Edwards Bar & Restaurant at Bromsgrove Golf Centre in Bromsgrove

Dont know what happened today. Food so bad roast beef sunday lunch so poor. Didnt even taste like beef. Ive written this honest review because we have had many good sunday roasts this was awful. Cold veg soogy yorkshire puds. Dismal. Sort out the quality of the meat or you will loose business.

The Sunday roast beef lunch was so small we thought it was a child's portion. 3 very small paper thin slices of bought in slice beef from the supermarket if it weighted 3oz you would be lucky. The plate arrived with Yorkshire pudding hiding the slices with the gravey on it but we then waited for the veg by which time all had gone cold. This was a complete Faulty tower. You couldn't make it up. Will certainly not be going back. And £18 for a cheap bottle of wine. NOT A PLACE TO VISIT.

Go in here every Sunday for a drink and it is really nice really quick have a Bacon sandwich also really good 5/5 stars for the bar

Went to the driving range with friends then popped in for breakfast. Had the 9 holer. Good value, arrived hot and freshly cooked! Only criticism, 1/2 a mushroom!

The restaurant is newly refurbished & it's lovely, rich, warm colour scheme and contemporary furnishings. The staff are so friendly & helpful nothing is too much trouble. In particular our waitress Lyn was so kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and piping hot so compliments to the chefs as well! You really have a Gem of a business and we'll be back again soon!

Edwards Bar & Restaiurant is a great place to go and eat if you are on your own, as a couple or a big party! I have been there on many occasions for food with friends and family and the food has been pretty much good. It's a middle of the range type of restaurant neither your typical pub grub nor a posh nosh. Just sits there comfortably in the middle. Why, not. That's what we need during these challenging times. Honest, wholesome food at affordable prices!

Dined in the bar at Edwards, Bromsgrove Golf Club today. The food was delicious and I asked that the chips with my meal be replaced with a salad and was very impressed with the salad provided. The steak was moist and tender and the battered fish was delicious. We were also very impressed with the waiting staff - very friendly, accommodating and seemed genuinely interested in their work. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We had our group Christmas lunch here. You could not fault the food and service. I would recommend eating here.

We had my moms wake here last night, set menu for 32 guests. From the beginning as to deciding what to have, to planning of table layout to the food, the girls, Michelle and Sean were superb!!!! Nothing too much trouble, food was excellent, plenty of, hot so compliments to the chef as well!! We were not rushed out, even though gates closed at 10, it was a lovely relaxing evening celebrating. Returned Sunday morning for breakfast, again excellent food, happy staff and a lovely atmosphere! We cannot commend this venue enough, Excellent!!!! Keep up the good work everybody

Lovely staff and breakfast but pricing on web page out of date. Also I can't stand mushrooms so asked if I could swap for black pudding instead, wasn't told I would be charged 55p for it! Naughty, as they didn't deduct for not having the mushrooms, so be aware.

Good food..good service...We had the standard Sunday Lunch menu with 3 choices for each course.We will return.

Well as usual bgc surpassed itself, small gathering of about 30 guests accommodated for in the restaurant area, food from hot buffet, piping hot and delicious, could have done with a little more in volume, didn't quite go round everybody, most of staff attentive friendly and happy, the usual one looking as though she didn't really want to be there, but overall a fantastic evening. Keep up the good work Sean and team!!

Good choice of food on the menu that was well presented and brought to the table in a timely manner. There was a fair choice of beers including guest ales and a reasonable wine selection. Our party of 4 had starters, mains with a number of drinks and a bottle of wine for under a hundred pound. This isn’t the first time eating at Edwards and certainly will not be the last. They also serve an excellent full English breakfast, the only criticism here is that the tea pot is to small.

This restaurant is well worth a visit for just a couple or larger parties. The menu offers a good choice at very reasonable prices. The food is good, well presented and tasty.

This is a well kept and challenging little golf course which is great for beginners or medium handicappers, but an accomplished golfer will find it a bit simple. There is only one par 5 on the course, but all the holes are different and setting is nice. The driving range is excellent to warm up. I would have given this course 4 or even 5 stars but it lost stars basically due to the high green fees! £30 for such a short course, which is busy most times is a bit much. You can get some good deals on teeofftimes but they are few and far between. Compared to prices for other better and more challenging courses I think they should think again about their prices. I have played other nearby courses that are of better quality that are quieter and better value for money.

El 12 de diciembre de 2015 que había reservado para 10 personas para comer. Elegí este lugar porque tiene un restaurante aparte del bar, así que uno no se apartaban de pilar a post. Algunos del grupo había viajado bastante lejos, así que quería algo que era cómoda y bastante espaciosas como dos miembros son débiles. En ese momento el personal era totalmente extendimos ya que era muy completo. Sin embargo, no podrían haber dado un mejor servicio. Todos eran muy alegres y las mesas estaban muy bien distribuida. No teníamos prisa y escapar de la mesa de prisa.La comida era deliciosa y bien preparado. Compraron la tarta de cumpleaños lugar a tiempo y luego amablemente cortados en raciones para mis clientes. El costo de la comida era muy favorable y muy buena relación calidad-precio. No puedo hablar maravillas de esta excursión. He escrito a ellos personallyu ya que me pareció justificado. Haven't been to the golf club for many years, but met up with some friends recently as this was a mid point between both our locations. Our meal(s) were of good quality, value and presentation and served by friendly staff. Enjoyable evening.

Whether you want just a coffee and cake or breakfast, lunch or an evening meal Edwards continue to offer good quality freshly cooked food and very reasonable prices. Friendly service and a great alternative to the local pubs in the area.
