Dreams Coffee Lounge in Northampton

After a little shopping trip in the morning; we went looking for somewhere to eat. We eventually found this place and had a Quick Look at the menu before going in. It wasn’t too busy; and had a really nice atmosphere. We both Ordered the Breakfast with a side of white toast which was really good; only thing for me was I wish the toast was warmer to spread butter on easier. Service was really good also; from sitting down to leaving. We was seen to in a timely manner; and food arrived not long after that. My only small gripe was the selection on soft fizzy drinks. I personally don’t drink coke; so I went with the “Victorian Lemonade” which was more sour than refreshing. Paid £25 for two meals and two drinks. Portion size felt a bit small at first but for the quality products you receive it’s definitely worth it. Will visit again when I’m next in Northampton.

This review is on behalf of my good friend Joe. We are currently at our local dog shelter enjoy a lovely vodka shandy (50/50 lemonade and vodka by the pint). Anyways, Joe started talking about how he went to Dreams Coffee Lounge & it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC (His exact words). I know for a fact that Joe can be picky about his coffee, this one time I got him a flat white instead of a cappuccino and he Locked me in his basement for 2 weeks. Such a tart! Anyways, apparently here, he had the most perfect cappuccino. The temperature, the chocolate and the coffee... DELIGHTFUL! The only criticism he had was that there wasn't any door handles on the train home? Thank you Dream's for making my friends dream come true!

A lovely, friendly cafe. Service was efficient and food delicious. Would definitely recommend the toasted falafel wrap. Yummy !

So over the Christmas period we decided to start a Breakfast club up. This was the 1st one. Was a great breakfast. Totally recommend Only downside was that I don’t drink tea or coffee so had to have water due to the soft drinks selection they had. This is 100% me and not the cafes fault. Will definitely revisit

Enjoyable lunch frienly staff had to wait 15mins for order but it was lunch time and they were very busy.

Very nice and cozy place. Staff super nice and friendly. Very inviting atmosphere. Coffee was quite nice. Food was little bit underwhelming in presentation, taste was just ok. Definitely could hear microwave after order so it says a lot about preparation process. Overall can recommend. Would come again for nice cup of coffee.

The food served is good money value, the atmosphere was lovely, the servers were thoughtful and the wait for food was short. Gluten free cakes (that were way too sweet so only order one or you will go into a food coma) were a highlight. Top place in Northampton to play Pokemon Moon for an hour or so.

Had an iced frappe and vegetarian breakfast followed by dairy and gluten free carrot cake Both the breakfast and cake were sublime

My daughter is allergic to dairy so finding places to take her for lunch is always a challenge, with the popular coffee shops such as costa having no dairy free food options. Dreams lounge were very good with making sure my daughters sandwich was dairy free and I heard them repeat the fact she was dairy free a lot, which was really reassuring as a mum. Usually I have to double check everything she eats when we’re out but I felt very confident with the girls that served us today. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food given as well, which is always a bonus. Will definitely be back!

Haven't been for awhile but always had a lovely lunch and remembered that the staff were lovely. Not disappointed today. One of if not the best lunch spot in Northampton. I had jacket potato with chicken nsyo and asked if I could have the chicken in the potato and they happily obliged. It was so tasty and everything was fresh and it came with a little salad which was nice. My wife has the special which was Goats cheese red onion chutney panini and she loved it. The staff are very attentive and just want to make it perfect for you.

I’ve been here twice and I would definitely come again and recommend to others! 😊 The cakes are freshly baked by Lisa, very soft and fluffy sponge with delicate tastes in the icing! Nice with a cup of tea ☕️ I also bought a take away cake from here and the cake fits perfectly in the box ☺️✨🌈

Three of us popped in for a light lunch, all that we ate was excellent. The bagels with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and cream cheese were lovely with lots of smoked salmon. The food was so good we took scones home with us which were amazing. Just wish we lived nearer to Northampton so we could visit again.

Fabulous little independent café along the best street in Northampton. Very friendly, quick and professional service. Amazing fry up and lattes. The hunters jacket potato is also excellent. On route home from London, myself and my partner were on the hunt for a good breakfast stop, and we found exactly that! Friendly and welcoming ladies, service immediately upon taking a seat, clean establishment and most importantly breakfast was delicious. We were very happy we stumbled across here 😊

Taking mum for her hospital appointments and had a 2 hour wait in between so we went into Dreams for some lunch. Mum was in her wheelchair outside but it was a hot day and having chemo means she shouldn't sit in the sun. The absolutely amazing staff sorted out a table inside, nothing was too much trouble and we didn't have to wait long for our lunch which was perfection. Absolutely spotless inside and made Mum's day with the care and consideration she was shown. Thank you

Visited this place the other day for food and drink, twice we got told ‘ we won’t be a moment’ , 15 minutes later still nobody to take the order so we just walked out . There was hardly anyone in there so can’t make an excuse that they was really busy, Hence the reason I will not be returning

Called to see Lisa at Dreams Coffee Lounge this morning on a special cake finding mission. She could not help in person, but was very generous with her time and local knowledge, which turned out to uncover exactly what I needed. Had scrambled egg and sausage on toast and it was average quality and not cheap at £7.50. not sure I'd go again.

Visited dreams recently after having a walk through town with family. It is great local cafe with a relaxed atmosphere and we felt welcome from the minute we walked in, staff were super friendly and even gave us a plaster after my mum had cut her finger. Food was very tasty and quickly prepared. Will definitely be visiting again!

Wasn't very forthcoming at the door. I asked if I could sit in for breakfast, was told they aren't serving breakfast and wasn't offered a seat or alternative. I wont assume why, but was not very welcome to me. Safe to say I won't come back here.

Tucked away near centre Northampton is this cosy little gem! Classic modern decor meets warm and cosy atmosphere with friendly and efficient staff! Coffee is sublime and food is delicious! Buzzing waves of activity make it inviting and welcome. The food is well worth the 20min wait!! This will become our new weekend “watering hole” .... lovely!

Lovely little coffee shop selling homemade cakes, jacket potatoes etc. However I would say it’s a little on the expensive side. My mouth dropped open when the person behind the till asked for £3.50 for a slice of home-made cake. Delicious but I was with an elderly friend who, had she known the cost beforehand, would have turned around and left. I realise the rates in a prime town centre location must be high but I’m afraid, this is too costly for some folk, including my elderly friend. Staff are friendly. Great location up St. Giles street, nestled amongst some independent little shops. So as long as you’re happy to pay that for a slice of cake, then I’d recommend it. Our total bill was just under £10 for a hot water with lemon, a hot chocolate, a tea cake and the carrot cake.

Lovely little place to have breakfast with my daughter who is at Northampton University. Found through Google, so happy I searched else wouldn't have found it. Had the eggs Benedict which was delicious and the coffee was also delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Visited here for breakfast after returning my daughter to University. So glad I did. The breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced. Its nice to see locally sourced ingredients on the menu(sausages from a local butcher). I shall be returning here.
