Got to agree there with Jennifer carter, amazing nite as always. Thanks Stan Pete and Leah, high 5 to the bar staff who go above and beyond for you, especially the young lads big smiles on their face as you approach the bar lovely team. ☺️☺️

Awful choice of beer upstairs in function room Asked what real ale they had available and barman laughed at me and asked “what’s that”.. surely any basic Barman training would cover real ale brands within the pub Myself, fiance and step dad had to go downstairs to buy real ale as the choice upstairs was appalling and they wouldn’t count it towards the overall spend of the bar upstairs. Sort the availability of the choice in the upstairs function room and the basic spend will be met Can’t believe I was laughed at for asking what real ale was. Appalling, disappointing and rude customer service

This pub is OK, but it could be si much better. The staff were really nice but tended to gravitate to one side of the bar. With what appeared to be the regular customers. Which is great when no one else needs serving. I noticed that a few older ladies had to walk all the way round the bar from a back room in order to get served and then back again with full glasses. This could have been prevented if the bar staff actively checked the whole bar and not just where they are standing or at least offer to serve the drinks at the other side of the bar so they didn't have to carry them back again. It feels abit intimidating when you first walk in because people(customers) just stare at you without looking away, maybe it would be easier if the staff just said hello to ease this because once you are in it really is a really nice place. Down to earth and enjoyable.

Nice friendly vibe to this pub, bar staff are great, atomsphere is sound, they have numerous tvs for live sport aswell. Also dog friendly!

Great pub ! I've not long moved to the area and have been meaning to pop in ! We went last night for my birthday drinks where there was a great singer on and a great atmosphere ! The Owner/Manager spoke to us where I learnt the pub was dog friendly! We will definitely be back again. Thanks for a great night

Called in on a monday, in the middle of a noisey bingo session. The clients were friendly, didn't stay long.

Very good. Staff are friendly. Went for England game. Easily booked and not busy. Good selection of draught. Not 'loads' of spirits available, and in my opinion the whiskey is overpriced.

I have just moved back to the area and found it ideal for a quiet lunchtime pint. A good pint of Guinness at a reasonable price and although I did not eat this time, they offered a decent food menu I have found my new local.

Great food, we had the hot rump steak baguette with home made gravy and chips, absolutely gorgeous food and even better service

Had the food tonight during the England game, the food came quick and tatsed absolutely delicious! The wings had loads of meat and the burgers were amazing. Highly recommended!

Good decent pub, lovely interior, staff are polite and friendly, starting to get a decent range of gins and beers rather than just the standard carling or Gordon's. Entertainment on weekly something for everyone. New management really putting their stamp on the place.

Arrived at midday, stayed till 4pm lively in a pleasant way. Cheap ale.

Gone down hill from the time I new it. When it was a quality pub.i am told there is a new manager so hope they can get it a better place to visit.

A nice pub in the heart of Upton Village. It offers a good range of beverages from real ale to wines and ciders. There is often live entertainment particularly at weekends. The furnishings do look a little tired however.

Pretty basic. We were waiting for a restaurant to open on a cold day so we called in to the Eagle and Crown to have a drink in the warm. Fairly large pub with three TV screens all showing horse racing. A few blokes sitting around with beers. I don't know if they do food, but didn't see any sign of it. I fancied a J2O, but they didn't have any. No orange juice either. I settled for a coke in the end, but they didn't have anything that my wife wanted. Nice barmaid. It felt like a pub from the past.
