Edlington Grill in Doncaster

Donner meat n chips. My dog wont even eat it, so I no it's bad.. my dog eats anything apart from this horrible food. Its disgusting and need shutting down

Cold food i walked 2 mins home and its freezing. Asked for paprika. Never got it. Won't be going again

I would not go to Edlington grill can’t get orders right when you complain you get banned from the grill

Not sure what's happened to this place cos we used to order from them regularly but 3 out of 4 people ended up feeling unwell last night. We all had chicken shish kebabs and there was definitely something strange about the chicken, tasted reheated. Shame though cos used to like this place but will never order again.

The price was too expensive and the pizza topping wasn’t cooked amd we never got a bottle of pop which is normally standard won’t be using them again

Got charged extra £2.50 for just asking them to make sure the kebab came with salad, they forgot to put garlic mayo on the kebab meal, forgot the chips, and the food quality is shocking really greasy and very bland

Usually the food and service from here is great, decided to try something new that we could share as a family instead of the usual. Ordered a kebab meal from the meal deals section. Paid extra for cheese on chips and left a note saying for the sauce to be in pots, as my partner wanted chilli and my child won’t eat that. It came with no cheese on chips and the sauce all over the meat. Phoned the shop and was told I didn’t get the cheese on the chips as I’d not selected and paid extra to have it as a “meal deal” despite the food I ordered being on the meal deals menu. I didn’t mind losing the money for the cheese on the chips as it was only 70p but then the information I got was that even though I’d ordered from the meal deal menu I should’ve paid an extra £2.30 to change it to a meal and then the 70p for the extra cheese.. £3 they wanted for cheese on chips for something already down as a meal. Regardless of telling me I’d selected on its own they still sent me my cans of pop which would come with a meal and took my money for the cheese on chips? As for the sauce on the meat, I was told I should’ve ordered the sauce separate in pots, which again would’ve incurred more money when the meal already came with sauce, it was then explained that as it’s a price altering change that’s why they didn’t do it, which I appreciate and can understand. However, before this I was told that even though I’d put my request in the comments. The chef’s don’t always read the comments, so what’s the point in having them? To top it off my partner ate this as soon as it came while I made myself and my son something different and he had a few bites and left it as the meat was cold and dry. I hate to leave this bad review as this had become a regular take away restaurant of ours, but I think better/clearer systems and higher standards of food need to be in place if this is the normal practice.

I ordered a medium kebab. Came already in the pita, perfect amount. Best mayo I've tasted (I know, but it's true). My friend had a chilli burger. Delicious

Ordered on website and thought I had selected delivery but had accidentally clicked collection, got a call to advise of the error. I asked if this could be delivered which they agreed to. He then proceeded to tell me off down the phone and was very rude!! When the food came didn't really feel like eating it after been told off like a child!! Clearly they never make mistakes!!

Apart from taking quite a while to arrive, it was one of the nicest takeaways we’ve had in a while, really enjoyed it.

Placed my order thought i had done it for delivery but my mistake it was for collection after going down to pick it up (doesnt take 5 mins from my house) got back home with it and it was nearly cold rang to tell them to be told it was because i didnt collect when it was readygot told it was kept on top of oven but it cant have been turned on sharnt be ordering from there again

we always use Edlington Grill but terrible delivery today, ordered @ 9.15 and after ringing up to complain..we received our order over 30 minutes later

I have been order meals from Edlington Grill for months now and the meals was lovely. Never had any problem! Today I ordered 2 scampi and one as a meal with cheesy chips and its only came with 2 box of 20 scampi, no chips, no salad and drink at all! I paid £9.50 for just 20 scampi! That's an insult! Very disappointed! What a joke! Absolutely rip off! The lady who spoke with me over a phone has very bad customer service. She always argued with customer and never listen. What a shame! Food was nice. I won't be ordering this place again!

Called here for a take away and we were very pleased with our meals. If you spend over a certain amount you get a free drink. Prices are very reasonable, and they do delivery too. The meals were hot and very tasty. Staff were jolly and polite and happy to chat with the customers. Its clean and tidy throughout.

Lovely base Tasty toppings a plenty Great selection of flavours Yummy seasoned chips Dangerously moreish and arrived when promised

Me and my partner always use Edlington Grill and have done for years. Never once had any major issues with my food or service, a few times on big orders they may of forgot a sauce or drink but always rectify by sending it straight back out. Great range of food and good prices. On a weekend delivery time may be around an hour or sometimes a bit more but food is always warm and tasty.

Staff were all quite ignorant, as if they didn’t want the custom. Food was below average at best and certainly not worth the stomach aches and amount of toilet visits the following day. If however you’re in need of some quick weight loss this could be perfect, you’ll be watching the lbs ‘flush away’ in no time.

We've been choosing this takeaway for many years and at first they were great... Then tapered off a bit.... Then were amazing (about 3 years ago) so we came back. However we now never get what we order. It isnt worth the expense or time taken. The inconsistency is the let down.

Delivery times a bit long and sometimes orders wrong but they always rectify the order and the food is always nice which makes us return. Nice kebabs and kids meal are massive

Ordered many of a time from ere but latlet food.always cold takes well more than 80 mins to get ere wen it does always cold n disgusting . Then delivery driver asks for a further 2 quid . . .

Food is fantastic but charged me for delivery. I live under 3 miles from Edlington Grill but charged me for delivery.My order was over minimum order

Waited over an hour for our order and the chips was absolutely awful could tell they was re-heated a few times. Rang up to get phone put down on me....poor customer service!

Please keep away from here I used to use this takeaway for conveniance, telephone always engaged took me 45 mins to get threw to order once, the girls on the phone are really rude, the food always takes over 90 mins to turn up when they say max 60 mins, and then when u get the food it’s cold and soggy becouse it’s been round that many deliveries before your house, ive sent a couple a takeaways back becouse they were cold.... really gone down hill this place very disappointing.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!

Told me my order will be ready for delivery in 40-60 minutes. Still waiting after 90 mins and their phone is always busy. No other way to contact them.

Love this place!! Order from here loads just advise to ask for pizza lightly cooked as its tastier IMO!

Poor service waited an hour and a quarter for delivery and had to end up phoning only to be told they were just starting to cook it no apologies for how long or anything like that told them not to bother in the end poor customer service the person on the phone has no customer relation skills at all

Use this takeaway all the time. So so tasty. Their southern fried chicken wrap is something else.. the wrap itself, unbelievable. Paprika fries? Outstanding. Coleslaw isn't great but who cares when everything else is so nice!

Edlington grill is great food. Taste lovely and cheap prices. They are very friendly and reliable. I highly recommend

Really would advise eating here. Me and my partner order two texan burgers and they were super nice and fresh. Had to wait a while but was worth it.

Bien fácil de usar servicio en línea, envié un correo electrónico directamente de regreso indicando su comida es estar preparado y estará con usted en 30-45 minutos. Después de 50 minutos empezó a sonar otra vez, todavía línea muy concurrida por 20 minutos. dieron y estaba a punto de hacer yo una tostada cuando 1 h y 35 minutos después de haberlo pedido llegó. Oh, están ocupados nos dijeron. Eso está bien, pero no engañan con sus tiempos de entrega. O más líneas de teléfono y más conductores de entrega o parada tumbado clientes. La comida es buena, aunque todavía.

Hemos pedido unas cuantas veces desde aquí esperando que mejore. La comida es muy cara y tiempos de entrega son sencillamente ridículo. La comida nunca caliente pese a estar cerca.

Fabulous takeaway. We have used this takeaway numerous times and cannot fault it in any way. You always get fresh food from here. Their chips and cheese are simply the best around! Fab food & friendly service everytime

You always get good fresh food from Edlington grill and everything is tasty. The only thing is I would say always check your order as sometimes things are missing.

This is a superb takeaway or delivery. Fantastic kebabs and friendly service. Can't comment on the pizza as I just can't resist my large chicken doner with chili sauce and salad.
