Eat in Hillingdon

Popped in here to grab a snack before flying off on holiday. Minimal vegetarian choice but grabbed an orange juice, a banana, chocolate brownie and a chunky free range egg sandwich. The sandwich was rather dry and difficult to swallow.

We came here as it seemed quick and easy. The family got a selection of sandwiches,drinks and crisps. They all enjoyed theirs but mine had stale bread. Considering the price I think them replacing it was the least they could do. I would have rather had a bacon roll but they had none in stock. I'll stick to greggs in future

I would definitely recommend and come back. If you want something reasonably priced and healthy this is the place. I had the Tuna and cucumber baguette with a Tanzing Rasberry drink. Overall enjoyed it. They offer hot sandwiches for people who fancy it and also cold salad dishes.

Waited for over 20 minutes just for a plain porridge, will not ever use this place again. It was in terminal 2.

This restaurant is just a very bad Prêt knock off. I got the salmon and red cabbage meal and I couldn't even finish it because it was so unpleasant. The quality is atrocious, especially given the high prices for the meals. Will not be coming here again.

These days, food you get on a flight is hit or miss, so to ensure we had a good meal on our long flight across the pond from London to Atlanta, we bought salads at EAT. They have a broad selection of chilled food packaged for take away. We picked the spicy crawfish salad and the chef salad with ham and egg. Both were fresh and tasty, with crisp veggies and generous portions of meat. The service was fast. The food was good value for the money.

Been a few times, it is my choice of snackery in terminal 2. Had a spectacular bowl of Thai Soup there once so I keep coming back. Staff aren't that nice at all,they're not fussed on eye contact or speaking entire sentences to customers, but the coffee is great. Was mad busy at breakfast and very efficient for take aways.

Rude offhand serving staff. No decaf coffee as “the machine had broken down”. Missed a drink from my order and when asked I was told “That was your fault”. Whoever is running this restaurant should be fired. Avoid and enjoy a good experience elsewhere.

After checking in at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 at 06:00 on a Sunday, we needed a solid breaky and tea, but without spending more than £20 for four people. Most of the restaurants in Terminal 2 consist of more posh (and more £££) dine-in options. The joy that we had when we walked up to Eat and saw a wonderful spread of fresh baked croissants, miniature donuts, pastries, yogurt, and other breaky foods (£1.50 to £2 for average price of a single bakery item). At the till, they also sell breakfast baps and porridge, although the bacon on the bap was quite salty. Tea and coffee also available for purchase; the English breakfast tea was a fare trade provider (not your standard Twinings or PG Tips). Bottled smoothies and juices also were available for purchase. Thank you, Eat, for giving us an affordable, quality option for food before an early morning flight!

Very busy, which is to be understood. However I did get the feeling that the servers were not that interested as there was no sense of urgency. Not only did my server not look happy, I got the very real impression he could care less about customer service. The chicken & sweetcorn chowder was pretty tasty as was the egg & ham sandwich other than one side of the sandwich not as fresh as the other. Must do better

Understandably it is a rather busy place yet none of the staff smiling. My fiancé have an extreme allergy to see food and when she picked sausage and tomato sandwich we read what it contain and luckily we saw it contain fish !! We asked the staff how come it contain fish First one answer it’s a mistake Second one simply said I don’t know Third one responded with “ sausage is cooked with fish stock !!! Manager respond that it contain a shellfish This poor knowledge about ur products can’t end someone life !!

If you are hungry in terminal 3 Heathrow go to the company eat and ask for goulash lovely thick plenty of meat and veg and what I would consider a good helping . It was hot tasty and satisfying and for a reasonable price of £4.50

bought a tuna baguette and asked for making it hot. the staff told me, that the management doesnt allow it anymore. so here is my answer to the management: this is the wrong way! there was no queue, so it was enough time and the ofen was not used...

You need quick and easy when you're sitting amid the hordes at Heathrow Terminal 3, listlessly waiting airside for your flight to shuffle up the monotonous list on the departures screens.

We scoured the eateries in terminal 3 for a salad to carry with us on the long flight across the pond, and finally found a nice chef salad at EAT. The check out was quick, and we were on our way.

Ordering from a limited menu ought to be a sinch....and sure it was early evening......but everything I asked for from the board had the same response - "sorry we are out of those" or "sorry we only have...." I ordered a latte and an americano and left to eat elsewhere.

Forgot to do this review on our way home from London at Christmas. This location has great bacon butties and lattes and friendly and efficient staff.

So efficient an establishment when dealing with so many customers. Obviously very popular because of service and its super choice of food and good coffee.

Always a good place to eat if you want something simple and warm. They offer pies, soups, sandwiches, salads etc as well as the usual hot and cold drinks. Fast service with a plenty of adjacent seating. Located after security airside in Terminal 3 so ideal if you want to eat before you fly. A must try. If this helped you please like my entry.

Having booked using Open Table, it seems your system does not &#039;speak&#039; to the booking system for the restaurant itself so they did not have our booking. Luckily they seated us but it could have been embarrassing for them and us had they tried to renage on the booking. Not happy.

We dropped in for a beverage and snack on arrival and were pleased with the coffee delicious and baked goods. The service was quick and pleasing.

After a disappointing visit last month I am happy to report that I was pleasantly delighted with my choice of a ham and egg sandwich today which was excellent and very tasty. Well done

Ambience, service and starters were very good. <br />Pizzas were very poor with very little topping. The cheese could hardly be seen let alone tasted. Pizza piccante had very little spicy sausage.<br />One of our party had chicken (pollo alla valdostama) which was far too large and had an overly thick layer of breadcrumbs. Something I would expect to find in a cheap food chain. <br />We decided not to risk desserts.<br />Coffee was cool. Certainly not optimum temperature for a good coffee.

Unfortunately the restaurant doesn’t have a system for accepting online bookings. We were fortunate that one table was available. Adviced that need to make telephone booking for future reservations. <br /><br />The manager &amp; staff were friendly &amp; helpful, the food was really enjoyable and good venue for a casual evening. We were seated by a loud &amp; drunk group of men so conversation was difficult.

It was a Tuesday evening, 6.30pm, and Piccolinos was virtually empty so ambience was next to nil. The food was fine though and the service good. Good location near the traffic lights but parking is always a bit tricky round there.

The menu here runs to about 6 pages but only had 2 or 3 vegetarian options which is not good enough in this day and age. I won’t return

Terrible food. Starter of Carpaccio was possibly the worst Carpaccio I have ever eaten and TBH did not taste fresh. I order Carpaccio in every Italian restaurant I visit. Ribeye steak was an off cut and was tough, full of nerves and was inedible. To make things worse, it was requested rare and came medium. Espresso was left on he side whilst waiting for a server and was cold when it arrived. To be fair, the atmosphere was nice, the wine was excellent , but it was an overall disappointing dining experience. WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN

We felt very comfortable, in a relaxing atmosphere. We were welcomed and looked after very well. We had a table on the balcony, which was lovely on a warm evening. The food was as described and tasty. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive, I should have recalled his name, apologies, a slim tall gentleman. All-in-all, a very enjoyable evening.

Fantastic service, lovely ambience. My Caprese salad starter was fresh and tasty, my main was seafood risotto didn&#039;t have any mussels in it as the waiter explained beforehand they had none left but I only had 2 prawns in it, I&#039;ve had it there before and it wasn&#039;t as nice on this occasion.

Enjoyable Saturday lunch at Piccolino in Stockton Heath. Food service was a little slow but the staff were friendly and the food was tasty when it arrived.

when we arrived we were greeted by a female member of staff saying are booking was 2 pm not 2.30. She basically called me a liar, we were shown to table next to serving area which was cold.The other staff were great and food good. The female member of staff left by the we finished lunch, told a manager what had happened when we paid, he did not care at all.<br />Will not be rushing back.

Our booking hadn&#039;t been processed by open table so staff had to fit us in which they did after I had showed them the email from you. It was my husbands 60th and my friends birthday on the same day which is why we booked it. We had to ask the manager to turn down the music because there were so many people in the restaurant we couldn&#039;t hear it. Also the food arrived luke warm. So no not a good experience at all.

Very please that Piccolino adhered to our request. we were offered a Terrace seat for 2 people <br />and given a complimentary class of prosecco.

One of the worst dining experiences we&#039;ve ever had. We waited over an hour for food, and then were served food that had clearly sat under a hot light for a considerable time. I asked for mine to be done again- it was a simple fusilli in tomato and basil sauce- and it was dreadful when it came back. The pizza was undercooked- just awful. The most disappointing thing was how we were treated by the staff. We will not return and will tell our friends to avoid it. A shame, as the Piccolinos in Knutsford is great.

Whilst the restaurant is smart, if you ate not in the airy upper deck it is rather pocky downstairs. Food is very expensive without being special and is very salty. The veal escallop at £24 was a piece of salty shoe leather. Overall, very disappointing.

Service is so poor, it takes ages to get a drink or order anything. Staff look down on you as if you are inconveniencing them, will not be back, food average, prices far too high for what you get

We booked a family dinner for my Daughters 18th, the service was excellent, great food and ambience, even for a Monday evening. We have visited before and eaten outside, they provide heaters and blankets in the Winter. Great they have a loyalty scheme too. Can&#039;t wait to dine outside in the Summer The staff made us all feel very welcome and we will return soon, probably with the girl&#039;s

We&#039;ve ate at piccolinos before and were always pleased with the food and service, so we were excited to get a table at the recently refurbished Stockton Heath restaurant. <br /><br />Oh how we were disappointed. Our table was booked but we still had to wait to be seated. Ok, not the biggest issue in the world, I&#039;m sure it&#039;ll get better...nope.<br />Waited 25 minutes before drinks order was taken. <br />The starters turned up and they were spot on, but then the mains turned up. <br />Had to be one of the worst fillet steak ever. Totally overlooked on one side, so much that I couldn&#039;t eat that part at all.<br />Service was ok, once the order was taken, but not worth the money paid at the end of it.<br />Won&#039;t be rushing back anytime soon given the choice in the immediate vicinity.

Food was lovely and staff were amazing. Decor is much improved and has a very chic feel. Value wise: a little pricey for a chain but overall we loved it!

Two of us, plenty of room to talk business with good service and nice food. The Lobster and chips were excellent. We both enjoyed the crab bruschetta for starters - plenty for one, fine for two.

We enjoyed our meal there, best to book ahead on weekends as we did, there was a misunderstanding in communication on ordering the food, but the manager quickly resolved it there and then instead of faffing about and we were impressed. Excellent food.

Despite having made the reservation for the evening of the 28th and then having received your reminder regarding the booking -<br />I fail to see how it was impossible to advise me that the restaurant was closed that evening!!<br /><br />I arrived with 2 important business guests and was confronted with a note on the door which said flooded and closed until Thursday<br /><br />I cannot honestly rate your restaurant in any way as it was not available for comments.<br /><br />Whilst the company I work with uses the restaurant frequently - I will personally not be using this facility again as I am bitterly disappointed and angry

This restaurant does not let you down for quality of food &amp; for service. The menu has plenty to choose from &amp; a great wine list to accompany it.

The standard of the food and service was up to its usual very good rating. The helping of food is generous for all but the largest appetites. The black cabbage soup had an unusual but highly attractive flavour. Well worth trying or repeating. The wines remain at the upper end of the price range for this type of restaurant. Would be good to have a house wine on offer in a cheaper range. Been several times before and will go again

Had the seafood misto platter for starters which was good, the Seafood/Prawn kebabs for main which was fine but only came with cherry tomatoes. Now I like cherry tomatoes but 16 on 4 skewers is a bit much! Could mix it up with peppers and onions, or show some better imagination. Pistachio ice cream for dessert was a bit bland. The Montepulicino wine was fine. Surroundings are more suited to big groups I feel than intimate dinners. Cost a bit more than I would expect given chain status and quality. Staff helpful

Its a nice venue, good reception &amp; thats where the service starts to go down. The food was highly enjoyable; however you get the feeling that they saw good service somewhere else and wanted to mirror. Staff forgot the drinks, too busy talking to each other and were not at all attentive to their customer&#039;s needs

I booked my table through top table for Piccolinos in Stockton Heath for Sunday 17th February 2013 to take my mother and father for a meal, we were so looking forward to the evening, on the 17th at 1pm I receive a phone call from the restaurant to say I do not have a booking as it was closed for the evening for a staff party! I was pretty disappointed as well as appalled for the late cancellation. Shouldn&#039;t top table already known this so as not to take bookings.?

I cannot give a review as I was called on the morning of Valentines Day to be told that they were fully booked and could not accept my booking. The booking was made at least a week earlier!!!! Not sure who to blame Top Table or the Restaurant either way it didn&#039;t go down very well with the wife as you can imagine!!

A good friend of mine, his partner, my self and my partner, met at Piccolino&#039;s for a pre-Christmas dinner. We were warmly welcomed by a number of staff. Before being invited to sit at the bar for some drinks while our table was being set. After some excellent &#039;Fragola&#039;s&#039; (Strawberry Champagne cocktail) our friendly waiter seated our party and took our drinks order.<br />As always the food and wine selection were comprehensive. I ordered half a lobster for starters, that was not on the menu, but the chef was happy to oblige. Both the food and wine were excellent, as was the service.

Well, where do we start. Table not available on arrival. Special instructions made at time of reservation not read by restaurant. Took ages taking order. Had to pour champagne ourselves. Gave up waiting for the bill and had to pay at the till in the end all coupled with an arrogant maitre d&#039;

Food not amazing for the price but it was nice. Felt a little rushed by the staff. Main meals came within 2 seconds of starters being cleared. But it was not a bad experience.

This is a lovely restaurant with service and food to match. The food was of a very high quality and I had a friend with me who lives and eats in London who was very impressed with the whole night. Definitley worth a visit

The restauraunt was great, however, the open table app doesn&#039;t work. Despite me receiving 2 emails from open table confirming my reservation, we turned up on the night to be told there was no reservation and was advised by the staff never to book in this way as it is unreliable. In future we will be booking our tables by telephone.

In spite of the restaurant not receiving our reservation from Open Table, they were very accommodating. The maitre&#039;d was apologetic and even bought us a drink while we waited only a short time for a table on a very busy night. As always, the food was wonderful and the service outstanding.

Celebrated Valentines in a packed out Piccolino&#039;s in Warrington. Had booked for 9pm, but due to number of diners had to wait 30mins to be allocated our table.<br />The meal was excellent and the atmosphere, service and quality of the food comes highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our night out at Piccolino in Stockton Heath. Our food was outstanding; hot, delicious, perfect pasta after a gorgeous asparagus appetizer and Prosecco. Also, very nice wine list and attentive staff. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again and again.

Piccolino - Stockton Heath<br />I&#039;ve been to this restaurant a few times &amp; the food is always great!<br />This visit : Antipasto Misto to start - a lovely fresh mixture of olives, insalata caprese, mushroom bruschetta, salami, arancini &amp; parma wrapped melon. All of it was delicious, a great mix of textures &amp; tastes.<br />For main: spaghetti carbonara &amp; seafood risotto. Both were rich &amp; tasty with the pasta cooked to perfection &amp; the bowl pleasingly full.<br />The service was excellent from all the staff.

I visted Piccolino&#039;s in warrington with a colleague. The food was lovely and the service was attentive and quick however you did not feel rushed. I like the atmosphere, it&#039;s noisy enough you don&#039;t hear your neighbours conversations but not so loud you can&#039;t hold a good conversation yourselves.

Took my wife there on Valentine&#039;s evening and enjoyed it enormously. Food was nice, atmosphere was good, and though it was busy (I believe they had two full sittings on the night), the service remained attentive but not intrusive. It&#039;s a enjoyable night out.
