Great food and incredible customer service at this chippy! Everything was tasty, and the staff were super friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Been a while since I last ordered as been on a body transformation list loads of weight and gained muscle anyhow as a occasional treat I submitted my order and wow still as good as it’s always been pleasant delivery driver and piping hot fresh tasty food once again this place never fails to impress I wont ever use any other take away for this kind of food EVER

Pizza was burnt - I have photos to show evidence

I was warned about this chippy years ago but I thiught it would be alright now ordered a pizza. The app said a hour and a half wait, it also said that they confirmed, prepared and delivered the order. This was yesterday im still waiting for my order, they never delivered and dis not answer the phone and actually closed the shop. Ridiculous don't order if you actually want your food!!!

not that great food lamb was very rubbery and my chips was missing and was cold not in a rush order from there again

Order all the time from here. Fish was delicious but the chips were cold so didn't really enjoy and didn't get very many.

when i opened the pizza box the pizza was ripped squashed and cold very disappointed and discussed with it i will not be ordering from you again

We tried to order over the phone for home delivery. We had a menu which we might have had for a while in the drawer so expected the prices to have changed . We asked if they wanted card payment over phone or cash on delivery. The girl said cash would be better so my husband asked how much it was so he could have the money ready. The girl said £25 including delivery. This seemed extortionate as it was only for 2 chicken wraps and 1 portion of chips. The charge was about 3 times to cost on my slightly outdated menu. I phoned back and asked for a breakdown of the bill. The girl got really flustered and eventually after giving several prices for the kebabs came up with a price of £19 something. I said that's not what you quoted us and cancelled the order. Please beware. Seems like a scam to me.

Easily the worst chippy in Dunston. A chip shop that doesn't know how to cook chips. Kebabs and pizza also rank. Not surprised there's never anyone in Avoid.

Chips were hard and crunchy like they had been reheated had next to no potatoe in them garlic sauce was not sauce it was like water it was that runny. The pizza had not been cut into slices either.

Arrived 20mins after ordering so was very quick. I ordered pizza and chips and everytime has been delicious but on this time the chips weren't nice at all so was disappointed.

Chips were hard had been cooked to many times, the batter on the fish was soggy and the fish itself tasted off the sausage was burnt and the mushy peas were liquid the only nice thing was the batter they'd put on the chips un asked for but the only eadable part of the meals, will never go back there again, oh and put out for the pigeons and they left it lol

Awful food. Chips were terrible, not worth eating and the fishcake just tasted like potato. If there was any fish in there I couldn't taste it!

Ordered a mixed Kebab. 90% Doner Kebab 5% Chicken Tikka 5% Chicken Shawarma Doner kebab didn’t taste nice and completely ruined the meal. Would not recommend or order from here again. I am local and live in Dunston.

Worst kebab I have ever had, got a small kebab with salad, well it was supposed to be salad no red cabbage, no onion, one slice if tomato and a end of a cucumber, it was all white cabbage and for £6-75 will never visit this place again and I suggest if u are thinking of going there don't.

Absolutely vile takeaway tonight! The chips were the most disgusting I have ever eaten and went straight in the bin! Mozzarella sticks were cold and minging. Only decent thing was the wrap even though it was half the size it used to be, same as chip portion gone massively down! Not worth it anymore

Another superb meal the quality of the kebab meat is superb and their curry sauce is lush , honestly give this place a go it’s faultless and spot on never disappoints

Came in to get my tea, on my burger I asked no sauce and they put sauce on, for the chips I asked for no salt and vinegar and it has both on, useless owners can’t listen to people

Best chippy in the area. Huge range of options. Shame the delivery fees are much higher than any where else.

Kebab arrived without pitta bread. I ordered chilli sauce to put on it, but somehow the kebab was smothered with the sauce to become sickly. I tried calling the restaurant as I appreciate good food but no answer. I'm really disappointed in the service to be honest.

Never again . The garlic sauce was full ice and couldn’t eat it . Milkshake wasn’t nice was full off lumps and didn’t taste like milkshake one bit. Delivery driver was standing at gate saying he couldn’t open gate and it doesn’t have a lock or nothing on .

Used to get pizzas from here all the time pre covid and they were amazing. Ordered 2 pizzas tonight and was very disappointed. The cheese tasted rubbery and you could taste the dough from the base. Definitely not cooked properly. Put in the bin. Will be going somewhere else in future

When the food came it was cold all 3 of them The boxed meal the lid was flapping open so I'm not surprised it was cold

The delivery was in the time quoted but it was over an hour. The pizza was lovely but barely warm. As we were moving we didn't have any way to heat it so it was wasted after a slice each. Very disappointed

I asked for a well done haddock what I got was,,,, I believe a frozen haddock fillet, burnt on the outside and slimy thick uncooked batter on the inside,,, as I former owner of a chippy,,, I know how to fry,, not impressed at all,!!!

Good portions abysmal , unless the child is between the ages of 3-6 kids portions are tiny , 5 strips of kebab and chips & 2 tiny fish bites looked like nuggets

Initial delivery time moved so it appears on time 1hr 50 mins for food I had to nuke to eat…I only ordered because I’m without car tonight wasn’t expecting that…

First time ordering and food came when expected, the cheese pasty was lovely hot and fresh but the Parmesan was abit rubbery which was a real shame! Chilli garlic sauces super lush, chips lush but cold as was the kebab meat but probably as I live abit further as the delivery charge was £4:50!! Crikey haha …

cancelled order but still delivered

Got phone call 30 mins prior to delivery saying they didn’t have desserts and had no alternative to offer that was sweet, chose a vanilla milkshake that ended up being basically milk.

Used to order from here a lot but won’t be doing it again. Chips were big squares, dry and hard. Chicken wings were also really bland with barely any sauce dribbled over the top

Must get a kebab wrap from here like 5 times a week because it's stunning the food quality is immense and the delivery is always fast never had a bad meal from here and would deffo recommend get it right in you gal 🎉

Said it before and I will say it again , I've never ever had a bad meal from here. The food arrived early and the lad who delivered it was very friendly and pleasant and even commented on my new drive saying it looked beautiful , my only regret is I didn't have any cash lying about otherwise I would of gave him a tip , something I will keep in mind next time I order. Delivery staff like him are an absolute credit to your business give the lad a pay rise. Please pass my comments on to the delivery man.

Ordered a special box and half of the kebab meat was cold and like rubber, chops were like plastic and chicken was dry give them a go as my local was closed will not use again only good thing was early delivery but the quality of food was just terrible

Ordered two cod n chips & fish cake. The fish cake was ok. The cod was swimming in oil and the batter was like a brick. Chips were stone cold. Totally wasted my money, Never again

Very disappointing. Hopefully just be a one off as had nice food before but tonights food wasnt as nice as other times, chips especially werent great. Tried a cheese and onion pattie which had no taste at all. Only good tasting thing tonight was the chilli sauce and garlic sauce and the pop. Hopefully you can taste some of the food before it goes out to see what needs changing

Garlic bread and cheese barely tasted like garlic and was very doughy and not great to eat. Order said you get a 10” margarita or garlic bread if spending over £20 which was spent but no option came up nor 10” arrived. My dad who had the pepperoni pizza said that it was edible but not amazing and when looking in the box I couldn’t tell the pizzas apart except smell as the pizza didn’t have pepperoni on.

Salad was fab, everything else was cold, all meat, my scampi was claycold which caused my batter to become hard. And all the paper everything was wrapped in was soaking wet, probably not order again.

Wraps were delicious nice and full lots of kebab meat but chicken tikka there wasn’t a lot of but was nice definitely going back again

Always get food from here but usually pick up. Cant normally fault the food but because of how late the food was it was barely warm.

Our garlic bread was not brought with our order so we had to wait for the delivery driver to go back and collect to garlic bread. The other food was cold by the time she returned with it 15 minutes later. The pitta was packed at the bottom of the kebab meat and chips and covered in garlic sauce meaning to pitta was soggy. The garlic bread was dry and had a funny taste. Incredibly disappointed with this order.

Don't know what's happened to this chip shop. Two cod and chips....batter was hard and greasy. Fish dry and tasteless inside. Waste of money. Chips were almost like re-fries. Won't be buying from there again.

Really need to separate the kebab meat from the salad, pitta and sauce. Pitta was soggy by time it was delivered and salad was warm. Chips were just lukewarm

I never leave bad reviews but waste of money, I’m really un happy because we always come here and the food is amazing but tonight the pizza didn’t taste what it was meant to taste like the chips where hard and not cooked probably I’m really not happy as I was looking forward to the food I won’t be coming back wish I just cooked something instead of wasting money and time

Restaurant confirmed order very quickly and delivery was 30mins early which is excellent but food quality was horrendous. Pizza was burnt, Kebab looked and tasted like it had been left outside for 10 days before shipping it, chips were a mixture of uncooked and scabs. Fish was alright. Won't be ordering again and I wouldn't recommend to anyone wanting to actually eat something.

Paid £10.20 for 2 chips and a large garlic…forgot to look at delivery charge (£4). Rang up straight away to sort and no manager to sort issue (I live opposite the shop…£4 for living opposite)

Overcooked and fish greasy and asked for curry sauce and was given gravy.

Pizza arrived 2315, right at end of the delivery. The pizza was luke warm and wasn't even the correct pizza. This is the first time I am unhappy with an order from this takeaway
