Donde in Lewisham

We were bored with Indian and Chinese takeaway and had always fancied giving Donde a try.We loved the personal nature of the owner who dealt with out order. It was quick, kind and we even got a great deal with a bottle of wine thrown in.The food had great variety, including favourites like albondigas and chorizo.If you are veggie or vegan there is a good range and for an all round clean takeaway, this is a decent local bet.

Covid no es excusa para la comida pésima, los muebles baratos, un concepto que no funciona y el personal estresado por atender a muy pocas personas. Se trata de una hamburguesería americana que también sirve tapas. Las tapas se sirven en recipientes de plástico para microondas y, sorprendentemente para una comida en microondas, tardan años en servirse. Los calamares estaban secos, como cartón, las carrilleras de cerdo se servían en una especie de salsa de curry y las berenjenas eran una masa grasosa, cocida en microondas, con queso y espesa. La mesa tiene una sensación pegajosa que aparentemente no es suciedad. No probé las hamburguesas, pero si lo que buscas son tapas, evita.

Hemos estado esperando que este lugar vuelva a abrir porque el menú se ve increíble y nos acabamos de mudar al área. No pudimos decidir qué comer, así que la encantadora señora detrás de la caja nos recomendó probar la hamburguesa de pollo con suero de leche. Cuando digo que esta hamburguesa estaba sabrosa y deliciosa mmmmm encurtidos, tomates, cebollas rojas! Tomamos un batido de plátano que sabía muy fresco y disfrutamos de churros con helado de chocolate de camino a casa. No solo volveremos para el desayuno porque la comida estaba deliciosa, el servicio que recibimos fue súper amable y las chicas realmente nos hicieron sentir atendidos. Tienen opciones veganas y vegetarianas, algo para todos, ¡un lugar realmente fantástico!

Obviamente, ordenamos la entrega en estos tiempos. Para nuestro aniversario, nada menos. Mala idea. Comida fría como una piedra, todo demasiado aceitoso. La "masa madre" parecía pan integral cortado. Las patatas comestibles pero aceitosas y frías. Todo se veía tan horrible. Churros grasientos y helados con salsa de chocolate ridículamente fina. Lo único que pude soportar fueron las croquetas y no estaban más que frías. Todo fue arrojado a la lluvia afuera de la puerta de nuestro apartamento sin timbre, aunque lo solicitamos. Saludos por eso. A través de deliveroo. Nunca más.

Básico es ser amable con este restaurante. Éramos las únicas personas en el restaurante un sábado por la tarde y lo mejor que comimos fueron los pimientos de padron. El resto fue un rango de decepcionante a no comestible. Se olvidaron de un plato (no como si estuvieran ocupados) y el resto fue todo menos fresco. El lado manchego consistía en 3 piezas en rodajas finas y unas pocas uvas, y todo lo que estaba caliente carecía de sabor y condimento. Las mejillas de cerdo eran asquerosas y el puré de remolacha parecía carne cruda cuando llegó a la mesa. La textura de la salsa era granulada y el sabor era diferente a todo lo que he comido o deseo volver a comer. El inodoro no se había limpiado en más de una semana al menos con manchas y pelos en el lavabo y tienen una tapa redonda en un inodoro cuadrado que no es higiénico. Evitar

¡Aparecieron y han lanzado un nuevo menú que es para morirse! !Teníamos 2 de las hamburguesas españolas y tenían un sabor increíble y muy barato, es un giro maravilloso en el lado español, ¡hemos reservado para volver a entrar el sábado!Sigue así Donde! !

Reservamos para el almuerzo por la tarde para una docena más con menos de 24 horas de antelación. Creo que pueden haber abierto un poco temprano solo para nosotros. Con los pies en la tierra complaciente y feliz de hacer ajustes. Tuvimos un grupo doble de tapas que ofrecían varias botellas de cava, cuatro jarras grandes de sangría y mucho más. Proporcionado de forma rápida y eficiente. Un muy buen momento. Gracias.

Please avoid this place at all costs. The staff are very rude and have a severe attitude problem. When I was there the waiter also had a severe body odour problem which was really off putting. The food was what I would describe as starters and very expensive main prices. I tried several dishes all were poorly presented, tasteless and mostly inedible. The waiter didn't care, the manager was not better and several other customers were equally dis-satisfied. Avoid at all costs, really!!!!!

Este lugar es asombroso. La comida es deliciosa y muy buena relación calidad-precio. La camarera era muy encantadora y nos recomendó un vino increíble que todos nos encantó. Un gran lugar para cenar o simplemente bebidas y aperitivos. Volveré Una joya local que estoy tan contenta de haber encontrado!

La gerencia nunca nos había tratado tan mal y, como habituales, nos mostraron una mesa para nosotros dos y nuestro pequeño perro. Cuatro personas entran después de que nos muestran nuestra mesa y nos piden que la dejemos. ¡Éramos asiduos y así es como nos tratas! Nunca más

Service is so lovely- staff are really friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is good too. I would definitely recommend

I used to go to this restaurant quite regularly and really liked it. I hadn’t been for nearly two years and now I won’t go back. It used to be quite good value tasty food. It’s now an unbelievable rip off for mediocre food. For example it costs £7.50 for 4 small prawns which come on a saucer. It costs £7.50 for about 7 bits of calamari which come on a plate on top of a screwed up bit of greaseproof paper (to try and make it look like more food). A small slice of Spanish omelette is nearly £5. The food quality is nothing special at all but you are charged prices that you’d expect to pay in a very reputable central London restaurant. It’s not surprising that this place was so quiet while the pizza place across the road was packed.

We passed by and stopped in to enjoy a couple of delicious tapas dishes. Try the patatas bravas! Friendly staff. They do a great beer from Barcelona too.

Come on chef. Have you been to Spain? Food was really poor, tasteless. Disappointed and won’t be going back again unless it improves and we probably won’t be the only ones.

Una vez que se limpiaron los platos, el "camarero" apareció al azar y colocó algunos tapetes de cerveza debajo de la mesa, para evitar que se tambalearan, lo cual fue agradable. . . pero él ignoró completamente mi vaso vacío (y la botella vacía). . . luego nos dejaron por más de 30 minutos sin ninguna oferta de café o postre o más alcohol. . . Solo nosotros y una mesa despejada. . . . Gritó a los otros invitados desde el bar para verificar si estaban listos para ordenar. . . Lo que distraía por decir lo menos. . Creo que Donde es genial. Es un bar bastante relajado y cómodo. Tiene tapas como complemento a tomar una copa y charlar. No es un lugar con estrellas Michelin, sino un local agradable. Hace precisamente lo que se propone.

Reservado para 9 adultos 1 niño a la 1 pm. Vacío cuando llegamos, el camarero tomó nuestros pedidos de bebidas, no mencionó la hora feliz antes de las 7 pm copa gratis cuando pedimos vino o sangría, aunque 1 de nosotros pedimos una copa de vino. Las bebidas llegaron después de unos 15 minutos. Luego esperamos unos 30 minutos mientras que otras parejas vinieron y ordenaron. Como no pudimos ver la zona del bar y el camarero nunca se acercó a nosotros en todo este tiempo, tuve que levantarme para preguntar al camarero que estaba sentado enviando mensajes de texto si podíamos pedir. Tomó nuestro pedido grande, el pan llegó después de 10 minutos, y el resto en dribs y monturas durante los siguientes 15 minutos. Croquetas de jamón 4 @ 4. 80 puré principalmente, 1 rodaja de tortilla española 4. 80, 4 albóndigas 4, 80 otros platos alrededor del mismo precio o más y porciones bastante pequeñas, el mejor plato fue el pollo de suero de leche. Luego pedimos el postre 2 lattes aparecieron como si solo la leche tuviera que pedir tragos de café para agregarles. Una pequeña porción de pastel de fondant de chocolate, los churros estaban bastante bien. No sé cuál fue la factura total, ya que 1 de nuestra familia pagó todo, pero realmente no valía lo que pagaba, el servicio era muy pobre, especialmente porque era un momento de tranquilidad, la comida era solo promedio y porciones pequeñas. Todos pensamos que sería mucho mejor después de leer críticas tan definitivamente decepcionadas: - (

Really nice restaurant...I love the fact they do tapas as we can try different things accompanied with a delicious Sangria ...The Location is perfect as it is around the corner of Honor oak overground Station.

Two of us ate six tapas plates at lunchtime today and we left full and happy. The prices are reasonable and the service friendly. Looking forward to our next visit, cheers guys.

Fui con cuatro cuatro amigos que estaban entusiasmados con Donde pero todos salimos un poco decepcionados. En general, no estaba mal, pero pensé que el servicio era un poco aburrido y todo parecía un poco demasiado relajado. Un par de cosas molestas: no tenían un tónico estándar para un G & T directo, la selección de cerveza de barril era limitada, el personal se mantenía despierto, las bebidas llegaban a 10 minutos de diferencia y los "Cerveza artesanal termina" no estaban disponibles. .

Donde siempre fue un firme favorito como residente local. Estaba muy molesto cuando se cerró. Pero no temas, Donde está de vuelta, y mejor de lo que era antes. La comida es deliciosa, fresca, sabrosa y se sirve con prontitud.

No complaints, no whinging, no moaning unlike other reviews .......... excellent food, service, wine, value and charming staff!!!!! So good we went two nights running! Love this place!

I visited with my daughter and all I can is we had a very pleasant evening. If I had had read the recent reviews first then I doubt I would have gone. We will be going back!!

Me sorprendió en el sabor de la comida, muy auténtico y sentimos que estamos en nativos de España. El chef estaba muy buena y necesita buena apreciación. Los precios son razonables, que dice el recibo que nuestro servidor es Jason, pero estoy seguro de que él no es. Él es un hombre de edad media española. Él es muy atento a los clientes, teniendo en cuenta su carrera el restaurante en su propio, aparte del dueño de tomar el dinero y atendiendo el bar.

Lo oyó el propietario/gerente llamada una camarera pobre un nombre tipo hembra perro sweary. Todo porque ella no podía trabajar todo el turno de sendero, ya que ella tenía no remunerado para estar en otro sitio después de hacer transpirar 3 horas gratis. Él esperaba que ella a trabajar toda la noche para nada, ni siquiera para una consejos. No volveremos. Esclavo del trabajo. no me sorprende el personal siempre nueva.

Leer las críticas de tripadvisor y pensé, hum ho, vamos a probarlo. No nos recibieron en todo al entrar en el restaurante, así que decidí sentarme. Visité hace tres meses por primera vez y me pareció normal. Decidimos darle otra oportunidad y me pareció que había mejorado mucho. Fuimos a cenar el viernes por la noche y aunque no completamente lleno, aún había un buen ambiente. Teníamos seis platos del menú de tapas y disfrutamos de todos ellos, tenían sin duda mejorado en ellos desde la última vez. Nos pareció que el chorizo en una miel a ser nuestro favorito, sin duda lo recomendaría. El servicio fue rápido y muy amable, no podía pedir más. El precio promedio por plato de tapas era 5 libras y no había que probamos que no me gustó. La cuenta fue de 39 libras para dos y que era para 6 Tapas, 2 bebidas y un postre (estábamos en dryanuary así fue maquetas colas! )

Laid back atmosphere ideal for enjoying a glass of wine or beer with friends. Great for watching the world go by. Great honey glazed chorizo tapas.

We've been to Donde several times in the last few months and it has been consistently excellent. Fantastic selection of delicious tapas, great wine, fab service. Fully recommended and great value.

Really delicious food, friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. We ordered a few dishes each...truth be told I could have eaten the whole lot myself and that's not because it's too small, just that I'm greedy! All the food came out at once and it was all very tasty. The pork cheeks were especially delicious!Highly recommend

Though I enjoyed the quality of the food, this place was just too busy and noisy for my liking. Good venue for 20-30yr old professionals. A little bit too pretentious for me.

It is a real shame as the food here is lovely and they do wine in a carafe which is nice to see but the decor and ambiance is lacking. The chairs are so uncomfortable to sit on and ugly to look at the colors don't blend well and it almost feels like they have decorated it using odd bits of old garden furniture. There are some benches to sit on but they are wooden and very high from the ground so the chairs again are not comfortable. The only time I will go back is for a quick after work drink and only if the chairs outside are available to sit on. I think this place is best suited for families not for anyone wanting to do a special occasion or jolly good meal out with friends. its just not a place you can sit in for more than 45 minutes comfortably.

Tried place for brunch on Sunday so couldn't complain nearly empty at 12noon.Brunch menu good. Large portions and didn't need other tapas. Nothing amazing but decent enough. Patatas Bravas OK and chorizo decent.Been since in evening for a drink and very lively with some decent Spanish and craft beers

I've recently been there twice and I haven't been disappointed with the tapas but the service could be much better.I'll try for lunch but for a night out on a Saturday never again! Good food, good quality just improvement with the service.

Een goed restaurant met een uitstekende keus in tapas . Personeel zeer vriendelijk en attent. Sfeer had iets meer spaans gemogen maar bij het eten voel je je toch wel een beetje in spanje.

The wife and I visited Donde for Sunday lunch a short while ago.We have used this place for Tapas on and off for the last 5 years but haven’t been for probably 18 months before this most recent visit. On previous visits the food has always been good coupled with quick but intrusive service, this visit was no different.We took on the lunch time special of 3 dishes for £10.00, ordering 7 different dishes. Each of them were excellent and after working our way through we were happily full. On arrival at 1.30pm it was fairly empty but was extremely busy by 2pm. There’s now several good eating options in the Honor Oak area with Donde being one of them, the service is good & the food is very good & inexpensive.Visit now for good honest Tapas.

Been coming here since it opened and never had anything other than great food. When I read the negative views they make me feel sceptical to their accuracy as their other reviews (low in number) don't add up. Food is excellent and great variety menu changes and has regular new things to try. Manager is friendly and keen to try new things on the menu.They're also opening another branch at Box Park Croydon. Can't wait for my next visit.

Amazing selection of dishes including medium-rare pork, which was a first for me and delicious. Reasonable prices too.

Been here several times and walked away disappointed today. Food portions have since reduced in size, food prices have increased in price. Food was tasty and nice however don't think I would go back again. And would certainly think twice on recommendations. Food 6/10Service 4/10Price 3/10Service wasn't really good. Had to prompt the waiter for service.Tables were not prepared so lacked cutlery and napkins. The menu had also changed and seemed to have less food option. Must be a change in management. This used to be a lovely little place to visit.Hopefully they will improve.

We have been to this restaurant a dozen times or more. It has a remarkable wine list for a local restaurant. It is warm and friendly with excellent service. It's as near to a continental bar as you can expect to find in London. Brilliant.

Fabulous service, staff are lovely. Food is good. Be careful with before 7pm 3 tapas for £10 menu, you need to request a separate menu as if you order from the a la carte they will charge you full price for each dish, that said prices are very reasonable. Good house wine :)

Brief visit for some afternoon tapas. 3 dishes for £10 seemed like a good deal and the food didn't disappoint. Was more than enough for two to share for a light late lunch. Would recommend

Tonight we went to Donde, after hearing how nice it was from a couple friends. However this was not the case for us. We had the seafood platter which was for the most part very pleasant. Apart from the calamari, which was rubbery and tasteless. The portion was also very small and the unequal portions were not appropriate for sharing. Girls do not go there for your first date, you will end up fighting over a prawn!Then to top it all off, we had the churros for dessert which were obviously from lidl? I had definitely brought the same ones from lidl before. They were greasy and there was no dough in them. They were over cooked and the worst i had ever had. After speaking to a member of staff about our discontent we were rudely dismissed. He then preceded to slam our plates together and walk off, then had the nerve to ask if we wanted to buy ANOTHER dessert. We were appalled and left quickly.

We went in the evening and the candles on the table created a relaxed, friendly and cosy atmosphere. Lots of tapas choices and delicious. Everyone in our group commented on how tasty the food was from the meat to the vegetarian options. Service was excellent. Great for families or friends. A hidden gem in Honor Oak.

The food is delicious and everybody welcomed us really well. We tries 4 different tapas and had a really good time.

The fish dishes were cooked very well, starters lovely, but some meat dishes included blatantly canned ingredients. Paying £5-£6.50 a dish, you&#039;d expect most to be fresh. The blood pudding is a must have.<br /><br />Drinks-wise, the selection isn&#039;t that great, but prices very reasonable.<br /><br />The staff are very friendly, but service can be slow. Towards the end of the night, it took a while to get the attention of a server even though there were only three open covers. When we were finally seen to, we were well looked after.<br /><br />I&#039;ve dined here a few times and have to say it&#039;s a pretty reliable place with good value, but you do need to dine a few times to figure out what works and what doesn&#039;t. Be prepared to wait a little while, too.

I've been visiting Donde at least 6 times since I've been living in the vicinity and I consider myself lucky. It's a nice authentic and modest place but it compensates a lot more with it's amazing food, drinks and staff. I've tried the majority of the tapas from the menu and please mind that whatever tip you leave, it's actually split between the staff and the owner doesn't keep a penny. I confirmed that myself with him as he randomly was there and took orders. Who does that ? Good people.The only downside for me, which is minor, your clothes will smell of food by the time you finish. Which I don't mind really.Recommend !

Popped in for a leisurely graze on some super tasty tapas. This was a great place to unwind awesome choice of food and wine.I was a lucky enough to be dining with like minded people and we tried three of the tasting platters . They were superb.We will be back. Thanks to the staff Good service, sublime food.

One of my favourite spots for a modern brunch. I was well behaved (for once) and skipped the Bloody Mary. The coffee was worth it though. A scrummy flat white.He went for the chorizo with a side of morcilla. I had the greens. Both served on a toasted ciabatta (I of course brought my own cause of the wheat allergy, but they happily accommodate) and a portion of scrambled eggs. Friendly service as ever. A relaxed informal venue.

The food was lovely, particularly the cheese platter, desserts and croquettes. It wasn't out of this world - just good tasting, standard tapas fare with decent portions. The only thing I wasn't keen on was that the chorizo in the stew had a very soft mushy texture. Out of the 6 or so dishes we had, one complaint from quite a picky eater isn't bad at all.

I went here with my partner for an evening meal. We chose a variety of dishes, They where all fantastic. I was served by a lovely waiter. Young with blonde hair. Although he was young he delivered the most fantastic service I have experienced in recent years. So professional and charming, would defiantly come back. I recommend the churros and the fish platter.

Love that they change the menu, but leave their best dishes untouched. Portions are generous for a tapas place so that you won&#039;t leave hungry, while the process are also reasonable.

Donde is okay but there dessert are amazing. I had the churos with the vanilla ice cream and just to tell you I would highly recommend it because of the dessert. as well the meal is nice but I think the best meal is the lamb chops and steak.

Great Food, great ambience! Not expensive and good service

short: not in a rush to go back, but fairly decentlong: food is decent, one or two dishes of the 6 we got weren't great, the rest were your standard spanish fare. the service is as expected, menu varied, not great value for money but not a rip-off. atmosphere is good. recommend it if you're a big fan of spanish food, an independent slightly better La Tasca. don't go out of your way, though.

We had a great brunch, very honestly priced. The tapas lookgood too. The service was goo enough to and love the decor. Recommended!

Been going to Donde for several years, and last visit the food was good, but the quantity was much less than previous visits, and the prices have gone up. they were doing specials in the evenings ie carafe of wine when you ordered 5 Tapas and a Platter this has stopped.<br />May be finding another local Tapas to dine.

On a hot Saturday evening this restaurant was buzzing when we arrived. The waiter who 'greeted' us pointed in the direction of our reserved table and left us for the next 15 minutes! After this less than promising start we finally managed to order and the food arrived swiftly. From this point on we had no complaints and enjoyed a good mix from the tapas menu. The seafood was particularly good.If you are looking for a quiet evening this is not the place to go but if you want good food with plenty of noise and minimal interruption from the staff enjoy!

Wine nice. Water nice. Food disgusting. Service abominable. After rudely been told to shift seats because that table was reserved we picked five dishes from the menu. One tasted like feet. The others were mediocre and the special dish of the day "Octopus with a sprinkle of paprika" tasted like it had just been prised from a tin can and was inedible. We experienced some of the worst service we have ever had and when we said about the Octopus not being great, after forcing the food down, the rude waiter replied "have you had Octopus before" and turned his back on us. No thank you and no goodbye. Save your evening and go elsewhere its not worth your hard earned cash.

Had some food there recently and it was really good. A lot more effort has gone into the menu with some great veggy options. The service is now very good. We'll be back!

Food is great everything tastes so nice, menu is small but it's enough and soooo tasty. Definitely recommend a visit you will love it. It's low key and relaxed. Try the honey chorizo it's lovely.

Reading some of the previous reviews I wasn't very keen on me and my wife coming here for dinner. However, I decided to try it for myself. We booked as I assumed it would have been busy as it was a Friday night. Our table for two was reserved for us and I really liked the ambience and how the restaurant looks, very unique and not like your typical tapas places.I am a very big fan of Spanish food, my wife not so much but Donde really changed her opinion on it, which is a big step for me and her as now we can visit more often with our two kids. Regarding the service, we were greeted very kindly by a waitress, I believe she was the only female there, seated quickly, and handed menus ( only negative thing I have to mention is they are not laminated, so are easily ruined). She brought us water while we decided what we wished to order. We weren't too sure on how big the portions were so we asked the waitress and she recommended either a platter and two tapas or six tapas between two people. We were told the platter of your choice is a larger plate with a variety of the dishes condensed into one, depending on which one you ordered. For drinks, my wife is very picky so we were offered to try the Estrella pint and San Miguel. We went for the Estrella. Drinks were served quickly and had given us enough time to decide what we wanted to order.We decided to order 6 tapas, there is an offer where you order 6 you get a carafe of house red/white or sangria jug for 5 pounds. Unfortunately, It wasn't valid on a Friday. Nonetheless, the drinks are at a very fair price so that was not a problem anyway. The waitress was very knowledgeable and knew to tell us exactly how the dishes came and she answered our queries to the most sufficient extent. Our food did not take long to come either, gave us enough time to have a conversation, the waiter told us what each dish was when he served the food and was too, very kind. The presentation of the food was lovely. Even the smell of the food was satisfying us before even tucking in. There is a can with soviets and the cutlery which is very authentic. The waitress checked up on us to see if everything was al right with our food or if we needed anything. My favourite plate was the aubergine bake, beautiful taste. My wife loved the Sardines and the lamb neck which melts in your mouth. The baby squid are also to die for. As for salad, the super food is the one. We also had the king prawns which were amazing quality. The older waiter also checked up on us and other tables and was very friendly, we asked him for a dessert menu when we were finished with our tapas. He told us what his favourite was and we decided to go with it, so we had a portion of churros and Salted Caramel. Very knowledgeable. The desserts were also amazing and I honestly struggled to fault anything but I too am very picky, the chocolate sauce tasted a bit cheap but that was it. everything else was top notch. The older waiter with the shirt gave me a cappuccino on the house, which was splendid. Very content that I ignored the negative review I read which previously put me off and tried it for myself as it also changed my wifes view on Spanish food. Recommend this place as it is affordable and worth every penny.Special well done to the waitress too who was very comical and pleasant when talking our payment.

I do not live around the area and I am truly gutted that I do not. It was my first time trying it out and I will definitely be making time to go back. My boyfriend lives about five minutes from Donde and had been before and loved it. Service was excellent, waitress was extremely friendly, fast and humorous, asked us if everything was good and was overall very kind. The food was fast and tasted like heaven. I really recommend the sardines and aubergine bake. The sangria we ordered was amazing, I literally cannot find fault in anything which is not usually like me. Also, the churros are spectacular.

After walking around Honor Oak Park looking for a smart daytime spot to catch up on some work, I stumbled across Donde. With a smart interior and friendly staff, I picked up 'The Works' (a cooked breakfast) and latte -- not expecting anything special. To my pleasant surprise, the breakfast was delicious. In particular, the butcher sausages and bacon. To top if off, the blend of coffee was fantastic. Definitely one of the best in the area and a great atmosphere to pickup your midday emails or visit with friends.

The worst thing I have put in my mouth since the incident with the washing up liquid when I was seven.. Mojito didn't help as it was a glass containing half a mint plant and a chopped whole lime with ice.All that for the wonderful price of £44.NEVER AGAIN..

This restaurant was absolutely DISGUSTING in every way you could imagine.. The service was appalling and as for the food I spat it out back onto the plate. I have never ever in my life tasted food so bad it shocked me to the core. The lamb was terrible and swimming in something that looked like DIARRHOEA, the prawns STUNK and the salad was swimming in oil. My drink was revolting and the guy must have put the whole mint tree in my glass as I was unable to stuck through my straw due to the amount of mint in there.I ate only one mouthful of my food and trust me I almost vomited, and all at the cost of £44.00 a total rip off. I was so shocked at the level and care put into this food that I plan on reporting this restaurant to the food and trading standards as it was totally DISGUSTING AND NOT NOT BE SERVED TO THE PAYING PUBLIC.Also to my shock and horror in the cup on the table that held our knifes and forks in had a CONDOM at the bottom of the cup ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. I WOULD URGE PEOPLE NOT TO EAT IN THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ILL AS THE MINUTE I LEFT THIS PLACE I VOMITED MY GUTS UP. The chef needs to be sacked

Lovely little place to visit. Menu has recently been upgraded giving more variety in food. Food is very tasty and decent sized tapas portions. Service was friendly but could do with some organisation and speeding up. However would recommend to friends and family.

Food was good, sent back Chorritos as they were cooked too much, asked if I would like anything else, would have liked them replaced, 5 minutes later chef was walking out of door, obviously she was on her way home!!! We eat there regularly, perhaps it was just an off night

Had a great experience at Donde restaurant. the food was great and the service even greater. We had theater tickets, so we asked to get our food ASAP, and they did everything very fast, without neglecting food quality Good mojitos and nice Spanish wine selection.Make a reservation, or if you get lucky, go to the back and sit at the bar--no need for reservation.

This was a friendly and reasonable value restaurant in 2014 but things have changed for the worse. Never enough staff at the bar and the customer is harassed until they order food and then rushed in and out if the place is busy. I used to go in several times a month but not any more - I know several other people who have the same view - such a shame.

Great food, although not as good as the last time we came about 7 months ago. Very good value and tasty wine. Service friendly and polite but pretty slow. Deserts on the house at the end though so that made up for it : )

I&#039;ve been going here since 2009 and have seen a lot of changes to the decor and the name, but never to the food. All the tapas are fairly priced but recent changes to the chorizo which is now sliced, and new dishes like the pig&#039;s cheeks, fail to inspire. The Patatas Bravas also seemed re-fried and there were no chicken dishes apart from the paella. Previously I would have given them 4 or 5, but now a 3 seems appropriate.

Second visit here, and already looking forward to my third. Food, wine and beer consistently excellent, lots of choice and small plates so you can experience different things. Service was brilliant - my previous visit was at a very busy time, and they were friendly but struggling. This time it was a huge improvement. Extremely efficient. So glad I left room for the churros this time too. They could just do with some decaff coffee. Hardly a showstopper.

Dropped in here on a very busy Friday night. The welcome was friendly but if took ages for our food to arrive. Everyone else had water on the table - ours never came even though we asked for it. I was gasping for a drink. It was such as shame because the food was actually fantastic. Piping hot. The fried tapas such as croquettas were crispy and not oily. The artichokes in lemon fragrant. Sourdough wonderful and drizzled with the most fragrant and complex olive oil. I would have loved to try more but was too worried about how long it would take to arrive. Great value at £40 for six tapas and two drinks. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant, I just wish she'd had more time to look after us. When we left she asked whether we would come back - we said yes, but on a quieter night. I really fancy trying the churros.

Donde is a great restaurant that serves excellent food and is friendly and welcoming. I have visited with small and large groups of friends and the service and food has always been great.

I use Donde roughly once a month for casual dining with friends. The tapas selection is very good indeed - some unusual and delicious options. The wine selection is reasonable and everything is well priced - good value. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the service consistently good. The only thing which marks it down a little is that the restaurant is quite cold - I usually make sure I'm dressed warmly!

Nice venue, well decorated, good range of well prepared food, although more salad options would be good. It was busy which is a good sign and we will definitely go back.

Behind a warehouse-industrial look they&#039;re hiding some wonderful tapas there!<br />The choice isn&#039;t gigantic but what they make tastes great. We had jamon croquettes, baby squid, sea bream, grilled prawns, meat balls, pig cheeks, morcillo and fried chorizo - and all of them were enjoyable. And well made - no bad cliche of &quot;chorizo slices poached in oil&quot; or dripping greasy calamari chunks but rather nice crispy fried squid and little chorizos in a honey-glaze, or slow cooked Pig cheeks in a smoky gravy.<br />Friendly waitress. <br />The wine we had (had a glass of house Rioja and my partner a glass of Malbec) wasn&#039;t great, but will definitely go back for food.

This isn't your average tapas bar (good though those can be). Instead it's inventive Spanish cooking - with interesting twists on a number of traditional favourites - and very good value (especially when ordering multiple tapas). Service is very friendly, and a decent wine list. Alongside Babur and Le Querce, this is now my favourite place to eat out in Honor Oak. Highly recommended.

I love this place. Nice food, friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere. Good for talking with friends, family dining, anything really and not astronomically expensive either. Recommended.

Really good, fairly priced tapas! Great specials - we had a steak and horseradish special that was absolutely amazing! Staff are knowledgable and friendly, they put a sauce on the side for us when they heard one of us didn't like mushrooms :) Only issue was really tough, chewy pig cheeks but the sauce they were in more than made up for it. Nice wine, and all come as a karafe. Lovely local all round!

We ate here with our two children and all of us really enjoyed it. Donde has a lovely atmosphere, the service was pretty quick and the food was absolutely delicious. We shall return.

I took my friend to this restaurant for her birthday and we had a lovely evening. The staff were pleasant and welcoming and the atmosphere was quiet but not uncomfortably so. Our food was lovely as were the cocktails. I would definitely go again especially with the great discounts.

Done is a great bar and tapas restaurant in Honor Oak Park. Had a lovely meal there on a Saturday night when the whole place was buzzing. Great value too.

I've been coming back to this local tapas over and over this year as they do the basics really well and the owner is most welcoming and accommodating. My baby loves their manzanilla olives and tortillas - and the tortilla is spot on every time. The best dish for me is the tender pigs cheeks with sobrisada and sherry which just melts in the mouth - a dish so moreish that I have to keep ordering bread to mop up the sauce - I could eat that all day long. Other great dishes are the harissa chicken, albondigas and chorizo and alburina stew. The paella is also authentic and well made. If the basics of a cuisine are well done I can forgive the not so great calamari dish! I do agree with the other reviews that this is their weakest dish with a soggy oily batter and not much taste. However with the rest of the menu being so fabulous and because they serve my favourite wine from San Sabastian, San Rueda Verdejo, I will be going back again and again to satisfy my craving for good honest hearty Spanish food. Besides where else will you get 6 tapas for £20?!

This is a relaxed place where I go with my son and girlfriend for some tasty tapas and a carafe of wine.The atmosphere is earthy but friendly. You get a meal for three with wine for £40 which is great value.It's not a special occasion place but best suited to weekday dining and casual weekend dining

I met my friend here and we choose the 6 tapas for £25 deal and some of the dishes from the seasonal menu. The pig cheeks and the serrano ham wrapped in asparagus were particularly toothsome and they seem to have sorted out any issues they may have had with the calamari. <br /><br />The wine list was great and happily most items were available as either glasses, carafes or bottles which I always like.

Delicious food - Aubergine bake, Brava potatoes served dry with delicious dip, Pimientos Padron and white anchovies were all good.Calamari was a bit ordinary. Courgette fritada more like a ratatouille with potatoes - ie wetter than fritada implies.Nice Rose wine. Free bread and amazing Aïoli for those ordering 6 tapas. I suggest requesting the bread is warmed in the oven as it was served cold.Seats a little uncomfortable (cushions provided but still not quite enough) and basic decor but food tasty. I would go again .

We ordered a meze platter and some calamari. The meze was ok though obviously the cheese and meat was from a supermarket standard packet and the calamari was obviously from a freezer bag. We both tried one bit of the calamari and left the rest of the plate, rubbery oily and tasteless. We won't be coming back unless things change.

Early drinks with family. Busy and buzzing with atmosphere. Makes a great venue for pre dinner drinks though drinks are fairly pricey I always think. However it's a great local bar and glad it's in local neighbourhood!
