Placed an order today and I had items missing I then contacted the shop as I ordered of their website and they said they was gonna send the item out.2 hours go by still no items so I called up again and he once again said he’ll send the items out even tho I have requested a refund. So hopefully I will get the money back but hasn’t been the first time we have received orders with items missing.

Too too much sugar in brownie and cake, seemed purposely done ordered four fried one slice each of two of them so much sugar I had to report to uber never had this before anywhere the food was half price desserts can see why now.

Customer service is very rude worker was a lady with glasses very rude to customer slammed the food on the tablets

I bought me and my dad a brownie and a fudge brownie sundae from Uber eats, the order came on time, everything’s was okay, my dads brownie was sickly but he said although it was overpriced for what it is, he enjoyed it. But then my fudge brownie sundae has no chocolate sauce and 5 peices of stale brownie. I basically had overpriced vanilla ice cream with stale lumps.

Website would not allow me to book delivery! So made arrangements to collect! Order got moved from one store to another! And was out for delivery for 90 mins! Called the store and the guy didn’t have a clue what was going on! Won’t be ordering again!

I’ve ordered for delivery through Uber and their desserts are so nice - a good selection to choose from! I personally love their brownie stick waffle and mojito.

I would have expected better but I guess I was wrong, Ordered, 1 Milkshake, Cookie dough and an Oreo Cake. Instead, they deliver 2 milkshakes and the cake, which would have cost me £1 more. They also came way later than expected. So, ended up having the wrong order, paying extra and waiting a long time for the order to come. I wouldn't recommend this. Edit: I had discussed with them and had gotten a replacement for the milkshakes as the ones I was originally given was horrendous, at least they were cooperative.

Worst place I have ever visited. The man whom I guessed was the owner was incredibly rude and had the poorest of customer service. I own a food place and I wouldn't dream of speaking to my customers this way. All I said was the mocktail is something I and my friend just can't drink. It's too syrupy, can I swap it for a tango ice blast please. He was incredibly rude for no reason and said it's not his problem I didn't enjoy it. Noone has ever complained..I'm a huge fan of mocktails and that was by far the worst one I've ever had. Anyway he refused to refund me and was so rude, I hurried out in disgust and will not be returning ever. They need staff with better customer service skills. Food came so late. I didn't complain 🙄

Easily one of the best cakes I've ever bought to eat. I generally find most cakes to be too sweet and can only eat a bit before it feels too sick, but these cakes are a perfect balance of sweet and not too sweet. Texture is amazing too and looks beautiful. The red velvet cake was my favourite I'd recommend that.

Rude staff, rang to chase my order which was late by 30min he started to swear because of my complaint. Will never order from here again. And will never recommend this place ever again. He actually said not to order again from them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 as if Leicester lacks of dessert places hahahahaha

The deserts are so nice cannot fault them, although the delivery drivers are disgusting, the two Asian boys driving a white Audi s3 should not be working here, there rude and caused a commotion at my house swearing and I have a 1 year old asleep upstairs. They probably get paid £5 an hour driving a s3, your wages probably get spent in fuel you dossers.

I ordered a dessert for my partners daughter at 7:30pm as i write this it still hasnt arrived ots now 9:52pm keep phoning to find out where the order is to be told its with the driver hes on his way. Its absolutely ridiculous waiting so long for a desert when my partners daughter aged 12 needs to go to bed for school. Im fuming with the service and would never recommend this company to anyone. I definitely will be not using them again!!!!!!!!

Ive ordered from here a few times - Icecream arrives as Icecream and Waffles hot. HOWEVER - the delivery time was put back almost an hour. If you cant get food to people in the stated time STOP TAKING MORE ORDERS dont be greedy. The Waffles were stone cold and the sauce coagulated The Sundae was a milkshake by the time I got it. Food dessimated. How long had the driver had it in his car? It couldnt have been a one drop job as its always usually fine. Was a mistake with payment, delivery driver went to my house over 60 times banging on my door climbing to see though windows and even stole items from my garden, manager accepted there had been a mistake but no refund was offered..nor was any action taken against the driver.lone females beware of these drivers,

Nice little place, smelled amazing when I walked in, even through my mask! We bought toasted sandwich & baguette meals, milkshakes and their waffles, for collection. All really nicely wrapped in pretty individual containers, and then into 2 of their large paper bags, separated by hot foods and chilled stuff. Great service, good food! And omg the Jaffa milkshake I had was amazing.

I order doorstep desserts casually. It is incredibly great. Great customer service! The dessert is really great and mind blowing! They once forgot my cake on the order. We rang them and they said they were incredibly sorry and when they returned it, they gave sweets to say they were sorry. They have kind workers who deliver and they are wonderful!

Shortest dessert place ever Ordered desserts and the desserts got sent to the wrong house and they couldn’t do anything about it and accused me of lying

Ordered Dessert was told would be here within hour & half. Waited given time, no show waited further minutes still no show. Called them - was told my dessert was left outside my house considering I have CCTV & can see everything that happens outside my house still checked BUT NOTHING. Was then told that the driver delivered to another house. Was then told they can resend again which means another hour wait on a weekday around 11pm.. advised to contact JustEat for money back which they credited me for the desserts asked Doorstep for my £4.50 delivery charge as they used this to deliver to neighbour they refused to give this back. However JustEat did the brave thing and credited me with £5. NEVER once had an issue with Doorstep & would never complain or write reviews however this time im shocked how much they attempted to lie down the phone when it could be simple apology and say they simply been busy and forgot and credit money back.

Good food slow service and quiet staff

I went with my family to Western boulevard shop. The staff was not friendly and when i ordered my waffle and cookie dough to eat in, they gave me in a foiled pack container inside their paper bag even though i was meant to eat in(so not in a proper plate with nice presentation) The presentation was horrible. The 2 waffle sticks which they charge same as a full waffle somewhere else, not cooked properly and no ice cream but worst was the presentation in a foil pack with maybe 1 chopped strawberry. Cookie dough was in a round silver pack container and it was not presented properly and tasteless thus brought disappoimtment. Staff too busy and terrible customer service not only me but seen others been served. First he said they accept card and all of a sudden he says the machine doesnt work. And litter bin full which made the visit unpleasant. The only positive was the milshake and the ice cream but milkshake took around 20 minutes.

They took the money for the order out of my bank and never sent the food then called me a liar ... i will never order from this place ever again. Plus I've jst found out its absolutely filthy in there. I've reported this place.

I genuinely enjoyed my experience at door step deserts, the staff are friendly and respectful the only issue is when the place becomes busy your order will be delayed.

Can’t fault our order, ordered around 3 o’clock in the afternoon and wanted delivery for 7 o’clock. The order came precisely on 7 o’clock which was great. Food came nice and warm which was great and our canned drinks came cold which was also great. Will definitely be ordering again!

Can’t fault out order, advised 1.5hrs for drop off and delivery was actually made in 30 minutes! Everything was great and the food was lovely!!

Absolutely shocking. Ordered a cookie dough came cold and all squished and sauce everywhere. Complained, another hour later they sent another one. Same issue. Absolutely fuming.

The best milkshakes in Leicester!

I ordered 3 waffles and 2 milkshakes. The order was delivered with only 2 waffles and the milkshakes, I called doorstep and they called me a liar, the person on the phone was extremely disrespectful, and when I asked to speak to management the phone was hung up on me. Do not order from here.

Absolutely the worse dessert parlour I have seen in my time the staff are so rude with no telephone manners food was over 1 hour late and the best excuse sorry we are busy I’m sorry but NO you had given me a time frame and it went an hour after that frame so it was disgraceful and got no real apology. Absolutely awful customer service! Was told could be delivered but would be another hour, on top of the hour already waited. As good in the warmer,so would be in there for 2 hours before it even got delivered asked for refund and refused refused was told would need to call back tomorrow!!

Pictures are decieving online..they have no customer service skills on the phone..and overcooked a plain croissant 🤦‍♂️. It was crispy and crumbled like a biscuit. When I called apparently the temp is regulated and i just have to deal with what I got 😶. First and last time I order from you.

STOP AND READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING Ordered three deserts from this Madras Road branch and honestly THIS WAS THE WORST MISTAKE. They sent me three items that were just horrible and stale. We tried the items and just looking at them made us realise that these were not made fresh. The cookie dough was cold and the syrup had just jammed up in top. The brownie was just stale. I called the manager and explained politely that we were unhappy with this order and offered for them to pick it up and look at it for themselves, they refused. I asked for a refund as they had not delivered items that were edible or up to standards and Tahid their manager just turned around and flatly refused. He argued with me continuously and was rude to a point were i honestly felt angry that as a customer i was being shoved aside even though it was their mistake.if i had gone to a restaurant i could have sent the order back but he didnt even offer that. There are so many bad reviews and we wanted to give them a chance but honestly do not bother and waste your money here. You wont be happy with what you get and your evening will be a disappointment. They are rude and dont really care about the customer. They would stupidly rather hold onto the small amount of money they made of this order and miss out on future business from me and my friends and family. What we asked for was a simple refund based on what they delivered which was not right. No more or less. We didnt even eat it in case the wanted it back. I am seriously disappointed by this horrible company, their service and their standards. Final note, dont bother eating here or ordering from here. They just want orders out quality and service can go to hell.

Ordered on just eat. However we moved a few months back. Once the confirmation came though we realised it was going to our old address. I called the restaurant to be told i need to call just eat. I asked if they had a number, to be put on hold and ignored. My partner then called. They updated the address but the asked if he could wait and was put on hold again to be ignored. I called back to check address had been updated and was told that its all my fault anyway. Yes it is i should of checked but pretty rude of him. We called just eat who said it was their (doorstep deeserts) responsibility to change the address as they use their own delivery drivers.it did turn up however as the driver couldnt find the address he wasnt happy and let me know this. This was meant to be for my step daughters bday very dissapointed. This could of been resolved in a few minutes. Instead it left me frustrated and with a melted sundae

Ordered at 10:30pm and came at 12:30 the next day midnight absolutely a joke of a business in a horrible location food was bang average for that wait time and defo recommend people not to order better off spending extra couple of quid on a more luxury dessert parlour

Omg what an amazing idea and fabulous experience, I had the raspberry coconut tart= raspberry jam ,slice of sponge with coconut on top served at school. Poured over the delicious custard provided transported me back to schooldays puddings...heaven

Waffle stick was cold ordered cookie dough did not taste right no apology at all from staff there repleced waffles sticks but not the cookie dough as there wanted to see it which i would have to take it off my little one and let him cry. Firstly, I want to say I’ve ordered from this place before and their desserts have never been a problem. Their desserts are actually quite tasty.

Ordered dessert for home delivery at 9pm didn't get my order until an hour and half later.

Found this place on Just Eat. Ordered what we wanted, arrived on time, everything was very nice, would order again

myself and a group of friends ordered over £50 worth of desserts. Doorstep desserts changed our order and gave us ice blasts in place of 3 desserts - ice blasts were 1/4 of the price. Despite this; doorstop desserts thought that this was acceptable and would not change the order to equal value desserts and preceded to take the money out of the bank. When contacted, we were told by the owner that we had to get on with it. absolutely appalling - I would not recommend this company at all. poor service and horrendous attitude.

Would have given this place 4 stars but when you call the girl that answers, she has no customer service experience or is even the slightest bit concerned in speaking politely. Real dissapoinment. Can't express how rude she is, it is shocking.

I have ordered tonight. First off it took two hours for our food to get to us at not fault of the delivery driver. Second off the food was uncooked and cold. Rang and spoken to the manager at first refused refund then told me he would bring my refund somepoint tomorrow. If it wasn't for the saving grace of the delivery driver I wouldn't have gotten my money back, he was polite had to apologise on behalf of his boss and managed to get me a full refund

Placed an order for 3 desserts. When the order finally showed up just under 2 hours later it was wrong. Called them up hoping they would rectify it- he offered me 10% off my next order (probably a good time to mention this deal is ALWAYS available online). Customer service is absolutely appalling, so if you’re lucky enough to receive your dessert within two hours, don’t hold your breath that it’ll resemble your order.

After 3 hours of waiting, half my guests had left and the desserts that arrived were not even the right ones. We had 3 items missing, waffle without any cream/ice cream and a straw for my milkshake that is meant for a drink not a thick shake and damaged containers.

Had a party and made serious mistake of ordering dessert from these people. Order was not delivered within the hour specified. Upon complaint were told would be delivered WHEN COMING OUR WAY 😱😱😱 kinda defeating the whole purpose of home delivery!!!!

This place forgot our order and also my cookie dough came cold. When asked the waiter he dipped his finger on the cookie and then went on to say this is fresh. Appalled at this level of service. Dessert is average apart from the MovenPick ice creams.

We ordered about 7 waffles and a few ice creams via uber eats. They arrived well on time and were in good shape, i expected it to be melting! It was well presented, good taste however a little on the pricy side.

*just eat Ordered stick waffles, milkshakes, ice blasts and nachos. We must admit everything was good except the nachos they were burnt and the cheese was very dense on top honestly recommend to leave cold grated cheese so we can slam it under the grill and melt it to our liking.

Ordered dessert at 10pm, got a call from them an hour later to say there was a fault with the system and order did not go through, was then told it would still take another hour for the deserts to arrive, I explained this was not good enough as we had kids waiting and it was already 11pm, the person on the phone advised the best he can do is push it to about 45 mins, I said that would be fine as long as he was willing to apply a discount due to the error on their part, he refused to do this as there was already a discount which was on the order, because I ordered online and used a discount code (which they advertise on their own website) he then said there was nobody available to apply a discount, considering I have spent alot of money with them in the past I am very disappointed about the way he point blank refused to try and even come to some sort of arrangement. Won't be spending my money there anymore!

We ordered three deserts at 8pm costing £17.00. We were advised that they would be here by 8.45pm They arrived at 9:50Pm! They arrived cold, tasteless and bland as they had clearly been in the car too long. When they were delivered, a member of staff delivered these at the door, whilst the ‘driver’ remained in the car. The driver then drove off laughing leaving the member of staff stood on our doorstep running after him. I don’t condone people having a laugh but I do expect professionalism when I’ve paid quite a lot of money for deserts which have turned up nearly two hours after ordering them to realise they were probably late because the delivery people were messing about during their whole journey. Genuinely stay away. The deserts got binned. Disgusting. No apology when calling up. They refused to refund and cancel the order after 1.5 hours of waiting for the order. I genuinely don’t understand the management of this company.

*Ordered for delivery via Just Eat* Whilst the delivery took a while (over an hour on a Sunday evening), the desserts arrived well presented and at the right temperature (warm cookie dough and cold milkshake). I have had better milkshakes - this wasn't as think as I like them - although this was still good and a decent price (3 same flavoured shakes for £10). The Oreo cookie dough was great, and paired well with the vanilla ice cream provided. The ready made combo went well together, and the option to 'DIY' your own cookie dough combo is very good. Menu is extensive, so you will find something you want.

I've ordered 3 times in a row, they delivered to me in Syston on time every time. Love the cornflake tart and custard. Always get my order right and everything I've ordered so far has been great. Thank you so much we have become regulars. The negative reviews did put me off at first but since I started ordering I have no complaints. I've had a wonderful experience so far. Bruhh my dessert took forever to come as if it was coming from China I had guest over from Maldives and they had to leave without dessert due to the time it took, please get more drivers or sort this please. Ice cream tasted of nothing, brownie just had a sugary taste without even a hint of chocolate and their waffles were dry. Do not waste your time and money.
