The restaurant serves quickly, the food is delicious, the staff is extremely cute, and the decoration style is very unique!

The food was nicely cooked, the place has a lovely warm casual atmosphere, with a modern stylish interior design but, for me, what makes this place is the service which was superb! You can pump a great design into a place serve great beer and the best food but if the service isn't good you still leave with a less than satisfied taste. So again I applaud the team who made this a great experience and I will definitely return and recommend it to my guests.

It was busy so I had to sit upstairs but the steak I had was fantastic and staff were really good really enjoyed it

We had the Beer Masterclass with the local brewer Chris and he did an amazing job we learned a lot about brewing beer and also laught a lot with him !

The masterclass with Chris was perfect time with my colleagues. I only can recommend this to everyone 😎🍻

Food is incredible. we were served by Robin who was amazing she is so friendly, smiley and nothing was too much trouble for her. All staff we encountered were so lovely such a good team.

Great quality and tasty food. My husband loved the ale tasting menu. All staff were great but a little shout out to the service we had from Jojo when we visited on Friday 30th August. Can't believe we haven't been here before and we will definitely be back!

JoJo served us at Brewhouse. She has great knowledge of the beers and food. The beers were varied and poured well. The food crispy, hot and tasty. The chicken spicy and meaty. What more could you want. Conversation was easy and lighting relaxing.

Service was good, the food was disappointing, Iberico ham croquettes were without ham, the salt and pepper calamari lacked salt and pepper and the burgers were very lack lustre, special burger was beef chuck and rib with bang bang chicken, the patty was the size of a Maccy’s 99p job and the chicken piece in it was the size of a nugget!! With no bang!! Shame as we have eaten here before and really enjoyed it!!

Good variety of drinks and beers only let down by the fact that the cocktails are pre-made. When you're spending £9.50 and more for a cocktail you really want it made freshly in front of you and not poured out of a container. That said the bar service was good and the staff attentive and friendly.

Bought my four year son the mezze off the kid’s menu. The BBQ Sauce was packed with chilli and burnt his throat. No warning of heat on the menu or by the servers. Plain stupid.

Excellent Brewery Experience Day!! Chris was very knowledgable and an all round great host! We had an in depth guide to brewing with hands on experience! Bacon roll was fantastic and the lunch choices suited all preferences!! Thoroughly recommend!! Best Xmas gift ever!!

Recieved a brewery experience day as a Christmas present, not knowing what to expect from the day we decided to book it for today in the late summer. I have to say that the day has absolutely flown by, we have been very well looked after by Chris, he is very knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. We were welcomed with a coffee and bacon roll (delicious) and then not long after our first beer! After a few mashing sessions, sparging and boiling we then had the included lunch. Again was lovely. Few more beers in the afternoon whilst transferring and getting the yeast ready. All in all an excellent day, a 5l keg to take home and a wealth of knowledge from Chris.

The bar is okay. Staff are friendly good range of beers. We went on a saturday afternoon. Outside seating at a good location. The live singer was good but the decibel level a little high,it kinda ruins the ambience of the place. If the music was toned down just a little it would really accompany the aesthetic but sadly its so loud you can barely have a conversation or pick to sit further away. Overall was good. Didnt eat any of the food so cant comment. Only 2 ciders to pick from. Which was a little disappointing considering the amount of ales ,lagers on offer. But the cornish orchard was okay to drink. Still in the area didnt feel it offered anything that weatherspoon's doesnt and at a lower price.

Very dissapointing experience overall, our waitress was very pushy and lingered over us as we were trying to decide on drinks/food after being sat for about 2 minutes. I ordered the beer tasting board and asked for a surprise selection but was given the standered 6 they give on the board, my partner ordered a "cocktail" which was just rum and pineapple juice. Food was a solid 2 at a push, ordered a rare steak which was medium, foccacia was so overcooked I could have used it as a door stop, my partner had a burger that was bland and boring. Kitchen staff were a bunch of kids on a jolly not taking their jobs very seriously and the food was reflected in this. Would not recommend you're better off going to spoons, same quality food for a fraction of the price

Fantastic lunch at Brewhouse and Kitchen. Team lunch, so 14 of us descended on the B&K and Bernie and the team great care of us. Drinks soon on the table and food orders taken. Freshly baked Focaccia, Padron peppers and fantastic nachos to start, all of which were served fresh and hot, with mains from Chicken clubs to steaks. The service was excellent all round. Would very much recommend.

My experience was lovely. I got the bacon jam cheeseburger, which I loved. My waitress, Gracie, was attentive and efficient toward both my family's and my own orders.

We did the whiskey and beer pairing (as it was bought for us as a gift) and it was brilliant! Great fund and tried whiskey and beer I didn’t know! Amber (our host) was superb and lots of fun and knowledgeable!! Brilliant evening and would highly recommend!

Awful staff. Messed up my other half's order, delivering something more than twice as expensive as what he'd asked for (and had physically pointed at on the menu). We'd already waited the best part of an hour for this, so we offered to just eat it if they only charged us the price of the original dish. Head waitress immediately refused, took it away, and said the original dish would be out soon. When I caught her attention to let her know that my dish would be cold by then, she said it would taste good hot or cold, then left before I could say another word. We persevered, thinking they'd maybe offer a free dessert or knock some money off, but they kept their distance from us the whole time, occasionally pointing over in our direction, which was extremely uncomfortable (I assume someone was getting blamed for the mix-up, instead of just focusing on a solution to resolve our dining experience). After a painfully long wait for what was supposed to be a simple lunch, we just wanted out of there, so we asked for the bill, and not only did they not knock any money off for the horrendous service, but they added a service charge! Awful. Avoid like the plague.

We booked for a table of 10 only 2 hours before we needed it. Staff were lovely and the food hot and delicious. Service was done with a smile and nothing was too much. We like it here, they do a great job.

Kids halloumi meal wasn't great. 2 thin strips if overcooked halloumi that were inedible for our 9 year old. So he had just the chips and peas. The adult main courses were fine. Good beers and atmosphere apart from the wafts of cigarette smoke from the tables outside.

Great looking bar, busy with a good vibe. Got told at ordering 30 minute wait which wasn't a problem. Tried several beers which were very good. Food unfortunately took 55 minutes, and was disappointing. I ordered cheeseburger but was served spicy bacon jam burgers. Side of onion rings were very overcooked. No one checked back and little point in complaining given it'd be another hour for the correction. Just glad I wasn't allergic or something!

July 14 poofball day For some strange reason no roast on sunday lazy and easy cleandown maybe .laughter came my way as chef cannot take fries of a meal and change chunky same i chose. And sadlay you still keep to cold so we took drink and left !Dear but nice Only problem ale n stout served way to cold

Don't eat here (they cant muck up a drinks order can they?). Where do I start, went in on a Saturday evening, over 2.5 hours before our show was due to start. Was quite busy. All of the sizeable range of lagers bar two were unavailable. Sent back my dry unappetising burger without touching it, and did not request a replacement, as it was getting close to the time we needed to leave for the movie. Honestly Mcdonalds would have been better, at £5 compared to £17 for my burger. When we were due to pay no receipt was provided, when requested we realised the burger hadnt been taken off, service charges had automatically been applied (only 3 of us). Left over 2.5 hours later fortunately the adverts were still running. Never again. I dont think they care really, seen the same sorts of review comments going back years.

Never had a bad meal here, food is always so nice, service is great, lovely atmosphere and love the tunes played to! :D Thanks guys for being consistently good!! So hard to find these days! <3

I booked a workplace spot yesterday which is £10 for wifi, unlimited tea / coffee and a sandwich at lunchtime and I arrived at opening time 11am. All I can say is, they looked after me superbly, especially the manager who greeted me not long after I arrived. I was pointed in the direction of a quiet spot with power on the mezzanine level which actually had no-one else there all day (see pic). The background music could potentially get in the way of calls, but I enjoyed the music and Zoom seemed to filter it all out well anyway. I had a large pot of tea that provided 3 cups each time and was regularly asked if there was anything else I wanted, if I wanted more tea etc. I'd definitely recommend the place if you need to work remotely for the day near the Quays.

Great freshly brewed Best Bitter, paired with amazing fish and chips, served by the very attentive JoJo. We will be back daily during our stay in Gloucester.

We love coming here. This was our 3rd visit and it's as good as ever. Great staff, so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Be proud of yourselves! Always a good view out of the window as well and of course the beer! Plenty of real ales to choose from from all over the world.

Fantastic pub! Excellent selection of beers. We ordered burgers, which were lovely. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean toilets. Outdoor seating to sit and watch the boats go by.

We are regular visitors to Gloucester Brewhouse & Kitchen, beautiful location, great selection of drinks, with beers made on site by Chris the brewer, who is very knowledgeable and passionate and a credit to B&K. We went in on Wednesday just for drinks, served by Rowan, who again like Chris, friendly and welcoming and always happy to help

£17 for a Sunday roast. It's very like a supermarket frozen readymeal. Other food not much better. This is a place to drink, excellent beers, but do not eat here!

I rang and spoke to Bernie to book a table and she was most welcoming and efficient. On the day our host was Bernie again , she welcomed the whole party and made us all feel very much at home and well looked after . The ordering was effective and quick and the chef didn’t hang about either , we were soon enjoying our lunch . Bernie was attentive and made sure we all enjoyed our food, which we did, all clean plates. When it was time to settle our bill Bernie remembered everyone’s food and drink order , most impressive. I cannot thank the team enough for making our lunch time so enjoyable. When we return to Gloucester there’s only one place to eat. Thanks team.

First visit. Did not eat but what was being served looked good , will try on our next trip from Germany.Good selection of beers and ciders plus wine. Really liked Jamacian stout. Friends drank red and white wine which they said was good( how about some English wines can recommendChapel Down from Kent). Lovely atmosphere loved the table with the fire and also the bottle tree hanging bottle tree. Thanks to staff very attentative and knowledgeable. Thank you Amber and the other girls. DONT MISS ITy. We had not booked but the lovely staff member found us a table on a busy Saturday night. Drinks were delicious and atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended

We went to try the new menu on Friday 26th April. We go to B&K in Gloucester fairly regularly, especially after a visit to the Cinema nearby, for a meal and drinks. It was very busy and were told our food would take about 30 minutes. This was fine and we were happy to have been informed, so we could go elsewhere if that was too long. We ordered the new steak and ale pie and chicken schinzel. To our surprise, our meals arrived after only 10 minutes! This seemed great initially, but my the pastry on my wife's pie was very undercooked - soggy throughout, and the mash was hard and lumpy. The coating on my chicken was also underdone and very sloppy rather than crisp. This was the first bad meal we've had at B&K and we will likely come back, but I wanted to give you feedback. It was very busy there at the time and I think the kitchen just tried to rush or meal a bit. Regards, Nick

We went last night for a 70th birthday meal. There were 9 of us and 2 children so obviously spent quite a lot on food and drink! One meal was cold and had to be sent back ( which was resolved quite quickly) another was a steak meal which was very fatty! One server stood by kitchen hatch detangling the knots in her hair which was falling out all over the place😳 we did mention this and it was dealt with but after that two members of staff were walking around us with angry faces (one was apparently the manager! ) Not a place I would return too!

We enjoyed a lovely rib fillet, chips and a small salad. Prosecco was also good

The beer was good, the food was good and the staff were great! Everyone was very attentive and not having to get up to get a beer seemed very civilised. I felt like I was in a holiday bar. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in Gloucester.

Food taste, 10/10, was lush, only gripe was the tiny size of the mac and cheese. Update: server was a little odd. Looked more like a customer than staff. Shabbily dressed

Great pub within a brewery. Decent beer but at around £6.50 a pint it's not the cheapest. Nice location by the water.

Food for price was not to what I would expect. Staff were not very good and unprofessional apart from 1 lady who was very good. Chef wouldn't substitute potato products which I found very strange as the option wanted would have been cheaper for them.

The bar lady is wonderful and knowledgeable. Happy to provide samples and a wealth of knowledge. Best place in the quays IMHO

This is a lovely space with a lovely atmosphere, the staff were very efficient and friendly. Unfortunately though, we came for a Sunday roast and although the vegetables were good, the meat was really very tough, difficult to cut and very hard work to chew. In fact some of us gave up. This was true of the beef and the pork and applied to 4 members of our party's meals. The rest of our group ordered from the main menu and their food was good.

Popped in for a quick couple and really enjoyed the quality of the ales on offer. A delicious malty aroma pervaded from the brewing plant. The background music would be a little loud for some peoples tastes but the choice was spot on.

He was a dog-friendly, quick, kind servant. It was good for us that it was a bit loud because of the rugby match, because we socialized the dog. The food was served quickly. We recommend the sweeter version of Apple cider. Which was a little early, but they corrected it: the table was stuck, we ate and they immediately took us down.

Always an enjoyable experience when we visit. Food & Drink are both excellent and the staff very friendly and knowledgable.

I've been here twice now for a roast dinner. Which was very nice both times. I added cauliflower cheese which was extra but definitely worth it. It arrived promptly and hot. The staff are very friendly. They have a great selection of beers. Definitely my go to place for Sunday lunch now! I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

We had a works night out here so had 16 people. Booking system was good and the service from the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food on the whole was excellent, across 16 three course meals we were bound to have the odd item that wasn’t perfect. The cheesecake dessert was the worst item by far. Apart from that a few parts of some dishes were a bit cold but probably didn’t help trying to serve 16 people at the same time. Atmosphere was great and very scenic overlooking the water in the quays.

Great location near the canal. I had lunch with an old friend yesterday and on arrival we had a very warm welcome from the manager. The food was freshly cooked, the beer good and service was first class. A very enjoyable experience.

The staff were excellent, however, the red cabbage was undercooked, and we order an extra cauliflower cheese which wasn't very nice - the rest was excellent though

It was absolutely perfect we came to celebrate our wedding with a somewhat large group of 16 people and the restaurant was so accommodating to us. they were very helpful and friendly throughout the whole pre-booking experience. We will definitely be going again!

As usual, a great meal at B&K. Service was on point from Lauren and she helped our experience to be very positive. Bitterly cold and wet outside whci meant the atmosphere was a little down on the usual. The beer was good, just one thing, bring back Tongerlo, please!

While the staff is always pleasant and friendly, I couldn't overlook the disappointing trend of reduced portion sizes and increased prices. We have been going to this pub for the last 3 years and I have been increasingly disappointed with the quality and quanitiy of food you get for the price of it. Forking out £7 for a mere 4 shrimp felt like a substantial letdown. The atmosphere is lovely and the drinks are great, but the food is disappointing for what you pay for so I will no longer be eating at this place.

We had a works group meal at Brewhouse. The Christmas 3 course meal was delicious, generously portioned and incredible value for money. Really enjoyed our meal, sat beside the quay, I’ll definitely come back.

Booked xmas lunch for 3 at Gloucester Brewhouse. Credit to them it was faultless. The staff were excellent, polite and efficient. The food was excellent. Portion size was just right and each course was full of flavour. On top of this the setting on the edge of the Gloucester Canal made the whole occasion very special. We had a table of 15 and pre-ordered our food. Service was excellent. Every meal came with the person’s name so there wasn’t any confusion as to who had ordered what. Would throughly recommend and we will return

We had our works Xmas party this week and chose the finger buffet, which was a little disappointing. The food was nice, but not much of it. I think next time we would just order off the main menu. Staff lovely and lovely atmosphere.

The staff are polite but the food and drinks on offer are very average, and they play music outside all day providing nothing but noise pollution to their own area. A blight to their community. Avoid.

Monday evening 5pm visit and my friend and I enjoyed the beer and burger offer for £10.99. Bargain for what was a fantastic burger and the beer was good too. Sadly though the service could’ve been a whole lot better. We were greeted and shown our table and that was all fine. But the assigned waitress took a while to take our order and then when the food was delivered we didn’t see her again. The table next to us had a different waitress and we observed her checking in on the customers regularly, clearing the table when they’d finished and asked if they wanted anything else. Our waitress could learn a lot from her but that said, despite serving the table next to us she was oblivious to us and the fact that we’d been left high and dry. We paid up and left after only one drink and main course but had we been looked after its likely we’d have ordered more. So, great food and drink but sadly, poor service. Such a shame.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and had popped into TGI Fridays first but found the place to be very understaffed, with a 20 minute wait on being seated. Really felt for the staff tbh! So we looked around a bit before deciding on the Brewhouse. Instantly we were met by smiles and friendly, helpful staff, who seated us instantly and who were very attentive. Food was great, even though my partner's salad was just a chunk of lettuce and some slices of cheese on the side of her plate, the rest of the meal was very enjoyable. The drinks were nice too and we left feeling very happy and full. One other thing to note, is that the pricing was respectable also, compared to somewhere like Nandos, five guys or TGI. I would recommend that they need to think about revamping the men's loos, as it's looking a little run down also. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there.
