Food really good, served quickly. Cool spot, but not bustling.

Such a lovely experience - extremely pleasant and attentive servers, really delicious noodles, good value for money and great choices for vegans. We were gifted extra spring rolls a gesture of good will and were really happy with everything. 10/10! :)

Been purchasing Dr Noodles weekly for over a year. Recently (started about 6 months ago) there has been a significant decline in quality, particularly: 1. Beef, either getting poorer quality beef, or not preparing/cooking properly. 2. Order are frequently wrong, around 50%. 3. Staff seem rushed, inexperience, unfocussed, disinterested. Owners need to grip this as these problems persist, and spoil what was, and should be, an excellent meal.

Normally can’t fault this place - it’s my once a week treat. Not today, burnt veg, staff not knowing orders. Total waste

Has gotten abysmal lately. Ordered this evening as a treat.order came without the drinks ordered, and zero sauce. Just rice veg and meat. If I wanted bland terrible food I’d have cooked myself! Staff evidently need training or supervision.

Brill lunch time meal. I stopped in this week and got a small noodle box with all veg (£6.50). The shop was quiet and I was served within a few minutes. On first glance the box appears quite small but actually it’s packed full and very filling. I couldn’t have ate anymore, at least at lunch time. Everything tasted fresh and was very good. At the counter I was offered some toppings which I didn’t know was a thing (crispy onions, spring onions and sesame seeds) which I accepted and wasn’t charged anything for. It was well worthwhile and elevated the noodles. Service was friendly and the guy serving was very helpful. All in all would happily go again.

the dundee shop is almost always a disappointment, i've officially given up chancing it now 🤷🏽‍♂️ the rice is always undercooked leaving the entire box inedible and considering rice soaks up sauce more than noodles youre always guaranteed to have too much sauce on the noodles and not enough sauce on the rice! £10 for a box of uncooked unflavoured rice!!

They don’t have a good choice of food at all.. Only noodle or rice with different flavours.. I understand that if they want to specialise on one thing, but unfortunately the taste of the food is also not good.. And it’s also very pricey compared to the other noodle shops in the city.. Personally, i’m not planning to try here again anytime soon..

Rice was undercooked which i got a refund for. I dont normally complain but i had to as the food was inedible. The sauce was great and veg was fine but the chicken feels really cheap. My wife actually thinks its not chicken but some soy chicken hybrid because the texture is so off. I think its just cheap precooked chicken which at £9.50 a box - YES, £9.50 - shouldn't really be the case. Hearing staff argue about fag breaks wasnt great for the service side of things. The cleanliness of the place was awful as well. This is not the staffs fault, per say, there just doesnt seem to be a system in place which comes from upper management. The floor was sticky and there was a baby chair there that we needed but i held my child instead as it looked disgusting. Floor around it covered in crumbs. This felt like a students house and when it comes to food you need to firstly be clean. This place feels neglected or understaffed. The owner is probably just content to let the money come in. The customer before me also complained about the cleanliness to the staff. After he left, they still did nothing. 1 star out of 5. Avoid. High priced and low quality.

rude staff, one carried in a massive bag of frozen, pre sliced chicken. the food was disgusting, small portions and way too much sauce to the point where it was inedible.

Best Dr Noodles I’ve visited before. They have outside seating and instead of only recieving your order in a box, you can ask for a bowl to have in. Was pleased with the service and time.

Really, low price with good food, especially delicious. I loved that I got to select the flavors and sauces that can be added to my food.

Popped in for a bite to eat before a film showing across the road at the DCA, pleasant attentive staff, clean environment, it was early evening and pretty quiet, so when I ordered my food they began preparing it immediately, so much so that by the time my two friends had ordered my food was handed to me with a smile, steaming hot and looking delicious, large bowl of noodles with beef, all the veg and teriyaki sauce, it was very tasty, piping hot throughout and enough beef veg and sauce to balance every mouthful, only criticism was the place was a bit cold so had to keep my coat on. I definitely will be back soon

Been a good few times.. Food is excellent.. Though the server today certainly needs some customer service training, shouldn't be working with public...

Worst £20 spent. Could only eat 3 spoons. Chicken chilli Bland. My beef dish I would even feed to a starving person. No offer of refund after we complained. Had to go chip shop instead.

Rude staff members upon entry was a bad start . This place use to be brilliant and has sadly gone downhill . 2 orders placed and 2 incorrect meals given . Didn't realise until we got home ..wrong veg and wrong sauce added. No answer upon ringing them . Place was empty when we went in ,easy to see why now . Such a shame as this place used to be great . Wont be returning

I would have preferred to be served by someone with their hair tied up. Very off putting to see someone serving food with long loose hair and fallen strands stuck to the back of their t-shirt, disgusting for a food establishment.

Was just in - got a box of noodles and veg with no tofu at all even when I asked for tofu. Useless staff. So frustrating to spend £25 and not get anything but noodles.... surely not that hard to get right. Also nobody answers the phone to try fix the order. Giving up going here now. Never get what you ask for.

The food was good but as a person who has a wheat allergy and can't eat noodles I get a rice box. Today when eating my food I discovered a noodle in my food luckily I'm not severely allergic but could've been bad if I was.

First visit to a Noodle bar, and the staff were pretty helpful in describing the 'process' of ordering . This is a pretty basic business model and effectively a case of place order at the bar and wait and eat and leave. Indoor seating in the long 'bar' area is surprising as there is extended seating to the rear. The Noodles (I had Chicken Teriyaki with veg) was pretty tasty. I'm none too sure of the quality of the chicken which you'll find as uniformly shaped square chunks that are lets face it probably reformed so perhaps not top quality with all that comes with that). Probably a 3.5 star rating in reality but a pretty good deal.

went into dundee, ordered beef and honey no veg regular and small chicken satay, drove 40 miles only to find the beef and honey was just veg and noodles, the chicken satay was sailing in sauce and 3 pieces of chicken. tried call and fne was switched off 5 times.

Thoroughly enjoyed dr noodles. Wooden spork was quite useless. It couldn't pierce the chicken I had but value for money and quality of meal were good.

I love this Dr Noodles. Never disappointed when I visit. The food is always made quickly and fresh. I could see a staff member chopping veg right by the bar. The staff were polite and friendly, however they were very quiet. Maybe communication isn't allowed when working here? Regardless a great experience with great food.

Nice wee sit down or takeaway. Staff were really nice and the food was amazing. First time sitting in and chilli flakes and soy sauce.

Ordered through just eat, delivery fine wrong order. Tried to ring Dundee no answer engaged non stop. Went all the way into town to return wrong food. Greeted with three young men, no apology asked if I wanted a bag, I should have had my delivery charged returned to pay for the fuel used to take the incorrect order back to them. It looks like Dr Noodles need to train the staff to read the order and ensure it is correct before sending them out as this is not a cheap fast food. Also train them on manners when dealing with the public. This is not some Kebab shop at 3am Annoyed to say the least.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. This was the most disappointing Asian restaurant I've ever been to. Noodles were greasy since half of the takeout box was drowning in your chosen sauce. We previously asked the server for recommendations on what sauce to pick, and he simply shrugged, saying, "I don't even like half of the sauces here, to be honest." We should've taken that as a sign to leave, but we wanted to give it a chance with the 4.3 reviews on the website. Absolutely regret going here.

Wouldn't recommend extra spicy sauce unless you rinse your mouth daily with chilli paste. Otherwise great service. Tasty food. Reasonable price. Great ambience.

Wonderful place for food! Very quick takeaway. Bit confusing where to queue up to order, as people come in and walk past you. Shame about many of the Dundee clientele, but staff are very friendly and give good service even if they are looked at with disdain. Definitely recommend!!

The savoury flavour of the noodles is mouth watering. I really need to know what they cook it with because it's the best noodles I have ever had!

Good food experience. Rice or noodles due to your request, more kind of meat, vegetables and sauce on your choice. You just choice how much you are hungry and you can put food according to your taste. You can eat on the place or take away. The staff is preparing portion in front of you quickly and skilfully.

Amazingly delicious. Really quick service, very customisable, great for vegans, and they don't hold back on the amount of veg and tofu!

Always like the food here. Not impressed with the service or more importantly the attitude of the manager on shift. Apparently they would need accept a £50 because its easily forged. Rude considering its legal tender.

The spicy coconut sauce was excellent. As others have said before me, chicken is a bit spongy, but will try other types of meat next time, I am sure they will be great.

Really enjoyed my steak was cooked just the way I liked it my wife’s chicken pie had no chicken in it and when my wife complained the waitress was coming on to her I was not impressed never again will I go back to McDonald’s again

Ordered noodles and a soft drink to be delivered. Arrived quickly after only 15 mins....but they did not deliver my soft drink and when I rang back they had closed. Noodles were OK. Lukewarm and not much sauce but tasted ok.

I had a tasty and filling noodle wrap. I’d never had a noodle wrap before and I’m glad I tried it. Not cheap but a good chunk of nice food so I was happy.

Generally always good, but the chicken is a bit weird. Spongey. Regular boxes are usually enough for two meals for us.

Great food, good portions and quick service

Was good at rhe beginning but no its down hill. I ordered for two and you can tell it was literallg made by their laziest worker as there was no sauce and no mixing of the noodles and sauce. Get worse, i had to literally run to the bog afterwards and then my partner too. I thought i had a strong stomach until today.

Not a huge selection and the noodles were greasy with some sort of white paste residue coming off then was looking forward to Dr noodles for tea and ended up going to McDonalds

A bit disappointing when trying this branch of Dr. Noodle. Every branch needs to have the same level of consistancy and good standards. Noodles were not all that warm. I ordered the coconut curry with extra vegetables and sauce. I love noodles but this was disapppinting. Although asked and paid for extra sauce I never got extra in my opinion. Not great and could do better.

Ordered for delivery two large Noodle boxes which came to £20.10 I got £10 as first time using deliveroo I ordered beef with choice of two sauces Thai green curry & spicy coconut but it was like my Noodles were already covered in soy sauce as they were very salty as were the pieces of beef my two sauces had just been dumped on top of the Noodles and not mixed through so all i really tasted was like Soy sauce disappointed would I pay £20 for this no way

Preparing orders quickly even in busy time

Got overcharged by the server! . Charged me for 3 portions instead of the 2 I ordered. Didn't notice at first until the other server honestly pointed it out to him. This server who overcharged me (was an East Asian looking guy) then proceeded to pretend to issue me a refund through my card. I should have caught on when he didn't hand me the refund receipt which is par for the course for all refunds but I was an idiot too and didn't think to query it because I was in a rush. I like my food joints to hire people with a bit of integrity so will not be revisiting Dr Noodles which is a shame because I have no issue with their food. Tried to email and DM Dr Noodles about this first but got no response so now I'm making my experience public. If you decide to go to the Dundee Dr N then just keep a hawk eye on what you get charged, if it's the East Asian guy (have to say the other one was pretty cool and honest).

I ordered a vegetable noodle box and got given beef. It was a takeaway so didn’t notice until I had got home. I don’t eat beef so had to waste the food and waste my money. Kinda dumb to make these mistakes on such simple food orders.

26 quid for 3 boxes of takeway sludge you could barely call noodles. Poorly cooked, over-priced. Best advice, go to the kebab shop next door!!

Music far to loud for my liking food was alright

Worst experience ever , refused phone of manager regarding putting in a complaint about a member and had to contact dundee branch to get a number and witnessed chicken being cooked then same pan used without washing it to prepare prawns , but a call to environmental health will sort out that and biting fingers nails while seving up food is not what customers want to see , and more time on a mobile phone while customers are left over 10 mins and cancelled order with what I seen , food poisoning springs to mind.

Came in for a cheap meal, hahaha we came to the wrong place. Food is ridiculously overpriced now. Music is ridiculously loud, to the point where we sat right at the back of the store several meters and a dividing wall away from the speaker at it was still too loud. Staff here used to be lovely but I suspect a change in management as the whole place was staffed by similarly aged guys wearing airpods and calling each other bruv, while shouting at each other over the ridiculously loud music. With the amount it is now going to cost you for some rice etc I would just not bother and nip up the road to Tonic. Spend about the same and get a lot more. I am honestly shocked by how unpleasant it was in this boys club that used to be a great cheap eat.

Great food, prepared fast, enough tables for at least 4 people to sit together but the music can be quiet loud depending where you are sitting. I prefer quiet music that let's you communicate with your friends but still hear it in the background

I had a rice box (ordered in error!) no way of amending order. What turned up was foul, clumpy white rice and some sauce. Would not recommend.

First time ever going to Dr Noodles, and yes the noodles are nice, but I ordered Beef with my noodles to take away, and when I went to eat them, they hadn't added the beef even though you pay extra for the meat fillings.l

The staff is very friendly but the food... OMG! The Black Beans Sauce was far too salty and it was so much, it felt like eating noodle soup. I can only remember one time I have eaten worse and I have been a student for many years. And it is not even cheap, considering 3 prawns cost 1.5£ extra. Maybe other sauces taste better but I am certainly not the one to try them.

Generally reliable. Friendly staff. Sometimes you get a random order rather than what you actually asked for, but that's part of the fun. No issue when you're sitting in, but if you don't notice until you get home.... You get to try new combos.

Tout d'abord, je tiens à signaler que cet établissement n'est pas un exemple de propreté, à notre arrivée 2 personnes mangeaient. L'état dans lequel se trouvait la cuisine à notre arrivée à 20h00 alors qu'ils ferment à 22h était surprenant, nourriture au sol, poubelles qui débordent. Personnel fâché lorsque j'ai pris des photos en me demandant pourquoi, quand j'ai évoqué la raison, surprise générale et de là ils se sont dépêchés de faire le ménage jusqu'au wc qui était très sale. Pourquoi faire ça quand on a rien à se reprocher? Rien de transcendant pour ce restaurant de pâtes asiatiques où tout était sans plus. Vous aurez le choix entre plusieurs format de box, nouilles, riz ou légumes vegan, choisissez votre sauce, coco, soja, curry, épices, miel et soja, tofu. Pour avoir pris sauce soja les pâtes baignaient dedans c'était écoeurant et le tofu ressemblait à des morceaux d'éponges.

Very tasty noodles and rice with a good range of sauces. Service is extremely quick as well, you really don't have to wait long for your food. Prices are a little high given the simple nature of the meal. The boxes look small but are deceptively packed with a very good portion of food. My only complaint is that the pieces of vegetable are often cut up very large and it's a bit unpleasant to eat quite a large chunk of bell pepper. Other than that, very tasty and quick meal!

First time in a place like this. Straightforward to select the options and it was made clear which options were vegan. They had to prepare some tofu first otherwise everything was put together in a jiffy. Tasty, straightforward and no-frills experience. The sweet chilli sauce was a bit too sweet so I would choose something else next time. Would have liked to see a separate bin for recyclable drinks cans, or some indication that they take care to recycle what they can.
