Dworska Polish Cuisine in Gloucester

We've been there tonight and I have to admit the food is great . Daughter had a 5* fish , wife pork medallions and myself farmer's pizza which is massive!! Amazing time and atmosphere , lovely staff. Wandered in with some mates looking for a nicely priced local spot to eat and wow. We were made to feel like members of the family right away. None of us can speak a (polite) word of Polish and that did not matter one bit. Highlights for me are excitedly being shown their brilliant Strawberry And Gooseberry Kompot, the wonderful Pierogi and the frankly stunning size of their main portions. The Polish Burger in particular is bigger than my head! Makes me wish I lived closer honestly!

The food itself wasn't bad, unfortunately the staff had no idea what they were doing and caused such terrible chaos. The soup and the second course were brought at the same time, we received the wrong dish and dirty cutlery. Baby pizza dripping with grease. I think we need someone to lead the team because we can see the potential.

The food was quite good, but the tables were not cleaned at all, I had to clean the cigarette ashes from the table myself. It's better not to talk about the cleanliness of the floor...

Portions too large and dishes too fatty, unfortunately. I also didn't like the interior design and the way of serving... It's a pity, because I love Polish cuisine... We came back after three years and it was a positive surprise. The food was good, home-made, which I would recommend to everyone.

Schabowy miał być smazony na smalcu. Ewidentnie było czuć ochydny olej. Pierogi bardzo słabe bez smaku. Kiedyś jedzenie było dużo lepsze. Salatka też słaba, bardzo mdła. Ziemniaki jakby nie dzisiejsze. Olej z pierogów rozlany po wszystkim.

We went for a family meal today. Never in my life I was waiting so long for food. We was told that there will be about 30mins wait (fine with us).30mins gone… nothing , hour later nothing, 1.5hrs later we was about to leave but we finally had our food served. One family left before us as they been waiting over an hour for their food , I didn’t like the way the waitress spoke to them „it’s not Mc’Donalds” I understand it’s not mcdonalds but you don’t wait nearly 2hrs for food. It was only a pork chop and chips it doesn’t take ages to do it. Food didn’t look pleasant, chips was overcooked. Pork chop was okey. We paid over 40£ for food that wasn’t worth it. We are not comming back for sure.

ATTENTION SCAMMERS!!! SCAM ALLERT I have ordered from this place 3 times. Twice I waited for payment confirmation for at least 40 minutes, fearing for the money, but in the end everything was fine. But this time the owners said that he was playing ball with customers. According to all information available on the Internet, the restaurant is open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. We placed the order around 6 p.m. yesterday. We waited 2 hours for payment confirmation (they took the money from the account but did not say whether the order would arrive. We called the restaurant from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. but no one answered. The next day, from 1 p.m., we also called the restaurant and they continued to harass us. Currently, no we have neither money nor pizza. I strongly advise against it. I am disappointed that my compatriots turned out to be such frauds. Owner, have the honor, give us the money, call back the number that has been calling you non-stop for two days.

Went early on a Friday evening last month and really enjoyed the food! Big portions and really tasty. Had some good Polish beers available too. Service was great too, can't fault them.

Online order said 15 mins, took our money, then changed to an hour wait. I went to get my money back. Not a single customer in the restaurant. Owners were smoking out front and ignored me. I asked for my money back. They had the order receipt in front of them and then said they would cook it right away. They simply couldn't be bothered to cook my order any sooner. Food was average and expensive. Definitely won't go back.

I like the new look and I love the food. This place has a massive potential- highly recommended if hungry or just want to eat something good or different- Polish cousin served here .

Great food, friendly staff, big portions. Never got round to visiting the previous venue on Barton Street, but this relocation to Longsmith Street looks to be a winner, lovely building to eat in. As a 1st timer when it comes to visiting a Polish restaurant in the UK, I’m impressed and will be back.

Zamawialiśmy dzisiaj 2 raz za pierwszym razem pizza byla okej bez szału. Dzisiaj po czekaniu 2 godziny i 20 minut na swoje zamówienie gdzie nie dostaliśmy wcześniej rozmawiając przez telefon żadnej informacji o takim czasie oczekiwania jedzenie które przyjechało nie miało kompletnie smaku, frytki wątkie oraz zimne schabowy suchy a rosół smakował jak woda z makaronem i marchewka. Przepraszam bardzo ale płacąc takie ceny to oczekuje się raczej czegoś smacznego oraz swierzego. Nie polecam.

Daje tylko jedna gwiazdkę. Dlaczego? Bo po przejściu 1,5 km do tej restauracji okazało się, że tego dnia nie jest czynne. Na waszej stronie nie było żadnych informacji. Mam nadzieję, że poprawicie jakoś usług.

Jedzenie bardzo smaczne i dobry kontakt z właścicielką. Zamówiliśmy catering na rodzinny obiad w domu, wszystko przyjechało gorące i na czas! Dogadaliśmy też opcje weganskie i wypadły wyśmienicie. Porcje ogromne, więc po wszystkim nie musiałam gotować jeszcze przez trzy dni! 😜 Gorąco polecam! 🙂

We just went there as a stop off after a festival on our way back to Scotland. The food was all really tasty and the salads were so fresh and bright. Such a welcoming place. I had the "Peasant's Pork Chop" this comes with fries, bacon, gherkins and egg as well as two kinds of salad. My partner had the Chicken Schnitzel. We both enjoyed our meals very much and the lady that served us was polite and attentive.

Wow, I am very fussy when it comes to pizza and I have been so disappointed and only have one regular place. Me and my husband would try this and I was skeptical about the pizza. But I am so impressed the pizza is so delicious not to mention the portion sizes are huge! Bit pricey but that food will last you for days. The schnitzel was nice and largest pizza I ever had. We wanted to cancel because the time frame was to long but they sent it straight away as we called. The food was well stored in foil to keep it hot and fresh. Friendly driver. Highly recommend this place !

A big thank you to all the lovely staff at this wonderful restaurant. I visited yesterday and had a delicious plate of Ruskie Pierogi - Polish style dumplings with a cheese filling. Fantastic food and friendly staff, I highly recommend you visit. I hope I can return soon.

We ordered Chicken Kiev and the ham/cheese Schnitzel both were hearty size portions. I opted for potatoes instead of chips, which were wonderfully smooth and creamy topped with fresh dill which was divine! We will be back to try other tasty items from the menu!
