Enjoyed my homemade soup. Served by smiley gent. We need a highchair so lady staff bought one over. Tea was nice, cup was warm, so tea stayed hot. Great bathroom, good for baby cleaning. Partner had toasted crumpet, large and tasty. They have a shop attached for groceries. You can also swop school uniforms there. I will go again.

Nice staff, place and people when I asked them a question about the area staff and customers all helped to try and find me an answer

What a great place to take a toddler...I have a 13month old and she loved it...really clean, great coffee and food...really big play area and lots to do for them...most places don’t cater very well for under 2’s but this is just perfect...can’t recommend it enough 👍👍

One of the best pubs in Burnley. Good selection of drinks across the bar, like all Spoons. Friendly staff and quick service. Usually got a few people in. A good place to go meet for a pint with friends or a quiet beer solo. Need to get some outdoor heaters in the beer garden!

Went last Sunday. 2 of our party shared half crispy duck, plenty of duck but short on pancakes which they replenished when we asked. 3 of the party had the all you can eat. For those that haven’t been before, you can order a soup to start (and then as many to follow but make sure you eat it), you can then move onto the starters, there are about 12 to choose from. You can choose two per person which is then cooked and delivered t your table. Once you have done you can order again, and again if you wish as long as you eat it and don’t waste it. Then you can move to the mains. There are about 12 to choose from. Again you can have as many as you wish. The starters are small, but they are made fresh and are piping hot. You can order as many as you like and it adds to the experience. Yes the decor needs updating but the food makes up for it. I miss the huge fish tanks they had pre covid, my kids loved looking at the gigantic Koi.

Most of the food was really nice, but some of it was not great, some was dry and just didn't have a generally nice taste, however the food that was good, was really good! The food and drinks were worth the price, However at the bar there was a lovely lady (50s ish) who looked like she was training two new people at the same time! How is that fair on her! Was very chaotic at times, but the lady was absolutely lovely, the two blokes that were being trained, not as much.
