What a find! Our cycling group called in at Donna’s for a quick beer before catching the train back to Whitstable, and ended up staying for three (beers) plus one of the best pizzas I’ve genuinely ever had; hot, home made, and absolutely delicious. Donna made us feel very welcome as we sat in the sun watching the world go by from the covered roadside terrace, and but for the fact that some of us had to get back I am sure we’d have managed to sink another one or two of the very quaffable session beers on offer. It probably goes without saying that Donna’s Ale House is highly recommended and all of our group agreed that we’d definitively be paying a return visit the next time we found ourselves in the area.

Excellent real ale and are complying with the social distancing rules and regulations. Friendly atmosphere. 6/12/23 this place has matured like good wine with age. Food excellent good quality and decent portions. Well worth a visit

Cracking little pub with a good range of cask ales, ciders, and gins and a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the paninis too!

I've always had a great night here. All the food is prepared and made fresh and there is always plenty of it. James and Donna are fantastic hosts and spend time making you feel welcome. There's an amazing selection of local ales and ciders, funky flavoured gins, rums and plenty of whisky and vodka too. Keep an eye out for live music because that's fantastic too!

Brilliant place - good beer, good gin, good location, good vibe. The only complaint I have is that it could be bigger. But hey, the wife always says size is less important than what you do with the thing, and she knows EVERYTHING.

Best little pub in town. With a warm friendly atmosphere and a really lovely family owning it. They do not sell draught lager which keeps the choice of customers to a favourable choosing. They do a small but fantastic choice of food. I have been drinking there for 3 years and never even seen or heard raised voices never mind violence. 10/10

Small, cozy, friendly micro-pub in Sittingbourne High Street. Donna makes amazing sharing platters while James pours the drinks. Usually three or four well kept ales, and more gins than you could shake a stick at! All the gins are served with the appropriate mixer and garnish. It's a lovely place, if you're in the area it's worth taking the time to drop in.

Visited the 3 micropubs in Sittingbourne and this is the best, no music, tv etc. Good selection of beer and cider.

This is by far the best place for real ale, none of this craft beer stuff. There is a great selection and they are always changing. You will only find Kentish ale but that doesn't limit the selection as there are tons out there. They like to promote the smaller breweries. If you like gin then this establishment has it all. Huge selection and a great price. We have been to other pubs in the town and the gin is no where near the quality here. Donna knows her stuff so if you have a question regarding the drinks she will know. Yes it's a small place and on Friday and Saturday night it is crampt and can be a little load but it is so friendly and very sociable, but that says it all. If it was quiet on those evenings then you probably wouldn't want try the place. I can't forget the cider range. I don't drink it personally so can't comment on the quality, but i'm sure it'll be good. You have a choice of the chilled "popular" bottled ciders or there are boxed ciders under the stairs so again, another good selection. There is also a good selection of wine available There is not a large selection of lagers but that is not the point of this place. They do have some bottled lager but nothing on tap so they do cater for the lager drinkers. Just don't be disappointed because there is not a lot on offer. It is called and Ale House for a reason . This review is from the point of a real ale drinker so it rates very highly in my view because it ticks all the boxes. I have been coming here since it opened and it is my first choice place when I walk into town. If you are looking for a place to have a drink on you own or with your friends and you love your ale or gin then Donna's Ale House is the place for you.

SURPRISINGLY nice pub for Sittingbourne! Friendly, nicely decorated, good selection of beer, gin menu (because it's 2018, so of course there's a gin menu), and small selection of spirits, wines, etc. No music as per micropub standards. I also appreciated that there were coat hooks at every table!
