Drouthy's in Glasgow City

I enjoy the vibe in Drouthy's, it's a relaxed, friendly pub. Out with my brothers for a quick catch up and some lunch. Good selection on the menu, food served hot, and plates were cleared by all, even though the portion sizes are very decent. Our quick catch up turned into a longer session and Logan made sure we did not go thirsty. Thanks Logan, you took great care of us.

Great atmosphere. Hazel has tremendous patter, ashame she supports st midden. She assures me her husband is an excellent golfer however he was defeated on the 15th hole today.

Great place for food and drinks, Logan served us most of the day....very friendly and chatty. Would definitely recommend 👌

After walking around Glasgow for a bit we decided to pop in to a local pub. We were greeted at the door by a very personable young man named Logan. He was great at recommending a delicious local gin for me and a stout for my husband. He took the time to chat with us for a while even though the pub was quite busy. We highly recommend this pub and hope you have the chance to meet Logan.

Nice pub in central Glasgow. Very busy as football was on. Horse racing on the other screens too. Loads of TV's to watch the sport. Guinness was not bad at all, friend had an IPA which was also very good. Very busy but managed to find a seat. Served quickly by friendly bar staff. Reasonable prices. Is a good pub if you like your sport and glasses with the big red T on them. We were after something a bit more lively which we found after a short walk. Came for the Guinness and it was not bad at all.

Popped in for food before a concert. It was very busy but the food arrived in minutes. Staff were excellent

Felt like an old fashioned man's pub. Good pint of Belhaven and the food was decent. Service was excellent, as the pints kept coming.

Gutted ! As someone who came in to get the large breakfast often I’m disappointed to see they don’t do it anymore and have replaced it by a much smaller version. CHARGE MORE FOR IT IF YOU ARE LOSING MONEY ! I’d gladly pay extra for it. It is a great wee pub and the staff amazing.

Stopped by for a quick drink, stayed for 2 and some snacks. The service was friendly, fast and very welcoming. If you are in the area, I recommend dropping by for a drink or 2 :)

Wonderful little spot just off the square. Perfect gluten-free menu. Staff is very attentive and aware of allergies. Food came quickly, and drinks were well and plentiful. Good atmosphere adults only.

This pub has a good variety of beers. Both local beers and imported. Its a very nice pub to visit.

Impossible to return with a child, even accompanied by their parents. For French people on vacation, it's hard to understand.

A really great and cozy sports bar in the center of Glasgow! Authentic and populated by locals - at least that was my impression! We learned early on on our tour that the Scots are generally a very friendly people and we were able to experience it again here. You get and pay for the drinks at the bar, which has the advantage that it's much quicker. The best seat at the window was offered to us by the couple who saw us while looking around and searching, identified us as Germans and spoke to us. We didn't eat anything, so no review for this. We had a "Beefeater Spritz", an "Aperol Spritz", a beer and a "Chardonnay". Everything was very good - there was a little too much ice in the glasses for our taste, but that was the case everywhere - just unusual for us. In any case, full recommendation!

Was in mood for a steak pie, checked it out was a bit worried as it said Belhaven steak and ale pie and not keen on the ale side of it but was advised by regan that there was very little in it, and to be fair you hardly tasted it I got chips with no peas wasn't offered any extra, wanted the cheesy garlic ciabatta but they never had any ciabatta in, so ordered coleslaw instead. Steak pie and chips was decent portion size and was good, not amazing but good coleslaw was ok but was more like red coleslaw lol I ordered sticky toffee pudding and custard for dessert and was a little disappointed the sticky toffee was served cold in a warm custard which was very little amount. But otherwise tasty. There was a 5 minute between taking away my plates from dinner to asking me if I wanted anything else by the girl, also was asked if everything was OK by another girl after my 2nd or 3rd bite into my meal, overall good experience atmosphere was good, and I enjoyed the food. So I'm happy overall.

We came across this pub which immediately seemed traditional and not touristy, so we stopped for dinner and two pints. Very good, excellent meat. However, we didn't understand why after we had finished eating we stayed for a moment to relax and finish our beers and the dark-haired waitress arrived and, with a not exactly friendly air (also a novelty for us in Scotland, where everyone is so friendly), told us he asks if we want to order more or pay, we reply that maybe we will drink more later. After 5 minutes he comes back and asks us again if we continue drinking or pay with a bored look, my boyfriend was still finishing his pint, my glass however was reluctantly taken away. In the end we paid and went to drink in another pub where as usual we were welcomed into relaxation.

Fairly standard pub I walked by a few times unsure but after entering sat down and immediately was welcomed, ordered a drink that arrived quickly by friendly staff. Ordered food and came out in nice time still tasting good for the price. TV’s on with sports and reasonably busy but still comfortable and not overbearing

Travel to Glasgow from England on a regular basis. Always head here for food and drinks. Beer, atmosphere and food excellent. Always made to feel welcome by the staff and the people of Glasgow.

Despite being in the centre of Glasgow the restaurant has almost a local feel. The food and beers were good and not too expensive

Spectacular! We reserved a table to watch a football game and they treated us extremely well, all the waiters are very friendly, close and magnificent. It's a shame we couldn't try the food because the kitchen was already closed, we'll have to come back to do it 😉

What a great pub! Loved the fish & chips. The beer was cold and tasty. We got there just before the lunch crowd and we're served quickly.

We booked for Father's day and had a lovely time. One if us us partially deaf and we asked for a quiet table which we got and the staff also came over to double check it was OK which was a really nice touch. The food was great and there us a really good atmosphere we'll definitely be back.

Great food! We split the Steak and Ale pie and added 2 side salads. Absolutely delicious! Wish we wouldn’t have shared 🤣 Our waitress was wonderful and such a caring and hard working young lady.

Traditional Scottish pub with a good variety of reasonably-priced beers and multiple tvs for watching football. Crowded during a match, as expected, but reasonably well-behaved - expect to be jostled, but not abused. Great spot!🍻

If you interested about the real Glasgow, this pub brings the vibe! We tried the breakfast, and i was happy for the vegetarian option. It was tasty.

The perfect pub to watch all the sports as they have numerous tvs around to showcase everything. They also have an area outside where you can also enjoy a few pints. Highly recommend and definitely one of the best pubs I've been to in Glasgow.. the staff are so friendly and make you feel really welcome.. you won't be disappointed if you go with mates or family.

Always get a great pint of Guinness in Drouthy's. It's my go to place in Glasgow to watch the football. Also, I've eaten numerous tasty breakfasts in the pub over the years but on this occasion I was only in for a pint. Service is always fast and friendly.

Didn't eat here, just the odd bit of scotch. The atmosphere was nice but the staff seemed a little too keen to close at the end of the evening, and ushered us out while we still had drinks to finish.

Great Scottish Pub. We didn't have any food on our two visits, but the menu looked great, and the food being served to the neighboring table looked great. Good selection of Scottish drought beer and reasonably priced Like any Scottish pub, this place can get loud when busy. On one of our visits, there was a dog in the pub that kept barking. Didn't know it was a dog-friendly pub, but the pub has a great comforting atmosphere, nonetheless.

Having been in this pub many times for several months, we had been in on Wednesday 17th April 2024, spent approx £50 between myself and friens, he has 2 hearing aids and when he approached someone esle with a yappy dog because it reverberates through his hearing aids and gives him pain, nothing against dog owner but the female barmaid took real exception to him she said he was shouting at the dog owner when he actually speaks a bit louder due to his poor hearing, and she took it upon herself to say we will not be served again and she actually placed the barking dog above customers who have going there regular for months and months, she was very obnoxious and was litening to nothing and being just nasty, they have lost custom as we have never any intentions of every frequesnting the place again, not hte best barmaid I have ever came accross, bad manners too paying customers and backing up a non paying dog

Booked a table yesterday morning for 6 pm last night. On arrival, the staff told us they had no knowledge of the booking. I showed the staff member my email confirmation. After some investigation, apparently, I received a phone call to tell me they couldn't accommodate us. Checking back my phone, I did have two missed calls...from Jersey!! No email or text. No offer of a later table or any kind of compromise. My wife and I are fairly regular customers in Drouthys. We usually make it our go-to place to start our night. It won't happen again. Very disappointed.

Went to see the football match. Had few beers. Very nice atmosphere and really good pint.

Ended up in this bar by chance. Totally delicious drinks, very attentive service, rustic atmosphere and simply pleasant, nice atmosphere 👍🏻 Highly recommended: the Level Head IPA 🍺

We had just gotten to Glasgow after our overnight flight, after a walk around in downtown, we stopped at Drouthy’s for dinner. It couldn’t have been better! The fish and chips and burger were wonderful and the service was fantastic! Ross our server was fun and engaging. All around great time!

Just brilliant, here for the weekend and came in and had the pie and mash which was absolutely delicious, bar was busy and fun. Then came back next day for the breakfast, while the Rangers/Celtic game was playing, which definitely didn't disappoint. Service was extremely happy, friendly and really good. Table service was great. Atmosphere was brilliant. Would really recommend a visit, you go in once and you will go again. All the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful 👏 10 out of 10 👍 whoever owns this bar should be proud of their staff. 😃

What a lovely place, glad we stopped by for brekkie on our way to catch our train home. Staff Nik, Ross,Caitlin and Jimmy all so friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was delicious and so cheap, so thank you all we will definitely be back on our next trip. 10/10 guys. Thank you.

The vibes were amazing and we got the Jameson's ginger ale and lime deal, the bartenders were so nice sorting it out for us. Music is extremely loud tho.

I visited this pub tonight l come in at least twice a week stuggled to get served a very cheeky obtuctive customer customer who took up two peoples position at the bar was very abusive about people getting served l finnaly got served when l put up with his abusive l removed myself from his and his colleagues space at the bar this bar does not have a big serving area l moved to area nearby but was approached by a bar person who gave me my money back and asked me to leave l was embarrased and disgusted l use belhaven bars regulary who was this special customer he was rude obtrusive but seemed to be favoured by the barperson female with long dark hair l was alone he had freinds with him maybe regular customers dont count i was told to leave and given my money back l am embarresed and disgusted by bar person l am a ex publican myself and know the trade very well

Came in on Saturday for lunch, service was excellent despite it being very busy and the staff were lovely. They even changed the TV channels to show the F1 upon request. We really enjoyed our food and would definitely recommend!

What can i say that hasn’t already been said about this establishment. Absolute favourite pub in Glasgow - especially the barman lewis (I think he also goes by Scorbie?) He poured me a cracking pint of Greene Kings very own Level Head Lager and looked terrific while doing it
