Eastern Flavour Balti in Birmingham

My go to place for Indian cuisine, been eating here for years and they've consistently been amazing. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend trying for yourself and enjoying some delicious food.

This is what I would call a proper curry house / take away shop. The food is amazing, always.. I love that you can tweak your curries with extra bits and bobs. I love banana in my curries! But you can ask for all sorts, different strengths etc, very good choices on menu. Also, my grandad, who loved curry , always used this place… and I can totally see why. Nicest staff too, and the guy who delivers always has a great smile and looks very smart. Love this place. I live in Sutton Coldfield too, this is way better than any curry house in this area. 5 stars easy.

Ordered a mixed meat curry, mixed grill and some naan/ rice Wow what can I say, the curry was bursting with different flavours, meat was soft and tender. Absolutely mouthwatering 👌 💯 🔥 🔥 Chicken tikka was tasty likewise the meat tikka. Sheekh kebabs was banging. Finally chicken was flavoursome aswell All in all a very enjoyable meal. Top marks to the chef 💯💯

I enjoyed every curry I ordered today. The customer service was really good, the guy who took my order over the phone listened to what I asked for and made sure the chef knew I wanted my curry Bengali style, the delivery driver was polite so thanks to this place. Delicious food. ✨👌

Delicious and fresh food highly recommend as they always deliver on time and friendly delivery drivers on point. Ordered many times and will order again happily never disappoints

All I can say is it is ADDICTIVE! ABSOLUTELY delicious 😋. King prawn jalfrezi and the chicken tikka Madras was on point and the nan so fresh and full of flavour

Really do not want to order here again after seeing what I have just seen while in traffic. The guy inside, shutting the front door and taking an order on the phone while having a cigarette. On the door it says Food hygiene rating 4 but maybe this should be looked at again! Clear view of the kitchen behind him too! Shocking!

Came to restaurant, ordered chicken madras boiled rice . Guy say ten mins which I accept as cooking from scratch. Five mins later food is given, mentioned thought was gonna be longer but happy as hungry. Guy says gve me extra re poppadoms even better. Got home,food lacks any flavour, just heat, watery rice. My extra gift was just broken poppadoms. I have had lots better than this back in the day!!!

Good food at a reasonable price

Just had a delivery from Eastern flavour and it was the best balti I've ever had highly recommend driver was very friendly with excellent customer service. Ps, sheek Kebabs are beautiful.

Food is nasty and chicken looks like sum other animal never seen chicken like that in my whole life I spent 56 pound and they wouldn't give money bk and sll the food went in the bin so if u go here expect no refund on food if u don't like

Last night i ordered for the first time in a while and we had Sheek/Shami kebab, Tandoori chicken starter and chicken tikka masala plus chicken pathia. I think it's either under new owners or there's a new chef. Anyway, the food was out of this world; really great meal. We actually intended to eat the main course today. Suffice to say the main courses never made it to today.

If there were any way to do negetive review, I would have done so. First of all, I ordered food online by Uber. Apart from the limitations of the app, the restaurant just couldn't successfully deliver a single meal in two or more hours of time. The spokes person was extremely rude, the phone upon asking for the delivery time. When it begain to be very late, he was not picking the calls. The food never arrived. End up not having anything for dinner!!

I love this place, In the years we've been coming here the only major thing that has changed is the prices. The food is still as good as when we first done our taste test from there as the Balti Delight was starting to get a bit worse everyday we got 1 from their. Its on a flat surface. There is outside shop street road parking also not far from the old Cross keys pub Many a head was watered in their not no more.

Food was really good. But I was overcharged or the delivery is really expensive.

The food here is just wonderful I love it, The staff are very polite and helpful. You can park outside but they also deliver. I would travel for good food but there is no need as these are excellent chefs.

Friendly guys, food has always been on time, hot and delicious. What I do like about them is they personalise dishes where requested, so read instructions when reading. We had a Dhansak, madras hot and a vindaloo, lamb was nicely cooked and the sauce was beautiful.

Very nice Indian food. Also, the people working there are always very helpful and kind. I usually get the Bay of Bengal dish. Very tasty!

chicken balti .bland no taste just like eating thick soup and the chicken was really dry

The delivery time is quite long, but the food is so good that I still give it 5 stars! I just plan to order before I get hungry aha

Food is fabulous but delivery time is shocking. Currently waiting for our meal ordered two and a half hours ago and phone is constantly engaged.

A friend recommended this place and I'm glad she did. The man that answered the phone was polite and patient in assisting me with my first ever Indian food order. The butter chicken and compliments were wonderful and I will definitely order again and share my experience!

Nice food, but the driver let himself in through our front door uninvited because no one answered the door immediately! Totally unacceptable behaviour. My wife was in the house on her own and was trying to get to the door, but noticed the driver had already placed the delivery inside, and driven off.

Good food always hot and delivered fast

A language barrier sometimes becomes an issue with more complex requests and the staff are not great at communicating but the food is good and would order again.

Food was very average with just a little meat / fish, tried many times they have let me down with the amount of content they put in curry's. Very selfish behaviour.

Awful! I ordered a Balti last night to be delivered at 22:30. When I arrived home at 22:25, the driver got out of the car & said he'd been waiting for 20 minutes for me to arrive home! I tried to explain that i'd placed my order via the Just Eat app, to be delivered at 22:30, as I would not be home before then. The driver started complaining that, as he'd had another delivery locally, he thought he would drop my order off as well. I said I had left specific requirements for my order not to be delivered before 22:30, as I wouldn't be home before that time. The driver was surly and disrespectful, the meal was cold & I am NEVER ordering from this place again! Awful food, disgusting customer service!

Husband came home from working his late shift, warmed his curry up to find a piece a glass in it after eating 1/2 of it which stands to reason, how much was there in it to begin with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has cut his tongue and chipped a tooth..................................AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will be reporting to trading standards as this is disgraceful.

My fiancee decided to treat me for a curry , so we found this one on just eat and thought yeah why not give it a try! The guy on the phone was very polite . Our delivery driver was very polite also. The food arrived on time and tasted amazing. The portion sizes where huge and came piping hot . I would highly recommend this take away to others, as it was well worth every penny. We even got a free bottle of coke on the house for order over £30.
