Really lovely cafe on the seafront. Coffees good and I love getting a big old mug! Tried some food yesterday, the echo beach take on a croque monseiur and it was lovely. Proper ham, cheese and wholegrain mustard on lovely sourdough and came with some chips and salad. Honestly way surpassed my expectations! All staff weve encountered have been lovely and friendly, even bringing our dog some treats yesterday. A fab place for coffee in the old town. Can sit outside in the sun :)

Very friendly people and extremely comfortable seating. The food is very good. We had drinks, a meal and cake. It's good value for money as well.

Lovely little cafe with nice food and friendly staff. We only popped in for a cake and a drink but would definitely go back for a proper lunch.

Was hammering down, so popped in to get warm and have a brew. What a magic little find. Great tea and coffee. The cakes were excellent. One of the best Lemon Drizzle's I've had and I've had a few. Highly Recommended

I had a lovely lunch here with my sister. We had paninis, one coronation chicken and one bacon and brie. There was a delicious salad and chips with paprika and onion seasoning. We chatted to the owner who was very friendly. I would thoroughly recommend having a meal. I have heard the cake is good so must try it next time.

We wandered along one early afternoon when it was particularly windy , not too many people braving the cold after 1.30 so the owner had shut down the ovens , we had wanted Sunday lunch and obviously looked disappointed, the owner said if we didn’t mind the wait he would start the ovens up again ! We enjoyed a delicious roast Lamb and all the trimmings not too long afterwards . Owner is nice guy , food is plentiful and upstairs you might be lucky enough to enjoy the open fire 🔥 oh and the cake is to die for !

Excellent place to relax. Didn't see Martha! Dog is very happy with the doggie treats. Cakes gorgeous. Sun is shining, can't get much better than this in January.

Excellent chefs stew containing chicken and bacon, mixed vegetables and tasty dumpling. Followed by a tasty oat milk decaf latte.

One of the best roast dinners we have eaten. Excellent service and value for money. Everyone was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back

Took my wife & 2 kids for the Sunday Roast, honest to god, best roast I've ever had. So much food. 10/10 - great bunch of staff, friendly and welcoming. Top notch grub. 👌

Just had an amazing roast beef/belly pork dinner. Fantastic price with huge portions the cook Alex certainly knows what he's doing & Gerry the owner & staff made us welcome it's also dog friendly. Couldn't handle the massive apple crumble & custard included in the price, either two or three courses. Can't believe the crackling how it had such a crunch to it & done to perfection 👌 the beef melted in your mouth. Most definitely worth a visit if you're down Hastings right on the seafront. 10/10.

Great gem on the sea front lovely staff the place was spotless great coffee and lovely lemon drizzle cake but the staff are so welcome and friendly definitely recommend trying this place
