I ok food but it needs to take credit card Or debit card it only takes card

Food really good. Some of the negative reviews on here are grossly unfair.

We didn't have any pleasant experience here, kebab was ok, burnt, not too good for £38. He, assuming the owner, was rude, and uninterested when we entered there. Only cash, no card payments taken, so my husband went out to look for ATMs nearby, me and 2boys waited in his takeaway shop. We were the only people inside there. While waiting, I asked him whether we can place the order before my Hubby comes back, he said he need payment before the order, we thought ok, fair enough. Then other people started to come in and placed the order, he prepared and took the money at last, what! We wondered as he said the opposite to us. There were 5/6 people came after us, all of them paid after their food was ready. But my husband had to pay first, then he started to prepare, which took 20min, others' were ready in 10min. Not happy with his attitude. we will never come back to this place again. Different approach to customers.

Was a clean shop etc but not the best food - chips were too salty and the chicken burger tasted like it came from a packet.

Who'd have thought a small town village kebab shop would be so good! I ordered meat and chips... MASSIVE portions even when you ask for small. Sauces worked well with the meat. If you're from out of town and passing through, look no further. Food was halal too

Just had my first kebab here and can't fault it !! Mixed kebab with salad and it was huge !! (I couldn't finish it all) I asked to have salad in separate box as wasn't eating straight away, doner, shish and kofta meat filled another box and pitta bread separate - meat cooked perfectly and fresh. The man serving/cooking was polite and efficient, working really hard. How anyone can slate this place is beyond me !!

Lovely burgers (chips were nice to 😉)

Place was very clean and presentable. The food presentation was good. Pizza was very expensive and to be honest the toppings didn't really have any flavour (cheap ingredients for an expensive price) Maybe a tad too much cheese. Tomato base was tasteless. Not the best pizza I've ever purchased although it was hot and freshly prepared.

Nicest pizza we've had in a very long time... Even better, it was lovely seeing the owner really enjoying his work, he showed so much passion in preparing and finishing a simple pizza... And we thoroughly enjoyed it.. Thank you... Top notch..

Kebab was OK, pitta served separately outside the box so was cold and hard, would be much better stuffed with Doner meat when ordered. Very Clean shop and service was quick.

Far too expensive. Just put prices up on some items 50%. Such as large kebab from £8 to £12. They aren't that good so wont use again.

We had a very tasty burger and chips , and the variety of meals on the menu is very good .

Always welcoming and friendly, pizzas are very good but the kebabs are even better. Prices are very reasonable

Very accommodating. We turned up at their closing time (7 of us) we'd failed at getting food everywhere (early closing covid) buy they responded and got us all fed ! Food fine and sensibly priced...All good

Absolutely disgraceful as they close at 12 midnight but tonight they closed at 11 I wouldn't of gave them a star but wouldn't let me leave a review otherwise

Top notch pizza! On holiday on the area and happened to stumble across this little gem. Pizzas were great and the service friendly.

Im from Birmingham we’re turkish kebab shops are everywhere, was pleasantly surprised the donner kebabs are beautiful & very generous. The chicken & kofta kebabs are also brilliant very fresh & good flavour, highly recommend

I have seen the Efes Kebap on the way to the car auction to Leominster and told my friend lets just try here as it looked like decent place, we went in there to order some food and i spoke to one of the stuff in Turkish (i am Turkish) which he was very friendly he took our order and chat a bit and he disappeared then the other stuff (probably the boss) came with a face like he had a mental problem no say hi or anything like that, he prepared our food and we asked for some chilli sauce and garlic sauce as we were going to eat in there, we have asked him to leave the sauces on the counter so we could use it, after 20 second he came to get the sauces from us told him leave the sauces on the counter as we are still using it he said he can not do that and i said we are not going to take your bootle of sauces to our home in Turkish and he told me that seems like you are new in UK i said i am in the UK for the past 20 years and i know how to treat the customer and he got upset, what a attitude rude and arrogant person, what a shame that i took my friend over there, for the food wise i have ordered a shish kebab and a doner kebab mixed and that is the worst shish kebap and a doner kebap i have ever had it, as a Turkish person i will never go there its not because of the food because if the attitude of that person, in my opinion he should take some courses how to treat a customer (may be banned running a business) and also he should go and get some help for his mental problem

Came to Efes a couple of Mondays ago . We decided to treat the boys to pizza,so bought 2 x 9' pizzas with chips and onion rings.Firstly it was a Monday evening and we were the only customers there. We were disgusted at the attitude of the guy serving us as he was very rude and arrogant. Granted we took a while to decide ,as we have children that are very fussy,so wanted to make the right decision and also we had our 2 year old with us ,so didn't want to feel like we were being rushed. The guy who I know is the owner had a serious attitude problem and made us feel so unwelcome from the moment we walked in. He asked us about 3 times if we were ready to order and then had the nerve to say in an annoyed voice 'were we actually going to buy anything'!! No mate we just came into your shop to look at the menu and then walk out. Very nearly walked out and went somewhere else where they actually wanted your custom. Then if that wasn't enough both the pizzas were only warm ,as if they had been warmed up and not cooked fresh to order and the chips were the tiniest portion you've ever seen and also had only 5 onion rings instead of 6. Won't be coming here again as appalling and not cheap either at just under £20.
