The cheapest produces of chicken iv just ate.don’t order from here it’s disgusting my egg fried rice was days old…………..

The delivery took too long then it was wrong. Then they said they would send the right order hour and half later still not been.

Firstly, our experience was that awful that I have created an account on trip advisor to leave this review. We ordered food at 6:34pm and was told it would be delivered by 7:55pm latest, the food doesn’t arrive so at 8:15 I called to ask about delays and was told it was ready and on the way. At 8:45 nothing has arrived so called again to be told it’s going to be 45 minutes. We requested to cancel the order but we’re told this couldn’t be done without the managers approval who was no where to be found, after agreeing to wait for him to approve the refund the order remained uncancelled for another 45 minutes. Upon calling again and explaining we would be complaining the order was cancelled immediately. Terrible experience staff seemed unbothered manager made no effort to sort this avoid this poorly run business. Doesn’t deserve your custom….#300 out of 301 Huddersfield restaurants, should be #301

Absolutely disgusted. Used to be my favourite takeaway. Just spent 32 pound. Special chow mein was a tray of noodles with a sprinkling of bean sprouts, no sauce, two prawns and minimal everything else. Chicken and mushroom soup is mushrooms in some watered down gravy sauce if you can describe it as that!!!! What the hell has happened. Overpriced but used to be worth it but Jesus Christ if I could give it zero score I would. Ratings in just eat app do not reflect the real food!!! AVOID AT ALL CHOST!!!!!!

Foolishly tried for the third time that salt and pepper chips are appalling no salt or pepper spring rolls soggy back to Chopsticks slawit shame cash only there but far better food

Given post code for delivery. Still not delivered in 20-30 minutes as promised. Rang and queried delivery. Got address wrong, when eventually arrived cold and was not what we were expecting. Will not be ordering from them again

Tried this place again after a long time as was just ok last time but Takeaway very disappointing- special Chow mein had hardly any meat (2 king prawns) but hardly anything other than noodles. Won't try again sorry

Food never arrives on time always 1 hour and half late. Freezing cold. Never again. Always miss out a item ordered and never get my money back.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY! Food arrived undercooked, no meat on ribs all gristle, egg fried rice was cold and bland and the rest was massively undercooked frozen food. Worst experience might aswell throw money in bin as they wanted me to pay again to try correct the order.

Food arrived freezing! Noodles where cold! Ribs where dry and meat was cold only warm if you will was the appetisers! Never ordering from here again! Disgusted!

We had a night in after a full on day and have ordered from this take away before. The starters were not too bad. The ribs had very little meat on and one was just gristle, but it was the only real meat in the meal. The chicken soup was so sweet. The main meals had lots of sugar in too! The chicken was over processed water filled whit bits, the beef was mushy and globby. No free prawn crackers. Did arrive on time- just

If you want a load of carbohydrates this is for you . If you want Chinese don't bother if you want any ethnic food don't bother. This must rate as the worst food experience. Enjoy

Ordered tonight after awhile of not having one from her and the food was hot so so so so tasty and cooked to perfection, definitely be coming back if it's going to be that good

My daughter and I ordered 3 main dishes, and sundries. The rice was greasy, and tasted of dirty cooking oil, the chips were obviously recooked and dry and foul tasting. The chicken in all the dishes was very tough and stringy. And the most bizarre thing was the sweet and sour chicken, 2 pieces, yes 2 pieces of chicken and no sauce... so I called them to ask about this dish, they told me they could send more sauce, but I couldn't have any more chicken... it was like being in a bad sitcom.

The gentleman was so helpful from beginning ordering and then fast delivery service and food beautiful so all the way I was happy customer

Ordered mixture of dishes, plum sauce duck arrived in three parts, deep fried something, pretending to be duck, rice (was the only thing I could eat in whole order), and plum sauce - liquidised corn flour with vinegar. Salt and pepper squid looked like chicken skin as had some fat on it (!!) asked no onions on anything, came with onions on everything! £44 in the bin! All smell and taste of old frying oil..

The meal is very good, the quantity is large, faster delivery , my family like the meal, keep it up!

Tried to tell me the spring rolls were won ton dumplings.??? Special fried rice, was mainly rice, with some shreds of fatty meat. Avoid like the plague.

I’ve never been so put off a meal in my life. Actually inedible. Ordered the pad Thai and it was pink? Egg and duck tasted very off. Honestly, I feel ill already.

Food was about 50 minutes late. When it finally got here, order was wrong and food was cold. Everything smelt / tasted disgusting regardless of this too. Nothing looked fresh, noodles were dry. Complete waste of money

Ordered and confirmed over £40 worth of food but it never arrived despite calling twice. No apology other than "we're busy". Rubbish. Don't use!

Opened the tub of crispy chilli beef and it smelt like a compost bin. When I rang them to let them know it was off, they told me there was nothing wrong with it and hung up, leaving me hungry and annoyed.

We been today with my friend in easter star takeaway. The food was so nice. The staff is so friendly. Will visit again. 5 star.

The most depressing looking and disgusting tasting Chinese I have ever had. What a train wreck. I wish I had read reviews on here before trying it. What a massive disappointment.

Avoid this take away at all costs. The staff are very rude and ignorant, and have zero customer service skills. The orders are usually wrong, and the food is not very nice at all. The establishment is also in need of a very good clean.

Pedimos la comida en 18. 15 y me dijeron que me llegaria en 45 minutos. Cuando llamé a tan sólo una hora más tarde me dijeron que el conductor no tenía tiempo de salir. Cuando el conductor finalmente aparecimos en 19. 45 (hora y media después de haberlo pedido) me dijo que acababa de salir hace 15 minutos y tenían otras entregas antes que nosotros. Le envió con su comida fría.

Do not order food from this establishment they will not deliver on Sundays despite. Claiming that they offer a delivery service within 3 miles ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE

Hubieran puesto 0 si se pudiera. Pedimos una llevar dijeron 45 minutos. Llamado después de una hora y fue engañado que sería 5 minutos ya enviado, pero cuando el conductor apareció (por esta vez nos había dicho que no molestes ya más de 90 minutos) el conductor nos dijo que la izquierda no hace 20 minutos 40 minutos nos habían dicho. Nos envió la comida lejos y fuimos al otro llevar. Es caro (hombre en el teléfono también tenía precios equivocados y era de más de carga cuando pedí como me registré con él reducido precios? ) pero pensamos que vale la pena pagar como en el pasado ha sido buena comida.Así que ahorre la molestia, el abuso y las mentiras y el orden de alguien que merece su negocio.

Absolutely disgusting & usually beautiful,I rang up to see if they would change my meal,(chicken chow Mein) they very rudely refused to change my meal & didn't even say sorry or care whatsoever!! Certainly lost our custom & we WAS regulars...

Chow Mein son preciosas! Siempre entrega rápida y muy amable, la comida sea u orden es precioso. Nunca lo hago comentarios comida pero se merece cada Estrella Oriental de crédito, hemos tenido un error antes con la comida y que rápidamente corregido! :-)

La comida fue muy decepcionante que nos dieron un mezclado de arranque y la rollitos de primavera y otras parcelas frito no tenía abundante. Las alas de pollo crujientes sabor habían frito en aceite muy sucia. Las costillas estaban bien. Yo tenía el pato en salsa de ciruela y me decepcionó mucho el pato era apenas reconocible y parecía que había sido fritas en el mismo aceite que el pollo estaba sucio. La salsa de ciruela no tenía sabor y era justo como salsa de azúcar. Podríamos perdonar todo esto si el llevar tenía una onza de servicio al cliente cuando llamamos para quejarnos. Nos encontramos con desdén y dicen que tienen miles de visitantes al día, así que obviamente estaban equivocados. Y que no se puede esperar para decir que no te gusta la comida en un restaurante y obtener un reembolso. Nunca ha sido tan estupefactos con comida para llevar en toda mi vida nunca volvería.

Pedimos un curry especial y un Chop suey especial, tanto con arroz frito. El curry especial estaba flotando en una muy fina salsa acuosa (más como una sopa) así los sosa de comida. Las verduras en el Chop suey especial obviamente no eran frescos, puntos...

We ordered our food on line. We received a text message that the food would be delivered anytime in the next hour. This came and went so I phoned and the young lady said it was on it's way. She lied. After another 15 minutes I phoned again. Once again told driver had just left. 10 minutes later he finally arrived. Just say he didn't get a tip. I will give you all a tip and say don't bother. Food was very average.

Having ordered a meal for 3 via 'Hungry House', we sat eagerly awaiting out meal.The delivery time came and went ( or grumbling stomachs stayed such ).We contacted Eastern Star, who told us abruptly that their delivery drivers car broke down, they've sent snother vehicle, call hangs up before my response..... Excellent !Once we managed to contact them a second time, we asked when the food would be here, which we were correctly told 10 minutes. We asked if the food was fresh or the original, as it was getting on for 90 mins since they accepted our order.The order was delivered, cold, 1 hour and 45 minutes after ordering. ( The original ETA was for approximately 45 minutes. We again, contacted Eastern Star, to tell them our food was cold. We wanted a fresh order, or our money back. Both of which were refused, in lieu of an offer of a discount next time. The customer doesn't hold responsibility for the vehicles a business as this uses, so I see it very unfair we are penalised for such circumstances.Crap customer service! There won't be a next time!
