Best chicken burgers around. Just wish they did normal fried chicken too!

Chicken burgers are best in Bristol.

Oowee is really hard to say, like is it oo-wee, or oow-ee, or even oo-wuh-ee. Anyway, this distracted me long enough for the time to run out and I had to order the default order. This consisted of dirty fries, which were made from all the fries which had been dropped on the floor, garnished with a pinch of salt and marmite. A handburger, made from cows. And a milkshudder but this tasted like fruit for some reason. Also of the cost the measly sum of £√(40,000. Good luck for the future. Regards, Frostly the Grumlin

Just simply amazing, took my girl here on our first date and well, the marmite waffle fries were truly some aphrodisiac. Big up the chefs

Visited Oowee with my partner around midday. We were greeted by a lovely couple who I assume were the owners who showed us to our table. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! Great value and will definitely be back.

I recently visited Oowee Diner and even though I only had the fries, but they were hot & fresh. As we we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and asked if we were planning on dining in or taking away. The lovely staff gave us plenty of time to look at the menu, which we appreciated. The restaurant has a a wall with abstract art, making the wait for our food quite enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Ordered take away so I can’t comment on atmosphere but the well priced food came in surprisingly large portions and great flavour. They even wrote a little message on the bag hoping I enjoy the burger, lovely energy. Great waffle fries and amazing onion rings. I’ve recently turned veggie and I’ve missed burgers, this very much fills that hole in my stomach - my only complaint is the size of the burger, but I’ve a big mouth, so I’ll have to order two next time.

OMG!!! Had the crispy chicken thigh for the first time here…speechless! Moist, delicious marinade, wonderful crunchy coating with further secret seasoning. The cheese and baconaise was the perfect accompaniment. I paired it with cheesy jalepeno fries. And I’m so happy right now! 🤤 My mate loved hers too!

Always order personally from Owee whenever my family has the hankering for burgers. The burgers are very juicy and freshly made, you could literally see how they made it from the shop. Additionally, they've got varieties of side to choose from. Our favourite is the buttered fries. Service was score only 4 stars because you have to wait a bit before you receive your order. But it is not also a bad thing as i can see it is very popular and there are plenty of deliveroo drivers lined up to take their orders too, which means loads of people do order online.

The first time I ordered they left out my onion ring... The 2nd time I ordered I recieved a single patty instead of the advertised double. Okay taste in the end but definitely not the best burger I've ever had

Oowee is my go to burger spot, the double double cheese is faultless. Really reccomend the garlic butter fries with a side of the garlic Mayo, the creamiest thickest garlic Mayo I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to get some churros, I could eat about 20 of them. Always get quick service by friendly staff.

Was asked to leave a review by the staff, £52 for 3 burgers and 2 portions of waffle fries, no drinks. EXTORTIONATE PRICES FOR AVERAGE (GREASY) FOOD. Just about everywhere else in North Street serves better food and cheaper (even the Pizza Hut).

Nice food but smaler porcions Oowee is changing

I'm a big fan of Oowee Diner, and will say that nine times out of ten they are on point, and I've reviewed them each time with five stars. But there's been two or three occasions when one of the items I've ordered literally looks and tastes like it's come from somewhere else. Their loaded fries are amazing, but last night it was like someone had poured some sub-standard gravy on top of some oven fries, thrown two or three pieces of dry fried chicken on top, and dropped a dollop of mozzarella in the corner. Because the burgers are filled with grease (part of the charm, ofc) there have been times where they haven't been so fresh, and the bottom part of the bun has turned to mush, and it has all soaked through the packaging. Oowee isn't cheap, so I expect better care. Deliveroo were kind enough to offer a full refund, but it'd be helpful if Oowee themselves had responded to my review over on Deliveroo. Who knows, perhaps they will here..

I like Oowee but visited shop for the first time . It seems a little tired inside and ok if a little basic. Issues , menu online , I know I hate dirty menus too .. second gripe , two small basic burgers two fries loaded but smaller than they once were and two shakes. £45 this is Five guys territory and five guys give you the world in comparison. Which leads to last gripe, the fries in their newer smaller container tasted like they had been precooked cooled and reheated . Come on guys you are charging premium prices , cook fresh ( they came too quickly to be fresh) or chuck , The cheese sauce was thin and anaemic and the jalapeños weee poor quality. Burger was ok relish was not that nice. I love a shake in a burger place but these are more expensive than five guys and again nowhere near the premium quality the strawberry flavour is weak. Oowee has definitely changed its standards all round . I used to like them because they were producing a good product, now, there are many other places in Bristol where you will not only get value for money but places that exceed it

You can see why they have won best burger 2024. I had a beef burger and a chicken burger both was 10/10 would highly recommend.

Just had the worst burger ever. Delivered within 1.5 miles away from the dinner. Food was stone cold and the burger was completely squashed fries over cooked but cold and the cheese balls were also stone cold.

Very solid smash burgers, somthing changed at Oowee but I’m here for it, the quality control is on point and you get exactly what you read and dream about. Juicy dirty burgers that hit the spot! This time ordered a dirty double and chips, the burger was juicy, full of flavour seasoned well, solid helping of sauce and toppings. Chips had solid crunch but soft inside and certainly cooked in clean fresh oil! I’ve been going here for years now but stopped but recently returned and they have upped their game to make sure happy customers and repeat custom! I’ll be back again! The atmosphere wouldn’t be for everyone but if you’re into music and feeling like you’re in a busy diner setting it’s perfect, can be little loud and busy at times and it’s not table service but certainly wouldn’t let that put you off! The service is quick and professional and staff are happy to help! Go get yourself one, you’ll be impressed!

Good choices for dips better than Wingstop will use again just for the dips options!

I don't know what it is with the chicken burger but it always seems to upset my stomach. Food is ok but I think the vegan branch is better.

Very nice burgers. The burgers were a good size and had some great flavours. The staff were nice and the service was pretty quick. The fries were on the very skinny side (slightly too thin personally), but still tasted good and the portion was filling.

Ordered waffle Fries and double cheeseburger to take away - got home to discover the double cheeseburger was just a normal cheeseburger, for £9.95. Bit annoying. Check your orders while you're there.

We often go for a long trek to the South of Bristol, just to get an Oowee burger and chips as a treat. It never disappoints. Love the dirty burger and dirty fries. Always leave full and happy. We will be back nom nom!

Just a solid burger joint. I like that you can dial it up and have a big, dirty burger - or tone it down and just have a single patty. They’ve got range!

Lovely burger but the coating on my chicken burger was way too spicy. Would have preferred slightly less spice, but still a yummy burger. The rest of the family enjoyed theirs, so overall a good experience.

I came in tonight and ordered a single cheese patty and marmite waffle fries, getting it home I have plain chips ( not waffle fries) with nothing on them . disapointed as usual , oowee always seem to cock up the order. if they did more cooking and less talking would probably help them get the order right. wasn't even busy
