Great drinks and lovely bar staff. Came in after dinner for some beers and cocktails. Would recommend for any after dinner drinks! Thanks guys. Russ was an amazing bartender!

I initially thought that this was a great spot for drinks in London. However when ordering a bottle of rose wine, we realised too late that the MUCH more expensive bottle of wine had been opened and poured. It's a massive con by the restaurant/hotel. Be very careful what you order here and double check bottles as they are opened!

Staff are lovely. But the food is hit and miss. Chicken burger is great but the waffle very dry. Had to send it back twice. Love the decor but I don't think the food is good enough to come back.

Terrible experience, went for bottomless brunch. Drinks were not topped up throughout, one person's food was overcooked, one person received incorrect meal, then once they got the correct one the chicken was raw. Emailed them about experience, said they would get back to us but haven't heard anything in over a week.

interesting building, beautifully designed. Very poor service. we were waiting over half an hour to be served. then we moved to the bar as we thought there is no table service. situation at the bar was the same, no one approached us until we asked to be served. cocktails bellow average. nice venue and ambience on weekends but for the prices you charge - plus 15% service charge - much more is expected.

Poor service, visited 25/02/2024 and had to wait 15 minutes to be served, despite being seated at the bar by the waitress, and it not being that busy. We had to ask 3 times to be served until someone finally took our order. We felt unwanted, and as soon as we were about to leave, the staff had cleaned our glasses up before we were even out of the door! So took 15 minutes to serve us but no time to clean up after us. One waitress waived a drink off the bill as an apology, but still not good enough. Don’t go here if you look a certain way, you will get judged and deemed not good enough for them.

Fabulous venue but absolutely shocking prices for drinks. Bought drinks at the bar and each time charged a £10 service charge. And to boot the bar service couldn’t be slower. Fantastic vibe, DJ but how do you get 3 drinks to £51? Bottle of wine, added a £10 service charge. Very underhand.

£26.45 for a single G&T and medium glass of wine at the Standard hotel bar. That included £3.45 "service charge", despite the fact that I went to the bar, ordered, and returned with the drinks myself. Oh, and the bar was rammed so we had to drink in the hotel reception. Blatant price gouging. Try The Harrison pub just around the back, for a far more atmospheric experience at less than half the price. Wish I'd gone there first.

Had a fabulous experience at the Double Standard! The smiling staff and excellent service elevate the atmosphere and the overall ambiance. Special shout-out to Bernardo for the excellent cocktails!

I sit at the bar and ordered drinks, bar atmosphere is stunning, besides that I met Kle, he is friendly and kind person, I really enjoyed being there, I look forward to visiting again when I back to London It’s the bar doubles your standard ;)

We had the most amazing dinner & drinks, Azad was very attentive & friendly - cocktails were fab & food was faultless - we will definitely be back! The staff were attentive and warm in their manner. They were polite also.

My girlfriend and I often go for drinks at Double Standard, and every time Aaliyah is there, we always have a great service which makes our experience that much better. She is always really welcoming and attentive. The music in the lounge area matches the vibe and the volume is just right. The fire place is probably our favourite spot.

Double Standard has slowly become me and my girl’s favourite spot. We love visiting here, and the staff are so welcome! Particularly, Aaliyah, who has served us and always been absolutely patient with us too. She convinced us to try the sticky toffee pudding, and now we get it every time we go. The atmosphere is beautiful, it’s so relaxing and there’s a fire place right next to where me and my baby always sit. The music is calming, drinks are good and everyone is so friendly!

Simply exceptional experience, I highly recommend it if you are a cocktail lover and enjoy great vibe and ambiance. The staff were more than happy to engage in conversations about the menu, offering insights into the inspiration behind each drink, which was fun and interesting, thanks Yuno and Angon :-) The biggest shout out however goes to Massimo, who tailered a bespoke cocktail to my preferences that totally blew my mind!It was definitely the pinnacle of the night. Soooooo glad i found this place.

The food was yummy, and good portions, which I wasn’t expecting, to be honest. The sauces exceeded my expectation- the cajun one tastes like pepperoni, and the fried chicken sauce was very satisfying. We were served by Nas who was very friendly and constantly there but not in fact in an annoying way, rather in a helpful way. When he came over whilst we were eating we were able to tell him that the Hotbucha (spicy kombucha) tasted terrible he gave us a new drink free of charge, which was way nicer!! Deffo recommend the Pina Colada (non alcholic). Unfortunately they didn’t have the bean burger when I went which I think is the only veggie main on their menu 🥲. Be warned though the drinks are expensivvvve. We had an excellent time at Morley’s x Heinz. We ordered the caviar chicken, chicken burgers and the wing tower - all were delicious albeit a bit overpriced but to be expected at a pop-up! Our server Nordine was great and totally made the evening! Would recommend a visit to any chicken lovers!
