Had to stay here midweek for a buisness meeting in Cambridge. Check in was not the fastest but i found the bed extremely comfortable and enjoyed the extra laundry space available. Grest service by Susan at breakfast in the morning!

Booked here for one night stopover on route to see family in London. Comfortable bed, very clean room. Food was great as it always is with the Hilton brand

First of all staff helpful and friendly hotel fine but got back after first day bedroom had not been cleaned or towels changed reported it to reception told that it would be done when have evening dinner got back at 10pm nothing done rang reception nobody answered reported in the morning and it was cleaned that day.Last night at dinner preordered the meal was told they had run out so so offered a second choice after fifteen minutes only to be told that was off the menu cut a long story short ended up having egg and chips not what you expect from a 4 Star which is a shame as the staff are very nice.

What can say ? On arrival first view lovely hotel 👌 big car park so no problem. From of house staff were very friendly? Not forget to wear your face covering at all time around the hotel so they were very helpful with checking in . First floor bedrooms long corridor and very doors have a cleaning sticker on it . Inside the rooms are lovely double bed plus bath and shower 🚿 so the missus was happy 👌 large 52inc wall mounted tv 📺 👌 and the usual tea & coffee ☕ on hand . We booked for the gym which they give you about hour because of the covid ruling.the locker are a 4 digit code (no money needed) the morning breakfast you are welcome by staff who are very friendly and helpful with your order sad to say no more self service buffet but the food is nice 👍. Later on we pop down to the restaurant for dinner 🍽 wow? the food was so nice and large to much to eat 😩 we had a great 2 days stay and again the staff are young people but the service is so 5 star standard etc : now will i come back ? YEAH ......

We had booked dinner, bed and breakfast here, as we’ve never been disappointed at a Doubletree. Evening menu was okay and we both chose a starter and main. Starters: Fish and chip bites and tomato and basil soup. Very tasty. Mains: wheatberry, Apple & cranberry salad with chicken and Haddock & chips. Very nice. Lovely bottle of red wine with our meal. Lovely view of a large pond, with huge fish, from the restaurant. Pleasant to walk around. Due to covid breakfast has changed. The staff serve you your hot choices, still have fresh fruit, yoghurts, bread, jam etc but the difference is all is individually wrapped. Definitely would come back and definitely would eat here again.

Reluctant to write a review as we wanted to keep this bistro a secret. The bistro really is good value for money. We go for the Sunday Roast every couple of weeks and it never disappoints. well cooked and presented. Lovely peaceful eating area. A special shout out to the staff, really helpful. If visiting use the park and ride car park and follow the path to the Hospice.

Always enjoy visiting here for something to eat and drink, usually breakfast items such as a bacon and egg roll, scrambled eggs on toast. Food quality is always very good, and I think the staff there are excellent. Polite, friendly and always very helpful. Visit about two or three times a month. We have bought plants, bags of peat or compost, and I like the collection of greeting cards for sale. Always good to spend the money accumulated on the Loyalty card.

Sunday lunch. Loads of well cooked veg and tender meat. Only criticism was the vast amount of thick (bland) gravy poured over the entire meal. Would have preferred a gravy boat so could choose how much gravy to have. Unfortunately the gravy dominated all the other flavours - other wise would have been a delicious Sunday Roast. At £20 a head I would have expected delicious (non-generic) gravy that compliments the meal. Sticky toffee pudding was to die for ! Lots of warm sticky toffee sauce and a light and delicious sponge , and some lovely vanilla ice cream ! Staff were lovely , service quick and efficient. Lovely ambience. Minor tweak with the gravy recipe / and a gravy boat and would have been top marks !
