Arrived for lunch, upon arrival was greeted by the lovely staff I believe their names were Tracy and Alicia. Was a great experience will be returning!

The food could be much hotter was only warm

Called in with no booking with a few friends for a carvery. Wasn't too busy but the food was great and freshly cooked. We were served by a young guy called Adam who was extremely polite and nothing was too much for him. Will be calling again

Went in the other day when it was not too busy to be greeted by Adam who was lovely and kind the entire time, and took the time to actually talk to us. The food was very enjoyable and very tasty would definitely return again.

Came to do a collection order for a Sunday Carvery and it was a very pleasant experience! I was greeted upon entering by Dylan who was so kind and welcoming 🫶🏻 , my food was ready for the collection time I chose and was brought out to me and you could feel how piping hot it was, showing that it was prepped on time and not done mega early and left out. Overall a 10/10 and would definitely recommend as the carvery itself was packed full to the brim. Plenty of meat, gravy etc. so yummy 🥰

Excellent value for money all you can eat carvery with pizzas and burgers too. Banging pint of Guinness and lovely staff. Quality of food is brilliant we keep coming back for more as the app has loyality rewards too.

Attended here for lunch on Tuesday. There was a delay in the food service even though they just opened, these things happen so it wasn’t the end of the world. However the thing that did bother me was the carvery server was extremely loudly commenting to another staff member on how much she ‘suffers with body dysmorphia ‘ I’m not dulling the effect this may have on her however there’s a time and a place and talking about how fat you think you are, at work, infront of customers.. again extremely loudly in a very quiet environment is so inappropriate when people are trying to eat. Utter lack of awareness that there are customers in the venue. All of this was happening whilst she was serving people infront of her. Very unprofessional.

Really nice carvery, small dishes under the hotplate ensures that the food is on a regular rotation. Brilliant and attentive staff that go above and beyond. Very nice place

Went on a Sunday to find out they open at 10 and take breakfast off at 11.30 that's an hour and half to feel rushed, especially as it gets busy with the breakfast window so short. Until they start doing weekday breakfasts again won't be coming back.

Would just like to say Adam who was front of house host is a credit to your team. It was a busy Mother’s Day afternoon and he was very helpful, polite and made sure he kept us up to date when our table was ready. He was very professional and always had a smile on his face. Keep up the good work Adam.

Great carvery, good selction, top food and offer price

A good alternative to Toby carvery

Paid £10.49 for a main course and desert. Deal was good but the food was average, kids liked it though. Big credit to staff as rhey made effort to correct things and checked up to make sure nothing else was a problem. Chips portion was very small and you can see in video. Ordered chicken burger and chips. Was edible but wouldn't brag about it... But if I wanted a cheap local deal to eat out in week I would probs come back if I couldn't think of anywhere else to go. Brownie came out rock hard and cold but the waiter apologised straight away and replaced it.

Went for Sunday carvery yesterday. (I'm vegetarian but family are meat eaters!). It was just after midday. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The carvery.... what can I say? The choice of meats for the meat eaters was amazing. For me as a veggie, the choice of vegetables was also just as amazing. I can not recommend this place enough. The staff were amazing especially a young man called James. He was so attentive and just couldn't do enough for us. I only live 5mins from here and can't believe I haven't found this amazing place before. I will definitely be back. Thank you Team Drawbridge for an amazing lunch and overall wonderful experience.

Service at bar was good order drinks meat and meat free carvery waited good 5 minutes to be served at food station little vegetables and stuffing that was there was dried out and barely warm

Popped in for some Lunch, lovely polite staff, nice food, had the calzone, the pulled beef pizza, (no pulled beef 😕 so opted for pulled pork), side of chips, a dip and then the unlimited ice cream for after. (Only had 1 sweet topping 😕, we paid card so didn't have any 20p's for the paid sweet toppings) all in all, nice place, will be back again.

Dylan was our server and was fantastic, couldn’t be more helpful and made our experience very enjoyable. The food was lovely, would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing meal yesterday and the service was spot on Kara and Dylan went above and beyond for me and my table and the carvery was lovely think the chap was called Paul would definitely come again!

Once again I choose to come here for my evening meal out and once again I’m greeted by a waitress called Kara. She was a lovely and helpful as always, making sure our food and service was top notch, always available for things me and my party need and always with a smile. ordered carvery online didnt get mash or the pigs in blankets I paid for. Got one huge roastie only that was rock hard. the pork was soo dry it was in edible and everything tasted watery and no salt. Absolutely vile.

Super friendly staff! The finger lickin' chicken was a great starter, and the pizza was great, the dough could use a bit of salt, but very thin, italian-like taste. The brownie was amazing, bug slice . The place is clean and does not smell like alcohol at all. Over all we give a 4.6 for the experience and the extra stars for the waitresses.

Lovely food, lovely staff, really put the effort in to ensure that all of the customers enjoyed their Christmas dinner. Would highly recommend. A+++

Went to a charity event at this stonehouse and was met by two lovely staff who excelled at their jobs... Kara and Nicky where friendly and polite and both were very attentive to our needs. They made the place feel very welcoming and before I realised It felt like I had been here before..... it just felt familiar... Great atmosphere, great food and drinks and the best service. Both staff members are assets to the company, hope this gets passed on to them... And well done for raising so much money for a good cause!!!!

Attended a charity event here on Friday 15th December and really enjoyed it. We came as a family of 4 and the turnout was fantastic. All the staff were really accommodating and Kara pulled out all the stops as host. They even managed to dish out hot food during the event despite the pub being ridiculously full! I would definitely consider this pub for future events as, in the summer, there's also the outside space to consider. Well done Kara and team on such a good job and lots of money raised 👏

We had a great experience, I can't remember the name of the worker but he made warm milk for my son when he was upset and was very kind and lovely to speak to, he was in all black, had light brown hair if you can find him and commend him for his great customer service:)

I popped in for a breakfast to fill my belly up before a trip to the airport for my birthday getaway! The value is fantastic as it’s only £5.99 for an all you can eat breakfast, the food is fresh & tasty! Array of juices, toast and sauces to compliment too! If you wish to add a Unlimited Tea or Coffee only £2.99 extra! The staff are very lovely and welcoming which adds to the experience! Will definitely be coming back soon to this hidden gem in Rotherham!

Love their All you can eat breakfast, carvery calzone, and mojitos!! Yum yum!! Food is made from fresh ingredients! With just only 5.99 eat all you can breakfast and unlimited coffee what can a breakfast person can ask for 😉. Will certainly come back for more yums! 😘

Popped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10am, it wasn't too busy and there was plenty of hot food. The breakfast itself was delicious with plenty of choice and self service. The staff were equally great - friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again when we're in town.

Just had my sons 8th birthday party here, the staff were amazing, sorting out everything, Elisha controlled and ran everything, she really keeps the place alive, thank you for an amazing time Enjoy your holiday 😊

Went here for an 18th birthday (6pm-11pm) great atmosphere for the family and serves great food suitable for adults and children. Bar staff are really friendly with a nice selection of alcohol. Highly reccomend for birthdays and/or celebrations

Went for the mid week carvery. Lovely food at a good price. Plenty of seating and wasn't too busy. Will definitely be going back.

Came in had booked for 1pm ordered a drink was busy went to table and got up for carvery and needed a ticket so come out of queue and paid went back and my partner couldn't have pigsin blankets there extra wasn't going to get back out of queue s left it meat nice and yorkshire puds gravy tasty peas only veg cooked ok rest overcooked soft thoughts was eating in a care home fir people. Soft diet Mash Was taste less then no forks when asked said would be a while not gone threw washer Finely started eating and staff came over to say your sat at a reversed table really ..... it was our table Not organised at all no guidance from Staff as to how it works so felt like a fool And found hair in my dinner half way threw Abandoned the meal WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE

*** Kids pizza making party *** Cannot praise the staff anymore! Table was ready for us at 3pm when me and my husband arrived to put few decorations up. Arrived at 4 with the kids. Everything from start to finish was great. Given chef hats to colour and decorate themselves. Great experience with the dough rolling! Very generous with the toppings, any toppings kids asked for they had which was great. Fantastic value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone having a kids birthday party. Staff with a smile on their face.

Arrived on site and stood at the bar for a few minutes to get served….ordering our food was a painful experience but we got there…. Poor chap didn’t have a clue what he was doing…. There was a young guy with dark hair who was kidding on he was a manager and was beneath him to help out…. Coke was off and there was a few people waiting to be served… as the queue got bigger it turned into Fawlty Towers … the experience of ordering food for one family was painful so they ended up leaving halfway through their order…. People in the queue just started laughing the service was that bad…. People were waiting for over 10 minutes to get served. Food was decent but the service was horrendous..

Carvery was shocking, meat was dry, veg was poor, pub was quiet but our menu food took ages to come, staff very friendly though xxxx

That you have enough meat for the carvery at tea time especially when people want to eat after a days work

Absolutley wonderful staff. Cater for my allergy. Amazing chef. Food was just as I like it. Apart from salad. Think it should be shreeded n maybe little less. Clean. Tidy. Staff very efficient n lovely too talk too. Very preventable. Better than other place you have Toby Carvery near asda. Never ever eat there again till it improves. But drawbridge. I pay £14 round trip n pay for meal n Worth every penny xxx

Visited at 6pm, but they only had 1 meat left, which was dry. Vegetables were dry and only just warm and looked like they'd been sat there for hours. Very disappointing, wouldn't rush back.

No queue and no issues finding a table

Been recommended this place as lovely carvery. However it wasn't all that. Hard veg couldn't even cut my roast potatoes. Then ordered a pudding which was forgotten about when it finally arrived. Started tucking in got to Best bit and found a hair. Won't be returning in a hurry sorry

Only went for breakfast, we'd been staying at the Welcome Inn. My son & grandson enjoyed the Breakfast. Hubby had a bacon breakfast bap, said it could have been hotter but ok! I just had toast & jam.

We booked a table for 7pm on a Saturday night. Very quiet on arrival. Went to bar to order carvery told that what was on the servery was accounted for. So tried to order fish and chips to be told that they didn't have that either. Alot of annoyed customers. Saturday night and there was one manager and one member of waiting staff on. Within 10 minutes of arrival it was busy and they couldn't cope. Will not be returning.

Birthday visit for our 11 year old grandson, my favourite meal is their Dirty Clucker and it did not disappoint, lovely lad waiting table (Adam). Won’t be long before our next visit. ❤️

What a fabulous find. Great food for a fabulous price and fantastic staff. We had just arrived in Rotherham, tired and hungry as we had been exploring beautiful Leeds all day and didn't have much to eat. Once we had checked into our accommodation for the night I went on line thinking we would have difficulties finding somewhere to eat on a Saturday night. Fortunately we found The Drawbridge online and could book our dinner online and be seated within an hour,,, On a Saturday night!!! We were not disappointed. We had the carvery and would thoroughly recommend it. Marie the chef served us our meat with such a beautiful smile and she was happy to have a chat to this couple of hungry Aussies. Thankyou Ethan and to your amazing staff, Alycia, Marie, Cara and Paul. Your hospitality was refreshing and very much appreciated. We felt welcome from the first Hello. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The food was lovely, and the restaurant was clean it was quiet when we first arrived as it was so early. However, it started to fill up around 9 am. Prices start really low just £5.99 per person, but once drinks and mushrooms and other bits and bobs are added to complete your meal prices rise to around £10 per person

Fantastic home cooked carvery never had a bad 1, diverse staff new and old please give the new staff a heads up they have to start somewhere give them time. We come every week sometimes more. They accept dogs , kids everyone, love they employ diverse staff with neuro and disability, the price is good value, just 1 thing to try to ignore and that’s the deco it’s seen better days and does look grotty but please forget that because the food is great which is important the price is good and it’s clean just not fancy, I def recommend so much better than Toby carvery and there aunt Bessie’s lol. Perfect home cooked Sunday lunch !!! Simply the best , we go every week sometimes more than once, good value, and never had a bad meal yet. The place yes needs decorating and looks a bit grotty but ignore it because the food is good and that’s what’s important. Some new staff there lovely just give them time to learn and the cooks are unique and fantastic. Love the fact they employ people with disabilities and neurodiverse , love the fact dogs are welcome ! Def recommend x

It's ok, staff were friendly. Food sort of average but we were told the breakfast were very good. Hardly anyone in so it's a bit unfair to say about the atmosphere.

There is a sign clearly pointing down to the Basement which says entrance, We walk as a group in anticipation but the door was locked, we peered through the window and could see a whole range of S&M paraphernalia I was somewhat taken aback, once we worked our way through the zigzag pathway to the door that was open we ventured forth in some kind of trepidation in case the upstairs was bedecked in the same level of paraphernalia. We were greeted by a charming young man called Adam and we enquired about the situation downstairs he said "Oh no" Terrianne has closed the dungeon and it's open only on Sundays for special guests you'll have to make do with upstairs which is a more normal traditional pub we enquired further to the dress code for the basement on Sunday and Terry and inform the party I was invited but would be very welcome but would have to wear full S&M regalia. We took our seats in the hostelry and consumed a few pints of falling-over water where Adam served us well and we chose a selection of foods that came in a timely manner and fulfilled a requirement for nourishment this evening, whilst we sat eating Terrianne could be seen sitting looking demio at the bar polishing her black leather catsuit ready for Sunday's entertainment, can't wait to return for Sunday night's activities.

Wow! Driving past this Stonehouse and I had to pop in just on how beautiful it looked from the road. Glad that I did, the grounds were lush, the flowers were real and in bloom, the toilets and restaurant were immaculate, and the service was quick and friendly. I had the margerita pizza with a j2O which helped fuel the rest of my journey down south. If I could give them 6 stars, I would! Strongly recommend for fresh food and good drinks.

Good food and excellent service

Called in on the off chance that we could get a table for my wife's 65th birthday and we did. The atmosphere was great as was the food. We were 14 people ranging from 2 years to 65 and they catered for all of us having different food. The carvery was excellent and well worth the money. The beer was well poured and could tell it was looked after so happy with that. The staff were very polite and said please & thank you which is rare these days. My wife got a free bottle of prosecco for her birthday (thanks). We have already made plans to go back, really worth the trip. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Yet again amazing service from the staff here, teri-ann (if I've spelt that right) was brilliant in waiting on us. Kara definitely out-performed in her delivery of the food. Truly one of the best places I've been for food. Keep it up. ❤️

Chips were cold no atmosphere in the place we were booked in but no table waiting for us we had to put tables together our selves no meat left for the carvery every one got meals at different times when we were all together the young lad serving our tables was lovely and apologetic he was very attentive

Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been too. Food was astonishing, drinks were well, drinks and the staff were absolutely blazing 🔥. Super friendly atmosphere, all the staff are willing to have a chat and a laugh with you. Can't thank Kara enough for the service and experience she gave us here. 10/10 keep up the good work, we will definitely be back for more.
