Dunnes Stores Cafe in Belfast

No pints for sale so no point. Who wants to eat and not drink pints. Imagine have lasagne, curry, stroganoff or any dish really and zero pints. Not even bud light and you may as well drink water that that muck.

The woman at the hot food counter was rude. The lady infront of me asked for a takeaway soup and the staff member sighed and looked visibly annoyed when asked to literally do her job? She had short blonde hair and was wearing a hair net that didn’t cover half of her hair so that was pretty pointless, she also did not wear gloves when handling the chips. She also seemed annoyed when I ordered chips and mumbled that I would have to wait a minute. Her attitude clearly showed that she did not want to be there and her customer service was appalling. Really put me off going there.

Dunnes would be so much better if the staff member was pleasant.. a woman named Tina was serving me and my friends today breakfast, she seemed to forgot decent manners, a smile would have been nice and as for the gentleman behind me he ask for toast and was told have you ordered toast in a very cheeky manner.. the rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful as for Tina put her in the back were no one can see her

Most reasonable priced Breakfast in town. Does be busy at lunch as its a popular spot. Great price and the staff are great. Lisa and Glen gave us a great laugh. So beware busy at lunch but very reasonably price.

Me and my husband go into dunnes cafe every day service from all the staff is excellent they work so hard and value is best in omagh I am waiting this reveiw because of other bad reveiws which are unfair I recommend trying the cafe and I am a genuine customer not a member of dunnes staff just a genuine customer we sometimes go into dunnes enniskillen and find it not as good as omagh branch

I’ve never experienced such slow customer service in all my life. Those women would need a hot iron prod to the backside to get going!!!! Very frustrating when you have babies and children who have very little patience as it is never mind waiting to have your food dished out and then wait at the till for them to press a few buttons and count out change!!!! It’s also not the cleanest of places.

Arrived after 3pm and there was no hot food left, just one lady on the sandwich bar with a busy queue. I got served by Lisa who rolled her eyes at me and just acted like she had somewhere better to be. She also got my order wrong three times. However a girl called Shannon was the only saving grace and smiley face. She corrected my order each time Lisa got it wrong although Lisa repeated my order back every time? Food was horrible in the end anyways, sandwich was dry. They say old people are rude, but Shannon seemed so young yet so patient and attentive. A shame as it seems a place a lot of people in omagh go and ‘value’ for some unknown reason. Plenty of smaller cafes on the high street who will serve you with a smile.

Dunnes Omagh Cafe 30/9/22 12.30pm, the attitude of the lady making the sandwiches/toasties today was shocking rude. 4 colleagues on a lunch break where met with "what you want" and tuts when asked if there was chicken tikka 1 of us asked for Paco Bread and were told that's sandwich bread only and cant be toasted, which is not true because we have had it toasted on every previous visit. The same knife was used to cut all four sandwiches, so we all had traces of coleslaw and tuna on our toasties. gloves were not changed and she wiped down the cutting surface with the same set of gloves every time and then stuck her hand in the crisps to put on all our plates. no please, no thank you at any time. we all have bad days and don't love our jobs but this was the worst customer service we have experienced anywhere.

I went to the toilets on a weekday They were disgusting. I complained and was told by the manager that it was school girls who did this and the men’s toilets were immaculate Weeks later a friend and I went on a Sunday ALL toilets were not usable Again I asked to see manager and the gentleman told me there were no female cleaners available on Sunday Judge an establishment by the toilets I would never go back

On our visits whilst visiting Omagh store at various time and days we found the staff very helpful and food in cafe was good, with some screens and various languages found communicating difficult at times as I wear hearing aids. The store is well stocked with food and we found the quality good. Yes things can go wrong but always give a second chance or tell a manager.

I regularly attend Dunnes store cafe in Omagh and I am always impressed with the value for money on offer. I had the turkey dinner before Christmas. There was a generous helping of turkey and ham and a selection of potatoes and vegetables. I often have coffee and cake or a scone and as far as I am concerned the scone is the best in omagh. I have found the service to be excellent and the staff very helpful indeed. Also the manager is often in the cafe making sure everyone is happy with their food. Keep up the good wor Dunnes in Omagh

The toilets are often disgusting and out of order When I approached the manager he said it was the school girls He had no female on duty to clean AND the men’s toilets were never a problem

The cafe in Dunnes has had a complete make-over and it was not before time. The Manager Glen and his staff are friendly and helpful. The food and service is excellent. Unfortunately during the coronavirus the cafe has closed but I look forward to it reopening in due course.

We had only one problem during our Ireland Tour - spend pounds (GBP) away, before Brexit will come! As Omagh Town happened to locate suitable in our route - then there must be good shops to buy some useful to bring with into home? Dunnes Store was a good choice, quality goods with suitable prices. It has also a Cafe, but it was quite average in level.

Eat there quite regularly as visit Omagh weekly. Always a good meal and orders plus coffee delivered to the table. Good selection of food and pleasant staff. not sure about the toilet photos of a previous post as always well maintained on any visit we have made.

Called in for a late lunch after a works meeting recently. Previous visits were usually at the busy 1-2 lunchtime period which, although sometimes hard to get seated, would have got more positive reviews. This occasion however left me disappointed. No problems with service, ordered lasagne and chips (no salad available). Plenty of table spaces in the canteen style sitting area. Lasagne came in, and presumably cooked in, a single portion dish where usually it would be portioned from a full, large tray. It was only warm and looked like it had been sitting on display for hours. The chips were, well, chips - I'm not a big eater of chips so can't really comment on their quality. I appreciate that my visit was after a busy lunchtime and probably during wind down time for the staff but for over £7 (including a bottle of water) I was underwhelmed with my lunch.

Forced to use this place quite a lot, while the wife does the shopping..It's OK in fairness. Food is hot and hearty,,always quite busy. Staff are great and attentive...Sometimes tables take a while to be cleaned,,but overall it's not bad...Bit expensive though..

Had a lovely cup of coffee and a fresh sandwich in Dunnes after doing a big grocery shop.I needed the break and it was a clean welcoming area with friendly staff.Worth another visit.

Good value for money in a basic cafeteria style restaurant. The adjoining toilets however are in desperate need of attention; visited as the cafe just opened and the toilets were clearly not cleaned from the evening before

I meet up with some friends at least monthly and we have had brunch/toasted sandwiches/lunch in Dunnes fairly often. Parking is good. This is no frills but for the price is very good. There is a real buzz at lunchtime and the cafe is very busy. The staff are nice. Much better value and standard than some places in Omagh.

Good food at a good price. Would recommend. Good car parking and ideal for meeting family and friends

Stopped here on the way home from a weekend Break and I have to say the food is excellent. Nothing fancy just good food and served by really friendly staff. I have had food in other Dunnes store restaurants but none up to the same standard as this one. If you are in Omagh definitely pay this place a visit.

Good basic food that's served by well organised staff. People need to understand this is a restaurant that is attached to a shopping complex. If you want expensive food go elsewhere. This is old fashioned food served to a high standard.

La comida es buena aunque no destaca, tienen bastante variedad a buenos precios, especialmente en la cosas para niños. Hay que destacar las tartas y los desayunos.

Visitamos el café por una parada de camino a Enniskillen y no me decepcionó. Aunque había una cola a la hora de almuerzo del domingo, el servicio era bueno. La comida era excelente relación calidad-precio y el servicio rápido de auto, nos permitió estar en nuestro camino. Sin duda llamada aquí de nuevo.

Family friendly. Great food. Fab service. Really good atmosphere as the warm colours give a calm and perfect ambiance for that catch up or that lunch with friends.

This Dunnes is a recipe for disaster. The table we sat at was very wonky while it is just a canteen set up. The toilets are hanging on by a screw. Not good.

You have to get hot food and then pay, but you get cold food and hot drinks at the same time, at the same till. Therefore peoples food is getting cold, while there making hot drinks. Other than that it basic, but the drinks are nice and the food is okay.

I eat in Dunnes café on a regular basis . Food is excellent , sandwiches and wraps very good. Scones and tray bakes very good and very reasonably priced. Darn good coffee. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Restaurant already had some people in. We went for a quick breakfast. Nothing was ready. They were waiting for stock to arrive. Older lady served us. We hadn't finished ordering and she walked away to serve someone else so we just went and sat down. Food that we did get was mediocre at best.

the is a café in a shopping centre that I visit regularly it does what you want it to do you get feed quickly in warm and safe surroundings no frills just nice home cooking keep up the good work folks

i have had lunch in here a few times everything was cooked well and place was clean a little noisy at times with kids running around food is not too expensive over all its ok

Having visited the Dunnes Stores Cafe in the past, I was hesitant about a return visit (after waiting 40 minutes on my previous visit for my order!). This time, it was a complete shambles, quicker granted, but I would have liked my food cooked properly. I ordered a burger for lunch, with a drink, thinking how bad could it be. However when it arrived, the burger arrived with no fries as stated on the menu, covered in grease and riddled with onions! Completely disgusting! To top it off the burger was undercooked and only luke warm! Will never be returning and would advise people to go elsewhere.

Despite the poor reviews i've eaten here a few times. I had the Turkey and Ham with vegetables and found it to be very nice. I wouldn't say Dunnes is The place to eat but honestly couldn't fault the lunch. Staff were friendly and food was reasonable price. Coffee was lovely.

This is disgusting. The food looks like its been reheated a hundred times. The toilet is all cracked and covered in orange marks like urine and they stink. The prices are much to be desired. Never wanna return #gross

This place could be a whole lot better, the food was very bland, the toilets were spotless which was good. Could have a better range of food. 3/5 Might return again if in area...

The food in Dunnes is great value, & always very good. Mum & I would go here for a cappucino & she says they are the best in Omagh. The tray bakes are really good too!! They have good deals on at lunch too - like soup & sandwiches & their club sandwich is very tasty! Would recommend it.

Hubby and I popped in for a brekkers and they didnt have anything ready yet or we were told it hadnt arrived yet. Staff were busy serving us, half way through just walked away and helped someone else. Food was cold. Staff unfriendly. Would not recommend it im a hurry. Pity, because I enjoy shopping at Dunnes and its convenient to have a bite or a cuppa there.

According to my friends the food is good although options are limited. What I feel is most lacking is a vegetarian option as the menu usually consists of chicken, ham, lasagne or shepherd's pie, sometimes a fish option is served as well. On one occasion I asked if there was a vegetarian option and the reply was "the fish" in a rather rude tone. As I don't eat meat or fish (this being the definition of a vegetarian) and as my friends had already ordered I had to order just the vegetable options for which I was charged full price. These were nice although not filling.I would suggest the staff are provided with customer service training covering basic politeness and manners, followed by teaching them the difference between vegetarian and pescetarian (and other diets). I would also suggest a wider range of menu options be made available as many people do not eat meat for a variety of reasons and are forced to either eat elsewhere or pay full price for half a meal.

I called into Dunnes with my wife and sister for a quick lunch. The food was laid out and looked + tasted like it had been sitting awhile. I decided on some chicken and chips and was asked if I wanted some veg? I asked do you have any peas to which I got the response 'what you see' so the veg option was carrots and ....... carrots. The price wasn't great either, almost £8 (I think it was £7.95) including a large drink, not overly expensive I know but to much for what I received. It was also packed with school children which didn't help. Overall I was unimpressed with the food and the woman serving was boardering on rude - I won't be back

Genuinely very tasty and fantastic value. Sandwiches made to order and hot food on offer, the roast was amazing value, loads of food and really tasty. You wouldn't think it from the outside but it is far better than other fast food places in the area.

The café is situated in the store itself, the staff are friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is you have to go through the café to use toilet facilities.

You might be surprised that a Dunnes Stores cafe is the best place in Omagh to eat lunch but it's true!
