Apologies for the photos—they don’t do the food justice. I started eating before I could take proper ones as I was immediately transported back to Colombia with the first bite. I absolutely loved everything! I arrived in London yesterday and had been craving an arepa de chocolo con queso, so I researched nearby restaurants and was pleasantly surprised to find this place. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in London. I’m just so happy to have tasted authentic Colombian food again!

I was at Donde Carlos restaurant. Lina served me and she showed a deep knowledge of the menu, suggesting dishes according to my preference. The quality of the food was also on par with the excellent service. I recommend visiting Donde Carlos and if you are lucky enough to be served by Lina and Mauricio, you will surely have an unforgettable experience. I will definitely return.

I had a wonderful experience at Donde Carlos, a true corner of Colombia. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, and Lina, who served me, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The food was spectacular, full of authentic flavors. I tried tripe soup and it was delicious, with that homemade touch that makes you feel like you were in Colombia. Each dish was full of freshness and the traditional flavor I expected. The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and perfect to enjoy a good meal in the company of friends or family. As soon as we walked in we got a sarcastic comment about how late we were ( I called to inform the restaurant and they said it’s fine). Then we weren’t informed about happy hour till 8:00 when it ended. The waitress wouldn’t let us change our order to cocktails even though we ordered our drinks before 8 and there was barely anyone else in the restaurant. Poor service to our table but great service to the male on the table next to us ! Not coming back.

Where Carlos makes me feel at home, the Ajiaco and its desserts deserve a 10/10, I loved them, and I didn't even love the attention (Estrella), an excellent place to share with the family.

I have been wanting for months to find something that reminds me of the flavor and seasoning of my land, the panchanguera and beautiful Cali that everyone falls in love with and here in London I finally discovered the most delicious chop, where you can enjoy every bite of it. Where Carlos is that place where you can feel close to where you come from again and tasting each of their dishes is a unique experience. 😊

Our first time trying out “Donde Carlos Restaurant”… We loved it ! The food was delicious , very fresh. The waiters are very friendly and super efficient.. Especialmente Claudia. Would 100% recommend if you’re in Shepherds bush area.

A lovely hidden gem with a homely feel. It was our first experience of Colombian food which was very hearty and delicious. Very good value for money given the huge portion size! The beef empanada was the best I’ve had and the green sauce is to die for. Claudia was so friendly and kind, and really made us feel well looked after.

The most tasteless food I have ever eaten in a Latin restaurant bandeja paisa ????I DO NOT recommend you eat here. It is overpriced and the cashier was dismissive.

I was very surprised to find an authentic Colombian restaurant right in the middle of London. The owner was also the cook, which took me by surprise because the food was absolutely delicious. I cannot emphasize how happy I was to find this location.

I've been coming to Donde Carlos for more than 10 years and the food has always been amazing but the service is truly unique. I went with my family one or two months ago and my daughter, who is very sensitive to noise, had a bit of a meltdown. The staff was super helpful, and moved us to a table downstairs where it was quieter and we had a lovely time. Fast forward to today. After making a reservation, when we came in the staff remembered us from last time and opened the downstairs section -- just for us -- so we could eat without music in the background. I can guarantee you that nowhere else will you (and your family) be so well taken care of. And again, the food is absolutely amazing. My daughters, 4 and 5, are as picky eaters as could be and were very happy trying frijoles (beans), plantain, chicharron (pork belly), arepa, everything! If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favour and go. I guarantee you will be back!

This by far has to be one of the best if not the best Colombian restaurant that I have ever been to, the food was absolutely amazing the empanadas as a starter were literally the best ones I’ve ever had. This is a gem among Colombian restaurants in London by far the most delicious one I’ve ever been at and I have been to a lot of Colombian restaurants. This is my number one spot. It was my first time trying authentic Colombian food, and the food was insanely delicious. Every bite was filled with flavour and you could tell it was all cooked with so much love. We had the calamares that we melted in my mouth. The meat empadanas were to die for. I had the steak with egg for main and the meat was sublime. The staff were so smiley and helpful. The chef came to personally check how our food was. I was so impressed by every part of this culinary experience. 10/10!
