Double Dragon in St Edmundsbury

Listen .. I am a fair reviewer and always give the benefit of the doubt to local small businesses .. we had, Sting Rolls, Hit and Spicy Ribs, Special Chow Mien, Chilli Beef, Special Fried Rice and I can honestly say it was the worse load of unseasoned tasteless awful stooge I have ever tasted. We put the lot in the bin. No wonder they only accept telephone orders .. we thought we would have a change from Noodle King, big mistake, you have been warned

Had king prawns in black pepper sauce alongside some Singapore fried rice 🔥🔥 Both were very tasty meals

Food was disgusting, chicken chow mein was dry, vegetable spring rolls were stringy, I'd never order from here again!!!!!

Our food hasn't turned up.... Its been over 2 hours now. The lady on the phone said it was on its way... And hour later it still wasn't here. We then found out it hadn't even left the kitchen. They lie!

Myself and my parents ordered from this restaurant via JustEat, as it was the only Chinese restaurant in the area that delivered to their address. I really wish we hadn’t bothered. The lady on the phone told us our order would be about an hour. 2 hours later, and after several unanswered phone calls on their part, our order finally arrived; stone cold and virtually inedible. The sweet and sour sauce had congealed in its carton from being sat so long, the pork fried rice had no pork in it, and our order of chips had turned to mush from the amount of grease swimming at the bottom of the bag. I really wish that was an exaggeration! To top it all off, my mum’s order of Chicken Chow Mien was completely missing! Avoid!

Ribs chewy and old, the peas in special fried rice were in boiling water for at least 2 hours before they ended up in the box with rice . satay chicken good but evidently not prepared to order and the sea weed soggy and too salty

Me and my partner ordered two dishes which were shredded chilli beef and salt/pepper ribs. Upon arrival, the delivery driver was really polite (probably because he knew he was delivering inedible food. We opened the shredded chilli beef and it was swimming in glue-like sauce, beef was extremely chewy and the veg was inadequate. The most horrific dish were the ribs! My partner opened them and was horrified to see small chunks of meet with snapped bone inside. It looked like nothing other than scraps and didn’t even resemble ribs. It even made us question what kind of meat it was!!! We will NEVER be going to this Chinese again. Absolutely vile!

We ordered three items this evening, egg fried rice, Hong Kong style chicken without the vegetables, and chicken chow mien without onions. The young lady on the phone repeated my order back to me and said it would be a little over 45 minutes. 1 hour 25 minutes later it arrived cold and with every thing I’d asked to be removed in the dishes. I called back and was told to issue a refund they would need the food back and to reorder would be another 45 minutes. I asked the young lady if I could speak to a manager. She said he would call me back. Except he wouldn’t speak to me himself and made her talk to me. I have been offered a free chow mien on my next order. This takeaways only redeeming quality is the polite young lady who answered the phone.

Ordered a Chinese last night....order was delivered wrong...we got special fried rice instead of egg fried rice, no sweet and sour sauce and 20 spring rolls we didn’t order...chicken balls were rocks hard...all though the rest of the food was nice and was lovely to have on our long shift

Waste of money how this place is still open is beyond me. Never AGAIN! will I use this takeaway Please AVOID!

The food was terrible I will never eat from there again! I don’t think I have ever had a Chinese as bad is this before.

Ordered our meal which cost £70 for 7pm delivery. Food was 45 minutes late for starters and then to add insult to injury half the order was missing!! Called the restaurant and was told they would send out the missing parts of the order but it would be another 45 minutes.... then 5 minutes later received another phone call from the restaurant saying that they had spoken with the chef and the manager and the order was correct went sent out so there would be no additional delivery as there were nothing missing...? Absolute jokers! We had late delivery and then half the order delivered!!! Have been a regular client of this restaurant for over a year always spending at least £60 per order and that’s the treatment you get for your loyalty...! WOULD NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!! Avoid!!

Me and my partner ordered form here and it was disgusting. The meat was tough and not even hot. The prawn crackers were stale. Everything was microwaved. We honeslty felt sick after. I would highly reccomend never ordering from this place again.

the food is very poor quality. we had prawn toast and it had a funky taste (gone off) the chicken chow main was over cooked and not nice avoid at all cost

Ordered takeaway quite expensive as well, arrived 2 hours late no updates or apology. No prawn crackers and food was cold and basically not edible! Will not use ever again. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog

- Ordered food from as a birthday treat for my little brother. The food was 3 hours late, after calling them from 5 different phones in total about 300 calls and they never picked up. When they finally picked up the rude man said the reason our food was late was because THE DRIVER WAS A WOMAN. yep.... Then I got a call 30 mins later from the woman asking for my address as she didn't have it! Our food turned up COLD, the food was DRY and not nice to eat at all. It's the worst Chinese I've ever had. And we got the food at around 9:30, which is unacceptable when placing an order at 6:15/30 for a 12 year olds birthday treat.

The meal was a lot of money for discusting crap..The meat was tough and all of it got left,the doughy balls were half cooked and soggy inside and the rice was cold,Never again will we go in that place..

Has got to be the worst Chinese in bury I would highly recommend to not order from here you will be disappointed

As our usual place was closed we thought we would try somewhere different,Chicken curry tastes more like water than n e thing elsefood overcooked and mushy breaking apart at every touch generally the worst meal i have ever placed near my mouth i would not recommed this to any one any under no curcumstance ever trying here againYours sincerly an Extremly unhappy customer
