It's a village pub, everyone said hello when we walked in and we were made to feel welcome. Staff were very friendly & helpful & food was delicious. Fish & chips for him & steak risotto for me.....we will come back & bring our neighbours.

Sunday lunch at this diminutive establishment. Very enjoyable. Freshly made, nice and hot, tasty plus good Yorkshire puddings.

Been in many times, since the new owners took over and pleased with the decoration, I haven't eaten here yet, but hear good reports, the big downer for me and most of my friends is that even though the landlord promised and advertises craft ales, on the website, beers like Tribute and London Pride are not craft ales! There is a massive choice of lagers etc, so why not support craft ale producers/brewers? I see many locals in pubs not too far away that have craft beers available, so the EA is losing custom IMHO, I'm happy supporting my local and the pub do the same with local brewers please.

So we go out for a walk, having done 7.2 miles arrive at Eastcote Arms, closed, albeit web site states open at 12:00pm, apparently now 4pm on door. You can imagine our frustration, in need of a drink and something to eat. Owners please update all public and social media sites you have in future.

What a stunning little pub in an attractive village. We visited earlier popping in for a few drinks and could not believe how cozy the place was. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and attentive and service was good. There is a decent sized car park to the rear and a small pub garden too. Visited 4th June 2023

I haven’t been to this pub for about 15years. After a visit to friends who live locally we decided to pop up for a quick lunch. I wasn’t expecting much due to my memory of all those year ago but i can honestly say it’s the best pub lunch i have had in a long time. Traditional, home cooked, amazing wedges and a great selection of kids food. I had to try the STP as i am partial and i can say it’s up there with one of the best i have had. So nice to find a traditional country pub serving fresh home cooked food at affordable prices. We will be back

Popped in to the Eastcote Arms for a much needed ‘after work pint’ and ended up feeling peckish! So I ordered a pub staple, the burger and chips! The menu offered a bacon cheese burger with skin on chips. £8.95! Wasn’t expecting much at that price - something akin to a birds eye frozen patty and some all to common skin on chips. At £8.95 it had to be. But oh no, how wrong was I. My plate arrived with the sort of burger you get one of those ‘gastro pubs’ - the ones that charge £18 for a burger! A massive, handmade minced beef patty, made with fresh local beef, beautifully seasoned and grilled to perfection. Served on a soft bun, with cheese, mustard and ketchup, lettuce as well. The ‘skin on chips’ were actually hand cut potato wedges, cooked to a fluffy texture with that crispy jacket potato style skin. And loads of them- had to share with my gf! Ever been to something like 5 Guys? This was much better and supporting a local pub. The burger, washed down with local ale cost less than £14 in total.

The best pub lunch we have had in ages! We go out every month to pubs/garden centres in the NN12 location. Food was delicious, service excellent and lovely atmosphere. It ticked all the boxes with the 4 of us.

We were so glad to find the Eastcote Arms open for lunch on this drizzly Thursday walking in the countryside. The welcome was really warm and we thoroughly enjoyed the tomato and chilli soup followed by sticky toffee pudding. Both were truly delicious and powered us for the last few miles of our walk. I highly recommend this little gem!

Had a reasonable meal (food not freshly prepared) but, in the absence of a wine list, ordered a rioja expecting pub prices. Wine was alright (would pay £7 on line) but were charged £36!. Wouldn't go back for and average meal at rip off prices.

First time back at this former gem since it was taken over and I must say, it was a sad encounter. I have heard great reviews for their handmade pizzas so was looking forward to trying them out, apparently Thursdays are burger night (no social media announcements just a weak Microsoft word made poster on the wall) we didn't fancy a burger so asked if the main menu was available, the woman behind the bar stopped sipping her gin and tonic (yes really) and had to ask the chef if this was possible, a short time later she said it was but would need to print off menus for us..... odd. The menu arrived and I must admit, basic is a compliment, burger, mixed grill, bangers and mash, not much else. We asked for the pizza choice of the day to discover pizzas were not available, considering there was maybe 3 tables plus us eating I found it odd the chef couldn't rustle up a pizza, even to give him something to do on a very quiet Thursday. Struggling to choose from the basic menu, we reluctantly ended up having burgers. My partner went for the southern fried chicken burger and I opted for the burger of the day which was pork and apple. Both came with slaw and fries, we upgraded our fries to truffle oil and Parmesan fries. The food itself was good, the fries upgrade were sensational! Burgers were good and flavourful but I did struggle to taste any apple in mine so really a posh sausage sandwich. Burger of the day meal came with a drink which for me was a flat pint of San Miguel. Food and drink wise I'd say this is an okay place but what really turned us off was the awful choice of music that was frequently being changed mid song, played far too loudly so conversation was strained and the three women behind the bar were far more interested in drinking gin and nattering in the corner leaving customers waiting to be served. Not the best and it's a shame as previous owners and staff (Ben) were sensational! A pint here, yes. An evening here, no.

Very impressed by the lunch we have just eaten. Tender pork & turkey, rich cauliflower cheese, veg cooked al dente. Good choice of beers & desserts. Very rarely eat out as we enjoy cooking at home but this was spot on. Thank you chef & waiting staff.

I hadn’t been to The Eastcote Arms for years, and wow, what a transformation! It’s had a makeover and now offers a calm and inviting interior to dine. The food was excellent! We enjoyed dishes from the specials menu, arancini balls, pan fried salmon with gratin dauphinois and green beans, and the burgers on the main menu were good too. Tiramisu for dessert was delicious! We will definitely return.

Fabulous wonderful friendly pub, made most welcome from the moment I stepped across the threshold, very good beer from real ale to ciders to lagers to wine,(though I personally don't drink the latter) My third visit I found, as I had been told, just how good the food is too, not overpriced either. A simple Burger and Chips may not sound impressive but it can and has been poorly done by others, attention to detail for example the quality of the patty and of the bread marked this apart, skinny chips were lovely too (and not pre-salted as seems to be the fashion these days) It was simply lip smacking and a little messy (on the face) just as a good burger should be. Attentive staff pleasant and polite with knowledge makes this a must visit place. I personally walked there, the whole area is stunning walking fodder https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g6028168-d23412041-r792339799-Eastcote_Arms-Eastcote_Towcester_Northamptonshire_England.html#
