Southern fried chicken in pressure cooker is juicy and full of flavour do great children meals lunch menu is great and food always hot n fresh use to live above it

Just been charged £5.10 yesterday for a jumbo sausage and a saveloy during “happy hour” Surely it should have been £3.80 at best Wow after 30 years it’s time to say bye bye

First time going here in a long time as I was passing. Paid £4.20 for a small sausage and chips. Honestly this place should he embarrassed must have been a handful of chips at most and the sausage was laughable I just wish I took a picture it was that criminal! Far better choices around and chip shops by country mile!

First time ordering from here. Always have issues with no salt and vinegar on takeaway chippies so I left a note to say “please put salt & vinegar on everything” and also specifying “salt & vinegar” when ordering. Have a guess folks? No salt and vinegar on any of the food. You’re a chip shop salt and vinegar goes on everything else it’s just bland. Don’t recommend and won’t be ordering again.

The chips are always disgusting The scolpops are soggy The curry sauce tastes lumpy Sometimes there efiod is alright

Just made my last every visit. Since this new guy has taken over the standard of the food has gone down and the cost has gone up, and now its gone up again. I'll give this place 6 months and it closes or he sells it on... I'm hoping for the latter

First ever order of fish and chips and onion rings..... Bit gutted no menu for pudding but never mind. Food was delivered fast and tasted beautiful so id deffo order again

Ordered over the phone, for delivery, and to pay cash. All went smooth, delivery man was polite, and food was lovely. Never tried this chippy before but will definitely become a regular.

Food isnt as nice as it used to be, everything seems over cooked and dry almost tasteless. The best thing ive had from there in a while is the curry sauce and that's unmatched 👌🏻 staff are hard of hearing too i think...

Food is nice but the portions are really small for the price not worth it will give them one more try

Just been and ordered fish cake large fish large chips result fish cake cold not sure what type of fish looks like a fish finger chips cold

We use Pat’s regularly as he is our local chippy. Extremely disappointing today. It was busy when we arrived and ordered large chips and salad. Chips were a regular at best, barely enough to serve 2 of us and salad was given in a paper bag that dissolved on the way home leaving my salad on the back seat of the car. Will be a while before we return. Shame as we have never encountered any issues before.

Web site still advertises old prices, mini fish like concrete, oil leaves bad after taste

Ordered a chicken donner, was served a mix. Ordered a mix meat and chips, got served just lamb. Supervisor overlooked both, seemed fine with not paying attention to what was actually doing served. Ended up paying for food I didn’t order.

Mixed meat wrap and chips was spot on! The wrap was huge and great to see they also had those thin pickled green peppers which are ace. Very friendly and helpful person that served me

Went here for the 1st time today , opened the food bk at home and found a burnt fist cake, proper charde on 1 side, disgusting, never going bk to this place, avoid this chippy..

They do amazing scallop burger I stop off and get one on my late shifts truly amazing

Just had the mushiest cone of chips. The cone was open so not like the chips had got steamy in a container or anything. They were hot, but really unapatising. Disappointed considering the chips are usually spot on. Waste of money, went in the bin and was on the verge of going back for a refund.

Was ok but I orderd online i orderd a cheese burger witch came with no salad just grated carrots I don't know who puts carrots on a burger but when I've been into to store my order was perfect

Pat's chippy is very good and all the staff are lovely and friendly. Very good service and plenty to choose from.

Driver was very polite and explained about the drinks which is Amazing. Rather than having a nasty surprise. The first time we have been there and it won't be the last. We loved the food. Came lovely and hot. Fresh and tastes amazing. The kids meals are a very good portion as well. I can't fault the company in any way shape or form. Deffo will recommend. And will be back soon to order more delicious food from them.

Lovely spicy chicken and chunky chips yum yum had some today Breast of chicken nice and spicy and brown yummy yummy . sister in law had a side breast she loved it.

Family run business and the staff are always polite and friendly. Food is good and very cost effective (2 pizzas for£11 etc). Would highly recommend.

Arrived late, stone cold and inedible. Not really surprising really as the driver had no means of keeping the food hot.

I will never eat from here again The services terrible & staff are very rude the salad had hair in Iv threw up due to uncooked food do not eat from this place unless u want food poisoning also, there’s a massive hole in the ceiling with water dripping out where customers que it’s a hazard, and the hygiene is atrocious.

Always had praise for here, lovely fish and chips, though last few times the chips have been rather greasy. Hope this is a minor blip. Friendly staff as always.

We've used this place a few times, never had an issue, food has always been spot on. Most recently, we had an order through Just Eat..... using this app, i had fully expected the food to be sub par, with the travel in the heat bag. I was happily wrong. It was as delicious as normal, and mouth blisteringly hot. It's nearly 10am on a Saturday, and in all honesty, i'm waiting for Pat's to open so i can go get some lunch!

Usually quite decent food with friendly staff. But the last few occasions I've been served burnt or old looking food, and a newer staff member there is rude. Unfortunately I will not go back there from now on.

Food was cooked perfectly, good size portions and fair price, girl on counter was polite and friendly. Will visit again!
