Great location right by the harbour and if you are lucky enough during your visit you will see the local fisherman landing their lobsters and crabs. The cafe is small with a seating area outside and upstairs. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The selection of cakes, especially their tray bakes looked amazing. We selected freshly made homemade scones and they were delicious. Wonderful service and quite a good menu to suit all tastes. Wish it had been lunch time because they serve my favourite a smoked haddock chowder! If you visit and have any loose change then there is a collection box for the lifeboat and what an amazing job they do.

Stopped off here for lunch. Sat outside in the sun overlooking the harbour. Idyllic. Had cullen skink with crusty bread, washed down with Irn Bru. You can’t get more Scottish than that!

The Caddy Mann Restaurant

25/11/2018: Been once before for a quick bite, so looking forward to this visit. Not expecting lunch service to be so busy, so glad we had booked a table. Made the atmosphere buzzy, but not noisy.
30/09/2018: One of our extended family members noted early on in our visit that the restaurant made them feel very much as if they were ‘at home’. This was the case indeed! The menu was varied and outside of the ordinary. The staff were relaxed, efficient and friendly with care taken to ensure we were all happy. The food was well cooked and, on the whole, well presented. A few of our party felt that their food was over salted. The deserts were excellent with praise from all concerned. The bill was very fair.

The Rialto

20/10/2018: Stayed in a holiday let nearby and saw this place while walking through the town. The coffee was extremely well made, and we also had the most amazing scone with jam and cream which was really well made and a great portion size. Reasonably priced and much better experience than any chain coffee shop!
17/01/2019: Wow, I absolutely love this place. The coffee is the best in Scotland. When you walk in you get a very warm welcome. We will be back!
