Excellent fish and chip shop, always busy! Food is consistently great, big portion sizes, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Had 3 1/2 pound cheese burgers and 2 medium chips. £27.50 Burgers were dry and chips over priced. £4 per bag.

Such a lovely team. They cooked chips to accompany our wedding meal in July. These were all ready on time, hot, delicious and curry sauce was added in. Many many thanks - very happy guests and couple :)

Me and the Mrs fancied a battered mars bar and no one does them in Bristol, well this place done it for us and it was the best ever! Hopefully will put it on the menu !!

Best fish and chips in Bristol. We used to be regulars and the staff were always friendly and the portions are amazing. Pretty cheap too compared to most. The Chicken nuggets are elite. We now live in Stoke Gifford and nothing compares, :(

The best fish n chips for miles....we phone ahead then no waiting needed as they tell you what time your order will be ready. Cash only, big free car park too.

You have to wait for them to cook your fish but take it from me it’s well worth it lovely fresh tasty and piping hot

Fantastic chippy. I go there regularly and always get really good quality - less greasy than other places, crispy not at all soggy, fish tastes fresh, chips are perfect in my opinion, and not expensive considering the portion sizes!

Amazing fish and chips all freshly cooked to order. Owners and staff are brilliant. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Used thier online ordering (click and collect). Booked our order for 6:15. Waited and waited finally got our food at 7:05. What we did not get was an appology for the delay. People were making walk in orders and getting food inside 20mins. Sadly it wasn't worth the wait, crumbly batter rather than flacky/crispy, potatos used for chips were poor and not great tasting. The cod itself was tasty. Would not recommend and wont use again.

Consistently great quality fish and chips. My (sometimes fussy) daughter also loves the chicken nuggets, which are good size chunks of chicken. Always popular, can pre order online which is a bonus. Friendly staff who clearly care about their food and customers.

I'm amazed with all the positive reviews. My cod batter was dripping in grease, this fish was no way freshly cooked to order.. it was also one of the thinist bits of fish i have had ever, it looked and tasted like it had been refried from earlier in the day. Admittedly loads of chips not bad taste, however useless given you so many one portion would be enough for 3 people, half the portion and half the price would be far better rather than throwing half away. Honestly I know they do a good trade but it really beats me why? Perhaps u could say I was unlucky, but I won't be going back to find out as there are plenty of fish shops around that are far far better.

recently moved into the area, decided to try this place out and i wasn’t disappointed. came in with the missus and got a chicken burger, easily the best i’ve ever had definitely getting it again. place was clean and you’re hit with the smell straight when you walk in. staff was friendly and even offered my daughter a lolly. 10/10.

Delicious food. Great service. Large cod and chips to die for, crispy from outside juicy and tasty on inside. Big range of sides to choose from. Must try the hallomis. Delicious and thick Curry sauce. 100% recommended

What can I say, great value for money, big portions, well cooked, well packed, staff are all absolute legends, Burgers are amazing, and their curry sauce is some of the best ive tasted, me and the Wife are moving out of the area soon, will miss this place a lot

Absolutely love this place, easily the best fish and chips in Bristol and extremely generous portion sizes too. The only gotcha is they are cash only, thankfully there is a cashpoint nearby.

Was in a rush after trying to pick up a prescription for my poor old dad who's on end of life care at home went in ordered within 10 minutes out fantastic service by the gentleman who served me he actually cheered me up with his conversation and nice smile I'll be definitely visiting them from now on 11/10 lol

This is my local chippy and has been consistently good, fresh quality and reasonably priced over the last 3 years of buying from them. Have tried many many others in Bristol but they are often inconsistent on any given day.

Quite a popular place. Fish always cooked freshly. Very nice food and no complaints there. But I must say, the stocky lady serving ( 40's, blonde hair) would benefit from brushing up on her personality/ politeness.... a smile and a "thank you" would be much more pleasant than an attitude and a "there you go" when handing you your change and again when handing you your food.

Bought large cod and chips when I got back home (5 mins in car) the chips were not hot very pale and limp The fish wasn't much better, bread crumbs not crispy and the fish wasn't very hot Seemed to me like the oil wasn't hot enough but who knows?

This is one of the best chippys in the area. The fish is of good quality and the chip are really good. Also they use paper bags, so food doesn't get so sweaty or soggy.

Rang ahead for a order and the guy couldn't understand me because he was still talking to people in the shop whilst taking my call. Had to repeat myself 3 times. Very Rude!! Also. He didn't ask what type of fish or if the jumbo sausage was bartered.

It's hard to get a 5 star review from me but I had cod and chips, perfectly cooked and a decent piece of fish. Staff were friendly and seemed that at least half the customers were regulars. Will use again. Price was reasonable too.

Lunchtime fish and chips. The staff are friendly and helpful and the fish was freshly cooked. Unfortunately the food was very greasy and the worst tasting fish and chips I've had for a long time. This was a surprise and disappointment as the food here has been good on a previous visit but this latest experience means I won't be returning.

Absolute Joke! Took my grandson for chicken nuggets & Chips, waited for 20 minutes, no sign of them even asking if they had put them on, asked for money back...went somewhere else, cooked in 6 minutes!!! And it was cheaper in the other place, offering a free dip too! Not recommended!! Staff attitudes need to realise they need to increase business, not humiliate or disrespect customers!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the lady that helped me recently (blonde hair), I stupidly went out with no money and my phone had just ran out of battery just as I was about to run out of petrol. I asked several people for help before and no one was interested in helping me. This kind lady let me borrow her phone and even offered to lend me money for petrol. Eventually I made it home safe, I'm just really grateful for her kindness and willingness to help me. Thank you!
