I ordered the salt and pepper chicken with fried rice and also the shredded salt and pepper chicken which we split to have a mixture of both. The shredded chicken was just hard batter with very little chicken in. The rice wasn’t very warm at all however the normal chicken was rather tasty. Prawn crackers were good. We got 2 fortunes cookies and one was just the wrapper with no cookie.

Cold food and so tasteless!!! Nothing in our 3 meals was nice!! No flavour, meat was cold, rice stuck together! Been using this restaurant for years and it’s gone really down the Nick! Owners must have changed. No longer accept card payments. Don’t order, it didn’t even taste like Chinese food!!

Food very very bland, no taste, poor quality for what we paid , some of the order missing wouldn’t recommend.

Order food from here never again absolutely disgusting. The gravy is like water and cold and the chips were still frozen. Only good thing about it was how quick it came and the prawn crackers. Rang up and the boss says can only give me another gravy and new chips I says no I would like a refund and they said no. I’ve told them I’m putting a bad review and they put the phone down on me.

We have been customers since it first opened years ago but after tonight's fiasco, never, ever again. We ordered a beef combo dish but in its place came a disgusting looking prawn dish. I'd have never ordered this as I'm allergic to seafood. The order had gone through online incorrectly. So I foolishly believed that a quick phone call would resolve this, especially considering we are long time customers. How wrong I was. The woman who answered couldn't have been less helpful if she tried, I explained that there was an error on the site but she told me that there was nothing that could be done and ended the call. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Needless to say that will be the last time we ever visit this disgrace of a Chinese takeaway. Customer loyalty clearly means nothing to Dragon Inn.

Very poor customer service, variable food quality, missed an item off our last order and their answer was we could have 70p credit off our next order, no apology, and fried rice is not 70p.but because it is partly charged with the main course that is all they will refund. We have ordered 3 times, the first the food was great arrived quite quickly and hot. The 2nd time the chips were ok but luke warm, the sweet and sour chicken was tough. With soggy batter and an odd taste. 3rd order we changed the main dish which was better, but according to the web site they started preparing the food straight away but it was going to take an hour and a half to be delivered. It actually took slightly longer, and out fried rice was missing which the main really needed. I found the offer of 70p credit offensive. Their prawn crackers are excellent, but we won't be going back just for those. There are much better restaurants and take aways in this area, with better service..

Takeaway I ordered was prawn and chicken chow mien and salt and pepper chicken,the chicken in both meals was totally dry and overcooked,they was only 4 prawns which was a bonus as the last time I ordered this I didn’t get any.I did ring and inform them on both occasions but were not very helpful. Very poor service and the food is not as good as it used to be and a lot more expensive WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM HERE AGAIN!!

Ordered food through big foodie which was displayed on their website. Multiple payment attempts made. All states payment declined when turns out all had been accepted. Had to call to cancel orders which they did but could not offer refund so had a chew on getting money back. Website stated 1 hour and a half wait. After that time contacted take away and was told that’s what the website says but in reality is over 2 hours, to make some fried rice, curry sauce and a few bits of battered chicken. First time ordering and last time. Rubbish.

Reasonably priced plenty of food and quite a good standard. Tried others in area but this is best value for money

We had used them for a year or so, and the food was ok! however their new menu had a major increase in prices at almost a £1 a meal or sundry dish that added a further £3-£4 to the total meal ordered! So we have now stopped using them! mainly because their food is average and we can get a better deal elsewhere. This their Delivery takeaway service!

Food was lush took a little longer than I ordered as ordered fir 8.30 and was 10 mins late but to honest it was worth the wait. Will defo go back

Big shout out to the delivery driver Steve very pleasant bloke, goes above and beyond 100% professional food deliverer.Give that guy a pay rise he’s sound. Good bait too!!

Improve the attitude of your driver and improve your communication. Your driver needs to calm down he was absolutely raging just because he was waiting outside for about 15 mins, we didn't see him pull in, this is a commercial building so it is easy to miss the driver, make sure he has your number and make sure that you take our number so you can contact us if there are any issues.

Quite upset I'm having write this review. Ordered £30 worth of food for our family tonight and being completely honest what a waste of money. It's our local go to Chinese for the last few years and never never have we experienced such tasteless, cold, salty, weird tasting food. We normally sit and eat till we can't fit another bite but not tonight we all satcplaying with our food and complaint about everything. The food was cold for a start, the gravy has changed and was so sweet the kids wouldn't eat them so they went in the bin. our beef chow mein was totally tastless, the beef was anemic and chewy, the noodles inside were as if came from a packet and were so soggy. The salt and pepper spare ribs were anemic too, no taste and tough as old boots. Not one chilli or anything to be seen. Defiantly not salt and pepper. My other half is on the phone to the shop now and getting nowhere byvthe sounds of it.

We haven't eaten in the restaurant but often have a takeaway from the Dragon Inn. The food is always hot, fresh and tasty - they don't always get the order right but as we are customising the menu, we don't blame them!

We visited here with friends. We wanted a nice quiet meal, however this wasn’t the case. There was a child running around under tables and everything. Nobody seemed to get the child under control. We are our meal was average. Before we entered we got abuse of one of the delivery drivers as he parked in the space I was clearly waiting to park in! Wouldn’t be returning in a hurry.

I used to go a lot until started getting orders wrong every week happened again to night I rang was told I'm a lair I will haft to pay extra an hung up on after been abused on phone month prior the was a hair in my house special chilli n garlic was told it was mine iv been bald for five years now never again what a shame because the food was ok

Went one xmas/new year . A child was running all over the place, out of control, belonged to owner I presume. Staff left to handle child. Very off putting

La comida que sirvieron a nuestro grupo de 15 era magnífico. Pedimos 4 platos pero estábamos allí por 3 horas. Comprensiblemente una gran fiesta es difícil de manejar, sin embargo, la espera entre platos fue demasiado largo.

Estuve con mi marido en una noche de viernes de 7:30 / 8. Había considerado comiendo en el restaurante era literalmente pero vacío, ni un solo restaurante así que optamos para pedir comida para llevar. No es la primera que hemos tenido desde aquí y no será la última. La oferta de comida para dos es enorme, fácilmente podría alimentar a 3 - 4 personas, así que siempre genera sobras para el día siguiente, con una gran relación calidad-precio en ese sentido.

Banquet was nice, soup tasty as was starters, finger bowl would of been nice, my main of crispy kingprawn Cantonese style was tasty, but didn't like the way kingprawn was substituted with crab or prawn sticks, waitress went to see chef but she never came back ? Takeaway always lovely

Early Saturday evening visit yet the restaurant was empty. The service was good and the staff were very accommodating with the menu. The food was tasty and the place was very clean and tidy. There was just no atmosphere and the kids preferred the Buffet style chinese where they get visually fed with more food choice and good choice of puddings too.

Esta fue la primera vez que probé este chino y por desgracia no intentarán de nuevo. Nuestra orden tomó más de una hora y media en llegar (vivimos a 5 minutos!!) y cuando nos llamaron para preguntar donde estaba nos dijeron que acababa de salir, pero 20 minutos más tarde, todavía no había llegado. Cuando llegue era horrible, el pollo estaba principalmente grasa, el dim sum eran todas las grasas y los platos sin sabor.

Never been here before, first impressions were ok, starters took a while, plus one was forgotten, and took about 10mins to come, after the rest of our group had started. Waitress was lovely, however what was very strange was the owners 5 year old son running around the place dressed in his pj's throwing his toys about, poking me in the back, and standing at the foot of the table coughing, the blonde waitress kept telling him to get list, but the old Chinese woman seemed to think this behaviour was ok, if I wanted to see a little Chinese person, running about while I ate, I would have gotten a takeaway and watched, a Bruce lee film in the house, would I go back, NO, very odd, and a bit pricey. The food was just Ok.

Ni siquiera nos dimos cuenta que este lugar había sido aquí casi 2 años hasta la semana pasada! Parece ser un muy concurrido para llevar, pero el restaurante es muy agradable, cálido y agradable, bien decorada. El servicio era bueno. Hicimos dos de las comidas de banquetes. Las sopas estaban muy sabroso, y los aperitivos sabrosa. Los platos principales estaban bien, pero no excepcional. selección de postres, tamaño allgood pportions . No cabe duda de que volveré, y las comidas de banquetes están muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Hemos tenido 2 platos de comida y las dos fueron excelentes. El curry de verduras tenía una mezcla perfecta de verduras. Sal y pimienta pollo era hermosa, así como el pollo en salsa salsa dulce crujientes. calidad excepcional para comida para llevar.

Well I was the only customer sat in the restaurant so as you can imagine, customer service was excellent. The food was really tasty and the place was clean. I had the set meal - 5 courses @ £15 Just felt a little flat (no atmosphere) in there.

worst meal av eva had first and last time ad eva order got a chow mein and half the carton was friggen cabbage and veg a didnt even no wat iz was!!!

I've never been into the resturant but they do offer a delivery survive which I frequently use. The food is wonderful and I assume it will be the same quality as in the Restaurant . It always comes in time and really good value, and not greasy, which too often happens in the past from other Chinese establishments.

Wednesday night we visited, only two people in. We were seated and served by a pleasant young lady who was attentive to us.. Warm welcome, and a couple of bowls of prawn crackers to while away the time. I had the special four course with crab and sweetcorn soup, a bit gloopy but tasted very nice. The next was chicken on a skewer (2) with satay sauce which tasted more like curry than peanuts. Also squid which was gorgeous. Moving on, the main course was sizzling crispy beef with Cantonese sauce with egg fried rice. Absolutely gorgeous. Ice cream for afters. Only downside was no drought beer we had cans of fosters which was nice enough. All staff pleasant as you would hope, and good value. £13.95. For the 4 courses. A successful night out

We had a takeaway shortly after this opened and I thought it was pretty average. We tried it again more recently and I am really impressed. I am hard to please when it comes to Chinese and Cantonese food but I find this really tasty, dishes are varied and most of all fresh! We've had a few now and I really rate the place. Yet to try sitting in, perhaps the husband will treat me over Christmas, hint!
