What a fabulous find this this place was. I’m down here on business; I live in Birmingham and have very high standards when it comes to curry. This place is amazing and the food is unbelievable and they even cooked me a special dish off the menu to my exact taste. Now for the staff they are just so lovely. 👍can’t wait to return

Food took over an hour to arrive which was not good given we started past 9pm and were pretty much the only customers. One order appeared to have been missed by mistake but was promptly remedied one we advised. Food was good, drinks available were varied. I’d recommend the draught Cobra over the bottled Bangra. Prices were average. Would we go again, probably but will also enjoy the local competition which we know are good

We decided to come here on Friday night. We booked just a few minutes in advance, although there were some empty tables. We started with some Papadoms, as always, which includes four different sauces. I also had a Mango Lassi, which was delicious. Then, the owner recommended me a hot dish with lamb, which was superb. My wife had the Chicken Korma, which she said it was very tasty. We accompanied the dishes with some rice and lentils. I would definitely recommend this family restaurant. The service is very friendly and attentive.

Offered different versions of several dishes to accommodate vegan and vegetarian options. Vegan onion bhaji were sublime. Highly recommended. Best Indian meal I’ve had in a long time. Gorgeous.

New favourite Indian - and boy, we're not short on choice around here. This time we ordered a takeway, but we will be visiting the restaurant for sure next time. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a big order so included a mix of meat, prawn and vegetarian dishes. Pretty much all the vegetarian dishes were vegan (perfect for me). The person I spoke to on the phone (when I placed the order), was great at telling me where they were using vegan butter, and therefore which dishes I could eat. That included every vegetarian dish except the garlic nan - which was fine, as I had so much else to choose from. I rarely rave about a vegetable curry - but the vegetable balti madras I had was delicious. And so was the brinjal bhaji, and the saag aloo, and the ... :)

Was walking pass E Four after work & thought i would give it a try! I must say this restaurant is a real hidden Gem in chingford. Warm , welcoming, and the food is GREAT! Mariam was lovely , interacted with us , made us feel right at home . Thanks again , we will be back .

Went for a girls evening. Food was perfect lots of options for gluten free. Table service was brilliant- Mariam was friendly and very accommodating. Perfect evening out!

We always choose E4 when we are in Chingford. The food is always superb and and the service wonderful. This meal tonight was no exception and we always get a wonderful welcome by this family run restaurant.

Excellent meal. Everything that I ordered was faultless. Main chicken dish that was recommended was naga fiery hot, just how I like it. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would recommend without question.

If you're looking for the best indian food around look no further!! The food is just excellent and the waitress is the friendliest I have ever met. I had the best dinner in a long long time yesterday evening in this restaurant, I will definitely go back, great for couples, family or group of friends.

Ever since I discovered this little gem way back when I have been sure to come back whenever I can, simply because, whenever I do, I feel so welcomed it's like greeting friends. Mariam is the one of the most approachable and loveliest staff members I have ever had the pleasure of knowing; the same applies to the delivery driver, Monir, who is also so genuinely kind-hearted.

We popped in last minute, as we were in the area on a trip with friends. TA recommended we visit, so we took the advice.Really glad we did, the food is great. We asked for recommendations, and were given new to try. The only issue was the recommendations weren't the best to our taste, no bother though.Don't get a naan to share as they are small.

I recently visited the restaurant with my girlfriend and we both were delighted about the qualitiy of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Mariam, who was our waitress, was very helpful in making us order the perfect meal for our taste. We will definitely come back one day !

So I'm not usually a fan of "fusion" but this place as amazing. My Grandpa took my Dad and me here for dinner last night and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food superb, the staff were brilliant and made suggestions and conversation with us all evening. Could not fault this place!

The staff are very friendly and helpful even though I stuck with my usual choice. I was surprised how quiet the restaurant was for a Saturday night but we get full service as a result and the food was prompt, tasty and incredibly filling. One to go back to!

I recently went to E Four with a friend having been lured by it's rather incredible review status on Tripadvisor. Its seems to have never ducked below an average review. Even Jashan curry house in Turnpike lane (which used to supply Harrods with it's sauces) and Rasa in Stoke Newington can't claim to have not had those boxes ticked on a couple of occasions and these serve arguably some of the best Indian food in London. The E-Four restaurant was totally empty when we went in the evening which should have rung alarm bells given it was 7.30pm but the staff were helpful and chatty and myself and a friend were guided through the different curries on the menu. On their recommendation We ordered two contrasting curries to share. One which she said was heavy on the spice, the other creamier and lighter. When we got home and unveiled our curries. One was a bright red colour and the other a light brown. Two very different looking curries. Or so we thought. Half way through the meal my friend said "have you noticed what they've done?".... They were the same curry with food colouring to make them look different. We did blindfold tests. No difference. Exactly the same. Just one had red food colouring and one didn't. Same amount of onions, same chicken, texture, taste. No spice. EXACTLY the same. We greed, the curry was below average at best. But the trick of disguising one curry as another to keep your costs down by effectively only making one curry, well that's poor. Very poor. So go ahead and order 2 contrasting curries. But don't be surprised if only one comes, with half of it masquerading as a very different looking one. Similarly, just because you read 71 gobsmakingly good, contrasting reviews written by different looking people on tripadvisor...

Called in with family on a quiet weekday afternoon. The owners couldnt be more friendly and were especially good with the young children in our party. made us feel totally welcome and the food was great too. The owners babysat while we enjoyed the curry! Perfect!

After my first experience with this restaurant, how could I not come back? I've been back many times since, and this time round didn't disappoint either as I had a very warm welcome from Mariam as I walked through the door which was nice, and it was good to be back, as I've only been getting deliveries for the last few times that I've ordered. Consistently friendly service throughout. The staff very helpfully, recommended some dishes, I had a mushroom rice and a garlic chilli chicken, which was just absolutely amazing. Value for food was worth every penny as the portions were perfect.Always coming back for more.

One of the many restaurants down Station Road, it seems Indian might not be the food of choice down that neck of the woods, as it always seems to be fairly empty in there.That’s a bit of a shame as the food was pretty good, and it’s an okay sized restaurant so has potential to be a lively place.I had a chicken chat starter and Lamb Tikka Balti for main with Keema rice.Decent sized portions, and the cobra was kept flowing by the waiters which is always a plus.Good service, but you’d expect this on a quiet night.Very good value for money.

I moved to Chingford a couple of months ago and decided to go and check out a local Indian restaurant last night with some friends who were visiting. E Four had very good reviews online so decided to go there and we weren't disappointed. As so many of the other reviews say, the owners are absolutely lovely and welcoming and after asking about our tastes and preferences recommended dishes for each of us. All 3 of us were really happy with those recommendations and all of the food was really tasty. I'll definitely be returning!!

We decided to make the admittedly longer journey out to Chingford to try E-Four due to it's high tripadvisor reviews and in the main were not disappointed just it isn't really to our taste. As a starting point I am not certain with what food type the fusion of this restaurant is, as it seems to be a fairly standard Indian menu but that's not a negative just a confusing note.First off the decor is like the way our parents decorated their dining room in the 80's and although having a kind of homely feeling is now looking tired and not really our expectation on dining out. I think indian restaurants have two choices of either going retro 70's flock wallpaper or modern and stylish - this in between was slightly jarring for us. The music playing really isn't very important but the night we went seemed to be movie themes from the 80's so at least in keeping.Wine was one of our favorite Sauvignon Blanc's at a reasonable if not amazing price - we have seen much lower mark ups at other places but this might be local market defining the price and we don't mind paying for something good. Our starters of king prawn puri and home style onion baji were both ok but for us lacked flavor - there was certainly a spice but one dimensional and not as tasty as we would hope for - the mint yoghurt was also a little sweet for our tastes. The main courses of chicken tikka jalfrezi and green tikka lamb were both ok, plenty of meat and some good flavors but again there wasn't quite the depth we were hoping for. The naans we had were unusual with the keema being a bit under cooked and soggy and the garlic being almost like a pizza base it was so crispy.The service is where this place truly shines as it is clearly a family affair with the lady taking our orders and chatting to us providing one of the most friendly experiences we have had. And the gentleman coming out of the kitchen to check things were ok another nice touch. What it lacked in a slight dull edge to professionalism was more than made up for with the warmth and homeliness feeling.To sum up if you are looking for a home cooking experience with decor and atmosphere to match E-four is fine. The food is not bad it's just not great and coupled with the odd feel to the place we are glad we tried but will stick to our favorite rather than trekking out again.

Huge variety of dishes.... it was so hard to choose but every dish we ordered was very yummy. We all finished our food.The garlic naans were just perfect, we kept ordering one after another.Merium was absolutely lovely and attentive.

The lady who took our order was very polite and helpful, she even telephoned back to check part of our order. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Chingford, and so I decided to make a booking there. From the moment the phone was picked up, I was warmly greeted by a lovely lady who kindly arranged a booking at short notice, and when we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome that set the atmosphere of the evening. The hosts were extremely helpful in helping us decide what to order, and while we were waiting for our food, we were served popadums (which were very addicting, I might add!) and drinks also. The service of the food was quick and the it looked absolutely delicious and tasted even more delightful, definitely the best I've had in a long time. The service was friendly and excellent, and I will definitely come back again. E-Four has found itself a new regular!

We had chicken tikka biryani, lamb rogan and garlic chilli chicken and all those dishes were great. The place is tastefully decorated, relaxed and not too loud music played in the background. Nice environment to spend evening with friends. We didn't wait long for a food. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

E4 Indian Fusion is by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to, it's head and shoulders above the rest. All the staff and chefs listen and note every particular way or manner in which a customer may want a particular dish and deliver it to the table, exactly how the customer asked, no matter how many people are in the restaurant.Customer service is second to none and great value for money.YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED.

There are four Indian restaurants nearby, and to be honest we use one of the others mainly, and didn't think it could be beaten...A friend asked me for advice on who may deliver , and our regular one doesn't...He told me he had the most amazing meal, so last night I had to check it out for myself.The couple who own the restaurant welcome you like old friends, which was nice. Very friendly.The restaurant itself is bright, clean , and modern. Quiet background music.Well laid out menu with lots of choice and specialsBottle of South African pinotage at £16.95 was fair . Nothing fancy just smooth easy drinking.Portions were a really good size, my wife took half of hers home as couldn't finish it.Flavours were delicious, lamb was tender.Really couldn't fault anything.Will definitely be back. Might have to alternate with our other one :)

We what can I say. Me and the wife ordered a delivery from here tonight and from the moment they answered the phone everything was perfect. The kind lady on the end of the phone listened to all my questions and recommended a dish that I would like including the level of spice. We ordered a chicken tikka masala along with a chicken dish that was made to my tastes, along with a few extra dishes and rice this is probably the best Indian take away I have tasted. So much so that I had to ring them again to let them know. Cannot recommend them enough and will not go anywhere else now. *****

The food is the best Indian food I have ever had (and I have tried quite a few) the prices are more than reasonable, the quality fantastic! The best thing about this restaurant is with out a doubt the owners and staff! Never before have I meet people so willing to help! Not concerned on how much you spend but what your actual tastes are and will go out of your way to accommodate that! They are also so incredibly friendly and welcoming I used to use a different Indian in the area but it's E4 Indian infusion for me from now on! The only reason atmosphere was rated 4 was because it was a quiet night on a cold quiet night of the year! I was staying at the local Premier Inn with some colleagues for a few days this week, and having tried the food there a couple of nights we thought it might be worth venturing out to see what else Chingford had to offer. We had looked at reviews of E-Four fusion on tripadvisor so headed there. It was fairly empty which sometimes can be off-putting, but considering the reviews we had read we went in. The service was extremely good, we had poppadums and beer within minutes of being shown to a table. The lady owner was on hand to explain the dishes on the extensive menu and guide our choices (which we were all very happy with). Portions are generous and the food very tasty. Would definately visit again if in the area.
