Oh my my.. Just had an amazing takeaway from Eat a Pitta in Bristol, and wow, I'm satisfied! The pitta was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and made with real care and love. It's not just food; it's a taste of joy in every bite. Truly satisfying and a definite must-try for anyone around. Loved it.

Mouthwatering. Splendiferous. Megafantastic. Delicious. So tasty, juicy, healthy. It can be busy at lunch. Very friendly staff. Upstairs room to eat-in. They have added teas and soups for winter.

With all the changes over the past few years it’s not the same anymore. Prices now very high for what you get. Falafels are not only smaller but you also get fewer per portion. Flavours the same, and it’s very tasty… but what used to be a weekly meal for me is now a once in a blue moon meal just because it’s not worth the price anymore. Also: what happened to your beautiful serving/salad bowls, now food is served out of metal containers making it seem more “subway-ish”.

Good healthy food, portions are very generous, staff are very friendly and helpful.

Visitors to Bristol. Very hot day. Didn't know anywhere. Needed food. Lucked out ! Beautiful, absolutely packed falafel. Filled us up for the rest of the day. Only gripe is that I live too far away to come back again today ! Thanks :)

Not as good since all the changes. Falafels don't taste as nice, menu isn't as good, some good sauces missing. And bring back the nice dishes too

Delicious salads and crispy felafels. Menu is almost completely vegan, apart from feta and tahini (I think).

Portion sizes are OK Good array of filling options Service was great Tables upstairs weren't cleaned but maybe the 2 members of staff on hadn't had the opportunity as I did go in just after lunch.

You have lost a customer here....and many more I imagine. You removed the SMALL Falafel in a pitta forcing customers to go large. Very disappointing

Eat a pitta serves great food and I have enjoyed eating there for over a year. I am not a big fan of their new menu change, it has now become more expensive and there doesn't seem to be an option for a mini box which was the perfect size for lunch. I don't see why they couldn't just add new items to the menu whilst leaving the other things the same.

They make a tasty falaffel pitta. It's a good lunch or quick meal option.

The food and servers are fine. I have been here a few times and it was all good. But I found a long blonde hair in my falafel bowl today. It was extremely unappetizing and I dont think I would want to eat at this specific branch ever again. The salads that are left open should be closed or the staff should be trained better for hygiene. so 0/10 do not reccomend!! The servers are very nice though.

Park Street staff member danny is the friendliest, and good humoured member. Always brightens my day. Variety of salads and you are easily able to customise!

I just needed a tasty nutritious bit of food as wasn't starving but quite hungry. I was gobsmacked to discover I could have 3 falafel with amazing hummus and sauces for £2.35! It was so fresh and delicious and the staff are great. Will be returning and have already recommended it to several people and will continue to spread the word! It's great to find a lunchtime takeaway which doesn't have bread as standard although the pitta and salads looked fabulous. Thanks folks

Got a meal through Too Good to Go - this was meant to be worth over £13. Got a salad box with salad dregs that weren’t even fresh and 4 cold pieces of falafel. Not good enough to feed my pet rabbit. Shocking! Photo shows salad with 4 pieces of falafel removed as these were the only edible items. Bon appétit! Following your response: yes I took the photo after disturbing the food. But you have missed the point: poor quality and lack of freshness. Disappointing that you are so dismissive about poor feedback. Good day to you!

Stumbled in here and delighted I did. I got a regular falafel pitta which was absolutely huge. Everything tasted fresh and was flavourful. Be prepared for a messy eat!

Really friendly staff, joked around and gave good recommendations! The juices were delicious (I got the green one). Falafels were yummy and filling :)

To begin with, all their food is vegetarian, tastes really good and is healthy. Additionally, their falafel and most of their salads are gluten-free. If you are coeliac, they even have an additional area with fresh salads, so there is no cross-contamination. The staff is really friendly as well. I am going there so often (I am an exchange student at the University of Bristol) that e.g. David already knows me and prepares my food gluten-free carefully without me having to ask again. I can only recommend this place.

I ordered the gluten-free falafel salad box and was not disappointed! Staff were happy to cater to gluten-free requirements, preparing in a separate area, and ensuring that the falafels arrived from the fryer without coming into contact with gluten. Still plenty of delicious toppings despite cancelling out the couscous etc. The BEST falafel I've ever eaten and a very generous portion! They also have a 10% student discount - 10/10!

This chain is always a go-to. Affordable and delicious. The staff at this location are especially great, wonderful folks with good senses of humour and impressive pita-crafting finesse. A staff member called Abbie was particularly helpful to me while there. Overall, highly recommend, great food, great price, great people!

It's like a candy house for a vegetarian person. Such colourful and healthy variety of salads. And the falafels are to die for. But I am not dying because I want to eat them. All of them. Would highly recommend.

I've eaten here a few times and always found the falafel good but the vegetables are terrible quality, the cheapest mass-distributed tasteless rubbish. It's such a shame. If they actually made proper salads instead of dumping cabbage out of a plastic bag it would be great!

If you've never had falafel, you might not want this to be your first falafel experience because once you tried this you would not want falafel anywhere else! They are that good! Fresh salads too, do yourself a favour and get a hearty, healthy meal here!

Very good options for vegetarians and vegans. Different varieties of salad with falafels. Staff is very friendly. This place is always busy. Price is very reasonable considering vegan and fresh food. I loved it.

I can’t fault the food and the value too but it took far too long to get my order. 20 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a sandwich. Everything seemed to be slow and rather badly planned. The idea deserves to do well so I’d suggest looking at how people can be served as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Delicious food- tasty and filling. The falafels were perfectly cooked- not stodgy and nice and crispy on the outside. We had the Moroccan salad bowl, with a fluffy white pita (and also a brown one). The additional salads on top were great, with pickles, too! Apparently it's a Bristol institution here so we made the right choice!

Stumbled on this, what a find absolutely delicious filled pitta, falafels and halloumi and delicious fruity drinks

I love falafel wraps and used to stop by my local everyday in uni. Normally they are one of the most consistent fast foods you can get. That being said, the wrap here is frankly bad. I wouldn't blame someone for thinking falafel isn't good after stopping here.

The 10 falafel + hummus box is a serious portion and probably the best value on the menu at under £4. Recommend the hot chilli sauce to go with it - it does have some heat to it but don’t be put off by the name, it’s not going to take your head off. Remember to get a loyalty card for a free drink every 8 visits.

Awsome food. Basically the perfect hang over cure. Its fast and efficient and they always go extra to make sure its what you want. Also love the packaging being sustainable!!

I've never had a falafel pitta, a) as large as this or b) as good as this. Rammed with fresh ingredients, it was really tasty and filling - thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Very tasty juices too. We sat in upstairs on a rainy day where there were a few spots to sit, but it looks as though this place is perfectly set up for takeaway also.

Went in the eve after gym and they made the food fresh. They were more than happy to serve me. Just next time I might use the app 'too good to go' as they had loads ready for pick up at half price.

Wont ever eat there again. Twice staff have made rude comments towards me. Customer service seems to have been forgotten here. The white guy in the dreadlocks (yuck) was happy to make insulting comments whilst I was ordering. Not sure exactly why. He also stated to his mate in the 1.5 years he'd been working there he'd never received a tip... I wander why.

I used to love Eat a Pitta, and get lunch there several times a week. A year or so since my last visit, I was really looking forward to experiencing it again. However, it was pretty disappointing. I opted for the classic (most expensive) box, and was disappointed to see how small the box was - the same as the much cheaper hummus box I remember. The server then proceeded to add one small spoon of each side and a single dollop of hummus, before adding 5 stone cold falafel. Portions used to be substantial and affordable and of an excellent standard, but this was expensive and mediocre. So disappointing...

So good, great food and the staff are always very nice, super quick service too, would highly recommend. Best hummus around.

Eat a Pitta is quite a legendary thing around Bristol. There are 5 (that I know of) around the city, offering delicious, fresh falafel and salads bursting with flavour. The classic falafel box is a favourite of mine, with chilli sauce and garlic tahini sauce. This is a contender for the best value food in Bristol, given the sub £7 prices and massive portion sizes

Good food, especially if you are vegetarian or vegan. Bit slow to serve on the one hand, then rushed to move outside or upstairs out of the way, whilst waiting for friend, but apart from that, would recommend.

I ate a quick pre-theatre snack recently in the Clifton branch and could not believe just how delicious and healthy the offerings were. I’ve eaten a fair bit of falafels and this type of food all over the world and these were up there with the best. I’ve never seen so much healthy food packed into an enormous wholemeal pitta and salad box. I was giggling to myself thinking ‘how much food can they pack in’ - truly scrumptious and inexpensive. The fresh juices made infront of you are fab and again - packed with vitamins. I wish I had an ‘Eat A Pitta’ closer to home!

Got a houmous pot here as a snack but it was huuuuuggggeeee! Not that I’m complaining but definitely more of a meal/sharing snack. Very tasty and fresh houmous!

Had excellent service here the past two years but now it’s literally not worth going if the manager is serving. Buying 10 falafel and 4 salads and splitting it with a friend used to be a large serving of food. The last two times I’ve been he’s put it in the smallest box with literally a tablespoon of salad for each serving. Everyone else working there is lovely and gives you an appropriate amount but if the manager with dreads is serving just turn around and go to spoons. You’ll be back there in 5 minutes anyway when you finish your kids portion. Not good value.

Very disappointed, I go to eat a pitta regularly and my only complaint is the manager with dreadlocks. If he serves you be prepared to receive less than half your usual portion making it not worth it in the slightest. Everyone else there is great and you’ll get a great meal.

No happy with the service given by the guy with the Rastas. Not nice at all and not talking in a good manner. He was even training a girls that day and she was scared! The experience there was not good in general and of course I won't go back because of this guy! The food....nothing from another world! The juices are ok

I go here quite regularly and often have problems, you get quite a mix with the staff sometimes they are absolutely lovely but sometimes when it’s not even busy they can be quite rude and dismissive. UPDATE: was contacted privately and the issue was sorted out and I will be returning to try again.

MUST TRY ❤ You guys, I fell in love with the classic falafel pitta from Eat a Pitta - blew my mind and changed my life, honestly. Their small size is actually huge... and you get 4 crispy warm falafels married to ~5-6 freshly made, juicy salads + hummus + various pickles. Just yum! I ate once and wasn't able to eat for the rest of the day 😆

Went in for my usual order, as I do on a regular basis, and today I was served a measly portion that was not anywhere near the standard I am used to. I politely asked the lady for my usual standard portion and was met with a nasty, dismissive attitude. I seem to have the same issue with this particular member of staff and have often avoided going in there when she is serving because of this. I very rarely write negative reviews but feel as though the service was so appalling today that management need to be made aware, as I have colleagues who have had similar experiences with her and now no longer go to this particular establishment.

Best falafels I have ever eaten. It can get busy and a little hectic, but worth it once you get your food.
