Food was ok, had the vegan burger which was edible, not fantastic, the veg curry was good. Service was rushed but attentive atmosphere was busy noisy

Sunday afternoon staff was not very helpful when looking for a larger table for my family, and I sent the wrong order to the table, but no apologies. Also, very small portions , food just OK would not rush back

Had breakfast here a few times and its always been ok. Reasonably priced, nice staff and nice atmosphere. Recommended.

I ordered a meal but no food was given to me. The address and table number were correct. I asked three staff members and they all said they couldn't solve it and they didn't know how to solve it.

Steak club Tuesday. My routine - to visit some Wetherspoon for a mix grill😋 Staff super friendly, fast service trough their app, nice atmosphere and vibe.

I ordered a festive pizza and it was gooey and tasteless. No one came up to check with us if our lunch was ok. Halloumi fries did not taste as a restaurant made meal either. The whole thing tasted worse than my supermarket bought chicken nuggets and fries. Weather spoons is going downhill again food wise.

Nicest bacon I have had for years. Breakfast is mighty. 5/5 Staff all sound and clean place.

Love this place! Spoons was one of the first to do app ordering and they do it the best. Never any mistakes, food comes quickly and they have such lovely staff here. Obviously the toilets are well far away up the stairs but that's the charm of Spoons!

Very clean and welcoming. Unfortunately there was an issue in the kitchen. Contractors were working to get it back up & running but I could not try the food there. Would like to go back.

Very busy Wetherspoons with music 🎶

Never again, myself and my husband go to curry club quite often so we decided to go to society rooms on Halloween . We ordered 2 chicken tikka masala when it came the poppadoms were swimming in grease the nan bread was cold and soggy and the rice was cold along with cold curry, I pointed this out to the server and she said I will get you another meal. Same happened again poppadoms swimming in grease, cold rice 🤦 . The person that made this couldn't have been a chef to send food out in this way. If he is a qualified chef he should be ashamed of himself after all he's not making it from scratch they are pre made all he needs to do is heat it up 🤦. PS have your oil hot and you shouldn't get poppadoms swimming in grease, definitely won't be back there for curry night 😡.

El personal más rudo que he conocido. A uno de los nuestros le dijeron que estaban bloqueando un pasillo hablando con alguien. Se llevó la comida antes de que se terminara. Cuando intentamos quejarnos, el gerente nos dijo que no iba a escuchar nada de lo que teníamos que decir. Nos abordaron 2 miembros groseros del personal cuando nos íbamos y nos dijeron que nos prohibieron. Debimos gastar alrededor de 350 libras en el lugar, no les daría otro centavo. Mucho mejores lugares para estar en Glasgow id aconsejado u ir a cualquier otro lugar

The usual good mix of decent food and well priced drinks including many guest ales. Only thing was on the Saturday evening we visited they cranked the music up and it’s a bit too loud to talk.

It's a weatherspoons so it really isn't anything other than ok but the atmosphere was uncanny.

Love coming in here for a bite to eat & a drink or 2. Always good friendly service & delicious food. Recommended 👍♥️

Always busy so feels like a good atmosphere, good place to meet and catch up in town. Prices are always good as you expect. Food is never amazing but always good for what you pay.

Usual Witherspoon's food and service. Very handy city location.

Member of staff was very rude to my friend and practically threw the food on the table 🙄 Another friend spoke to management about her behaviour,in the wrong job if she doesn't like dealing with the public.⁹ And I shd know as I work with the public also!

Cheap and cheerful! Pub it's self is in a nice building.

Great place. For food drink and service.

They know how to fry a runny egg for their muffins. Sadly a large group of very loud drunk laughing winos (at 11am) ruined any atmosphere in the place. A quiet word from management might have helped..

Good food and drink at very reasonable price

JD wetherspoon is soo bad that it is not funny anymore. Got a steak (the upgraded one - do not remember the same)- 15 or 16 pounds. Small, overcooked, about half of it could be eaten, the rest was fatty parts and chewables. No more JDW attempts from now on, it is just too bad.

This is a really nice place located in a nice part of Glasgow.

The lighting and music become club-like on a Saturday night I was there, good upbeat pop remixes and area to dance. It does get busy and tables might be limited, but lots of space to stand.

Great large space if you've got a large party. Cheap drink, great service. Grab a table if your stating as they go quick.

Just a word of caution when choosing the shawarma, as tasty as it was...it's spicy, like, very spicy! I had to more or less down a soda water to help my mouth out! It was nice though.🙂👍🏻

Never given a spoons such a good review before, but this one in Glasgow is amazing. We had 4 hours to kill while waiting for a coach & we decided to get a bite to eat & take advantage of the bottomless hot drinks. Its quite a swanky place, & unlike other spoons i have been in the clientele are very presentable, I'm no snob, I dont mind the odd drunk (have been the odd drunk on occasions) but some spoons seem like a hub for incoherently drunken chancers. This is a nice setting on West George Street, bar staff are chatty & pleasant without being imposing. Will definitely drop in again next time I'm in Glasgow.

Not your usual Wetherspoons-type conversion of a fine old building but a modern 'space filler' building in an otherwise very pleasant late Georgian/early Victorian street close to the city centre and not far from the Central Station. Clearly i was disappointed with the ambiance of the place but daresay it may have been due to its layout, looking more like a large eating house! I clearly am not a fan! I do have to sat the service and effort of the staff was of the usual high standard but there was for me little atmosphere. Perhaps my two visits there (once around lunchtime on a Monday (June 2023l), and again in the early evening on Tuesday 23 July 2024) so i may have missed something its regular patrons get!

I'm a big fan of wetherspoons but this is one of the worst. I ordered a gourmet steak and half of it was fat and gristle. The onion rings were 3 tiny ones and I got one small mushroom and half a dozen fries. Avoid this at all costs. When I complained to the manager he said there's nothing I can do. What a terrible attitude. I'd give it no stars if it were possible

I come here quite often with my Mum & Sister. I suffer from Severe Vasovagal & passed out at the table. The Manager & Staff were amazing! Thank you all so much! Sandra Debernardi

We visited this pub/restaurant with family and the staff were helpful with supplying a high chair and colouring sheets with games for the kids, as well as kids' menus. Service was prompt and the food was good. Great prices as usual from Weatherspoons.

Very busy staff were great tables cleaned promptly. Toilets were nice. Better than most Spoons I have been in in Largs, Irvine and Glasgow city centre.

Really nice place. Great food, and I really liked that you get a lot for very cheap. I recommend hot drinks with free refills.

Quick bite to eat.. service was good, food is standard Weatherspoon..

Drinks were great, this Irish waitress came over and gave us a corona and a blue lagoon. We drank them after 10 mins of them being there and as soon as we’d finished she hounded us to pay for them as “they got sent to wrong table” even though it was completely her fault. Asked for manager and assuming he just laughed at her considering we never saw this “manager”. Absolute joke considering it’s fault of the staff.

Barmaid working the early shift on 11/06/2024 had some attitude on her. Chef mike over cooked the breakfast(who microwaves bacon). Draft drink was disgusting and when I went back up to say I got nothing but cheek. Avoid if possible

Breakfast was just the right size, and the refillable tea option is perfect for the morning after a night out!

Gave this 5 as the staff are excellent .Quick service we trained ..Although very busy the atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy.Best wetherspoonns Glasgow that i have found .

Not enough choice of Gluten Free food, what they did have was a disgrace, plenty of choice if you are Vegan or but not if your Ceoiliac, would not recommend it.

Haven't visited here in years. Hasn't changed at all. Waited several minutes to be served, guy serving was polite enough. Prices were ok and it was a weekend afternoon so atmosphere was OK. Never tried the food so can't comment on that.

A quieter branch of Spoons, where you can talk or just think without needing sign language or texting each other, my hearing is not so good in a crowded environment these days

We have been here several times now, the staff are very efficient and friendly, tables cleared quickly and we're sitting having our breakfast (the miners Benedict is amazing by the way) watching the cleaners hard at work washing doors, cleaning pictures and ledges etc. The place is spotless - much better than our local Wetherspoons in Dundee. We always come here when we visit Glasgow and we highly recommend it

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! We had a few pints and they were delicious. Many varieties of beers, their menu is quite extensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was exceptional, super calm and peaceful.

Getting a bit dated could do with a refurbishment

Nice and quiet when I went on a Monday evening. Food came in decent time and couldn’t complain. Perfect if you wanted a quieter drink.
