I went to the Leicester restaurant for a bottomless brunch with my friends for our birthdays and it was the best bottomless I’ve had! We were served promptly and often, the drinks and food were great and our server Yo was amazing!

Been today for the new Bottomless Tapas menu, it was delicious, every dish, value for money is absolutely fantastic. We decided to opt to add the bottomless drinks as well, husband's birthday, and have to say we weren't disappointed there either. (£20ea food, £20ea drinks) Jordan & Josh were the guys who looked after us and they were both great, really polite, friendly and professional. Would most definitely recommend a visit.

Food, service and atmosphere were OK. Food came super quick and staff were friendly enough. Although I am glad we had a discount offer on the food, else I don't think it would have been good value for money I'm afraid.

Updated review from a year ago. Rea is manager and it's running much better. Staff tend to customers and on hand to offer drinks and take orders for food. The food was tasty and came in no time at all. We visited on bank holiday Monday so not as busy which was nice Would recommend for sure

Amazing service from Caitlin. Although the change of menu was a little disappointing. Don’t know why they removed 2for1 all day and taken out some of the drinks from the menu. The reason I loved going here was the drinks lol. But the food is still great.

Came here with family and friends for a birthday. We had an amazing couple of hours at the bottomless brunch. The lady that's was serving us was called Rhia, she is a absolute credit to Las Iguaunas she couldn't of done more, she made our time there fantastic. The food was nice, not much of a selection but it was the bottomless brunch menu. You 100% get more than you pay for in drinks. The restaurant itself was cosy and comfortable and very clean. Would 100% recommend this place :)

Although I can only answer one of the reasons above there are several reasons I would recommend you, service was fab food and drinks were fab , we already planning another visit soon

Excellent service and friendly staff, drinks were prepared quickly and staff continued to check when we wanted the next round. We did a bottomless brunch and would definitely come back another time. Found it was very good value for money and a nice calm atmosphere in the restaurant.

My husband and I visited Las Iguanas in Leicester around 3 PM on a Friday afternoon, drawn in by signage outside advertising the lunchtime deal. However, when we were seated, we were given the full-price menu and had to specifically ask for the lunchtime menu ourselves. Our server seemed unsure and unaware of whether the lunchtime deal was even available, which was surprising considering it was clearly being advertised outside. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and asked if we had a reservation. We didn’t, but as the restaurant was completely empty at the time, we were invited to sit wherever we liked and chose a table by the window. A short while later, a few parties arrived for bottomless brunch. When our server returned to take our drinks order, we opted for two "Day of the Dead" cocktails, which were part of a two-for-one offer. When bringing them over, he commented that the manager wasn’t in and that he now had to make a lot of cocktails for the brunch tables. While probably meant to be lighthearted, the sighing and tone made it feel unprofessional and gave off the impression that he was overwhelmed, which made us feel a little awkward. The food arrived quickly, which was a positive, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet the standard we’ve come to expect from Las Iguanas. We’ve visited other branches in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, and Sheffield where the food has always been vibrant, fresh, and full of flavour. On this occasion, however, the food was quite underwhelming and lacked that usual flair—it honestly felt more like something you’d get at Wetherspoons, which was disappointing for a restaurant that normally delivers so much more. While we were waiting, we also overheard the same waiter having a loud personal phone conversation at the bar. He was discussing a night out and someone having to be taken home drunk. It was clearly a private conversation and felt inappropriate in a professional setting, making us feel uncomfortable during our meal. When it came time to pay, the card machine at our table wasn’t working, so my husband was asked to go to the bar to settle the bill. We didn’t mind this, as technical issues happen and it wasn’t the server’s fault. However, while at the bar, he overheard the waiter joking with two women having bottomless brunch, saying, “Since the manager’s not here, do you want a good piña colada or a shit piña colada?” When they asked what the difference was, he replied, “A good one is stronger.” This added yet another layer to the ongoing sense of unprofessionalism and made my husband feel even more uncomfortable. In summary, although the service started off friendly and the food was served quickly, the overall experience lacked the quality, consistency, and professionalism we’ve come to expect from Las Iguanas. I would seriously question whether I’d return to this particular Leicester location in the near future, especially when other branches continue to offer a far more enjoyable and polished experience.

Myself and my friend had a bottomless Tapas and drinks brunch which was so good!! The food was so tasty and the drinks were beautiful! Our servers Caitlin and Jordan were great they made sure our food was topped up and that we had fresh drinks constantly throughout the brunch, they were lovely to talk to and were just generally really nice people. I would totally recommend having a brunch here if you want great food and gorgeous cocktails 🤍x

Came here with a group of friends out on a birthday for bottomless brunch. Full service which was really good as drinks were topped up often. We definitely got our monies worth of cocktails. Because there were a few if us we had jugs snd and think we pretty much went through the full list of cocktails you can have. Food was nice enough but nothing to flash which is expected on a bottomless deal. Staff was friendly and checked up on us often. Will come here again with friends.

I had previously been to Las Iguanas on a Wednesday and it was great. Tonight (a Saturday evening) I invited new friends to experience the bottomless brunch. After waiting 15 minutes from our booking time to be sat at a table, 20 minutes later our first drink arrived. We had 4 cocktails in 1 hour 20 mins of a 'bottomless brunch'. The servers themselves were lovely, however the service from the bar was shocking. I was embarrassed to have recommended it. After complaining to the staff along with multiple tables 1hour 30 mins in, we recieved fast service for the last 20 mins. This in itself does not help the lack of effort shown from the manager who was constantly bringing out drinks and food to the table opposite us who were paying individually for the products. I was appalled by the service, no resolution and discount for any of the poor experience given and i will not be returning- neither will my friends. Regardless of the time or day, if a service is offered, a service should be provided correctly. The first time I went was a Wednesday and we drank 26 cocktails between two of us at bottomless brunch. Tonight we drank 21 between the Three of us. The difference was clear. The automated service charge was very quickly taken off the bill.

I was told by the mixed race ginger guy, some manager, that they got rid of the xin xim from the menu. So the best on the menu? Because they wanted a peanut free kitchen lol okay. Got too expensive anyway, 1 guy behind the bar and 1 stressed out guy on the floor. Used to be my favourite. Management nowadays are a joke.

We were here with group of 6 people without reservation and these team had excellent hospitality on top of that we are vegetarians and they make sure we get perfect evening out I would definitely this place.. All thanks to Josh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#storytime I had a very poor experience again at Las iguanas Leicester on Monday 19th. Arrived, sat down, but not reduced. They was no sorry from the waitress . We were also by the till & what looked like a more senior staff member no one said anything to make us want to stay I had to ask the waitress to give me min whilst we look at the menu again. It was actually one of the worst experiences I have had from a customer service point of view & the 2nd time this year Las iguanas Leicester has provided such bad service. Something has changed but I cannot see a reason to go back. They did not care. Las iguanas used to be the only place that had that Latin style with cocktails I recommend Sonrisa delicious Argentinian food cocktails are unreal well worth the price. The food is fresh & service is 10/10. We ended up at the disterilly where they served a prawn & calamari duo starter for £4 & cocktails 241. Feedback we called & booked a table in advance ask if its a special occasion. Even when we arrive ask if its a special occasion. Once we arrive let people know what is not available. Do not allow us to make a big drinks order when chef should know what ingredients he has. I am so disappointed by my visit which is why I am give it such a low score

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Johannes (Yo), and I couldn’t be more impressed with his professionalism and kindness. From start to finish, he was incredibly attentive, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly. His friendly demeanor made the experience even better, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about providing excellent service. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and personable—Johannes is truly a credit to the team! Highly recommended.

This was the best bottomless brunch I've ever had. Charley our server was very attentive and always ensured that we had a drink. The drinks and food were both amazing and I can't fault any of it at all. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

Very poor. The service is very slow they more than once tried to bring up the wrong food or drinks to the table and the was no apology for there mistake. The food was awful bland and flavourless. With a salad on the side that was way to old to still be on a plate. And when I sent it back there was not apology or real ask for the reason why! Also then the meal still being on the bill. The staff are just unprofessional in the way they talk to customers. Awful AVOID

Enjoyed the meal. Gluten and Lactose intolerant catered for. Had extra salsa instead of sour cream due to intolerance. Beetroot burger was blend and required some additional sauce. Really good service from everyone and special attendance due to intolerance.

The bottomless brunch in Leicester is amazing the waiter Hannah is Brilliant, she definitely deserves a pay raise so does Serena the bar tender definitely recommend aga the manager is also wicked

Josh gave us the most genuine and upmost effort and we really both appreciate the service and attention that he gave us. If anything he went above and beyond to meet mine my missus food requirements and more. So josh you are top knot mate!

Very tasty food and very nice staff!

I have been 3 times now. One for bottomless brunch, one for the bottomless tapas and this time for a lunch date with my daughter. Each time has been a good experience overall. Was a little slow on service for the bottomless tapas and mixed up the order once but was extremely busy. On the most recent visit my Daughter enjoyed the food so much she has asked to come back for the tapas menu so she can try more of the food on offer. Her favourite was the calamari and piri piri and honey chicken wings. Looking forward to our next visit.

Me and my wife visited here Feb 14th and wow it’s gone downhill. The waitress was nice and helpful, but the food came out lukewarm and frankly there was nothing special about it. Thankfully I downloaded the app and got a £10 off voucher otherwise it would have been a horrendously overpriced night out. Safe to say, I wouldn’t visit here again and will never recommend it. Lukewarm food, light out in the ladies toilet and a rat trap in the corridor perhaps says everything. The last time I visited here (10+ years ago it was outstanding) so It’s a real shame.

Absolutely fabulous meal. Best Margarita ever, perfectly balanced! The wonderful waitress also gave me a few mini pots of their delicious Dulce de leche sauce for my children to dip their homemade churros in. Will definitely be back.

Bottomless brunch. The food was delicious. The waitress was very attentive. She made sure we got our money's worth. Good cocktails selection. Varied strength. Well and swiftly prepared.

The math wasn't matching in this place😂 So my friends had a reservation for 2 tapas booked about a week in advance. I talked along with them and so my friends called in to ask if they can accommodate three people. We got through to the robot and it didn't understand a question and our existing reservation was canceled. We called back again and got through the restaurant. It about 10 minutes later and the manager said they could do the two tapas but we're not sure if they could accommodate another person. We got to the restaurant and gave the name. They had a reservation for my friends for three people under a la carte. So at this point they had a reservation for two tapas plus three Al a carte. So we asked them if they could do the original to tapas reservation and do one a la carte. Somehow that became a big issue and the management was not happy. There was a lot of back and forth and we were trying to find middle ground when another customer started shouting at us to get a move on and things just escalated from there. We did and will not be going back 😃

We were really looking forward to go on our date night. We waited 45 minutes to get our drinks and the porn star martini came with out the Prosecco. The meal came out just over an hour and 15. Really disappointing. No squid and calamari in the tapas. The main, taste of Mexico had no beef in the chili and the wrap was stiff and crusty. The rice was bland. We spoke to the manager and had the drinks and meal on the house. Although we didn’t eat anything anyway. Shame because we were really hungry. Now nearly two hours later we’re getting KFC

Absolutely shocking!!! Please don't go here waited a hour for a drink and 15 minutes outside. Quite honestly one of the worse places I have ever been out to eat. Leicester.

Went for £15 bottomless tapas. Slow service as we were there for over 3 hours but got 16 dishes between the 3 of us. Vegan nachos and churros are good but rest of the vegan options are lacking, especially the cold squash and bean tacos. Wouldn’t go back for food again

absolutely appalling service. Had a booking for 9pm for tapas and was shown to our seats. When waiting in the queue, we had people walking out saying “its not worth it” but thought we would try it anyway. Again, booking was at 9pm it came to 9:30pm and no one even came over to us to even ask for drinks. We stood up and left as we are tired, hungry and disappointed.

Abysmal service and attitude, waited 20 minutes outside then 30 minutes inside. No orders, no menus, not even an acknowledgement of the delay. Incredibly disappointed, ended up just leaving as did many others.

Decided to try their January offer, unlimited tapas for £15. Staff were really friendly, service was really good. Between the 2 of us we had 9 plates of tapas (2 of which included churros for dessert). It was fun to try all the different dishes which were surprisingly filling.

Went with my son for a night out yesterday .Arrived at around 6:30pm ,wait 30 min ,no one come to get the order ,not till I ask them to take the order .Me and my son just sat there for an hour without even get our drink .But the 3rd table come after us get the drink before us .We just sit there till 8:15pm without any drink or food being serve . When we left the restaurant without any food and drink then a waitress said sorry to us ,but I think is no point to said that . That is the worst experience I had for a night out .Compare the restaurant in Meadowhall ,the one in Leicester even don't deserved for a star .

I am appalled by Las Iguanas. We went yesterday as a group of 3 to leicester las iguanas. We got the 2 for 1 on cocktails and bottomless tapas for £15 for 90 mins Firstly the lady seating us was letting everyone else go through then took us last when we was waiting in the line. They were understaffed and a lot of customers and our waitress was in 3 areas. So was hard to order and get any service. The food was meh. I wouldn't order anything ever again. Bland as shit and all deep fried no flavour.. The service was terrible. Had to wait 40 mins for 1 round. 2nd round came 30 mins. Then after that 30 mins again then 15 mins. Really really bad service. We got there for 7:10pm and left at like 10 that's how long they took. On top of that me and my friend felt really funny and had to go to the toilets. We ended up pucking up everything and when paying for the bill we told the server . All she said was okay. Okay. No apology or getting the manager. She just carried on like that was normal.. Overall do not go there. Was a waste of time and money. Never going again. Has put me off going out for food for while now.. thanks !

DO NOT COME HERE! The service was terrible and we got served once in an hour and a half for the bottomless tapas, not worth it at all! They got our orders wrong and a lot of the menu was out of stock. Awful experience!
