Best place to have an Asian pakistani traditional Breakfast. I must say the atmosphere is very uplifting. And without any dought the food was great as usual.

As a non-local we arrived with a group. It became apparent that they aren't used to serving a busy morning. We waited for a long time and the food was so-so.

Had an Aloo Parantha & Omelette with achar. Was fantastic. Seemed like homemade Parantha. By the way. They dont take card only cash.

The venue looks better than what is currently uploaded on Google. I've uploaded an updated photo. Service was good food came out really fast.

Don't go !! I went to have breakfast this Saturday. The guy who was on the till looked like he had just been woken up. No customer service, no smile. It was my first time trying desi breakfast and asked for any suggestions . He gave me the menu. Then I asked for an English breakfast, and there were only 2 families, and after 40 minutes, I was still waiting for my food. So I decided to leave.

Absolutely revolting place to have breakfast. Premises are filthy. Often see bugs crawling around. I even had a dead bug in my tea. Never will I return.

We waited over 30 minutes at this restaurant for just 3 samosas and 3 drinks only for the samosa order to come back incorrectly and only one of our drinks to arrive. After another 15 minutes waiting for a coffee and a milkshake, being constantly told it’s ’on the way’ we decided to walk out and leave. Would not recommend eating here unless you want to wait over an hour for subpar food.

Really good paratha and very good curries it would have been a 5 star if the paratha was cooked with real butter rather then the oil based butter they use now The curries are vegetarian only would be good if they had some meat options

No frills, no nonsense, proper Pakistani breakfast. We love going here. Proper size freshly made paratha, with desi omelette and a proper doodh pathi tea. We always order chana as an extra

Best breakfast you'll find in Birmingham

firstly, we had to clean our table ourselves even when it wasn’t our mess. a few customers came after us and they cleaned their table immediately. secondly it’s so loud in the restauraunt and all the tables and chairs are too close to other tables and chairs which is a lack of privacy. the food took about an hour to come considering it was cold and full of oil. overall, do not reccomend.

I enjoyed my lunch with my friend it’s like home food. Please go for it.

Very close to authentic desi breakfast. Paratha and aloo paratha very good. Halwa puri and saag very good. Very nice karak chai. Good polite service. Food although rich was not too heavy on the stomach. One criticism was the halwa was cold and not fresh from the morning. Got there for 10am Friday morning wasn't too busy. Very reasonably priced. Overall great experience.

I was so looking so forward to having halwa puri and channa and paratha thought I try this place as wasnt too sure were to get the food from the halwa puri and channa and paratha was so tasteless and very oily puri and paratha it cost me £7 and the channa portion and halwa portion were so small hardly anything in them foil containers and the channa were stuck all together like they wasnt fresh and the halwa was so so tasteless had to put a bit of my own sugar just to make it taste a bit better and more sweeter as its was bland with not sweet taste in it what so ever and never again from here tasteless food sorry u lost a customer

Being a desi mom , it’s sometimes very challenging with British kids who never get tired of burgers . Anyway, had fast-food with them but my taste bud still longing for something chatapata 😂 ,something desi . I spotted Shere khan when getting back in our car parked right opposite to shere khan. Only two customers in the shop . I was not sure if the food would be good and worth trying for , but I did order simple nashta . Plenty of chole , halwa ,three puris that came with actual karak chai.. The fresh , delicious nashta ticked all the boxes . Imagine how delicious it would taste if I hadn’t eat food before ? Would definitely try again with empty stomach .

Prices are higher side. Need to improve the food quality.

Went today, haven’t had desi nastha in ages. Had halwa puri today the chanaa was amazing, reminded me of Pakistan. Authentic taste with perfect amount of spice. Puri wasn’t oily soft and crisp. Omelette and partha was full of flavour. Fresh orange juice very refreshing.

Rubbish place not worth the money the man over charges at the till.

Parathas are big nice and fresh. Not like the frozen ones you get at majority of the places. Desi chai is also good. Very reasonable in cost. Would definitely recommend.

I started to come here for Desi nashta. Staff are helpful and polite. The tables and floor are kept to a clean standard. Nashta is better than most places I've been to on Ladypool Road. Paratha is soft and tasty and chai is good. Waiting time is around 10-15 minutes if you go when it's not so busy. Overall a good breakfast experience.

Food was pretty decent however I did not like the tea at all. In my opinion it was void of any flavour. The achar was nice but I would not visit again. I could not find a food hygiene rating.

Went to have a good breakfast with hubby. Service poor .No glass tissue plates provided. Halwa was sticky like not cooked properly. Liked makai roti with saag that's why gave 2 stars. Served tea but sugar came after 10 minutes.I know its desi Pakistani but service should be improved and every customer should be felt welcoming and served according to their need and requirement.

I visited over there today for the very first time such a lovely enviroment staff was good and the food was so much tasty, the house was full but when the order arrived it was enough tasty that i wasnt imaging before.

One of the worst Resturant visited ever… the pink tea was pathetic every other thing is like swimming in oil and no taste.

Terrible service. AVOID!! Travelled a long way to this place for breakfast and after waiting in total 45 mins and constantly being told it was 5 mins away throughout, in the end we got up and left. Absolutely shocking service. Noticed a few other people who had also been waiting for just as long. Breakfast place? Definitely not. AVOID!!

Terrible slow service. Sat down for a meal with family. Restaurant was not full at all. Ordered, waited 45 minutes and nothing turned up. Prompted them at 30 minutes and they stated 5 minutes but still nothing. Then suddenly food comes out and goes to a family that came around 20 minutes after us. After questioning, the worker just shrugs his shoulders. Had to leave due to this. Who is to say how long we would have to wait.

I have been going there with family and friends for a very long time, always fresh flood, the prices are descent to.

Went here today for a Mother’s Day meal. Very slow service my daughter was so hungry as they took so long. When the food finally came after 40 mins, we ate and they still hadn’t given us our tea. We asked three times about the tea. Me and my husband both got the runs and stomach cramps since we ate from there.

Last weekend went to enjoy halwa puri with my son, it was awful, had to throw it away after sometime. If you are fan of halwa puri, then perhaps you want to go to chaiiwala or some other place.

It's a regular place we come for desi breakfast. Great fresh chai! My favorite is aalo paratha.

I had a plain praata with kidney beans which was small size no flavour I asked if they used fresh beans they said they did with the texture its definitely tinned kidney beans and miniature cup of milky tea £2 I requested cardamom in mine none was put in I wouldn't go back big dissapointment

Sher khan's food is all freshly cooked to order so it is always hot and delicious. The flavours from the parathas are incredible and the halwa puri is mind blowing. I really recommend sher khan for desi breakfast.

Visited with my father for desi breakfast today. The food was good but the highlight has to be the great hospitaity of the boy at the front named sarfaraz, He provided great customer service and convinced us to return again.

Went for breakfast the tables where dirty, so walked back out again.

Great desi breakfast . Quick service early in the morning . Had paratha, omelette & saag nashta . Very nice. Washed down with a couple of glasses of tea . Well worth a visit for nashta anytime . Will be my regular place for nashta when I'm around .

Definitely recommend a good simple traditional breakfast

saag was cold, with oil dripping out, daal was cold, with oil dripping out, (they could have poured the oil out before serving) katlama was rock hard, parata hardly had any fillings in. plus 3 vital item were missing, after I pacifically ordered them. worst experience.

Paratha was just love and the Tarhka daal won my heart! I was served within 5 mins. Just wish my chai was a bit stronger and cooked more! Only accept cash.

The service was great. Place was clean and tidy. The halwa puri breakfast was OK but the chana lacked spices and masala - very bland. The tea was not cooked to perfection. The omelette was delicious and the accompanying paratha was exquisite. The freshly squeezed orange juice was spot on. 6.8/10 overall.

I don not recommend this place at all. I took my family there and they kept staring at women non stop. They made me feel so uncomfortable and I left straightaway. Guys, do not take your family there. They all are dirty pervs! !
