Service fine. Food dreadful. Chow mien full of spam and carrots, little to no sauce. The salt & pepper chips were raw. The chicken balls were full of dry chicken and half cooked batter. The soup was greasy and tasteless and gloopy. The beef and oyster sauce was bland and tasteless. Spend almost £60 on this will never go back. Should have gone to M&S for a dine in.

Just had the worst meal EVER. My first and last time here. Crispy special in honey and chilli sauce. I've basically paid £11 20 for rice and chips as the rest was so tough and chewy it was inedible. My knife couldnt even cut it in half.I can only guess inside the hard batter was meant to be chicken,prawns,beef etc. I could have risked eating it and ended up with a dentist bill but it's gone in the bin and I'll put this one down to experience

A while since we've been here, only because we moved away from area. Always receive a warm, friendly welcome. Ordered 5 different meals. All were plentiful and enjoyed by everyone.

This take away is a Gem 😍. I am always able to get some lovely food when im hungry and not to be let down by their staff . I ordered a crispy Honey beef /chicken, Salt chillies chips, spicy Ribs curry sauce and mini rolls on the side. The food were spot on and the collection time was fast with 10-12 min wait. Not bad after coming back from the expensive Hoppins and still enough to get some delicious food on me way home! Definitly be back again to get more of your yummy food.

Was one of the best around but recently (i.e. last 18 months) the quality of the meals had dropped dramatically I won’t be using them anymore it’s got that bad can’t even get a simple sweet and sour sauce done properly it’s terrible

Excellent food, friendly staff,, very fast service. The only reason I can't give five stars is that despite a recent global pandemic they still adamantly refuse to take card payments like any other reasonable modern business does in 2023.

They only take cash so sadly i had to leave

This place has really gone backwards the food is abysmal, greasy mushrooms black chips no chicken in the chow mien etc ..profit before satisfaction. Needless to say won't be going back.

Been here a lot of times over the years. Usually good food. Went back last night, first time in a long time. Absolutely disgusting. Chicken cashew nuts. No taste at all. Sauce was just like water. Full of onion, hardly any water chestnuts, bamboo shoots or nuts. Won't be back.

Been to this Chinese a few times, not too badly prices but portions aren’t very big (thankfully I get full relatively easy) so feel like it’s not the best value for money, however food is usually tastes relatively good, although chicken was a bit chewy with not that much flavour, probs would go back but wouldn’t be my first option

If you like chunks of spam, frozen carrots and loads of green peppers when ordering a meat or prawn meal, this is the place for you. Rubbish.

We ordered a takeaway for 6 last Wednesday. Food was hot, fresh, tasty. Especially loved the salt and pepper king prawns and the charsui egg foo yung.

Ordered tonight (xmas eve) obviously its was very busy which is fine i didn't mind waiting at the shop for my food so placed my order and took a spot in the waiting area afew minutes later she call out a order the same as mine but said it was for collection and so not for me. Then again 10/15 minutes later she called it out again and i got the same reply it wasn't mine, so a few people came placed orders and went in the space of about 30mins as I was still waiting, then about another 10 mins later the bag of food which she said wasn't mine went into the kitchen for about 10 seconds and she said to me im doing urs now so obviously I knew that I was getting the cold food that i had already been told wasn't mine 2 times, so got home with cold food that I had to place in the oven for 15mins and it was still not that hot after that, I'll not be goin back.

Normally I love this takeaway. Today the food was awful. It looked like it was left over from this morning. They also got our order wrong. Won't be going back for a while. Would love it if they would take card aswell.

The best take away in the north east, Food always hot, cooked to perfection and the curry sauce is amazing it is prepared by Numerous spices by the chefs secret ingredients. AMAZING SERVICE AND VALUE

Great food and service, only downsides are that it is cash only and there are no deliveries. (5 * otherwise) That said, I would still rather drive to an ATM, then Dragon City, than order from elsewhere and have it delivered.

Sweet and sour chicken Hong style noodles and prawn crackers were great but the house special fried rice recipe needs changing it had a strange taste to it. But everything else was great.

Found the receptionist rude...Will not use again

Been going to this Chinese for years but the last few weeks has gone really down hill and after tonights meal I wont be going back soggy chips chicken chow mein tastless about 3 bits of chicken in and lots of big hard pieces of onion prawn crackers all hard disgusting for the money.

I started ordering here rather than the other Chinese takeaway in Lemington (bamboo something? Opposite asda anyway) as they kept messing up my orders. (I'm vegetarian....without fail they started giving me meat / fish curries which I'd have to take back etc). Anyhow....these guys are fantastic...wish I'd started using them before now! It runs like a very well oiled machine....whether it's a phone collection...ordering instore. Love the food....been consistently great. The staff are very friendly. Price us great too....what more could you ask for?

This is the third time we've ordered from here and the food is nice but twice our order has been wrong, first time they didn't put the chips in and next time i ordered cantonese chicken without onions ........ there was nearly 3 onions in there, by the time i'd fished them all out it was cold and hardly any chicken. It's a shame as it tasted nice.
