We have ordered food from here before and it was delicious. This time it was an hour late, flavourless, bland and just not nice. I think they must of made some bad hires or just stopped caring either way the next time I order from here satan will be skating to work.

Oh dear!! Probably the worst Mexican food or should I say attempt at Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. The chicken tacos are sloppy and wet, and inedible. Tortillas were stale and the quesadillas were dripping in orange grease and tasted nothing like they should. Called the restaurant to complain and told “if you check the recipe” seriously??? I’ve lived in New York and eaten a lot of Mexican food in my time and this was just rank wet greasy slop. About £30 pounds worth of food went in the bin. Absolutely disgraceful.

This was the worst takeaway I have ever ordered. An absolutely tiny portion of chilli (about 3 tablespoon full!) the tortillas were stale and soggy and completely inedible, everything looked nothing like the photos and was incredibly overpriced. I paid £15 for the chilli! So disappointed, I used to work in a mexican restaurant and it’s not hard food to get right. Just make it fresh and give decent portions 😫

Ordered through deliveroo. They never delivered. We called the restaurant 15 times, they didn't pick up. Don't bother. *It wasn't my account we ordered off so no idea why they've responded with the below. They wouldn't have had my details (name, number etc) so how do they know what order I'm referring to. The address and number on the account was correct as we ordered through deliveroo and the details were up to date. Look at their other reviews, there are so many with delivery issues.

4 stars for the food, 1 for the delivery service. It's decent food - good portions at a reasonable price. It doesn't exactly transport me to Mexico but I don't expect takeaway in Brighton to do that. The delivery service is a mess though. Several times my food has been really late and I've had to chase it through the app, call, etc., sometimes with success sometimes not. Looking at the other reviews here it's a clear pattern - they really need to sharpen up their delivery game. I've also not seen any sign that they really seem to care about the fact they're letting customers down repeatedly on delivery, which is a bit of a red flag to me. I won't be trying again.

Without a shadow of a doubt the absolute worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure of receiving. For context, I'd been ordering from Dos Amigos pretty regularly. I would order through their website, as I prefer to support a local business than go through Deliveroo/UberEats/JustEat if possible. I wait an hour for my food to arrive on a Monday night, all the while I can't get in contact with them. When the food DID arrive, the driver didn't care about the wait, but hey, maybe they're busy? Takeaway drivers must get exhausted. I got my food in the end, so no worries. Except my food was completely burnt, and absolutely inedible (see picture). I tried calling the restaurant 15 times, with absolutely nobody picking up the phone. I had to order food elsewhere, which meant I had to spend twice as much as I originally wanted. I tried calling them the next day - no response. I went down the restaurant, with the uneaten order, only to find them closed despite their listed opening hours. I then contacted DatMan, the company the handles the transactions for the restaurant. They couldn't help me, and referred me to FoodHub, which manages the order system (I think?). FoodHub were also unable to help me. It boiled down to refunds needing to be done by the restaurant, but as I couldn't contact them, I was left in the lurch. The next day, the restaurant FINALLY answered the phone. I explained the issue, and how FoodHub told me that the restaurant needs to issue a refund. The guy on the phone told me he didn't know how, or didn't do it as policy (he wasn't very clear). Told me to contact FoodHub once again. FoodHub told me the same thing they did before, and referred me back to the restaurant. This was after around two phonecalls and an in-app livechat, that were all equally unhelpful. I called back the restaurant, and they fobbed me off and HUNG UP ON ME. I should mention they've hung up on me before about a smaller issue too. I tried calling them back, and they refused to answer the phone, as I'm sure they knew it was me. I explained the situation to FoodHub, sent a picture of the burnt food to them, and they said they'd respond within 24-48hrs. Cut to 2 days later, and I find out they've done absolutely nothing. They once again refer me to the app, and the customer service chat says I need to resolve it with the restaurant. I FINALLY call up FoodHub once more (twice actually, as I got disconnected the first time for some reason), and explain how an issue like this shouldn't take 4 days to resolve. The customer service rep said they will call the restaurant. After 4 days, the restaurant agree to process the refund. This shouldn't have happened, and both FoodHub and Dos Amigos caused me a ridiculous amount of stress just to get a refund for an inedible order. I'm sure they were expecting me to give up so they could keep the money. The food is usually fine, but when things go wrong... man do they go wrong. DO NOT order with these people. If you must, order through Deliveroo or another service where you can claim your money back easier. As someone who's worked in the fast food customer service industry, I can confidently say that the owners of Dos Amigos truly do not give a toss about their customers. I will NEVER order from them EVER again.

I ordered spicy veg fiesta burrito, nachos for one and jalapeño popper. The delivery time was longer than expected, it was estimated between 7:30-50 on Uber east but it arrived at 8:20. I called the restaurant once and the lady was really nice I would have given them a 4 star review due to the delivery time but they nailed the re fried beans on the burrito! And everything arrived hot so it was worth the wait. As a Native bean eater myself, I recommend this restaurant. They have authentic refried beans! Non of that El Paso cat food beans (I don’t normally review restaurants but seeing as their recent reviews are quiet low I needed to share my experience)

Ordered from here a couple of months ago and I can’t begin to describe the disappointment, my bean quesadilla turned up burnt and had promised to contain quac and veg and cheese and sour cream but instead just beans in a wrap. My kids meals were also burnt. Sorry but safe to say me and my family won’t be ordering from here again.

ordered on uber eats. my order still hadnt been delivered an hour after i placed it. so i called and asked where it was, the woman on the phone told me they had just started to prepare it. an hour late. it was delivered a half hour after that. if the restaurant is busy, why accept an order if you cant fulfill it on time? the food itself was okay, it was warm when i received it and they followed my order notes. the only complaint i have is the ratio of meat to rice in my burrito bowl. there were about 7 pieces of grilled chicken on top of a nearly full bowl of rice. it was tasty, but it was disappointing for the price.

Awful experience. Dos Amigos finally cancelled the order after admitting it was still in the kitchen at 10pm. Order was placed at 7.50pm. No phone call, just excuses. Ended up without any dinner since everywhere was shut. Shame, because we were excited about their food.

One of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had. Ordered ahead of their opening - 4pm for a 6pm delivery. The delivery time keep getting pushed back. Around 6:40 the buzzer rang twice. The driver (UberEats) buzzed from downstairs and I buzzed him in twice. Radio silence. UberEats kept saying the delivery was in its way and kept pushing the delivery time back. Again and again. I called the restaurant. The call got disconnected. I kept trying to connect with UberEats. They kept saying the order was on its way so I couldn’t speak to anyone. 45 minutes later…. The concierge knocked on my door asking if the food downstairs was for me. A driver left it downstairs even though they concierge told him he could go into the building and knock on my door to deliver. UberEats did NOT show the order as delivered so I had NO idea what was going on. The food was ice cold, except for the ice cream which was melted. Still CANNOT speak to UberEats. Called Dos Amigos again. They believed the driver wiki said he called 5 times. He never did. Thank you Dos Amigos and UberEats for stealing my money and ruining my night.

Really enjoyed this meal. Really good guacamole, nice fresh tomatoes and onions, homemade tortillas, good fish thing we had. No faults. Maybe more spice next time. Will order again. I never write reviews. Mainly the stuff off uber eats is terrible round here, however this was tasty and good!

Some other delivery places go way too fancy with the mexican food. This is your no frills place to go for mexican food that tastes exactly how it shoud! Thanks!

Decent flavour with the bean and cheese taco. I didn't like the guac, it had so much lemon/lime juice to stop the discolouration that it was a horrible texture and shade. Probably a few days old, I get it we can't be wasting food but it could have been better. Definitely use again, the main meals are great.

Found a hair in my pizza. Domino’s were contacted and absolutely nothing was done about it even though they received a photo and video of the hair. We were told multiple times someone would come to collect it and never did.

The restaurant is not recommended. The prices are overpriced, and the service leaves much to be desired – the staff is unfriendly and unaccommodating. Additionally, the food is of poor quality. The fish and chips served had little resemblance to the traditional English dish and were barely edible. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Went here for dinner tonight with sister and friends ordered 3 fish and chips and one fish cake and chips with beans the batter was stoggy and had no taste whats so ever. The fish was watery and squishy with absolutely no taste, the chips were either hard or soggy and yet again no taste. Made a complaint to the one member of staff that was in there to be told well I put them all in together and then walked off . Asked to speak to a manager to be told not here asked for money back as food so bad to be told the manager would call me, but as yet no phone call if you are thinking of eating here I would seriously change your mind disgraceful also huge price difference for eating compared to take

Asda Hollingbury - long story. We used to go there for convenience as its closest to us. A few weeks ago, using scan and go as usual, I was selected for a quality check. I welcome quality checks because I cannot stand it when people steal as it drives prices up for everyone. I was told I had missed three items and a full rescan was required. I felt incredibly embarrassed and guilty for having missed 3 items. Had to unpack everything, it was scanned through the till and I had to repack everything. It happened a second time despite me feeling certain I had scanned everything. Again, a whole lot of hassle and embarrassment for me. This time a member of staff helped pack. She damaged some of our yogurts during the process as she carelessly put items in my bags. Today, I made sure I checked every single item had actually appeared on the handheld scanner. Again, I was selected for a quality check, apparently I missed the eggs, I know I scanned them. During the full rescan it apparently transpired I had missed 3 out of 5 t- shirts, which I know with 100% certainty I hadn't. I made a complaint to what I believe to be the store manager Jack. He tried to be empathic but barely managed to be sympathetic telling me he believed me and then proceeding to say there NEVER is any faults or mistakes by the machines. He basically told me I was lying as I told him I had checked after scanning that each item had appeared on the handheld machine. The handheld scanners transfer your shop via a wireless connection to the checkout. Let me ask you, in your jobs or even privately, how many times a year do you download something that turns out corrupted, incomplete, download failed etc? And Jack is telling me their handheld machines always transfer the whole shop and i must have missed them? The way I was treated by staff and Jack in particular was absolutely appalling. Official complaint has gone in but it has left me feeling utterly upset, angry and frustrated at yet another 30-45 mins of my day wasted needlessly, the embarrassment, and yet more damaged items due to the rescan etc. I also feel, now that I know for sure I scanned everything today and still the system insisted i missed items, that the other times possibly also weren't my fault and feel even more angry for the waste of my time and upset caused. I will never set foot in this store again. Utter disgrace. Jack didn't even take any notes despite me saying I want to make an official complaint. He clearly didn't take me seriously and just wanted me to leave. Don't shop there, their staff are rude, uncaring and the company does not give a damn about the people making it rich. Shame on you Asda! Here's the proof that I did scan them all, so either the woman doing the rescan was at best incompetent or maybe their systems aren't infallible?! In the end I was overcharged!!! And had to go back in to get a refund. Waiting for my apology....
