The food was outstanding. Best ramen I had in London and best ramen I had in a long time. Toppings are very good and rather cheap. Udons were better than ramen noodles. Definitely recommend.

Great service, super nice. Some good dishes (udon with beef), others mediocre (so-so chicken and curry, shame about the takoyaki with the sauce on the side and a very high proportion of pasta compared to octopus).

Just tried the chilli summer udon and it was incredible

We found this lovely cozy spot with Japanese food as we were on our way back home one evening. The food was perfect for us- we all had vegetable tempura. Service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. We ate outdoors which was also nice on a mild evening.

My first time there. I had noodles with beef and some chopped lettuce. Unappetising, soggy looking mess, that tasted way too vinegary. I’m angry because I am half Japanese and this is not Japanese food. Save your money don’t go there.

Came here looking for a gyudon! The place is really homey and the food was a 10/10! Was greeted with smiling faces and amazing food would recommend to anyone looking for japanese in the area

This place is a decent mid work day lunch, offering a range of Japanese food in a cardboard box. I usually go for the Katsu Chicken, the chicken is a bit soggy, which I don’t appreciate but it’s passable the sauce and rice are good. Portion size is also good for the price. Overall its alright, I’ll have it every one in a while.

Nice soba noodles soup less with beef curry sauce. I liked the bowl for eat-in. Yet to try the noodle soup. Wouldn’t recommend the rice as it was too sticky like gooey texture. It was abit too watery for my liking. Nice lunch place tucked away behind the busy streets of St Paul’s

My go to place for a lunch meal when i was staying in st paul for more than a month. The broth was tasty and comforting and the portion size is generous. It is not the best ramen/ udon dish i've had but it is consistently good. A perfect lunch spot for the busy bees out there.

£10 for a chicken Katsu but it's some soggy karage and isn't there supposed to be sauce? I ordered this because the pictures and reviews here looked great but I just got a dry box of stuff with some sad looking lettuce. I cannot recommend ordering the Katsu. And in any case, if you're taking out, check what's in the box & bag before you leave the place.

I come here for lunch every so often..take away the food and either eat in the office or outside somewhere. The food is fresh and delicious. One of my goto treats in the area. I haven't reviewed this place before but today I had the beef udon Noodle Soup. Which was excellent 👌. The Soup came in two parts , allowing you to add the watery soup part to the beef and vegetables to your own liking - exactly how it should be. Highly recommend this place for flavour and service .

Had the Niku Beef Udon for lunch. Pretty tasty. The seats could be higher though 😅. Also wish there was a self-service place to put our bowls away after eating like Marugame.

The beef ramen is quite delicious. Added some Karaage and hot sauce as extra. You might have to wait in line around lunch but it moves fast.

Over cooked luke warm noodles and rubbery weird inedible chicken. Awful and over priced.

I had Katsu Chicken Curry. Unfortunately the chicken was inedible. Rubbery, slimey, strange textured chicken. Really gross!

Teri chicken udon soup noodles. The chicken is tender and juicy. The soup tastes great!

Amazing food truly hit the spot great Katsu and excellent Udon ramen

A strange place First of all the food is amazing. Especially if Japanese food is your thing. But the customer service although polite is lacking on the organisational front Example 1; ordered spicy prawn rice from Ritual app. Picked it up and it was plain rice with absolute no spice Example 2; re-ordered the spicy prawn rice and went to pick them up. Again no spice and when I pointed this out the lady dashed some chill flakes onto it Example 3(!); ordered Katsu prawn rice via Ritual app. Order was rejected 10 mins later, so I paid them a visit in person. The lady behind the till explained they had no prawns left, which was fine. So I ordered the 'Beef gyudon' from the same rice section. I ended up with BEEF UDON noodles So like I said, a bit strange. Food however is very tasty but organisational and customer satisfaction skills need a little bit of work

Great Ramen place opened from 11am! 8/10 Beef Broth: great taste, missed some spices 7/10 meat: shredded beef. Good but I would prefere something to chew ;) 8/10 noodles, exactly what I expected £10 Large portion filled me easily:)

Traditional noodle bar. Could use some 'seasoning' on the table so I can customise the soup a bit, but the original is very tasty to start with.

近隣では一番おいしいと思われる日本食テイクアウトです。牛丼を食べましたが非常においしかったので、日本の味に飢えてる人はぜひ。同行者はうどんを食べていましたが、こちらも近所のうどん屋よりおいしいとのことでした。

The food here is really nice! The portions are actually quite large, so I don't feel too hard-done-by when I pay £8-ish for a curry bowl, because it's a reasonably sized bowl of curry and rice. The Chicken Katsu curry is my favourite, though. The chicken is so tender and moist, and the batter on the chicken is crispy and well seasoned. My friends and I go there for lunch at least once every week, but anyone that goes there should be aware that it is very small, with little seating. Therefore, going there during the lunch rush (12:00/13:00) will mean that you'll have to get take away, rather than eat in as there will be nowhere to sit. Honestly, I might even go again today.

The most genuine Japanese takeway place in the City, frequented by Japanese businesswomen and men. Beef Niku Udon noodles are amazing. Donburi rice too!

I ended up going here for lunch/takeout by chnace as another resturant was closed. I'll definately be going back as this was really good. The service was quick and we picked up a really nice spicy chicken rice box. Really tasty stuff!

Arguably the best chicken katsu curry I've ever had. I like the texture of the karaage chicken.
