We are currently staying in the said hotel and this has been 4th consecutive day. Our total booking was for 4 nights and 5 days. Always had high respect towards this brand and chain of hotels but this stay completely proved me wrong. 1)At time of check in we put forward our problem regarding being vegetarian and we were assured that we can get in touch with the chef regarding our requirements. Next morning when we tried asking the chef regarding plain veg sandwiches(with tomatoes and cucumbers) as none of the buffet items were not for our liking due to various meats and cooking styles it was turned down. 2) for straight 3 breakfasts we had seen the menu is the same and there is not even an item which differs from day to day. This makes us think if items in the breakfast are freshly made or the ones from the previous day are just put again 3) When we try calling up for any kind of room service for dental kits or cutlery and empty utensils from in room dining nobody ever responds and every night we have to go to the reception and collect dental kits. Unable to understand what kind of service does this mean? And as nobody responded for cutlery etc when we went to the reception requesting the same to be sent to our room, to our horror we were informed that we need to go to the restaurant and take the plates and cutlery on our own to the room. 4) Being the 4th day, apart from 1st day we never saw the complimentary water bottles being placed in the rooms when the rooms are cleaned by the room service teams. If there were 4 different customers on 4 different nights wouldn't the hotel provide water to the checking in customers ? On questioning the reception staff about such kind of behavior towards the customers, they end up answering that this is the policy of Hilton This is a very honest review and shocking experience of us

Room 640. What an amazing room, amazing views, best hot shower I have ever had, 12 o’clock check out is decent. Staff very attentive and will remember you and very nice and friendly. Free ferry over to Canary Wharf every 10-15 mins. You can check in and check out using the app and get your key on the app. I didn’t use the gym or anything, breakfast was buffet style but also had a staff member making omelettes to order, very good selection of hot, continental and gluten free food. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

A week after my stay at this hotel, I started getting emails that I did not fully pay for my stay even though I had confirmed that all dues are paid at the time of checkout, as usual. Thinking that these were phishing emails, I did not respond, only to continue to receive such emails. It turned out subsequently that the hotel did not charge me fully at the time of checkout. I made the remaining payment but the hotel management instead of admitting their mistake laid the blame squarely on me in not responding to their emails. I found the management to be incompetent, and unable to apologise for their mistakes.

Come here for my 50th birthday... Thought I would pay a little extra.... Wish I never. Rooms tiny, hotel, away from the bar and restaurant areas, need work... Cold room. Paid for a better room with a balcony.. It's like a caravan, size and shape. Bathroom is so small the door touches the toilet.. Carpet stains. Not clean at all.. Remote for TV disgusting. The hotel is in need of renovation.. Juts painted over woodwork so many times instead of replacing properly... No coffee machine either. States on Booking.com. Well maybe it's worded wrong and.. Coffee bags???? Awful.... Worst thing I've ever had. Now, I have to go find a decent coffee. I'm my birthday.. After having a hotel that's around £300 a night, What a joke... No coffee machine...... Oh, a kettle, coffee "bags" and a spoon... Guess that's a coffee "maker" And I have another night here big mistake coming here on my half century day 😔😭😞 Damp cold room... Only good thing is the balcony.. But it's November, so pretty chilly unfortunately.. I do not recommend whatsoever.. Stay away, unless you get it for a real low price Room 644

We had a fantastic trip to London and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hilton docklands. All staff here go above and beyond. Would like to say a special thankyou to Dean and Mohammed, with helping with disability needs. This hotel is absolutely outstanding. Free ferry ride to canary wharf, comes with hotel stay, bar and restaurant provides exquisite food, offering room service - for nighttime eaters. Breakfast buffet, food is superb, excellent Wi-Fi speedy coverage, bar also overlooking a fantastic view of the riverside. Would highly recommend booking uber taxis via the hub provided in main reception, so much cheaper and rides available to us within minutes. Room condition thoroughly clean on arrival, hot running water, bed and pillows immensely soft. Balcony also provided for an incredible view of the river. Dean does an exceptional job of attending to the contentment of others, the Hilton Docklands is the only ever place I will stay in the whole of London, its 10* at a great cost!

I've previously said Tower Bridge Doubletree could be the jewel in the Crown for Hilton London hotels but Bankside runs a very close second if not first. The welcome from Pawenpreet ( I hope I have spelt that correctly ) was lovely as was the service from the other reception staff Ifan, Marcia and Jonas. The restaurant food was delicious and the service again especially from Christina from Croatia long blond hair exceptional. Breakfast was well organised and plentiful and the young chap running the show been with Hilton 8 years impeccable. Great service from everyone great hotel we'd love to come back. Thank you

Very special hotel located on the riverside. Take the ferry across the water to arrive in style via the hotel's own jetty. Fantastic rooms, service and amenities. Highly recommend the breakfast options as everything is lovely no matter what your taste. The views due to the location are fantastic. Anywhere else in London expect the drone of cars and people, but here you are just far enough from the noise to relax.

The ferry across the Thames to Canary Wharf and station is a nice touch. The rooms are small but the private and very quiet rooms are worth it! An excellent European, British and American breakfast option.

I loved it, location in a quiet area with a bus every 10 minutes or even less. We can be eating or having coffee overlooking the river. The hotel also has a place to dock the boat that takes you to the other side of the river, and the most fascinating thing is free traffic for hotel guests.😊

I stayed in late August '24, it was very welcoming, friendly staff and a great location. The free boat across the river is a great addition too. Room decent, quiet and spacious. Great river terrace. Highly recommended.

REDACTED Discovered eventually that we were robbed of valuables by staff, use the safe in the room! Didn't think this would be a problem in a civilized country like England, but you could be so wrong! The room was a bit dated and dirty. The service was impeccable and both breakfast and dinner good. Free ferry over to Canary Wharf where you can have dinner in several places. Bus stop nearby for travel to other places. The hotel is ideally located by the Thames.

Even I informed reception about my so early leaving twice they dismissed my requirements of pack my breakfast. It seems they are not used to follow through client requirements. But the bill and my bill was entirely payed. No form of evaluation afterwards came as a Hilton Honor's member sustem usually send.

Quiet location and well positioned by the tames with free ferry to cross over into Canary Wharf North/South colonnade. I enjoyed my morning because I didn't have to rush out for transport. Meal was super and the whole ambience was great.

What a great hotel! Near by the Themse...Canary Wharf at the other side...You can reach it with hotel self Uber! We enjoyed London this time per Uber...I loved the water because at nights...The lights from the buildings over the waves reminds me of Manhattan! The hotel lobby is amazing. The restaurant inside was so cozy...The food with Indian touch so delicious and the staff very friendly. You can sit in the bar, you can use the fitness room and with uber or bus or taxi you have the choice or you came with your own car. The room was very tiny with bathtube. For one person enough but for two...The flair from these hotel at Riverside is really great! At the other side is Canary Wharf with lots of beautiful restaurants, cafes, shopping centre....The Chinese Restaurant great! At stars up and right you come to a bakery with great coffee and almond croissants! A little walk in the morning and the water drive is so freshing! You can go and make your jogging round or go with your dog or bike...You can use the Uber up and down the Themse: London Tower, London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parlament, O2 Arena, Greenwich...You can go everywhere! And this hotel was for us a wonderful place to stay for our time in London.

Hotel of average quality. Great views from the common areas. Possibility to use the boat directly from the hotel. Right next to it there is a bus stop with a 24-hour bus to the center. Rooms clean. The disadvantages include paid wifi (£5 per day...), no socket for a hairdryer in the bathroom, and faulty air conditioning in my room. P

From arrival to check-in was great with a fantastic member of staff named Jonas whom was very helpful, professional , and excellent customer service/care provided by him was outstanding. The penthouse suite was nice and large best part was the amazing view from our balcony. The restaurant is very standard and feel was lacking a variety of food. For us the biggest disappointment was from starting so well ended very badly with being woken up at 3am by staff/security being accused of smoking as the smoke detector apparently went off 😤and the demands for coming in which meant the penthouse being checked throughly meant I had to get out of bed and dress ! Very very angry and have now escalated my complaint to head office. After that I couldn’t go back to sleep as I was on edge and was made to feel very uncomfortable. For this reason we will think twice before booking a double tree by Hilton again and myself and my husband being a Hilton loyalty members this was unacceptable.

Great for the price. The room wasn't quite up to the standard that I was expecting though. But for the price I should have expected it really and was happy enough. Overall it felt like it needed some modernisation. Absolutely no view from the very tiny window I had. Corridor immediately outside room was noisy. Staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating.

Such a lovely hotel…shame about the service though :( the breakfast ‘manager’ was rude and arrogant and had no idea how to manage the guests flow - with many tables empty he insisted on people waiting in a long queue for almost half an hour. If it wasn’t for his colleague who saved the day and was polite to the guests, this would be a one star review.

Not as nice as its reputation. The rooms are OK, but would need to be fixed and refurbished in some parts. Service was poor. Originally given a ground floor room with windows overlooking on the parking/main entrance (so no privacy whatsoever) , because they apparently didn't have any other rooms available. I did request a better one, and they did have more rooms available! They do NOT offer room service for breakfast! Not what you expect from this kind of place. Disappointing experience.

Nice upgrade to a king deluxe with a view of the Thames. Hotel has nice public areas, but some of corridors and doors to the rooms show signs of wear and tear. Room was a good size with desk, wardrobe, occasional chair with table, bed with bedside units and TV mounted on the wall. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, an illuminated mirror and plenty of shelf space. The windows were floor to ceiling, and a small balcony was available. See photo taken from the bed. Breakfast was well presented with the usual range of fayre to be expected at a DT. Chef out front to make omelettes and poached eggs. Staff were friendly throughout the stay, and welcoming. There is a Uberboat ferry that runs across the river to Canary Wharf, this is free for hotel residents. Once across the river its 12-14 min walk to Canary Wharf tube. Alternatively a 20 min walk from the hotel gets you to Canada Water. As a Diamond member I felt my status was well recognised. I njoyed the stay, laying in bed listening to the water lapping outside was very relaxing. There can be some aircraft noise from planes departing London City Airport. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Have stolen the 800£ from my bank account. I have pre-payed all room numbers. The paid for extras during the checkout. 3 hours after the checkout the tried to charge my bank card for 800£, but card was empty. I called them and they told me that it is a mistake and they just didn’t see that I have prepaid my room number. AND TWO DAYS AFTER THAT I HAVE TOP UPED MY BANK ACCOUNT ANT THEY CHARGED IT WITH 800£. NOW THET DON’T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE CALL

very old hotel, most lifts not working with sign on them sending you to another lift only to find out that one isnt working either. AC in the room is really noisy, even if you turn it off for the night it goes automatically on several times a night due to heating and it wakes you. Communicating with the hotel is a pain - when in need of any change before the stay they let you go through all the steps in online chat only to tell you at the end that they are offline and you should call them. When calling them, the phone listed on their web for my country was not working, received two different error messages when trying to use it. found a different number and when finally getting to a live agent the call was ended out of a sudden. Burned like 55 minutes with them trying to achieve such a basic thing as modifying a reservation

Nice pub, let down by clueless bar staff with zero experience. Drinks aren’t cheap and they have no clue how to pour a spirit with a mixer and no hint of an apology nor replacement. If you drink beer or wine then you’ll be fine as they can’t screw that up.

Booked last minute for afternoon tea. It was lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful and we felt so welcomed. The house is being restored sympathetically and we are definitely going back.

Wow, what a place..... Book for 7pm, we were early 6.30 & the restaurant got us seated which was very nice of them. Service was really good, although 1 server was attending us, each other server would politely ask if we needed anything, nothing pushy, never feeling rushed. The food was great & the portions sizes i felt were just right.. Keep it up, and we will return for sure
