Ordered two carveries and a fish and chips Waited 15 minutes before going up for carvery … which was lovely but we had eaten our meals before the fish and chips even appeared The floor staff were helpful and apologised but the two chefs behind the pizza station thingy were just stood about We ended up having to have the fish and chips as takeaway … Sorry Drawbridge but we won’t be returning

Visited today was the worst carvery we have ever had from here veggies were all hard and tasted like they were old . Yorkshire puddings were also hard and very crispy meat portions were none existent won't be returning shame really as we usually go weekly

Visited on the Saturday night and went to the Sports lounge where there are tvs and a pool table. Then came on Sunday morning for the buffet breakfast. The breakfast pizza was a delight and I wished they done this at my local Stonehouse. We were staying at the Welcome Inn and this was the closest and recommended bh hotel. The staff at the Drawbridge were fantastic & welcoming too! Thankyou.

Awful is the only word to describe this carvery. They clearly don't know what a slice of meat is, as all we received were crumbs. The potatoes were so hard, they couldn't even be cut with a knife. The cauliflower cheese lacked any trace of cheese, and the mashed potatoes both looked and tasted terrible. The food was clearly not fresh and had been reheated multiple times. Overall, it was an incredibly poor experience.

That new manager lee was sound, fantastic service

Food is lovely, staff are very nice and friendly they even went out of their way to accommodate my son who likes certain foods separate, and most places will not do this. Would highly recommend!

Used to love coming here but unfortunately I won't be going again. Ran out of carvery at 5pm, how? I managed to have the last of the gammon and even then it was rock hard. Cauliflower, potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and carrots were also hard. A light fixture was hanging out of the ceiling. Overall not a nice meal, won't be going again. For the first time I left hungry!

Kara was the best bit about the visit, very helpful and a real delight. My friends and I had a great evening and the food wasn't too bad either 😁👍

First time visiting on the off chance, and what a choice to decide on here. We decided to order a margarita pizza, two cheeseburgers and two pepperoni pizzas. There is only one word to describe the food, and that is delicious. We did ask who prepared the food that day, and to pass on our compliments to Kara who cooked the food. My son actually said "this pizza is nicer that domino's and papa johns". He has ASD and a change in foods can be a challenge, but he really enjoyed the pizza. Portion sizes are spot on and the freshness of the food definitely added to the flavour. Would 100% recommend anyone to visit and the waking welcome is second to none too.

The carvery isn’t brilliant for the price, £38 for two adults and a child who’s 5. The meat was fairly nice&the veg was ok but the roast potatoes weren’t they tasted bad and the cauliflower cheese was basically just cauliflower it didn’t taste very cheesy at all. Was disappointed as we were all looking so forward to it, had it have been nicer tasting I would have probably given a better rating. Other than this, the staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was great.

Popped in on Sunday and had a carvery, it was brilliant. The beef was beautiful and the gravy was perfect. We ordered more drinks on the app and there was a slight issue but Adam had it fixed for us in no time. Amazing food and staff would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good carvery

Visited this week, the food was of very poor quality, very unappetising. The pub inside was tired looking and lacked atmosphere. Sorry to say I won’t be visiting again, I’ll stick to the Moorlands at owler bar.

Popped in for lunch while working close to town. Easy enough to order from my phone and the 2 and 3 course deals are an absolute bargain. Ordered myself a pizza that was pretty darn good. It's nice to see them being made in an open kitchen and Rob (who the floor staff advised was the chef who made it) did one hell of a job with it! Will definitely pop back in when in the area for lunch.

Went a few weeks before and the food was OK went back today and the food was awful chips like cardboard and the burger was disgusting partner was waiting for carvary to be served member of staff was to busy on his phone thought they had turned it around in there but no won't be going back alot of money for bad food

Want to thank all the team for today for my mums 70th booked for 38 people on a Saturday gave us a room that was just for us the staff was helpful kind and made us feel welcome the chef was amazing going as fast as he could and food was great thanks again and will definitely be back again xx tgank everyone working there on this special day x

Carvery is very poor; potatoes dried out, meat (beef and turkey) bland and required significant seasoning. Vegetables just satisfactory, stuffing and green beans very dry, turnip dry and the service from some guy was awful. Two people there need to be re-trained as they are clearly incapable. The guy with dark hair and is an assistant manager albeit is very young is great (served me yesterday). Breakfast today was great although for an English brealfast, why should one pay more fof mushrooms?

Great food and service from start to finish, Dylan was so helpful from start to finish of our meal.

Food is good, breakfast and evening menu. 1 of very few places that do fried bread on the breakfast.

I was looking forwards to my meal with my son who I had not seen for a couple of months. We did not read the small print that the 2 and 3 course meals were only Monday to Friday but that was OK as the meal I had decided on was on the ordinary menu. My son had beef burger which looked really dry and thin and I had the cheese and pine nut bake which was very nice. The problem I had was that I wanted this with chips but they were adamant that I could only have the veg from the carvery. I was not happy as I did not know what the problem was giving me chips instead of veg from the carvery. Looking at the vegetables they were terrible. Everything was dried up, the gravy had a thick skin on it it had been stood so long and the peas were so dry a pea shooter would have been useful. I am so disappointed and I am afraid will not be coming again.

Food was bang on! Been back multiple times since and cannot complain one bit! Love the food, nice quiet meal with the other half.

We booked a table for 7pm on a Saturday night. Very quiet on arrival. Went to bar to order carvery told that what was on the servery was accounted for. So tried to order fish and chips to be told that they didn't have that either. Alot of annoyed customers. Saturday night and there was one manager and one member of waiting staff on. Within 10 minutes of arrival it was busy and they couldn't cope. Will not be returning.

The six of us had a fantastic meal here, the carvery calzones were spectacular and Adam was superb, working hard to make sure my mum's meal avoided her allergies. Would highly recommend especially for the carvery and fresh pizzas and excellent service.

Once again I choose to come here for my evening meal out and once again I’m greeted by a waitress called Kara and Dylan. They were both lovely and helpful as always, making sure our food and service was top notch, always available for things me and my party need and always with a smile. Fab work from them both

We booked in here for a last minute carvery after our dog walk and we’re not disappointed! We’d never been before and didn’t know what to expect but it was delicious and the staff are so friendly, considering it’s a chain it has a lovely local country pub feel when you walk in. We were served by Liss and she was so accommodating and kind, bought our drinks to the table and was sure to let us know when the fresh roasties were out- would definitely recommend calling in here for a pint and some food if you get the chance!

The friendly staff are what makes this basic pub better. Adam and his team members like Tracy do a great job - always a friendly smiling welcome and go out of their way to help. I just wish the brewery / owners would invest some money on this place - it really needs a lick of paint and some work doing on it bring it up to the same standards of the staff who work here. This place has so much more potential and needs the investment. Staff - Excellent ! Service - Excellent ! Building / Decor - needs some improvements !

What the frig. It wound me up just how good this place has become. The carvery, the chronic service, the godzilla sized potatoes. Accidentally put ice cream on my turkey thinking it was piped potato’s but I wasnt actually disappointed in this mixup. Nyom. This little chap called Adam. Full of beans. Cheeky smile. Got bants? Yeah! but the good kind, I can tell this lad would make a great father one day. I’d certainly be pleased if he was my Son, that’s for sure . Top meal, 10 out of 10, crème dela crème, Fin. Been today, I had turkey and stuffing sandwiche with roast potatoes wasn't too bad Hubby had loaded chilli cheese chips, absolutely disgusting £4 for about 6 chips loads of cheese and not even a dsp full of chilli. Had to send back, came back with an extra teaspoon of chilli on. Not worth the money

The food was nice and hot, very tasty and plenty of delicious meat to fill my mouth with. The place was very busy, nice to see it back to what it used to be. Highly recommend.

Food; dry but extremely hot got 3rd degree burns for the food scooper. Service; no one smiled, no straws, no napkins, overly shocking service. Atmosphere; dead. My friend is a Sunday connoisseur and does not leave a crumb well today my friend left most of it! The pork was dryer than my nanan foot heel.

Utterly disappointed yet again with this place. Went there as a party of 11 for my wife birthday and we bought all meals with deserts we also bought a small meal for the little 5 year old which she did not want she wanted our yorkshire pudding so we went to ask for a small dish for her and they charged us 99p there ice scream machine for the 3rd time this month was out of order they said had just been cleaned lol but offer to sell you scoops of ice cream at £1 per small scoop. We have gone here for many years each birthday in the family and at times there has been a many as 30 of us but from today we will go some where else as it has gone down hill very fast in quality of food and value for money and service a real shame.

Mashed potato was watery and sloppy......All round wasn't the best at all. 2nd time I've been, i won't go a 3rd time unfortunately.

Worst carvery ever had , hardly any meat , peas not cooked cold roasties , stuffing like slop , wouldn’t come out of bowl and stuck in spoon , I mean how can you not cook peas , all you do is warm them up

Popped in for some Lunch, lovely polite staff, nice food, had the calzone, the pulled beef pizza, (no pulled beef 😕 so opted for pulled pork), side of chips, a dip and then the unlimited ice cream for after. (Only had 1 sweet topping 😕, we paid card so didn't have any 20p's for the paid sweet toppings) all in all, nice place, will be back again. Popped in for some Lunch, both had pizzas very nice, only thing I would say is could have been cooked abit longer to stiffen base up as was abit floppy (but was cooked), was abit of a weird shape this time too, nice polite staff, clean table 👍🏻

Came to do a collection order for a Sunday Carvery and it was a very pleasant experience! I was greeted upon entering by Dylan who was so kind and welcoming 🫶🏻 , my food was ready for the collection time I chose and was brought out to me and you could feel how piping hot it was, showing that it was prepped on time and not done mega early and left out. Overall a 10/10 and would definitely recommend as the carvery itself was packed full to the brim. Plenty of meat, gravy etc. so yummy 🥰
