Eddie Rocket's in Belfast

We were seated quickly but it took about 20 minutes to get our order taken. We were disappointed to find our favourite burger (Dip’n’flip) had been removed from the menu. Kids meals were still as they were so we ordered Dinky Dogs, Sausages and Mac’n’Cheese with Texas Toast. Our adult burgers were bland, they lacked a spicy crunch. The fries were good. The chef was eating some sort of toast behind his station while frying a shedload of bacon. We didn’t get the Texas toast with the kids meal, and my son wanted it. We told the waitress, who said it didn’t come with toast. We showed her the menu and she said “Oh, sorry about that, did you want it to come with the toast?” We said yes, and she shrugged and walked off. We waited 15 minutes, still no toast. We asked another waitress who told the chef to make it for us. It arrived in minutes. It was bog standard toast with a garlic butter. Must have come from a loaf of Hovis or something, it was definitely not Texas toast. We felt ignored and the food wasn’t worth the money. I doubt we will be back again because the service and atmosphere is lacking.

Glorified frozen junk food. No dressing and they serve the kids frankfurters instead of sausages. No sweet chilli for an American style restaurant and no side dressing on the plate ( like lettuce red onion and tomato would make it a little better. For the price your better taking yourself off to McDonald’s.

Nothing special nothing particularly bad to report either. Very average food. Possibly a fancy McDonald's. Expensive for lack of quality. Wouldn't rush back

Good: staff seemed nice, kids menu with crayons good for toddler, chips a good sized portion and meat and salad on burgers decent Not so good: bread on burgers stale, floor filthy Will not be in a rush back to eat in but it’s family friendly if you need somewhere to go with kids and will give it another try for take out.

Food arrived cold, undercooked. What a disappointment especially for the price of the food! Will not be back

To say this place was disgusting, overpriced, frozen cheap garbage would be doing this place justice. Me and my girlfriend came to this establishment as a 1 off as we were hungry and it is safe to say that I won’t bother even looking by it again having been there for a measly 20 minutes in which they had managed to make both our starter & main courses in half that time, to conclude the staff had nothing to improve our experience or discourage me from leaving a review but all they had to say when told the food and experience was shocking was sorry with no remorse

I have never experienced the like before. How food that looked and tasted like it did could be served up to customers is beyond me. Were those really actually onion rings? As for the side order of cheesy chips, I have posted a photo so people can judge for themselves. First time experiencing Eddie Rockets and would never go back. Waitress was nice.

We called in here on our way to the Ferry back to England. We had made good time on our journey from Southern Ireland and thought we'd treat ourselves to a meal before we got on the ferry. We chose this eatery as it looked fairly busy at about tea time. Overall it looked clean, but signs of it being tired in places. My wife used the toilet, only one of about 6 female toliets were open, the one with a non working hand dryer. However the gents seemed to be presentable, with loo paper, soap, hot water and hand dryer that worked. Now to the food, it was OK but not spectacular, I had the Smokestack, my wife had the Southern Fried CBC £9.95 each. Chips and a std Coke Zero were an extra 4.55. Milkshakes were nice, my wife really enjoyed her Ferrerro Rocher version. With 1 Fudge Brownie the total bill was £38.10. I know times are hard, but it just seemed to be lacking a bit of a fizz for the prices of the food. Did not expect sparklers, but just missing something. Service was adequate, but not spectaular or special.

Myself and my family visited Boucher Rd Belfast branch yesterday evening to celebrate my husbands birthday. Arrived to be told 'service is slow today'. Got shown to outr table, pondered over the menu, 15 minutes later waiter arrived to take our order, gave our order. A few minutes later he came back with the receipt and asked me to check what we ordered, when I looked at the receipt 3 items were missing. It was good he came back to check the order as it would have been wrong. My burger Arrived first, 4 minutes 23 seconds my daughters chicken tenders arrived. Nearly 10 minutes later my husbands meal Arrived. My burger by then was getting cold, we like to eat together. I had to call the waiter as he forgot our sides. From placing the order to eventually getting the full order was Nearly 25 minutes. Onion rings were so over cooked I could feel my bridge coming loose. The boneless wings were so dry. The main disappointment over all was the seasoning on the fries, too much salt, this made them unbearable to eat. I asked the waiter to do fresh fries without the seasoning but went up to counter to cancel as we were leaving. While paying I made the waitress aware about the meal, 'so sorry, so sorry' was all she said, I suggested that a shaker of seasoning for the fries should be on the table so customers can have the choice to put it on their fries. We visit this store regularl. Now will think twice about going again. The whole celebration was ruined as my husband loves your restaurant.

1 as no plates and very small burger for 17.00 first trip for ny boyfriend and I was disappointed as I always had a great experience previously. Staff unhelpful and rude

Been here a few times over the years. Last time was over a year ago (as food wasn’t really up to scratch) but decided to give another try. We were told a 15min wait on arrival but was more like a 5min wait. Service quite slow..could be staff issues (visited on a Sunday- quite late afternoon). Food better this time but daughters 'smartie sundae ice cream' was unsatisfactory..may have been lying at the back of the freezer for some time and just plonked in a glass with some syrup at the bottom of the glass- which was quite random! Would not recommend, as it was hard as a rock and took some time to thaw out. Would have been much more appreciated served out better with maybe some whipped cream/chocolate sauce added? Just my personal opinion :-)

Decided to try here as we were in the area, what a mistake. Ordered and then waited about 40 minutes for the food to arrive, burgers were alright, although a bit on the small side and not worth the money. Chips were absolutely freezing, asked for them to be replaced and replacements were not really any better, lukewarm at best. All in all will definitely not be back.

Visited today to see what it was like best bit was the milkshake the food was OK but not one I'd rush to go back to this little lot plus another milkshake was 26pound near enough.. But pricey for what it is..

Visited today with my daughter - service and food superb as always - think this particular eddie rockets is the very best - on entering personal details recorded and the place was immaculate - observed staff constantly cleaning - staff also very pleasant and nothings a trouble - keep up the good work - highly recommend !!

I have never been more annoyed or disappointed in a meal in my life. The first picture is what we were served for £34.70!!! £35 pound for four tiny dishes that wouldn’t fill anyone!! Their “side” of nachos was 10 chips with a slice of plastic cheese melted on it for nearly £5!! The milkshakes were served in what looked like a metal bowl that you make the milkshake in and the £10 burgers were so small! I am astonished that after such a terrible year for the hospitality industry that anyone would chance their arms like this and serve such terrible food for such prices! When I complained the manager he basically told me that’s what it is and then offered to give us the “bigger” portion of nachos for free. When that arrived (the second picture) you could have knocked me over with a feather! It was TINY and would normal cost £7! Not to sound like a Karen, but I will NEVER be back and could not put anyone off it more! It’s ridiculous!!!

My partner and me used to eat in it but now it is only a takeaway now, great coffee, chips etc, the staff are excellent the place I'm talking about is at the boucher area, we are looking forward to some normality.

Greeted by friendly waitress at the door this place immediately transports you to America and the diner experience. My recommendation is the club sandwich, suburb ingredients put together expertly by the chef. Compliments to the staff at Eddy Rockets.
