Probably the best Chinese Tackaway around at the moment, ordered HOT chicken curry and rice , lovely kick and flavours spot on !

The food was a bit slimy. We were visiting the area so only been once.

Update. Spent over £50. Got half a portion of crispy beef and no prawn crackers. Seriously? Everyone else give free crackers. Not happy. Oh and there was 5 long black hairs in the dishes. Seriously considering not using you again.

I ordered food and asked for spicy ,which I was charged 30p extra for extra spicy hot,after I collected and it wasn't spicy hot as required. I Will not recommend anyone and also won't order from dragon chef,Norman str. St Leonard's On Sea. I had to add chillies at home.

This Chinese takeaway is the best value for money without a doubt in Hastings and surrounding areas. The food is always fresh always tasty and such good value for money the only thing that I hate is they are closed on a Monday. Check out the set meal e it'll feed 5 people and I love it. Try it once you won't go elsewhere

Soaked in oil greacy warm. That's waiting ten mins In shop expecting hot fresh. made feel sick.im chef so no about food. Carnt understand the good reviews it was terrible. Plus chairs old warn out looked like found them on streets. Place didn't look clean ether full dust on there latan lights. Place could do with some paint. Dirty windows.

Ordered last night and was told delivery would be around 1.5hrs. As it was Christmas Eve I expected it to be closer to 2.5hrs but it arrived way before the 2hr mark. Food was fresh and hot. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely be ordering again.

The best chinese I've ever had, I live in the Midlands and drive down regularly to hastings- first stop is this place. Great value for money, great taste and flavour. The food is never greasy, the special fried rice is dry and unspoiled by sauce and chunks of veg like in most places. I have yet to find a place that matches the food here.

I have ordered from here far more than is actually acceptable.. My fave Chinese take out place. My absolute fave and very typical English person is there salt and chilli fries.. I cAnt get enough of their chilli beef. Actually who am I kidding any dish I’ve had is lovely.

Excellent Chinese food. Generous portions and always piping hot. The fact that it gets so busy (and you might have to wait a while for a delivery) shows just how popular this place is - specially at weekends. Highly recommended.

Charge you for things that you didn't order

I always order from here normaly amazing food but all came chips soggy same as spring rolls. Egg fried rice taste of garlic overpowering. Salt and pepper chicken soggy lile its all just sat there for ages complete waste of money

T y for a lovely take away. food lovely and fresh. We waited and we were not disappointed. Deffo, go back. Would pick up, due to probs with delivery, lots of flats and not too much parking or waiting. Only in Warrior Square. Would always walk round....

We have never had any problems using this chinese takeaway. Maybe we're just some of the lucky ones. The man who takes our order is always polite and reads the order back to me, informing me of the price and waiting time. Sometimes we have waited longer than stated, but it's to be expected, especially on weekends. Food always arrives piping hot and we find it a lot less greasy AND less expensive than some of the other Chinese takeaways in Hastings and St. Leonards. Will always continue to use and recommend Dragon Chef.

I tried telephoning Dragon Chef at five twenty five today (23/02/17) to place an order and I didn't get as far as confirming my address before the lady hung up on me! She didn't understand the NATO phonetic alphabet which led to confusion over my postcode and she couldn't grasp my telephone number. Very rude and very unprofessional. I will never try this establishment again, EVER. I sadly have to leave a one star "recommendation" in order to write a review but this rating is ever so flattering.

Had a meal from there on Chinese New Year, it was without a doubt the worst Chinese meal that I have ever had, most of it ended in the bin, a complete waste of over £20, I will never use it again.

One of the best takeaways restaurant in Hastings

We waited nearly 3 hours for an average to poor Chinese. I understand it was on a Saturday night, but it wasn't a special occasion. There was no acknowledgement or apology when we called them after about an hour and a half. The food was also greasy - more so than the average take away.

The price was normal but food was terrible. It took ages to come and it was cold. It was all inedible especially the so called pork balls. There are plenty of other wonderful chinese takeaways in town so avoid this one.

We received the leaflet through our door and thought that we would try this Take Away which was delivered to our door and I must say within the time period that they told us. When we went to open the food we could not believe how terrible the food was! I do not usually like to give 'terrible' reviews (please see my other numerous reviews) but we were so disappointed in the quality of the food compared to any other Chinese Restaurant that we have been to or had a Take Away from either locally or anywhere. The Crab & Sweetcorn Soup was extremely watery and the Crab was just a chopped up 'Seafood Stick' not crab as stated in the menu. The Sweet & Sour Pork Balls were of a good quantity but were completely overcooked on the outside and doughy and inedible on the inside - the worst that we have ever seen. The Mushroom Curry was not thick but again very runny and not at all what one would have expected. The Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice and the Vegetable Chow Mein contained so much sweetcorn that the flavour was overpowered and rendered them quite tasteless. The Bamboo Shoots and Water Chestnuts were fairly dry and had no taste at all and were very unappetising. Even the mini vegetable spring rolls were overcooked and were probably bought in as were the crab claws - which were the only item that was barely edible. We will definitely not be using this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone. We were so disappointed as we were quite hungry and this food was just not up to any decent standard.
