Duncan Terrace. in Islington

We visited this cafe for breakfast today. This cafe is a great spot for freshly cooked breakfast with a great ambience. Food was delicious and service was great with very polite and helpful staff. Good value for money. Will be visiting again. Thank you.

A superb little cafe, next to Angel Station, 7 minute walk to Sadler’s Well. Food freshly cooked, a choice of 2 Quiches with a roasted vegetable salad and green salad both well seasoned and dressed. If you like quiche, these will not disappoint, a deep light well seasoned filling in a buttery crust. Whilst we sat eating our lunch 2 banana and chocolate loaves came out of the oven and passed our table it was too hard to resist I shared a nice thick slice with my friend. It didn’t disappoint, light, soft, the dark chocolate still warm gave it a hint of sweetness. My other friend had the brownie and it was as good. There is an exceptionally good cook & baker at the Duncan Terrace. The menu is small but you are confident that it is freshly cooked and not bought it from Brake Brothers and ‘ping dinged’. Our 2 course lunch with Sparkling water and a hot beverage averaged at £11 per head. A gem of a find that didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend, Great venue for meeting being it is next to Angel Station, Food and Service didn’t disappoint and good value for money.

Excelente comida casera. Almuerzo allí casi todos los días y estoy impresionado por la cocina constantemente buena y el servicio súper rápido. Puedo salir después de 20 minutos y un almuerzo con una comida y un postre.

Lugar de desayuno perfecto Me detuve para un desayuno rápido y quedé muy impresionado. ¡Un café encantador, mucho mejor que las principales cafeterías nombradas! Un gran desayuno y agradable ambiente! Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera! ¡Personal amigable! ¡Un placer!

Absolutely amazing food - tasted like a home cooked meal, delicious warm and light, exactly what we needed on a rainy day. Staff was very nice and attentive. We liked it so much, so had our lunch few days in the row while visiting London from New York.

terrible service, they changing prices of their products like lasagna later saying its been a mistake, good food but bad service, not going to eat there anymore. Plus heard some of my colleagues complaint about their service.So when you try to sell something to customers make sure you remember how much it costs and dont fool ppl.Thats a big disappointment.

Tasty lunch and coffee. A very cozy place in the vibrant Angel neighborhood. Feel like home (perhaps also because I just live around the corner).

Not sure where to start. Excellent service by lovely ladies. Great choice of dishes although it takes a while to understand how many they can offer. Very reasonable priced too. Clean and confortable. Will certainly visit again if in the area.

Fabulous little cafe with absolutely delicious food and drinks. Staff is so helpful and kind. Great ambiance to either grab a quick coffee or park for a bit and enjoy the food, catch up with friends, and/or get some work done.

Rarely do I take lunch, even less likely when I'm in London but what a great place. Superb choice of fresh dishes, supported with crisp salad. Wonderful service It's worth a tube trip for a tasty experience. I might have to totally change my habits to come back

Vu les commentaires, on ne pouvait pas semble-t-il quitter Londres sans passer par le Duncan Terrace. Et bien si! On a testé l’english breakfast et d’autres pâtisseries pour démarrer la journée. Au final, rien d’extraordinaire. Ça reste très correct mais pas autant que ce à quoi nous nous attendions. On a trouvé mieux et peut-être plus authentique ailleurs.
