Food is good if you get what you ordered but then try get your money back there lyes the problem absolutely ruined my very rare family get together would never older from such a badly run business ever again

Great food, always fast delivery. Turns up really hot with friendly delivery drivers. Normally even get some spring rolls thrown in for free!

Not very impressed with the quality of food and the attitude of staff member. I ordered a mushroom omelette. It turned up in good time only to find out. There is onion in Me and it does not give you an option does not say on the menu that it has onion in it tried to explain this to the guy on the phone and all I got was tough take it out absolute terrible attitude they need to be more clearer on what they actually put into it.

We haven't used this takeaway for a number of years. I honestly don't know why as the food was delicious. It was all hot and tasty and we will certainly order from here again. We collected rather than delivery. Purely a personal choice.

Good food but the waiting time is a joke. I called asking where the food is and was told its on its way, 40 minutes later it still didn't show up. Over an hour and a half from placing the order to receiving the food.

Egg fried rice was cold on delivery chip was hot and they told me to put the Egg fried rice in the microwave to make it hot

ordered shrimp and it smelled so bad. the shrimp smelled like it was rotten and we threw the whole thing away. waste of money. also the fried rice had no flavor. we asked for soy sauce or any sauce for it and they said they didn’t have any sauce to go with our rice so we just had to eat plain fried rice. what kind of asian place doesn’t have sauce?

I had two completely raw orders of satay chicken skewers and I found a toothpick in my chow mein. I ordered through Just Eat and previously it was amazing, but now I'm wondering what the food standards are like and how hygienic the food is, even when it doesn't obviously look like this. Stay away at all costs.

Upon my return to Canterbury after my retreat home for the Easter break, I found myself in dire need of sustenance. I traversed the cobble passages that twine through Canterbury, gazing at the alpenglow sky and harkened back to this fine establishment. I ventured towards it, greeted by amazingly congenial staff, placed my order & only had to linger for ten minutes for my nutriment. Due to my personal taste, I ordered: hot & sour soup, roast duck chow mein, and tantalising chilli salt chicken wings. The chilli chicken wings are truly magnificent and are the best I've ever had during my adventures. The meal was incredibly affordable, coming to only £14-15. If you're travelling through this magnificent city and fancy a filling of traditional family made food, I would wholeheartedly recommend you satisfy your taste buds with Dragon City.

Terrible delivery and customer service. We'll never order again. Order was supposed to arrive within 70 min. Almost 2 hours later, order still hadn't arrived. When we called, the lady lied to us, explaining she hadn't received the order until 1 h later. We would have been happy with an honest apology. But being lied to when the delivery receipt clearly states the right time, is totally unnecessary and disappointing.

Ordered through Just eat and payed for delivery. Then received a phone call from Dragon City asking to pay more for delivery. I said no so they cancelled the order. Aweful service.

Nearest to work so we get the odd takeaway. Doesn't beat Cheriton Golden Gate but is as good as any other I've tasted. Food seemed fresh and up to standard. Good opening times. Til after 11pm. When at work I will keep going back. If you fancy chinese cuisine amd your nearby it's worth a stop off.

Food is ok but the man I spoke to on the phone had horrendous customer service, shouting down the phone at me over a misunderstanding with the order, completely ruined my experience. I’ve had a positive experience with other staff but this is just not acceptable behaviour. I’ve never experienced anything like this before! Under no circumstances should staff shout at customers!

The best shredded chilli chicken and satay chicken on skewers! Staff is always friendly and food is amazing with a great value for money. Definitely ordering again!

live 13 mins away and took them more than 2h and haven’t even arrived yet and kept blaming it on a new driver, disgusting service

tried to order from them on justeat, waited 3 HOURS for my food just for the order to be cancelled. horrific customer service, tried to sort the issue and get my food delivered with little to no help from the restaurant.

Nothing against the staff, but the food was awful, best thing was the prawn crackers. Everything tasted, dry, old and stale

I’ve ordered from her for 2 years and it’s honestly the most student friendly pricing and tastiest . I would recommend the happy Meals that include rice . Black bean roast duck and egg fried rice with a large potato side was just £12

Lovely Chinese food! Its not always u feel u having food that has that homely touch! Not a glamorous approach but serve from heart.

Ordered food saturday night after an hour waiting for confirmation I phoned the shop to be informed they haven't even started cooking my order and would take another 40 plua minutes. I cancelled my order and before i could put a complaint in they hung up on me.

Rude service on the phone, told me they were going to hang up when I had an issue with my order. Despite advertising they'd deliver to our area, they called to change their mind. Waste of time essentially! Don't advertise you deliver to our area if you don't.

A joke. Waited 2 hours (order placed at 6:30) and still didn't arrive. Called and was told it would be another hour so cancelled it. Expected us to wait 3 hours without letting us know.

Very bland food. Quoted almost 2 hours for delivery when I live round the corner so I collected instead. I asked if I could get an extra bag of chips for the delivery fee and they charged me the 30p difference. Hella petty.

I placed a big order from here and my duck was green which meant I couldn’t eat it. One of the dishes was also incorrect and the chilli squid was mostly batter. I called the restaurant and told them I was happy with the rest of the food, however, the quality of those dishes was not satisfactory. Rather then resolving the issues, they tried to argue with me on the phone until I said I have not touched the three dishes because of there quality and that they could come and collect it if they did not believe me. They sent an employee who came to collect the food and he was so rude and was raising his voice as soon as I passed the packaged food into his hand. He refused to give back the correct change until I had to call the restaurant and they had to resolve it. The fact that the food had not been touched and the way they handled my complaint was extremely poor. I would not have even asked for a refund if they handled the situation politely on the phone because I am a regular customer and I had placed a big order. Yet, they were rude and not understanding, customer service was so poor that sadly I won’t be ordering again.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered, it was absolutely delicious and arrived on time. Highly impressed with the food and the excellent service from their staff. I wouldnt hesitate to use Dragon City again. Well done to all concerned. You deserved every star awarded. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Chinese I've had in a very long time... Their special fried rice is amazing I've not had anything like that before. Everything was A* quality an it was late when we place our order.

I had to chase my order after 1.5 hours to then be called back half an hour later informing me that it had been delivered to the wrong address. Appalling service. I cant review the food because I didn't receive it.

From the reviews I wasn't expecting much buy I was very impressed. Food was quick and tasted great with good quality. Would be 5 star but I think the online menu needs updating as the prices were diffrent.

Place needs closing down, had to drain oil out of my rice and they put egg in mushroom fried rice when it wasn’t advertised for allergies. Chips had been warmed up in the microwave and curry sauce came as a block. Called them up to complain and the man who answered was very polite. Was put through to the boss and was told I had to tell him if I didn’t want egg... how was I to know there would be egg in mushroom fried rice? Tried to explain this to him in a polite manner but I was told not to f*cking order from here again and he wouldn’t rectify the problem No wonder why they have a 1 star rating and a 1 food hygiene rating

Excellent food, good service, have ordered a few times and each time it was spot on!

I was so disappointed I ordered special fried rice without pork inside and thé delivery time was very long and I live minutes away and the food arrived and the food was cold and there was pork in my special fried rice. They took a long time to rédeliver my rice and on delivery the deliver asked for the rice with pork in it to resell again which is very gross and my food was so cold. For all the wait over 2 hours I was not even given a free dish or fortune cookie to say sorry but they asked for the dish back. It’s not worth it.

Disgusting! Found foil in my food once n the owner lady is very rude. Also i chose to change my rating to one star after I learned the cheap quality of both their food the people there.

paid £10 for prawn with mixed vegetables prawn crackers and a pancake roll. I had to spit it out as the prawns smelt and tasted bad. the pancake roll smelt inside and the prawn crackers were old absolutely disgusting rubbish. AVOID THIS PLACE. owner very rude and the worst liar ever.. your food is manky and your delivery driver is an idiot . if you want food poisoning buy from this shop

Made a delivery took 2 and half hours to get here and person who answered the phone was rude and lied about it being on its way.

This is by far the worst Chinese I have ever had. On every level, do not waste your money on this food. Competely tasteless, sauces watery and we got charged more for delivery upon arrival than what we was told on the phone.. !! Just don’t bother

The chicken was pink and slimey and just didn't taste cooked the texture just wasn't right very disappointed as we love chicken balls My son loves chicken balls and he said I'm not eatting that it's too squishy Also told with the snow they would be an hour as just live round the corner I phoned up after an hour and a half and she sadi d I will check and heard her say to someone else that my order was sat on the side and hadn't gone out she them came back an d told me told it had gone with the driver a while and she should be with me soon Half an hour later a male driver turned up with it It was like warm but we was starving and couldn't wait to eat any longer as me and my son were starving The next the whole chicken ball problem The whole meal was just ruined and my son hardly ate any dinner Not happy at all very be ad and disappointed

Chicken was definitely not chicken, it was slimey and tasted like rubber. Ate two pieces of both chicken dishes ordered, and already I can say my stomach isn’t agreeing after 10 minutes. Chips were hollow in the middle which was far from plesant. Literally have all the takeaway left and it will be going straight in the bin. Where it belongs.

Ordered food at 18:18 and food still wasn't delivered by 8pm (called them at half 7 and they said there be ten mins and it's now 8pm and nothing) when I called and asked I could here them in the background saying they didn't realise the ticket had come through on the Just Eat machine.. however instead of owning up they lied and said it was busy.

Portions are A good size. Got free spring rolls and prawn crackers. Food is very nice .

Ordered sweet and sour Chicken Balls with Egg Fried Rice on Wednesday evening (28/09/16). I was then throwing up at 4 in the morning. Obviously the Chicken Balls had given myself food poisoning as the only other thing I ate was a couple of sweets. Avoid at all costs

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. It took two and a half hours for our food to come. We rang up multiple times to check where it was, we were first told it was out for delivery, we waited a further 40 minutes and rang up to check where it was. They then told us they never received our order and proceeded to tell us that we never placed it, despite being told it was out for delivery an hour ago. They then magically find our order and tell us it will be there straight away. It comes 45 minutes later and they only took £3 off the original price. The staff were a disgrace. They were laughing whilst we were on the phone, talking to each other, ignoring us and pretending they couldn't here us; we couldn't get on the line for 20 minutes. When the Chinese eventually arrived they tried to take it away from us as we were not wiling to pay full price. According, to the delivery man these events are not uncommon for the restaurant and this is always happening. When we actually ate the food it was completely tasteless. The prawn crackers were stale, the rice was brown, as was the chilli shredded beef. The meat was chewy and quite frankly rather rancid. It was an absolute waste of an evening and I can not believe this place is still open. Do yourself a favour and order dominoes instead.

It is very rare that you spend your 19th birthday angrily waiting two and a half hours for a Chinese order to come. After waiting an hour and still not receiving our order we patiently called them to enquire over where our order was only to be greeted with a reply of 'our driver left 10 minutes ago', Long story short, after two hours of waiting we called them again only this time to be told we never placed an order with them. The absolute audacity to lie is shocking! When we eventually received our food two and a half hours later (and 8 phone calls with them might I add) it was vile. The crispy chilli beef was overcooked; the rice boring and the prawn crackers stale. I have never received such disgusting food and equally disgusting customer service. DO NOT EAT HERE. I wish I could scream this from the top of the Cathedral. A waste of money, a waste of time, a waste of an evening. Save yourself the trouble, order from Golden Kitchen instead.
