Bulls Head in Birmingham

Lovely lounge room that we hired on 31st January 2025. Sadly, it was for our grandsons funeral reception. The staff were very kind and set up the room perfectly. Would recommend and use again.

Quiet Monday- no food until Thurs

Used to drink here years ago but moved out the area it was busy but the music was too loud

Was at the bulls head recently and what a change the new managers have made. Staff polite and helpful nothing to much attitude 🙂 I have been running pubs/hotels/restaurants for 21 years all over the country and the welcome here was second to none the best in Birmingham Welldone all the team at the bulls head kings Norton

Been going to watch the Euros 2024 England matches! Sitting upstairs in the function room, plenty of space! Big TV, Bar up there & Chip Buttys at half time! Amazing atmosphere & all the staff are so friendly, and great with the children running around! Highly recommend!

First timers at a recent karaoke event at the Bulls Head. Must say, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The pub was very busy with a great atmosphere and many of the singers were exceptional. Will definitely be returning.

Visited a couple of weeks ago, but never again. Full of idiots, and Toilets were absolutely disgusting. Would definitely not recommend

Hired the small room for a private family get together., nice size. Down sides, toilets not very nice. One door opened onto smoking shelter, people using room as walk through.

We booked the private room upstairs for work Xmas party and had a lot of fun, the staff where very helpful and catered to our every need and andrew the manager was up to check on us and help where he could even though it was his night off, really enjoyed our night and plan on doing it again next year

Cosy bar, regulars or visiting. Decent prices.

Nice pub, good pool team and top lads.

I found the bull to be very nice, the lady serving was so nice and friendly, very happy and polite, we didn't eat we didn't have time, but will be going there again, the building its self is beautiful x

Always been a busy pub whenever I have been in.

Rude Bar Staff shouting to people across the pub instead of walking over and politely requesting. Attitude was appalling and had clients clearing up broken glass and mopping as they couldn’t be bothered awful pub.

Good pub only time will tell if it can survive now Wetherspoons has opened up near by

Standard basic pub, occasionally drink here. Staff are nice.

Good location and the food was good quality and fresh. Would definitely recommend it.

Had my sons Christening here a year ago, I've had MANY functions over the years and would highly recommend this place over any other! An absolutely lovely landlord and very nice facilities. Took my kids for food the other day as the car was in the garage, was disappointed to find that the new menu thats gone live on the website wasn't available because they hadn't got any of the stuff for it, but the bar staff did their best to sort us out even with a wake on in the back room, so we all left very happy and very full

My husband and I went on a Friday evening after to work to wind down after a busy week. We found that the pub was not welcoming at all. When we asked if we could use 2 seats vacant next to another table we were told someone was sitting there. Nobody sat in those seats for the time we were there. We were moved from the bar area because staff needed to put down a crate of dirty glasses. We stayed for one drink and left. Never to return!

Went to the Bulls Head because we couldn't get served at the Navigation and it turned out to be a good night service much better all the staff seemed much more customer orientated than the staff at the Navigation

This is a nice pub, the staff are lovely and there are plenty of places to sit. It can be quite noisy and rowdy on a weekend but there are far worse pubs for this in the area. It's not massively wheelchair friendly as there are a few awkward steps at the front and into the back bar. Generally the regulars will help hold doors and things like that if you're struggling and I think that says a lot about the kind of place it is.

Paul and the team were great and provided an ideal venue for my Mother’s funeral reception. The function room was warm and characterful with an excellent food selection and hot drinks. The bar staff were always kind and helpful too.

Lovely atmosphere, good service

We stopped by here today for a lunch. It was the worst food we have ever had in a pub. Tuna was straight from tin not mixed with Mayo. Slapped on a soggy baguette hardly any cheese. Served with a handful of cold chips. Cheese baguette was covered in pickle and soggy. Lasagne was best pick.

A great local pub with a lively environment. Clean and tidy apart from the men's toilets which like all pub toilets were somewhat unclean with no mirror. Cheap drinks and friendly bar staff, great for an evening out having a laugh.

Ordered chips and bread and butter half hour wait for chips the bread was like card board,the one staff was busy stuffing her face with crisps

Traditional pub. Very pleasant bar maid. Outside space behind the pub if you wish to smoke.

Dan's the man! During a busy weekend I was lost on my way to a bowls march and ended up in the Bulls Head car park adjacent to a disused bowling green. I went into the pub seeking directions and Dan behind the bar took the time to look up the venue on his phone and write down the post code for me. He even wished me 'good luck' in the match. I made it to the bowls club in the nick of time and gad a great afternoon, all thanks to Dan. Cheers mate!

I enjoyed a meal and drinks here recently. The lady who served me with long blonde hair and glasses was very friendly and efficient and took time to ensure my order was correct and that I was happy with my food. The food was of good quality and I would definitely eat here again. The place had a good atmosphere and the staff I encountered were friendly, polite and efficient.

A lovely pub in the heart of Kings Norton. A real hidden gem on a village green. Great food and drink with a friendly local pub atmosphere. Staff are very nice and eager to please, especially Danielle. She couldn't do enough to keep our party happy. We will definitely return next time we're in the area.

Great pub , Daniel, the assistant manager does a great job but then again all the staff are great .

We used the back room for our little girls' christening due to accessibility this was perfect being on one level. We were able to decorate it and move tables and chairs from very early on in the day, all staff were lovely and accommodating even down to what music we would prefer to have playing in the back ground. We will definitely be using the Bulls Head while Paul is manager, he is lovely and helped make the day really special.

Only had a cup of coffee each but building itself was a throw back to the 1950s era really good.The staircase is very old and regal too.Staff seemed a little disinterested but that might be a little unfair on one quick visit.Worth visiting for the building itself really interesting.

Lovely building, nice food, friendly customers in the lounge.. good veggie burger.. properly loaded nachos!

Always a friendly place and full of atmosphere. Unlike the usual boring wetherspoon down the way! Staff are friendly and helpful and the beer is well kept.. the manager always makes the you feel welcome. highly recommend.

Hired out the room above the pub for a christening. The manager Paul was very accommodating and the staff were very nice. Had a great day.

Had a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon party in the function room after a beautiful christening at St Nicolas's Church. the room was set out lovely by Paul and his staff and a special mention to the barmaid who served us she was a lovely girl; who couldn't do enough to help. a really pleasurable tine was had by all .

Had my mums surprise 50th party over the weekend at the Bulls Head. Paul was amazing from start to finish! The function room was decorated with Halloween decorations as our party was Halloween themed. The bar staff dressed up aswell! The buffet was delicious, DJ was good. Would recommend the Bulls Head 👌

My surprise 50th birthday last night was incredible! The function room is fab, decorated for halloween and had a warm friendly atmosphere. Pint of pedigree real ale was ok, dirty glass but otherwise clean and tidy.

Went there after my Aunt's funeral,made very welcome,when we arrived there were not many seats together but very quickly an area was sorted so we could all sit together,made the afternoon more special
