Du Vall’s Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

A friend and I visited for dinner and both had fish and chips. The food was hot and tasty, and service was quick and friendly - the staff were welcoming and chatty.

We visited as a group on a Sunday. The meal was a Sunday carvery with a selection of Turkey, Beef, Lamb and Gammon. The meat was served to your plate and then the Yorkshire’s gravy and vegetables were all self serve, eat as much as you want. You could return for refills of vegetables but another portion of meat was £10 extra. There was a great selection of deserts to choose from, again these were self serve and eat as much as you like. The selection included gateaux’s, cheesecakes and a selection of cheese and biscuits. Overall I would recommend giving this place a try. The food was lovely and good value for money. The ambience and decor was lovely too.

we attended a Sunday carvery as part of a group of over 30 people. The food was well prepared, tasty and very filling. There was a huge assortment of delicious desserts too. Now on an extended diet :-)

Staff were very disorganised, with only one staff member at breakfast appearing to know what he was doing. Food was good.

Great food, very friendly and efficient staff. Very nice restaurant would certainly recommend, a good selection to choose from and tables nicely spaced out.

Lovely food, looked good on the plate too. Served by friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Nice for couples.

All the staff here were fantastic. And the food was superb, (quite a shock after so many other hotels having poor limited menus). the hotel was also dealing with Covid in a professional manor well separated tables and areas. Looking forward to returning. And hope all is OK for them during this lock down.

Well cooked, nicely presented starters, mains and desserts, which were all delicious. Great wine menu. Excellent service.
