Eat Tokyo in Barnet

Sentí que debo decir lo excelente que es este restaurante. Voy allí con bastante regularidad para el almuerzo y nunca me decepciona. Las cajas Bento tienen muy buena relación calidad-precio, vienen con una buena sopa Miso, ensalada y arroz, y también vale la pena probar las especiales diarias, que son muy generosas. El servicio es amable y el ambiente bueno. Recomendado.

Pedí el almuerzo tempura & sushi bento con menú de rarmen £ 13. 80 . Vi la foto de antes del pedido muy buena. Pero servicio x 3 tempura de langostinos tan pequeño y sushi y calma. No estoy contento con este menú de almuerzo. ¡Pero todo el personal es muy amable, buen servicio!

No suele ser una pegatina para el servicio, particularmente en lugares que de otra manera hacen buena comida. En este caso el servicio es tan desafortunado que es difícil hacer un pedido. Eat Tokyo parece aceptar pedidos a través del teléfono, lo cual es genial porque recojo mi pedido usando mi bicicleta. Las últimas veces me hacen muchas preguntas que he respondido. ¿Necesito palillos, no tengo los de metal. ¿Necesito salsas? No. Uso mi propio wasabi. Si pudiera traería mi propia bolsa de transporte si me lo pidieran. Estas respuestas confunden al personal que bloqueó mi número. A mi mujer le gusta Eat Tokyo y si es menos complicado voy a acumular los palillos, salsas, tirar el wasabi y las bolsas de plástico. Realmente no estoy tan preocupado. Hazme menos preguntas y haré el proceso de pedido menos complicado. Mi esposa pidió a través de su teléfono. Recogí. Un Don Salmón. Nada para mí. Me sentí postergado ordenando.

Each of the dishes came nicely presented. Better still, all were fresh and the dishes meant to be served hot came hot, so straight from the kitchen with no sitting around. Well done

No we know why there was a long queue for the Eat Tokyo around the corner on North End Road but this one was almost empty. We had assumed they would be the same but not so. Very disappointing. Nothing seriously wrong, but lower quality. Lack of attention to detail, such as forgetting the wasabi for a sushi plate. Service was OK if a little undertrained.

Visited here on a windy Monday and we were the first customers to be seated. An hour later it was packed with locals and, reassuringly, quite a few Japanese who seemed to be regulars. My wife and I opted for some of the sushi rolls, fried tofu and prawn tempura soba. All in all, good value unpretentious food.

We found A Piece of Plastic in the Salad. My Step Daughter was about to eat it. Very Dangerous. Time Before there was Human Hair in the Fried Chicken. Avoid Eating in this place. Very bad Hygeine & Standard of Food. Highly NOT recommended ! Dont go there.

With such extensive menu choices and cheap prices it is not surprising that the place is often very busy and sometimes noisy. But, the food is good if you make choices that suit your tastes.

If available I won't give even 1 star,my wife just finished dinner there and order the takeaway for me it's sushi set but they put the hot rice with sashimi together in the takeaway box,that even the apprentice know that make sense at all,my wife called them ask about that but the chef response it's no problem. God bless you guys if you no get food poison after visit this restaurant .

Absolutely ridiculous and rude manager and staff . I just got in to find out the name of the manager that flush down the toilet a nine and more years of loyalty as customer . I’m never going back to any eatokyo anyway If you want to go to eatokyo Golders Green brunch prepare to do as Poli says because she is the manager and, she says so ,as she told to my wife . The waitress was rolling her eyes so I guess rude service is an addition to that place . Lastly as Poli will say to you in the question , you don’t need our money ? Go spend them somewhere else, where they respect you and your money . Honestly I’m waiting an answer not from you Poli but from the area manger or the owner . Do you want customers ? ,why they treat so rude to my wife and son ? why you don’t have in your homepage the information we need for reservations ( I know this answer , rules are made by Poli because she is the manager and she says so ) so we know and we don’t have to destroy our evening looking for restaurant and treated like that

Went here for lunch today.Had Prawn Tempura. Nothing special. When I received my bill.I offered my card..The waiter who was masked mumbled something. I assumed they didn't accept that card so I put another one down.Eventually he comes and says they don't accept cards for under £10.I put down a £10 note but was ignored. So eventually went to pay. The waiter tried to keep the change but I took it as rude service doesn't deserve a reward

I can’t understand why this place doesn’t have 5 stars! I discovered eat tokyo Golders Green in January this year after a recommendation from a friend. It’s always full sometimes even with people waiting outside to get in. What’s even more of a promising sign is the amount of Japanese people you see eating there. The menu is huge! Every sushi you can imagine plus so many other Japanese style dishes. The food is always so fresh and delicious. Quite often a large menu isn’t always a good sign but eat Tokyo really are able to pull it off as I’ve tried so many things on there menu and it’s all been incredible. Service is always very good too. Highly highly recommend!

Enjoyed my first experience of shabu-shabu. The all-you-can-eat option has a great selection of delicious things to put in the hot pot (mushrooms, prawns, tofu, brocolli, leeks, noodles, beef, pork and more). Additionally other side dishes are included (some sushi, japanese fried chicken [delicious!], tofu). The meat was plentiful and good quality. I recommend paying a couple of quid extra to get a soup or two in the pot, rather than the basic water option. My partner was a little greedy and ordered slightly too much ;) but it was so delicious we still managed to finish it. Didn't need the whole 2 hours, no need to rush in our case. The restaurant is very busy and staff are run off their feet. Still, we thought the service was prompt and polite. I think some of the commenters here are a little unkind in saying they are rude, in my experience they are incredibly busy and trying their best! And I've been here many many times to pick up takeaway.

Today we visit eat Tokyo G2 in golden green with my family I must to said I was going to eat Tokyo Every month Centre open the branch in Golders Green today I had such a bad experience the stuff is not organise all panicking and the old man work in there he’s such a rude person I’m asking please let me to check the bill before a pay he said no and he took to build from my hand punch the number in the card machine said to my mum pay after that I’m asking can I see the bill he said no I’m asking to see the manager he said something in He’s language and walk over I was checking the bed he come and shouting to me give the bill to me I’ll print it for you I said no problem can I see the manager is I can’t said something I will go away with a 10 minute nobody come then we going out usually just said thank you to you and bye nobody said anything to us or anyone else after that I’m asking for the bill he looks at me he me to print again he said something I didn’t understand when are back at square is the manager said is no manager manager in holiday and heverybody look at me, I feel uncomfortable and walk out I’ll pay full amount plus the service charge and I’m not happy with the service such a vast experience I have in G2 eat Tokyo restaurant today.

Good value and great range of food - but don't seem to understand the very basic understanding that when people go out to eat together they are expecting to eat together. Not to sit hungry watching the other eat - or feeling guilty for eating alone. And when asked for the missing meal the reply was that they were busy - which implies that it is to be expected - not a good sign for the future. Shame.

I ordered today 8 dishes and they served me 6 wrong - I paid £43 & I feel robbed. I ate once at the restaurant and it was good - but don’t order Take away… what a shame.

Wanted to try shabu shabu, (Japanese hot pot style boil your meat and veg yourself on your table in a giant bowl of steaming fish broth). A quick google search later and all roads pointed to this place in Golders Green. Overall I would say it’s good as a once off experience and certainly fun, but in terms of taste factor its not going to blow your mind. You need to add heavy amounts of chilli sauce (they charge for this! Wow) and various other sauces to lift the taste factor. Don’t get me wrong it’s perfectly edible and probably healthy too but just a little underwhelming on the palette. In terms of value I thought the £25 all you can eat including side dishes was actually very good value because you can order sushi as well as all the beef, pork and prawns you can eat with your shabu shabu... plus kids eat free.

Prices are good, portions are big and food is exceptionally good! Staff are also friendly. One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in London.
