Literally the worst pizza! It was so thin and undercooked that the centre ‘circle’ was stuck to the bottom of the box so all you were picking up was crust… lols!! Add the knuckle dragger on till who spent 5 mins taking my order as I had t meticulously and repeatedly explain what we wanted on the half n half. I paid thought it was a bit steep btw.. and came back to 2 pizzas ? Wow pretty amusing level of ineptitude, thank god we weren’t that hungry or I’d be raging. Didn’t taste taste bad just a bit sludgy, decent ingredients tho

Lovely pizza and lovely pizzaiolo!

Had high hopes for this place as I saw good reviews and it’s at the bottom of my road. However, the pizza I was given was lukewarm despite ordering only ten minutes before. It was also not the pizza I ordered. However, flavour and base is good so maybe just a one off bad experience.

Ordered a takeaway and this is what arrived as our mozzarella sticks. Completely burnt. Really shows a companies care for customer that they sent these out and didn’t bother remaking.

Very authentic Neapolitan pizza and one of the best I've eaten so far. The employees were also super nice.

Pizzas were really nice, toppings are interesting and well thought out, and reasonably priced at between £10 and £14 per 12" pizza. Ordered online for collection and it was ready after only about 20 minutes. Only thing I can criticize is that the hot honey dip was rather small for the price (but the garlic and herb dip was a generous portion).

The toppings are good but the crust on all the pizzas was spongy and not good at all. Not sure if they had a bad batch of dough but it was just wet and very chewy.

Delicious vegan pizza - definitely recommend the vegan pepperoni and margherita! Cute little restaurant, mostly for takeaway. Staff super friendly and polite. Will come again for sure.

Eine super leckere Pizzeria mit ausgefallenen Pizzavariationen. Der Teig ist wirklich gut und die Mitarbeiter überaus freundlich und nett. Wir waren während unseres Edinburghaufenthaltes mehrfach hier und können "Dough" weiterempfehlen. Auf wenigen Plätzen kann man auch gemütlich vor Ort essen.

I enjoyed my margherita pizza a lot, and the price was fine. The pizza was about the right size for one person, but it was so good that I wanted more when I was finished.

I stopped in while walking around looking for somewhere to grab a bite with my son. I asked about getting a gluten free pizza. I was informed that they do have a gluten free dough but there is a possibility of cross contamination. Being sensitive to gluten, not celiac, I decided to chance it. I’m so glad I did. It was fantastic. It was a good size for the price. Quality ingredients. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Mostly take away with only a small counter to eat at. I highly recommend! The best I’ve had for a long time. My son liked his as well.

Got more than we expected - the pizzas were exceptionally good, the staff above average friendly and accommodating. If we visit Edinburgh again, we would definitely come back.

Tried most of their pizzas and my favorite is SALSICCIA E FRIARIELLI (call me crazy but it reminds me of Chinese food in the best way possible) and also like PARMA & FIGS although most of them are decent. Hubby loves SCOZIA but most often orders PEPPERONI. We love their dough that tastes like... naan? The texture is just sublime - even for someone like me who tends to leave the crust, it's hard to resist. They're pretty fast too. Like it better than Civerinos although that's also good. Razzo Pizza Napoletana in Leith is similar/comparable.

Food arrived at a decent time from ordering. However, all the food was cold. Not even warm to touch. Arancini was burnt and soggy. I called the shop to inform them. Although, 'friendly' they offered no help whatsoever. The usual, contact Uber eats for a refund. As I wasn't after a refund I suugested sending hot pizzas. Which they refused to do. Claiming there are no drivers. Having to resort to re-heating in our domestic oven. Really poor standards all round, really. From quality of product to service. Matto all the way. What a shame Dough(nuts)

I have been a huge fan of all the dough locations for years and this past weekend I ordered 20 pizzas to be delivered for my wedding party, the team went the extra mile for us and the pizzas were delicious as always. I couldn't recommend them enough!

We visited here the other night after a recommendation. Shop is small but nice. Open kitchen which is cool. Staff were nice enough. They offer a good selection of pizzas and sides. My wife went with the pepperoni and I went the Diavola. We also got mushroom arancini balls and a couple of cannoli (pistachio and chocolate). Arancini was ok. Nice flavour but were a bit mushy in the middle. The garlic sauce that it came with was delicious. We thought £6 for two small balls was quite expensive. We enjoyed our pizzas. They tasted lovely and weren’t too oily. I would have liked the pizza cooked a bit longer as the under carriage looked a bit undercooked for my preference. Still tasty though. We got a packaged mozzarella ball on the side which was a bit unusual. We couldn’t open it so we just left it. Again, we did feel that it was quite pricey for the pizzas as they weren’t that large and didn’t warrant the higher price. The cannoli’s weren’t fresh and were quite disappointing. Overall, the pizzas were really nice but certainly had better, less expensive ones.

Food has gone downhill over the past 6 months. It has been our go to pizza delivery for nearly 2 years now, but recently the quality of the food has gotten worse. Pizzas often arrive cold. The tomato base is often lacking and only in the centre of the pizza leaving very large crusts. The truffle parmesan mayo dip has also gotten worse, it used to be amazing. I understand it is hard times, and restaurants are having to make tough decisions, but I'd rather pay 10% more and keep the quality. I want to add we gave them the benefit of the doubt on the first few bad pizzas, but now it is nearly every time. I hope they can return to their former glory, the pizzas used to be amazing!

The pizza was not that great - most of the crust was burnt and their were almost no toppings. On top of this, we were overcharged when we checked later - it was incredibly sketchy to order from here. Will not be returning.

Pizza looks OK. Neither pizza was cut at all. We had to rip it apart. We are in a hotel room with no utensils which is why we got delivery in the first place. Very disappointed.

The service was questionable. The younger of the two males was pleasant but the other chap was abrupt and rude and was touching the food with bare hands after touching items around the place. He shouldn’t be customer facing if he doesn’t know how to speak to customers. Also put on some gloves as it’s unhygienic and take a leaf out of your friendly colleagues book.

Alleen afhaal, maar hele lekkere pizza's! Ook wel iets apartere, de mijne had bijvoorbeeld avocado en verse spinazie. Prijs ligt net boven de 10 pond per pizza, maar dat is die zeker waard!

Ordered 3 pizzas with extra toppings and paid extra for priority delivery , which is a 15 min drive max away. Food took over a hour to arrive and was stone cold with hardly anything in them not cut and they were really small . So disappointed . Worst pizzas every seen or tasted and staff very unhelpful when complained . Waste of £50!

Ordered 2 pizzas from here on the 24/7/22 amazing! Loved them, raved about them. Ordered the exact same pizzas tonight for me and a friend, small soggy, floppy seen thicker sheets of paper. I prefer a thin pizzas but this was more like a super thin crepe. I was super embarrassed in front of my friend after ranting about how good they were, seems like a hit or a miss, shame.

I went there last week and I have to say: WOW! I was with a friend and we ordered two pizzas, we shared so both of us could try different flavors. We had the DIAVOLA BHIQ and PORTOBELLO. It's hard to say which one I liked better because they were both amazing! If you're looking for delicious pizza, nice place and good service - this is your place in Edinburgh!

This is a sort of boutique (but not really) pizza place. Many options. I had the vegetarian pepperoni pizza 12.5£ but with online 10% discount paid 11.25£ 12 inch hand made thin pizza. Toppings were as u see. Taste wise a little sour which was a welcome change. But 3/5 overall. Price wise 1/5. Mainly becuz toppings were so minimal as you can see. Over all 2/5. One pizza for one person

So-so. Occasionally really nice but lately the pizzas have gone down in quality, fewer topping and thicker crust rim. The toppings also always fall off the pizza when I pick it up. They never cut the slices properly so you can pick up each slice without pulling everything off the other slices. Nice decor and shop design + branding. Love their colour theme.

Delicious pizza best eaten fresh — I ate mine in the car 😂 Ordered the Pear & Gorgonzola pizza and it came with tons of walnuts and honey I think. Really generous with the toppings, plus lots of mozzarella cheese. Dough was chewy and airy, crust was great, the medley of the different ingredients was wonderful. Happy to have tried it!

Definitely the best pizza we've had so far. Better than in Italy. The dough was delicious light and tasty and the toppings just so tasty. What makes it proper is that it is stone baked. The only pizza you should eat in Edinburgh. Although a bit expensive for us.

Disappointed- used to be really good but the last few times i've ordered it has come back burnt or something else has been wrong. This time it was burnt with very little topping. It was so much dough in comparision to the toppings... I think for the money you pay per pizza you at least expect to be able to eat all of it!

The most inconsistent pizza in Edinburgh. Sometimes great, usually bad. Prices on menu don’t match what you pay (apparently it’s an “old” menu in-store which seems to never get updated). From uncooked raw dough to a base so thin it was like eating a poppadom, I’d advise going elsewhere.

Best pizza parmigiana I ever had! (Sept 2019)

What happened? My partner and I used to love the pizza from dough and thought we'd try it after the rebranding. The meat is not the same, I used to have a lovely spicy wild boar salami and my partner has the pepperoni. The slices of pepperoni have shrunk by about half the size and the tomato sauce doesn't have the same zing it used to. My wild boar pizza doesn't exist anymore sadly so I went for the Diavola: pepperoni, chillis, salami, spicy honey and a mozzarella burrata. Frankly it was just disappointing. We also ordered their new garlic cheese roulade which didn't show up and instead we got another margarita pizza. It may have been a bad day for them but we won't be ordering again sadly. I assume with the rebranding they switched to cheaper ingredients and it shows.

We've always LOVED dough, but ordered last night after they'd been closed for a holiday and a rebrand and were pretty disappointed. Despite the fact we picked up ourselves and ate immediately, the base was hard and dry, not at all like the soft chewy crust we usually get. Our old favourite the ham and pineapple (which used to be incredible, smoky slow cooked ham hock shredded over the pizza) had been replaced with a cured ham that was much tougher and not at all as tasty. A real shame.

We wanted something a bit different from the usual pizza chains. We took a gamble on Dough and it turns out it was a very good gamble! The pizza was delicious, really fresh and tasty. We would definitely choose here again over a big brand pizza chain. The prices were similar too.

My partner and I love Dough! Honestly the best pizza’s we have ever had! Good vegetarian options and amazing customer services. Had a bit of a rough day today and I’m like, “oh Dough!!” But you guys are closed for a bit 😞. I’m saying that you all deserve a break. Can’t wait to order again. Steven. ❤️✌🏼

We were looking for something different for dinner and ended up ordering from here. Turns out we made a great choice!! The pizza arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious! We will definitely order from here again.

The pizzas are the best I have ever had in Edinburgh. They have the perfect combination of ingredients and it is evident they are made with care. They definitely made my day with an excellent service: the young lady that attended me and my friend treated us exceptionally. I highly recommend this place and I intend to come back soon.

The food was very good and the pizzas seemed like truly traditional italian pizzas. Using sea water for the dough is a great idea. Also, the young lady that attended me was very nice and professional, and made the whole experience at the restaurant even more pleasant. Definitely will come back.

The food is actually quite nice, but ordering from this place is very dodgy. Ordered food from here twice, once directly, the other through Uber Eats, both times received either incomplete or entirely incorrect orders. If you plan to get Dough Pizza, don't trust the place to get your order right when delivering, make sure you pick it up yourself.

As good as it gets in Edinburgh. Very authentic and extremely flavourful. Unfortunately the food arrived late and wasn't as hot as we'd liked.

I’ve twice tried Dough during lockdown and both times the pizza was excellent. They have vegan, vegetarian and meat options, and you can order a ‘half and half’ pizza. Pizzas come in 10” and 14” sizes and they also make delicious salads and flatbreads. The Portobello is my favourite dish so far. I ordered delivery through their website which was a few pounds cheaper than going through other food delivery apps. They also offer a discount code for online orders. So far delivery has been bang on time, which I really appreciate. Great job!

Great pizza, but an awful customer service experience. We ordered online very easily, but when we drove round to pickup no-one greeted me at the counter. I arrived 5 minutes after the collection time and was still told to wait another 10 minutes. When we finally got our pizzas we drove home to find that one of our pizzas (Portobello mushroom) was just cheese and bread.... We drove back and got the order re-made but it meant we had to rush eating the first pizza and then drive all the way back across town to an already poor experience. The saving grace was the pizza itself. It was very spongy and light and tasted amazing, but the experience was a little tainted by everything around it. Not sure if we're gonna go back....

Tried here one night on the way home from work.Excellent.One of the best pizzas I have tried.Prices are not over the top.Great choice.Been back several times now tried a few different ones and never had one that I didn't enjoy.Have a varied choice including vegan.Only problem is for delivery I am out of delivery area.Be prepared to wait if you walk in as very busy but it's not to long. Better to phone and collect as they give you a time even online.

Delicious pizza and super fast delivery. Way better than the standard chain pizzerias. The dough is very tasty and satisfying while still being light, so you don’t feel heavy after eating. The mozzarella and tomato sauce are done in true Italian style and just perfect. The delivery driver was lovely, polite and friendly too. You won’t regret ordering from Dough! It’s definitely our new favourite pizza place.

I tried to order Pizza from Dough. The website is poorly designed and I couldn't manage to order what we wanted through it. I tried calling them but they refused to take the order over the phone. I had to give up.

Such good, delicious pizza. Nowhere else compares. Great service too - asked if they could make the Vegan Affair a vegetarian affair and they happily did it. Smokey ham and mushroom, and the frizzante pizzas are favourites as well! Their passata sauce is amazing!

Second visit, very fast service only waited around 10 minutes for it to cook. My only negative would be the sparse topping for the near £15 price, which has certainly gotten worse since I went a year ago. Perhaps it just depends who makes your pizza.

I'm not a huge fan of take away. However Dough pizzeria doesn't rely on salt and oil to make their pizza taste good. Definitely tasty pizza!
