Drouthy's in Glasgow City

As a bar I imagine it is good. But in terms of food, really move on. The mac & cheese is very bland, the small salad offered consists of 3 leaves of lamb's lettuce and three pieces of watermelon, the three bowls of fries (very generous) are completely frozen (priced at £10 anyway).

The service was excellent didn't have long to wait at the bar for drinks and staff were attentive. The food we ordered came inside of 10 mins after ordering. While both meals were ok,we found that they went cold pretty quickly and I had to leave some of mine. The atmosphere was typical of a busy bar,most people watching the football and horse racing on the tvs.

A great feeling pub in the centre of Glasgow with a wonderful atmosphere and healthy mix of locals with visitors. The staff were very helpful in helping me choose a drink and were friendly throughout. The food was mostly great. I ordered the Balmoral chicken and haggis, all of which was flavoursome, but the vegetables very much looked like yesterday’s leftovers. The broccoli was yellow and the carrots were rock hard.

Great little pub! Carly behind the bar gave us excellent service, so many laughs! Special mention goes to Dacin’ Tony for his banter. Scottish pubs are the best.

Fantastic atmosphere, traditional pub. Great for sports fans as plenty TVs. We came for the food and were not disappointed, was excellent value for money. Cait and Co. we very attentive. Thank you. WIll be back next time in Glasgow.

Super friendly, helpful staff. I came for a meal and a drink shortly after my 18th. The read headed woman Was able to talk me through the flavours and types of gin that they sold and food was delicious. Will return again

Stopped off the day before flying back to Australia, had the best Scottish Breakfast. Super quality bacon, fresh vine tomatoes, perfectly cooked egg, yummy sausage and amazing haggis. Presentation, flavour and speed of delivery was 100%. The lady who served me was friendly, helpful and everything I love about Scottish hospitality. It's near everything, prices were incredibly low for the quality of food and size of the portions. Lovely fresh orange juice n cappuccino to accompany. I would definitely recommend to anyone! Thank you, I'll be back.

Proper little boozer. Stout lovers have to try Belhaven Black. It's a gritty old school pub. Can't comment on the food as we only had drinks but we'll worth a pint on your way past. Staff were friendly. Didn't see anyone get glassed so that's a bonus

Went with my brother for dinner before heading to the O2 academy. Busy pub with some local characters. Staff behind the bar were friendly and very helpful. Food was great and so were the drinks. Great start to our night and would definitely be back again. Special mention to Hazel who was fantastic 👍

We had a beautiful meal yesterday (22/12/24). The steak pie was delicious,as was the Mac& cheese, also the fish and chips. The table service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this pub. ( That was our second visit)

Done some Christmas shopping in town, then headed into Dorothy's for a quick bite and a few drinks before heading home. Great wee pub prices good and Guinness was spot on too!! Special shout out to Regan who looked after us, couldn't do enough for you. Always drop in here on way to queen street station when we're in the town, highly recommend 👍👍

We popped in for a breakfast roll on Tuesday morning. We were served by Leah and Caitlin. Lovely staff, we were served at table..lovely hot roll. ..Oh and gin and tonic.. delicious 😋

Visited Drouthy’s a few times week 8- 12 December. Good service of beer and meal even though it was packed. Special mention to Logan, he did a cracking job looking after us.

Had food and drinks here on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Very pleasant staff even though they were rushed off their feet. Leah, our waitress, was absolutely delightful! Food was good with nice presentation. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We popped in for drinks and lunch. We both opted for steak pie which was served with chips or mash and peas. It was really nice pub food. I had sticky toffee pudding with custard to follow. Yummy. OH loves Belhaven black beer which they Have on draught. Regan our waiter was fantastic. Really lovely guy who went above and beyond. We will definitely return and hopefully he will be on. Well worth a visit just to meet him. Prices really good. Service exceptional.

Regan was an absolute delight. He was attentive,polite, interesting and helpful. Food was great if you are looking for a Scottish pub meal.

After a great day, about 12 of us that had spent a considerable amount of money, a female member of staff with a facial piercing and short hair appeared and "shouted" "right i need you out of here" as apparently the tables we were sitting at were reserved from 6pm, despite the fact we had never seen a sign on the table and had been there for a couple of hours. Her attitude was terrible, with zero customer service! It ruined the night and suffice to say i will not be back. Really poor customer service

We didn't eat so I can't comment on the food, I try to visit Drouthy's every time I'm in town. It's a great pub with friendly customers, brilliant staff and a great atmosphere. Even if you're just nipping in for a quick drink or spending a few hours in there... you're warmly welcomed.

Visited Drouthys in Glasgow this evening and me and my party received such a warm welcome from the restaurant host Emma. We were taken to our table by Emma who fully informed us that there was nothing missing from the menu today. We really enjoyed our time in Drouthys and Emma is a real stand out to this establishment. Alex the bartender who was dispensing our drinks was very competent and friendly and really should be the face of this bar.

A few screens for the fitba & friendly staff with a good atmosphere & they also have Estrella Galicia. Which is always a bonus. The best Cerveza in Spain.

Great atmosphere. Hazel has tremendous patter, ashame she supports st midden. She assures me her husband is an excellent golfer however he was defeated on the 15th hole today.

I enjoy the vibe in Drouthy's, it's a relaxed, friendly pub. Out with my brothers for a quick catch up and some lunch. Good selection on the menu, food served hot, and plates were cleared by all, even though the portion sizes are very decent. Our quick catch up turned into a longer session and Logan made sure we did not go thirsty. Thanks Logan, you took great care of us.

Logan served my husband and I and couldn’t fault not fault his service, he was great from start to finish, and with a friendly smile throughout.

After walking around Glasgow for a bit we decided to pop in to a local pub. We were greeted at the door by a very personable young man named Logan. He was great at recommending a delicious local gin for me and a stout for my husband. He took the time to chat with us for a while even though the pub was quite busy. We highly recommend this pub and hope you have the chance to meet Logan.

Nice pub in central Glasgow. Very busy as football was on. Horse racing on the other screens too. Loads of TV's to watch the sport. Guinness was not bad at all, friend had an IPA which was also very good. Very busy but managed to find a seat. Served quickly by friendly bar staff. Reasonable prices. Is a good pub if you like your sport and glasses with the big red T on them. We were after something a bit more lively which we found after a short walk. Came for the Guinness and it was not bad at all.

Popped in for food before a concert. It was very busy but the food arrived in minutes. Staff were excellent

Felt like an old fashioned man's pub. Good pint of Belhaven and the food was decent. Service was excellent, as the pints kept coming.

Gutted ! As someone who came in to get the large breakfast often I’m disappointed to see they don’t do it anymore and have replaced it by a much smaller version. CHARGE MORE FOR IT IF YOU ARE LOSING MONEY ! I’d gladly pay extra for it. It is a great wee pub and the staff amazing.

Wonderful little spot just off the square. Perfect gluten-free menu. Staff is very attentive and aware of allergies. Food came quickly, and drinks were well and plentiful. Good atmosphere adults only.

A really great and cozy sports bar in the center of Glasgow! Authentic and populated by locals - at least that was my impression! We learned early on on our tour that the Scots are generally a very friendly people and we were able to experience it again here. You get and pay for the drinks at the bar, which has the advantage that it's much quicker. The best seat at the window was offered to us by the couple who saw us while looking around and searching, identified us as Germans and spoke to us. We didn't eat anything, so no review for this. We had a "Beefeater Spritz", an "Aperol Spritz", a beer and a "Chardonnay". Everything was very good - there was a little too much ice in the glasses for our taste, but that was the case everywhere - just unusual for us. In any case, full recommendation!

Was in mood for a steak pie, checked it out was a bit worried as it said Belhaven steak and ale pie and not keen on the ale side of it but was advised by regan that there was very little in it, and to be fair you hardly tasted it I got chips with no peas wasn't offered any extra, wanted the cheesy garlic ciabatta but they never had any ciabatta in, so ordered coleslaw instead. Steak pie and chips was decent portion size and was good, not amazing but good coleslaw was ok but was more like red coleslaw lol I ordered sticky toffee pudding and custard for dessert and was a little disappointed the sticky toffee was served cold in a warm custard which was very little amount. But otherwise tasty. There was a 5 minute between taking away my plates from dinner to asking me if I wanted anything else by the girl, also was asked if everything was OK by another girl after my 2nd or 3rd bite into my meal, overall good experience atmosphere was good, and I enjoyed the food. So I'm happy overall.

We came across this pub which immediately seemed traditional and not touristy, so we stopped for dinner and two pints. Very good, excellent meat. However, we didn't understand why after we had finished eating we stayed for a moment to relax and finish our beers and the dark-haired waitress arrived and, with a not exactly friendly air (also a novelty for us in Scotland, where everyone is so friendly), told us he asks if we want to order more or pay, we reply that maybe we will drink more later. After 5 minutes he comes back and asks us again if we continue drinking or pay with a bored look, my boyfriend was still finishing his pint, my glass however was reluctantly taken away. In the end we paid and went to drink in another pub where as usual we were welcomed into relaxation.

Fairly standard pub I walked by a few times unsure but after entering sat down and immediately was welcomed, ordered a drink that arrived quickly by friendly staff. Ordered food and came out in nice time still tasting good for the price. TV’s on with sports and reasonably busy but still comfortable and not overbearing

Travel to Glasgow from England on a regular basis. Always head here for food and drinks. Beer, atmosphere and food excellent. Always made to feel welcome by the staff and the people of Glasgow.

Despite being in the centre of Glasgow the restaurant has almost a local feel. The food and beers were good and not too expensive

Spectacular! We reserved a table to watch a football game and they treated us extremely well, all the waiters are very friendly, close and magnificent. It's a shame we couldn't try the food because the kitchen was already closed, we'll have to come back to do it 😉

What a great pub! Loved the fish & chips. The beer was cold and tasty. We got there just before the lunch crowd and we're served quickly.

We booked for Father's day and had a lovely time. One if us us partially deaf and we asked for a quiet table which we got and the staff also came over to double check it was OK which was a really nice touch. The food was great and there us a really good atmosphere we'll definitely be back.

Great food! We split the Steak and Ale pie and added 2 side salads. Absolutely delicious! Wish we wouldn’t have shared 🤣 Our waitress was wonderful and such a caring and hard working young lady.

Traditional Scottish pub with a good variety of reasonably-priced beers and multiple tvs for watching football. Crowded during a match, as expected, but reasonably well-behaved - expect to be jostled, but not abused. Great spot!🍻
