Absolutely useless. Ordered 5 items for delivery...received 3. No beef burger delivered. No dip delivered. The vegan chicken burger was delivered as a vegan beef burger. Fries were stone cold. Onion rings were good! Ruined our takeaway experience. Called the restaurant and were told to come and collect the items. Clearly they don't understand the concept of ordering delivery! unapologetic and not willing to help ...absolute shambles of a business.

Best burgers around and most expensive in the southwest

Terrible experience- the inside of the restaurant is unclean, damaged tables and chairs and smells horrible. Obviously 99% of their business is online but they'd genuinely be better off closing the restaurant section. The young woman who served me was rude, unhelpful, and distinctly more interested in her boyfriend stood by the counter chatting than taking my order- which is fair but maybe not at work.

It’s my first visit to Oowee’s in Bristol. I love supporting local micro businesses, especially if they hit the mark. Unfortunately this little burger bar didn’t do it for me. I felt it was overpriced (the food was exceedingly average in presentation, composition, temperature and scale). The seating area had an aroma of tables and floors cleaned with a mouldy mop. For 5 burgers, 2 shakes and 2 bottles of water (£65!). Upon leaving we noticed a a small poster offering a meal deal which could’ve knocked a third off of the bill. This wasn’t introduced by the counter staff who instead allowed us to blindly shop (thanks for that) Don’t think I’ll be heading back there anytime soon! Sorry but if the cap fits

Cashless venue which is not cool in such a multi cultural part of the city. Also overpriced for average food. Also needs a deep clean 💯. Lost me on the cashless part. Literally seen 3 customers leave as only had cash. So many better accommodating burger joints in Bristol. 1⭐️ for me.

This place is super over priced. £13.50 for a burger not served with anything else. It’s no gourmet or special ingredients it’s a very standard fast food burger and I wouldn’t expect to pay more than £6 max for something like that! It smells like a kittens nest out in the restaurant. Quite disappointed.

Ordered here and was super happy with everything I ordered, had a good milkshake nice and thick some waffle fries deffo worth the garlic butter and had a banging burger. Definitely worth the visit

The food is always delicious, I’m veggie and the options are very good. This time the jalapeño fries were particularly good. The staff are always super friendly and chill and nice and they always play cool music

Absolutely banging!!! Lovely burger w the good quality meats and cheese in it. The french fries is also really yummy! I try to eat in here minimum 1 times/week. Really good, chill vibes inside. The stuff always nice and I feel myself always very welcoming when I come here. Thank you for the previous and future experiences! Highly recommend!

Oowee-Mama!! If you want the best burger this side of the Mississippi Delta, look no further than this fine establishment in the heart of vibrant North Street. Don't forget to pay a visit to the impressive gorilla across the road too.

Amazing burgers and great with a shake!

Oowee is good in many ways but I do find it very greasey which great if that's what your asked. Brilliant range of dirty fries and hefty multiple layers burgers which will leave you full! They're popular with locals and deliveroo so don't expect to pop in and be eating within 5 minutes. Peak times a good hour so it has it's downsides. Go at a different time and winner winner! Overall defo work a visit if you havnt been before

We had takeaway (click and collect) from here, the burgers were fine but the chips were awful, tasted like they'd been sat out for ages, really dry and chewy. Disapointing as when we've been before it's been much better. Bad luck I guess!

Great range of vegan and meat-based options, with particularly great buttermilk chicken options and burgers. The fries are good, including the waffle fries, but sadly the garlic waffle fries aren’t as punchy with garlic as they used to be, which is a shame. Even so, these remain some of the nicest burgers in Bristol!

Best burger on north street, but they seem to have reduced the amount they load on the dirty fries recently, but today it was back on form.

Ordered off of Uber eats from what I can only assume is a ghost kitchen they have near the BS5 area - so this may not be a fair reflection of the restaurant in Bedminster. However there was so much dissatisfaction with the £35 worth of food we ordered. - The cheese sauce pot was a watery and blatantly a powdered sauce. Oowee used to be known for their trademark, thick, cheese sauce. Terrible shame. - The only ranch dip they had to offer was vegan, and this tasted very “vegan” and horrid if I’m honest. Why sell vegan ranch sauce when there’s a standalone Oowee vegan on picton street. Don’t ruin it for everyone else! - The burger meat didn’t taste amazing. I used to live one minute away from the Picton street store when it first opened and wasn’t vegan only. The quality was through the roof back then. Always tasted fresh and of high quality. - Onion rings weren’t advertised as beer battered but tasted like beer… either that or something else was very wrong. Either way, didn’t taste nice. It saddens me to write such a naggy and negative review but my first years spent in Bristol were filled with introducing visiting friends and family to the amazing Oowee burger. I think the golden era may have passed regrettably. Don’t order this off of Uber eats.

La hamburguesa era fantástica y con descuento así que mejor relación calidad-precio, sin embargo las patatas fritas son la defraudación. El tamaño de los compartidos son cercanos a lo que solían ser los singles y cargado no significa cargado sino disperso. Las porciones individuales son demasiado pequeñas y no tienen gran valor , al menos estaban calientes esta vez. El batido de fresa también supo a fresa de nuevo. .

Oowee is really hard to say, like is it oo-wee, or oow-ee, or even oo-wuh-ee. Anyway, this distracted me long enough for the time to run out and I had to order the default order. This consisted of dirty fries, which were made from all the fries which had been dropped on the floor, garnished with a pinch of salt and marmite. A handburger, made from cows. And a milkshudder but this tasted like fruit for some reason. Also of the cost the measly sum of £√(40,000. Good luck for the future. Regards, Frostly the Grumlin

Visited Oowee with my partner around midday. We were greeted by a lovely couple who I assume were the owners who showed us to our table. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! Great value and will definitely be back.

I recently visited Oowee Diner and even though I only had the fries, but they were hot & fresh. As we we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and asked if we were planning on dining in or taking away. The lovely staff gave us plenty of time to look at the menu, which we appreciated. The restaurant has a a wall with abstract art, making the wait for our food quite enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Ordered take away so I can’t comment on atmosphere but the well priced food came in surprisingly large portions and great flavour. They even wrote a little message on the bag hoping I enjoy the burger, lovely energy. Great waffle fries and amazing onion rings. I’ve recently turned veggie and I’ve missed burgers, this very much fills that hole in my stomach - my only complaint is the size of the burger, but I’ve a big mouth, so I’ll have to order two next time.

OMG!!! Had the crispy chicken thigh for the first time here…speechless! Moist, delicious marinade, wonderful crunchy coating with further secret seasoning. The cheese and baconaise was the perfect accompaniment. I paired it with cheesy jalepeno fries. And I’m so happy right now! 🤤 My mate loved hers too!

Always order personally from Owee whenever my family has the hankering for burgers. The burgers are very juicy and freshly made, you could literally see how they made it from the shop. Additionally, they've got varieties of side to choose from. Our favourite is the buttered fries. Service was score only 4 stars because you have to wait a bit before you receive your order. But it is not also a bad thing as i can see it is very popular and there are plenty of deliveroo drivers lined up to take their orders too, which means loads of people do order online.

The first time I ordered they left out my onion ring... The 2nd time I ordered I recieved a single patty instead of the advertised double. Okay taste in the end but definitely not the best burger I've ever had

Oowee is my go to burger spot, the double double cheese is faultless. Really reccomend the garlic butter fries with a side of the garlic Mayo, the creamiest thickest garlic Mayo I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to get some churros, I could eat about 20 of them. Always get quick service by friendly staff.

Was asked to leave a review by the staff, £52 for 3 burgers and 2 portions of waffle fries, no drinks. EXTORTIONATE PRICES FOR AVERAGE (GREASY) FOOD. Just about everywhere else in North Street serves better food and cheaper (even the Pizza Hut).

As of June 2024, Oowee is better than Five Guys in Bristol.
