Eat in Southwark

This place nice enough for food and it seemed like everything was pretty healthy, but I was surprised there was a 20ft queue all the way outside with people waiting to get in and the English must not know what a good roll and sausage is as I have been to better snack vans.

Ampia scelta sia di cibo caldo (zuppe) e che freddo (panini). Mi spiace solo non aver ritrovato Alessandro, un ragazzo italiano molto simpatico.

Detenido en aquí el desayuno con mi madre, antes de echarnos a los mercadillos de Navidad. Los cerdos en mantas bun era divina y el café era bueno, lástima el personal y el servicio.

Da costanti frequentatori di catene per la pausa pranzo e per bibite e snack vari durante la giornata, anche in quest'area,non avendo visto in giro Pret a Manger, che è il migliore nel suo genere(escluso il caffè!), abbiamo scelto questo locale per un breve spuntino a pranzo. Il solito tramezzino diviso in due (due fette di pan carrè ripiene divise in due triangoli), due succhi di frutta, una macedonia.Niente di particolare, ma lo sapevamo, mangiabili comunque.

Este lugar es una opción interesante para el almuerzo. Mi favorito es su sopa de pollo, que es delicioso.

I ordered a pho here that was absolutely huge. The soup wasn't very flavorable and there were any options to spice it up or add more flavor which was disappointing. It might have been my choice of entree, but I wasn't much impressed with this place.

Se siete italiani evitatelo. Panini immangiabili. È risaputo che in Inghilterra non si mangia bene ma non si può arrivare fino questo punto.

샌드위치와 커피등을 간단히 먹을 수 있는 곳이에요. 점심시간에는 직장인들이 많아서 좀 기다려야 하더라구요.

Nous séjournions dans l’hôtel d'à coté et vu le prix pratiqué pour le petit déjeuner, nous sommes allés chez EAT. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. Prix très corrects et viennoiseries fraiches délicieuses.

Un'altra catena presente in varie zone di Londra, diciamo un copia di Pret a Manger che noi preferiamo. L'abbiamo utilizzato in alcune pause pranzo e anche all'aereoporto di Heatrow. Insalate, panini e frutta, vanno bene a pranzo senza spendere una follia.

Eat used to be a go to place, so for old times sake I went to Eat there. What happened I thought, the salad was really unpleasant and after a few forkfuls I realised I would not be returning again.

The food is nice. I think if we are in a hurry and tired of the day I think it can be a good choice. But, not for an every day meal. At least not for me. Try it!!! It is not bad with you like this kind of food!!!

I've been a fan of EAT since they started in London over a decade ago. However other chains have since caught up, and this branch, near where I live, is definitely not up to scratch. When I went in there yesterday, the tables were dirty. The bin was overflowing, and several customers had abandoned their rubbish next to it as it wouldn't go in. The place wasn't busy, and I saw 3 staff there so they probably just didn't care. As usual the place smelled strongly of cooking and loud music was playing (too for my taste anyway). Also the place is unnecessarily cramped - there are a few small tables inside, but awkwardly placed so that once someone is sitting down it's hard for anyone else to. A new branch of Leon's is opening almost next door - now that is a really excellent chain, so I'll be going there in future.
