Chi ha sempre sentito parlare di pub, ma non ne ha mai visto uno vero, trascorra una serata al DRUM.

came in here with some friends for something to eat and a drink in the evening. The service was average, and there was a clicky atmosphere in the place. two of the customers picked on someone outside the mens toilet, and the manager done nothing. one of the men then walked around the pub shouting, and still nothing was done. Worst Wetherspoons we had been in.

Fantástico servicio de nuevo de Josh. Realmente servicial y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. La comida fue fantástica!

Alloggiando in struttura nei pressi ci siamo concessi una serata anche grazia all’ottima recensione letta proprio qui su Tripadvisor. Che dire ? Fantastico ! Ovviamente prima delle 21 devi uscire se hai, come noi, una figlia minorenne. Però l’atmosfera era incredibile, luci soffuse (un classico), la partita di calcio in tv con le imprecazioni dei tifosi (altro classico) la birra buonissima e qualche cliente ovviamente leggermente alticcio che però mai ha disturbato. Cucina ottima e grandi consigli di un ragazzo che lì lavora mi pare di Bologna. Ci ha suggerito di ordinare tutto tramite app prontamente scaricata e con la quale paghi. Fantastico. Certo in cucina non c’era Cracco ma il cibo molto molto buono con una purea straordinaria. Infine i servizi igienici perfettamente puliti anche se il locale era al completo. Le serate sono poi diventate due godute appieno con un cocktail (non ricordo il nome) a base Gin che ancora, ogni tanto, sogno la notte. Bravi !

Wir waren im Oktober 2019 mit 5 Personen, darunter 1 Kind, zweimal zu Gast. Die vermutlich ortsansässigen Gäste machten sofort einen Tisch frei als wir reinkamen. Urgemütlich eingerichtet, familiär, freundliches Personal, leckeres und preiswertes Essen, große Bier- und Cider-Auswahl! Man machte uns auch höflich darauf aufmerksam, dass Kindern nur bis 21Uhr Aufenthalt gewährt werden kann. We visited two times in Oct 2019 this pub. We were impressed by the homely outfit, and the kindness of guests and employees! Tasty food, much beers and ciders, good prices!

Abbiamo alloggiato in un hotel nelle vicinanze e come ultima sera volevamo andare in un pub inglese doc. Passandoci ogni giorno abbiamo scelto lui, piatti abbondanti, ottimi e squisiti, camerieri molto gentili e disponibili e accettano la carta. La prossima volta che verrò a Londra ci ritornerò. Gente locale che si ritrova per bere una birra e soprattuto niente turisti.Ambiente da vero pub inglese!!

Nous avons séjourné en famille non loin de ce pub et y avons l’habitude d’y aller chaque soir, boire une bonne bière peu chère ou y dîner. Ce pub est très convivial. La nourriture y est très bonne, du plat typiquement anglais au plat indien.... les enfants sont acceptés jusqu’à 21h. Un conseil, y aller de bonne heure pour avoir une table. Certains soirs, beaucoup de monde, beaucoup d’habitués. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques.

Ein Pub mit wirklich gutem Essen und gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ein bisschen schmuddelig, aber nette Bedienungen und offenbar gerne von Einheimischen besucht. Immer ein gutes Zeichen.

We went their for our late lunch. The gentleman in the bar and serving us has been pleasant gentleman giving us curry club. The curry was spot on and tasty. I am impressed the Drum wetherspoon has been surviving building since 1986 before I was born. I just glad it’s going very well

Cenamos varias veces en el pub. La hamburguesa de pollo con patatas y bebida estaba deliciosa. Tenía un precio de 5.80 libras. El ambiente es un tanto pintoresco y agradable. Muy recomendable.

Un lugar muy pintoresco sobre todo por la noche pues es un lugar obligatorio de reunión para la gente después de trabajar es un local con mucha vida y bullicioso donde como buen curioso se pueden degustar muchas clases de pintas y si vamos con hambre se puede cenar a unos precios super razonables platos típicos ingleses como el pescado rebozado con patatas o una simple y rica hamburguesa es un lugar pintoresco con luces tenues y conversaciones animadas el trato de los camareros/ras es muy agradable y atento en mi caso que no domino muy bien el ingles me echaron una mano en cuanto al pedido y comprensión de la carta yo es un lugar que recomiendo para poder percibir el ambiente de un barrio de inmigrantes de las afueras de Londres por la noche

Went there for drinks and eat something. We ordered very tasty salads, fries and beer. They have a large selection of local beers. It was really good time there. We didn't want to go back hotel. Young staff was really friendly and kind for us, so for sure we will back there once be around.

Nothing more nothing less.. standard spoons. Good prices for food and drink.. not the best service but for what it is it is good.

I came with friends last Sunday, to have a sit down breakfast. We chose this establishment just by chance. I sat down at the table with my two best friends who are a couple and my partner. As my partner went to the bar a young lady walked up to my table and advised me I was barred! And she had evidence of me on CCTV! Very bizarre as I live in Hertfordshire and I had never even heard of this place before, let alone been in it. I requested to see the CCTV footage but the girl refused. I have never been so humiliated and had such a shocking experience in an establishment with such LACK of customer service. I want to note that I am and so are the people I was with well into 40’s and I had sunglasses on. If I could rate this no stars, I would. Bizarre behaviour.

If you want to meet bar staff who don't know how to do their job visit the drum, you won't be disappointed.

Great service, fair prices, good food. If you are not looking for the fancy side this place is just for you. Pleasant time guaranteed.

Un vero pub inglese con inglesi di una certa età che bevono e schiamazzano amichevolmente. Stufato di carne con patate non particolarmente eccelso ma ad un prezzo molto più basso della media inglese, ottimo fish&chips;, servizio al banco davvero sgradevole come si addice in un posto che non vuole turisti ma mi è piaciuto un sacco perché è stata l'unica sera in cui mi sono sentito a Londra e non nell'immenso parco turistico che è da anni.

Wir haben fast die ganze Karte ausprobiert, am Morgen gab traditionelles englischen Frühstück aber auch Porridge mit Banane und Honig. Tee und Kaffee konnte man nachfühlen. Zum Abendessen Bürger, Sossen stehen bereit zum selber nehmen, der Äpfel Crumble mit Eis war himmlisch. Ist sehr zum empfehlen.

Wunderbar für Familien. Kinder willkommen. Gutes Essen zu günstigen Preisen und nettes Personal. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das andere Essen zu empfehlenswert.

Terrible experience in this place, me and my friends came here for a few drinks and food but I regret that I did come. I saw a rat/mouse run across my table where we were eating and spoke to the manager and he was very rude and very creepy with me and my friends, pervert he kept looking at us and it was very unsettling. I wouldn't come here again.

Waren im nahegelegenen ibis-Hotel untergebracht und kamen zum Abendessen hier hin. Die Burger waren okay, allerdings nicht mehr. Etwas klein und sehr trocken, also ev. eine Sauce dazubestellen.

Nos alojamos en el hotel ibis de al lado durante tres días. Íbamos a tomar unas pintas. Tiene unos precios muy buenos, para ser Londres y mucha variedad de cervezas. El ambiente es de gente de todas las edades. Se puede comer y beber, como en los auténticos pubs. Tienen una máquina de café lavazza de autoservicio, lo cual es un punto más a su favor. Es complicado encontrar un sitio en Londres donde sirvan buen café. Repetiremos en una próxima visita!

It's super cool, not very expensive and the personal is very nice. We love this bar / restaurant ! You can eat a good fish and chips with a very good Guinesse !

We were staying in Leyton for one night and looking for somewhere quick for lunch.

La comida no está mal, no es una comida estupenda, pero creo que esta es una referencia comida del reino unido o discontinuas. Me trajo aquí para asegurarse de que me dieron un buen desayuno británico!

Pub mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, es gibt ein günstiges Tagesangebot bei welchem auch ein Getränk nach Wahl (Softdrinks, Bier, Tee, Kaffee...) inbegriffen ist. Man bestellt an der Theke und holt sich dort auch seine Getränke. Das Essen wird an den Tisch gebracht. Normalgroße Portionen. Der Pub wird überwiegend von einheimischen Männern mittleren Alters besucht.

Comida e bebida excelente, com atendimento um pouco ríspido pela atendente. Mas na sexta feira a cozinha fechava 22hs e chegamos 21:58hs e não aceitaram o pedido. Para completar na segunda feira tentamos pedir o prato típico inglês, fish and chips, e não tinha...acredito que sejam pontos a melhorar.

Sono già due sere che andiamo a mangiare in questo pub; che dire? Semplicemente perfetto!!! L'atmosfera è tipica londinese: gente seduta negli stessi posti, che sorseggia la birra leggendo il giornale e chiacchierando con ipotetici sconosciuti. Tutti sereni, rilassati e gioviali. La scelta delle birre è ottima e il cibo molto english, anche se strizza un occhio alla cucina etnica. Il personale è molto gentile e ci tiene che l'ospite stia bene, gradisca il cibo e soprattutto capisca la lingua. Penso che ci mangeremo tutte le sere che ci restano. Consigliatissimo!!!!

Estuvimos alojados en el hotel de enfrente y yo tenía ganas de probarlo, a las malas para cenar tenía KFC enfrente, pero para nada, buen ambiente, muchísimas variedad de cerveza , y se CC enamorado y/o se come bien a buen precio, repito me encantó y recomiendo

Sabes lo que te vas a encontrar con un Wetherspoon, pero me pareció que el personal y la comida eran mejores que la media, y en una parte de Londres no dotada de pubs la selección botella decente era especialmente bueno. Barato y alegre, pero quizás después de un largo día de viaje para llegar a esta parte de Londres una hamburguesa y cerveza en decente costo dio en el clavo.

La última visita fue hace un año. Pero puedo. Este lugar cambio enorme! Muy limpio y ordenado. Comida normal! Personal amable! ! ¡volveré! :)

Found this place by accident. Inside is clean and tidy, plenty of seating. Not too noisy, outside seating area. Lots to choose from from the menu, very good prices, portion sizes were good, quality of the food was good and it tasted good as well!Give it a try.

We have spent there two evenings. We had beer + vine + some food.Food was "beer / vine food" -- chips and onion rings -- and they were good -- I mean, you cannot make magic with chips and onion rings -- you can only make them bad -- they did not.The "house vine" was OK -- for being house vine.They had collection of beers and ... these beers were much cheaper in many other places. They had, like, 10 different beers that were all below 3 pound for a pint. The atmosphere is -- local pub -- not pub for tourists.Staff -- very busy, but if you make a joke they will laugh ;-)If you are int he area -- like, in the Accor Seasons hotel -- go there to have a beer / vine / drink and enjoy!If am back to London and in the area -- I will definitely visit the place.

Das Pub ist direkt im die Ecke vom Ibis Style und daher sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Hier gibt es leckeres und günstiges Essen und viele Biere zur Auswahl. Wir haben hier zumindest jeden Abend einen Absacker mit genommen.

El lugar está muy bien, acogedor, amplio, mucha variedad de cervezas, y la carta, si no fuese por que no entendiamos nada, diria que lo suficientemente variada. Pedimos a ciegas y no acertamos para nada... la comida era muy extraña y no nos gustó mucho, la cual cosa no significa que no estuviese buena... En fin... nos alojamos al lado de la cerveceria y no repetimos...

I was craving for a nice burger so I went to the TripAdvisor and found this pub which is just walking distance from my place. The interior was typical british pub which feels really cosy and nice and not too loud. The burger I had was amazing but the onion ring was even better. And I asked one of the bartender,probably the manager even,to recommend me a nice ale as I'm not a big drinker myself. He was very accommodating with me and even came to my table few times to check on my food and if I needed anything else like salt or sauce. This small gestures defo impacted me on thinking of coming back in the future,besides the delicious onion rings of course.

Abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima serata in questo bel pub dove si respira un'atmosfera molto rilassata. Il locale è frequentato soprattutto da abitanti del quartiere; si beve un'ottima birra e la qualità dei piatti è davvero buona. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

Ho scoperto questo pub in quanto ho alloggiato in un hotel vicino....che dire: fantastico. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi panini ma anche qualche piatto come l'Ale Pie. Tutto buonissimo. Un rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente. Buone anche le birre.E' frequentato soprattutto da gente del posto. L'unico appunto è che la cucina chiude alle 10 (la domenica invece mi sembra alle 8).Quando tornerò a Londra sicuramente ci ritornerò. Consigliatissimo.

I've frequented this establishment several times and never been disappointed .The layout ,decor and cleanliness of the place is exceptional compared to the many other Wetherspoons I've been to .The staff were superb and served you with an honest smile .Next time I will be eating with my drink for sure .

I live down the road and this is my local. Great and friendly staff and the pub has a traditional east London buzz of locals but also give you your space if your a lone drinker! Perfect for a girl who likes to mind her own business and who prefers ale over cocktails !

Personalmente di questo pub me ne sono innamorato, sia per l ottima birra,sia per l ottimo cibo che per la cordialità e la simpatia dello staff , con all incirca 10£ si mangia e si beve. Le birre sono ottime e di varie qualità. Consigliabilissimo

This pub is just perfect.A tipical british place that just seams like home nomather where you are coming from.The prices are very low,and they have a great range of food types.Do not miss the chocolate cake,just delicious.It is opend untill late night and the staff is very nice.I strongly reccomend it if you find yourselves in this area of London.

Questo è un vero pub inglese, con tutti i pro e i contro. Non è turistico, al contrario troverete persone del luogo, per lo più da sole, che rendono l'atmosfera veramente "tipica" e da film. La location è molto grande, con tavoli sia fuori che dentro. Purtroppo, proprio perchè le persone del luogo vengono per lo più da sole e occupano i tavoli da soli, anche se c'era poca gente abbiamo trovato difficoltà, io e la mia ragazza, a trovare un posto libero. Alla fine abbiamo optato per un tavolo lungo che era da pulire (il servizio è un po' lento) a cui dopo esserci seduti si è unito uno sconosciuto con un giornale e una birra (niente di fastidioso, ma essenzialmente diverso dalla nostra concezione di pub dove non ti fanno sedere neanche ad un tavolo da 4 se si è in 2). Il servizio è al bancone, quindi si scelgono le birre ed eventualmente da mangiare e si ordina tutto lì. Le birre vanno prese subito mentre il cibo viene portato al tavolo dalle cameriere. Le salse, le posate e tutto il resto da prendere autonomamente e liberamente dalle apposite postazioni. Ottima la qualità sia delle birre che del cibo, ad un prezzo molto ragionevole per Londra e con ottimi menù per i pasti.Essenzialmente lo consiglierei a tutti, molto piacevole e quasi economico.

As another reviewer has said, a small Wetherspoons with a limited menu, however we found food that was well cooked and excellent service with a good range of local beersI particularly loved the sweet potato, spinach and chick pea curry.A proper friendly East End local well worth a visit

I have always loved this pub, problem is, under new rules as it is only a "small" Wetherspoons the Management have recently been allowed to run a partial Menu throughout the day. We discovered this a few weeks ago when we went to have a Sunday lunch at about 2pm. I asked to see the Menu and was told only sandwiches and other Deli products were available until 5pm. Another time recently we arrived at the Drum after 5pm, and they still had a reduced menu after 5pm. I asked the lady if it had affected business and she said no. On the both occasions we couldn't get a full choice of Menu, we definitely were not the only people turning around to find somewhere else to eat. That reply from her I find difficult to believe. So Wetherspoons, let's have our great little pub running back to normal with it's full Menu etc.

Chouette petit pub traditionnel, le drum vous propose plusieurs sortes de bières et de cidres ainsi que la possibilité de manger le soir avec une carte simple mais efficace. Pour le repas du midi vous ne pouvez qu'avoir des chips et des paninis. Le personnel est serviable et agréable. Seul bémol les toilettes sont à l'étage et l'escalier pour y accéder est très raide sans aucun moyen d'accès simple pour des personnes a mobilité réduite.

Avevo letto prima di partire le recensioni su questo pub e devo riconoscere che non ha deluso le mie aspettative, cibo ottimo abbondante con bevanda compresa ,dipendenti molto gentili e disponibili. Ho cenato 2 volte e se dovesdi tornare a londra ci tornrtei .vorrei solo informare i viaggiatori che hanno dei figli minorenni che devono essere fuori dal locale alle 21, perché e vietato ai minori fermarsi all'interno dei pub dopo le 21..

Bella serata bell'ambiente. Ottimo cibo nn si esce con la fame. Da consigliare a tutti. Piatto unico che comprende la bevanda con una spesa mediamente di 8 pound a testa

Staying at the local Ibis, so looking for an evening meal and a pint. Offered a tasteing glass of two guest ales and made my choice. Went to pay and a regular commented on my wallet (unusual to have a Scottish Saltire in East London, I presume) Got chatting, and, as they say, the rest is history. Many drinks of excellent IPA and a couple of whiskies later, realised that had completely forgotten to order food.Went back the following night, had to have a different ale, but met a completely different crowd of customers, and had an equally enjoyable banter with them.Great place, a 'proper pub', but I really must try the food next time!

We're down the road at nearby Leyton Orient for the football but we're not only doing the 92 - visiting a new football ground, we're also doing the 900 - trying to visit as many spoons around the country as we can.... and according to Wetherspoon pub finder, this one is the nearest to the ground. A quick flick around Google Street shows us that there's a civic car park to the rear of the pub and so here we are.I'd agree its a pub for the locals, no doubt. Seems to me that there's little in the area to do otherwise; there's no major shopping centre and no attraction nearby that will attract passing punters in. First impression is that Leyton town is little more than a crossroads on the map for people going somewhere else with just a few shops nearby tailored to serve the local diverse community. So we park up just after noon. The bollards on the car park are tight for a car and set to deter anything much bigger. Plan was to have a look around, go for a lunch in the spoons and then on to the ground. We could be just over the 2 hours so that's a fiver gone already.The walk around Leyton took about half an hour tops so we head back to the pub. First problem we get is for the good lady - who has just had a knee operation - is that there is no ground floor disabled toilet provision here and its a steep flight of stairs up to the loos. I must say though that the toilets are quite good once you get there.But we order or drinks anyway and as there's no menus set out on the tables, its a bit of a treasure hunt to see if food is indeed available - but we deduce it is - it must be - and other reviewer's substantiate this. As for any atmosphere, its still a bit quiet as you'd reasonably expect so early in the day. Perhaps a dozen of the locals in the placeBut given the loos situation, we decided that it wasn't fair to stay and dine if it meant another ascent of the stairs again later - so we drank up and left for somewhere else. And me begrudging a fiver for the car park when a quid would have been enough. And in all honesty that's a shame because I bet this place has a tale to tell had we been here on another day at another time.

We decided to go here for an evening meal, as it was a wetherspoons, and we have had some great experiences in them.When we go to the pub, it was a little bit of a 'locals pub', my partner afterwards said that she didn't like the way that people looked at us as we went in...The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was okay, the portions weer not up to the standarsd that they are in my local wetherspoons, and my partners daughter didn't like her food here. The beer was good, with a good choice.The reason that the pub only gets 3 stars, is because it could do with a bit of an overhaul, it is looking quite dated, and scruffy in places, as well as the fact that it didn't 'feel' family friendly.

Ayant réservé une nuit à l'hôtel Ibis proche, nous souhaitions dîner dans un vrai pub.L'autocollant TripAdvisor sur la porte nous a rassuré et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Ambiance chaleureuse, tables pleines avec nos amis anglais sirotant de pintes en jouant ou dînant. Carte très complète et claire, grand choix de bière anglaise délicieuse. Vous commandez au comptoir, payer directly et partez vous rasseoir.Nous avions commandé 3 plats type burgers et 3 bières. Les assiettes sont arrivées copieuses, la viande était goûtue (un peu cuite), les frites succulentes et une salade d'accompagnement fraîche. Addition : moins de 20 livres ! Bravo.Pour info, un des serveurs est fan de Newcastle et de l'OL et ils apprécient les frenchies.

É um PUB típico Londrina, com excelente comida, boa cerveja e gente legal.Fica lotado nas noites de sexta.Gostei muito e recomendo.

Melhor roast half-chicken que já comi em pubs aqui na Inglaterra. Fritas, arroz e o frango. A lasanha acompanhada de salada foi a primeira vez que vi também.Tentamos o lugar na sexta-feira e não conseguimos nenhuma mesa, mesmo sendo muito cedo.

Questa birreria-pub situaua nella zona Leyton di Londra (zona 3 della metro) è stata veramente una piacevolissima sorpresa durante il nostro soggiorno nella capitale inglese. Il nostro albergo si trovava ad un centinaio di metri o poco più da questo locale e già la gentile signorina della reception dell'hotel ce lo aveva consigliato. Spesse volte abbiamo cenato in questo locale sempre con soddisfazione. Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti, il cibo ottimo, buona la birra e buono anche il servizio. Per cenare in due non abbiamo mai speso più di 15 sterline, a volte ce la siamo cavata con 10 pur alzandoci da tavola sazi. Ogni giorno c'è una combinazione composta da un piatto unico con carne, verdure e salse e una bevanda che costa circa 6 o 7 sterline! Il piatto gigante di carne comprende bistecche di maiale e vitello, salsiccia, uova purè di patate o piselli e altre verdure: é abbondantissimo e costa una dozzina di sterline.... per i prezzi di Londra è veramente poco. utto è ben cucinato e l'ambiente è simpatico ed accogliente. Se siete in quella zona o se non vi disturba una mezz'oretta di metro dal centro di Londra, ve lo consiglio: ad esempio, dalla fermata della metropolitana di Picadilly Circus, potete prendere la Victoria Line fino al capolinea di Whaltamstow Central e poi il bus 48: dopo poche fermate, il bus gira a destra e, appena scesi, vi trovate a pochi passi dal locale. Fomos ao pub pois estávamos hospedados no Hotel Ibis, bem próximo. O lugar é demais, a atmosfera é incrível e fomos muito bem atendidos! Ótimas cervejas e o fish & chips também estava muito bom! Adoramos o clima de um tradicional pub inglês!

I have been going to this particular public house for some time (nearly 17 years) and usually everyone from all walks of life and cultures are well respected. Recently however, certain members of staff seem to treat the bar area as a playground, while sometimes finding 'noisy' customers to be irritating they often gather at the end of the bar, squawking like schoolkids with a character who seems to have a Svengali affect on at least two of the girls. Whilst at times this can be somewhat amusing it can be annoying if people are waiting to be served. On occasion waiting customers have been told that staff are on 'a break', in which case why are they still behind the bar? Staff very often 'pick' who that want to serve, the only time i have had that experience is in the holiday season at Clacton where younger Wetherspoon staff seem to serve someone they might like and leave the 'old fogeys' to later. Guest ales are usually a hit and miss affair as can be expected, but the better beers like Abbott are usually very well kept. Meals are usually another 'hit or miss' affair but i can certainly recommend the Angus Steak and certainly very good news now 'Steak Night' is every night now (rules at Wetherspoons change so quickly but true on Nov 28th 2013). As time goes on the menu's choice has became less and very often items are 'off the menu'. However you usually get what you pay for.

I stayed down the road at the Ibis hotel and would have eaten in however they did not cater for this. I find this a bit strange given that in France Ibis specialise in food.However their loss was my gain in that I found a Wetherspoons pub just a few yards down the road.What to say, great food, great beer, great service.

Prix imbattable dans ce pub de l'East London, à cote de l'Ibis Leyton, on a bien mangé et l'accueil était très agréable

ottimo pub , dove respiri la vera aria del pub inglese , dal personale , ai clienti tutti tranquilli, e sembravano abitudinali. fuori dal circuito dei turisti , il vero pub inglese birre finalmente non standarizzate, e prezzi veramente onesti , struttura niente di clamoroso ma di buon gusto e tradizione.

Classico pub inglese, con gente tranquilla e giusto mix di età. Siamo stati a cena di venerdì sera e, nonostante fosse la tipica serata inglese dedicata al pub, l'atmosfera era molto accogliente e siamo stati molto bene. I frequentatori sono per lo più persone del posto. Si mangia molto bene, soprattutto la carne, e non si spende molto. Con la bistecca in omaggio una pinta di birra!!!
