A very colourful diner in traditional style. The menu had a range and we chose a burger and a salad. The staff were professional, checked to see if we wanted anything and if we were happy with our choice. For a quick meal this was ideal.

The ribs were slimy, with little sauce. The corn was rock hard. Service was slow or extinct. Pricing was high. With little choice, we plumped for Ed's. Haha, it's rubbish. It certainly isn't an American diner... Not like any I've been to in America anyway. Rubbish food, rubbish service, over priced. Never again

We were looking for somewhere to stop on a return journey from Chester to Norfolk. Pulled in to several but for various reasons (small, chaotic car park, drunken youths etc!!) we pulled right out again!! Needs were becoming urgent so, seeing Cambridge Services, in we went. Once we had regrouped, wife and grown up son had already decided on Ed's Diner - I had zero expectation! Wildly wrong! All the staff were really friendly and welcoming and soon picked up that we, certainly me anyway, were not regulars! Took us through the menu and the milk shakes were served quickly - best I;ve ever had, out of this world. Can't remember exactly which burger I had but it was very big with cheese etc. Obviously made with top end meat it was absolutely fabulous and certainly as much as I could eat!! Everyone else was equally impressed with what they had. Maybe not cheap but we didn't care about that - certainly impressive quality and already planning to go to the one in Norwich as soon as possible! A revelation for motorway services these days!! Well done!

We came here for dinner on Saturday it was amazing!! The man serving us was lovely he explain the menu to us and was super friendly wish we took his name!! We ordered Pepsi’s which had a free refill and the man always asked if we wanted another one when it was empty we never had to ask. We both had burgers and they were amazing we couldn’t finish them as we were both stuffed we will definitely be back when we next visit Cambridge!

Only dropped in by chance but will certainly use again. Good choice on the menu with friendly and helpful service (shout out to our excellent waitress, Elle-Ann). Food appetising and tasty! Ignore KFC and McDonalds - go to Ed’s Diner.

I like to think of myself as a 'bit of a foodie' and love a good country pub. However, I was with my eldest boy, we needed something to eat fast and popped into the services for a McD's (or similar). However, we thought it would be nice to have a look at this place... and what a lovely surprise it was. The burgers we cracking, milkshakes fantastic and service second to none (the manger was particularly attentive and interested in making us feel welcome). Don't get me wrong - this is a gaff in a service station so don't think you're going to get Michelin Stared food, but its a hell of a step up from normal, bland service station fair.

I was not expecting too much to be honest, but as staying in the hotel next door I went in on a Saturday afternoon which was fairly quiet. The menu had a good choice and was reasonably priced for a motorway service station. The staff were friendly and were genuinely keen to help.I will have to go in one again when back home in London.

This is a cafe/diner at the Welcome Break stop on the A14. We ordered a small breakfast but one of our party was vegetarian and here was not much choice at all if you didn't want the big breakfast. One option was egg on toast, made up of a serving of toast with two sides; egg and tomato. This was a small portion, one slice of toast, one small egg and just one slice of tomato, (costing £1). We enjoyed the food, the sausages were not particularly good quality thought. We requested soya milk for our coffee but was told this was not available, which seemed odd in such a large diner. Staff were friendly but the meals were a while being served and we found we spent far more time here than we wanted to.

Great American experience, lots of choice from the menu. Large clean dining area and good table service. As this is a service Area it can be very busy at times but there is a large car park. Well worth a visit.

This is a new American style diner which is part of a refresh of the service station. It's certainly different to what was there before.

Take a step back in time to an American Diner.A Jute box on your table with all the great songs of the 60's and 70's. The decor matches that era and seating alsoThe food was great we had hamburgers and onion rings and chips. Best hamburgers we have had for ages.

This my first review on Tripadvisor. I normally leave it to others to comment but this was so disappointing I have to give my viewsThis is a 'motorway' service station so my expectations weren't high anyway but the hot dog I had was inedible. The diner is bright and clean and the staff friendly. I had a classic dog with fries. The bread roll (brioche) was so dry it was awful and it had been completely cut through so it lie rally was inedible except with a knife and fork. I can't speak for the burgers but give the hotdogs a miss.

After hearing such good things about this chain, we were excited to see a new one has opened up at the A14 Cambridge services near Swavesey. Unfortunately we were left thoroughly disappointed and won't be returning. The staff were miserable and rude, as if we were too much trouble - the food was sat up on the side for ages before being brought to us (they weren't that busy!) and although drinks are refillable, it took us ages to get a waitresses attention to get another drink. After the AVERAGE food, with what should have been BBQ sauce and tasted more like ketchup and brown sauce mixed together, it took us another big effort to get someone's attention for the bill.£25 not well spent... we'll be going to McDonalds or KFC next time we're in the area!

Just wanted to thank Nikos, Hayleigh and the team at Lot 25 for looking after us so well at the Wake we have just held there at the café. The treated us with compassion and understanding from the first meeting to organise everything and kept us fully posted up to the day, where they looked after our group of over 100 family and friends so incredibly well. A superb venue, lovely staff and lovely food, thank you.

Always enjoy visiting here for something to eat and drink, usually breakfast items such as a bacon and egg roll, scrambled eggs on toast. Food quality is always very good, and I think the staff there are excellent. Polite, friendly and always very helpful. Visit about two or three times a month. We have bought plants, bags of peat or compost, and I like the collection of greeting cards for sale. Always good to spend the money accumulated on the Loyalty card.

£9 pounds for 3 cold takeaway sausage rolls at 4pm. Rip off. didn't display the price either hence ended up buying it as the guy had packed already. His friendly attitude doesn't cool the pain of such waste of money.

Sunday lunch. Loads of well cooked veg and tender meat. Only criticism was the vast amount of thick (bland) gravy poured over the entire meal. Would have preferred a gravy boat so could choose how much gravy to have. Unfortunately the gravy dominated all the other flavours - other wise would have been a delicious Sunday Roast. At £20 a head I would have expected delicious (non-generic) gravy that compliments the meal. Sticky toffee pudding was to die for ! Lots of warm sticky toffee sauce and a light and delicious sponge , and some lovely vanilla ice cream ! Staff were lovely , service quick and efficient. Lovely ambience. Minor tweak with the gravy recipe / and a gravy boat and would have been top marks !

We first visited about 10 years ago when our daughter moved from Scotland to this area. We went in and were immediately spotted by the host "Yes sir, what can I get you?" with a welcoming smile. I was unfamiliar with the local ales, and was invited to try a selection free of charge. "Are you eating" he enquired. "Then have a seat, I'll bring your drinks over and get your order". And so it has continued for about 10 years. A place to really enjoy. In 2 weeks this will end. I just hope that when we next return, the new owner can continue this service. In the meantime, thank you!
